In this paper, an approach to designing controllers for the tension/movement control of working robot to install a stringing wire cable is presented. To design a controller, when the robot moves a certain distance maintaining constant tension, the dynamic model of a stringing wire cable which considers effects of weights according to changing lengths is presented. Also the tension at startup of the working robot is studied by numerical analysis which is based on the equation of the dynamic wire model. From the dynamic model for a stringing wire cable, working robot for tension/movement control is suggested and designed a feedforward controller with a accelerator gain to suppress a mutual interference of the both tasks of tension/movement control. Depending on the operating conditions of the working robot, the effectiveness of the suggested system has been verified by the simulation and experimental results.

Purpose: This study investigated the orthodontic tooth movement after weekly parathyroid hormone (PTH) injection in mongrel dogs and analyzes bone formation activity on the tension and pressure sides of the tooth movement in mongrel dogs. Materials and Methods: Three mongrel dogs were used in this study. The first premolar was extracted and orthodontic force using 150 g of closed coil springs between the canine and second premolar was applied. The low-dose PTH group (PTH_1) and high-dose PTH group (PTH_2) received weekly injections of 1.61 ㎍/kg and 3.23 ㎍/kg of PTH, respectively. The control group received weekly injections of 1 ml of saline. Clinical, histomorphometric analysis were carried out. Result: The orthodontic tooth movement was greatest in the PTH_2 group and the lowest in the control group. Fluorescence staining images showed higher bone remodeling on the tension side of the tooth movement in the PTH_1 and PTH_2 groups. PTH_2 group showed a thicker labeling band than the PTH_1 group. PTH_2 group showed the highest mineral apposition rate and bone formation rate, followed by the PTH_1 group and the control group. Conclusion: Weekly intermittent PTH injection, especially in the short-term and at higher doses with orthodontic force, successfully increased orthodontic tooth movement and bone remodeling in mongrel dogs.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of orthodontic force on periodontal cellular activity by immunoperoxidase stain of epidermal growth factor, one of the tissue hormone. And supplementarily, to investigate of the changes of periodontal structures, periodontium was stained by H-E, Masson's Trichrome, P. A. S. stain after orthodontic force application. The experimental animals were four young adult dogs of average 8 month old. The fixed orthodontic appliance was cemented on mandibular right 4th premolar and 1st molar of each animal as experimental site. Mandibular left 4th premolar area of the same animal was used as control. The appliance consist of two silver crown soldered with 0.030' tube, $0.018\times0.022'$ S.S. sectional arch wire, and 0.009' open coil spring for manifestating of orthodontic force for bodily tooth movement of mandibular 4th premolar toward mesial direction. Experimental group was sacrificed at 1, 2, 3, 5 weeks from beginning of the experiment, and was investigated immunohistochemically and bistochemically by several staining methods. Findings were as follows: 1. The degree of EGF staining in control group was highest in epithelium of periodontium, and osteoclasts, osteoblasts and fibroblasts around the capillary were stained at higher level in periodontium. Generally, control group shows positive distribution of EGF all around the periodontal area. 2. The degree of EGF staining in control and 5 week group were similar, and did not show the significant different level between tension and pressure side. 3. All of 1, 2, 3 week group showed the same staining degree and distribution of EGF, and the tension side was more positive reaction of EGF stain than the pressure side. 4. The features of collagen fiber and periodontal fiber arrangement observed by H-E, Masson's Trichrome and P. A. S. stain revealed that oblique periodontal fibers were strectched in tension side, compressed in pressure side of all experimental group. Some fiber group in pressure side of 5 week group recovered the regular arrangement along the capillaries.

This case study has been prepared to provide the practical data about construction of temporary shoring facilities (i.e. braced sheet pile excavation) and to utilize the case study information effectively for design and construction of future facilities. This case study includes information such as 1) installing measurement devices to monitor the deformation of the sheet pile walls and the subsoil in the vicinity after establishing the criteria for the sheet pile deflection; 2) monitoring the actual movement of the temporary facility after setting up the survey control standard (due to the movement of the temporary facility) : 3) inspecting the suitability of the temporary facility construction: and 4) analyzing and studying the result of the tension test after installing ground anchors.
When a electric power cable is installed in the air for newly or exchanged working, it is necessary at all time to hold a constant tension for an overhead power cable. And also a pendanted power cable is an extreme job to have work in a high sky. For this reason, the objective of this paper developments working robot for preventing disaster that tension of cable installed automatically power cable to hold a constant. So the working robot works at all the time two tasks for mobil and tension it come into a inference between two tasks, control is difficult. Control methode needs to suppress inference of two tasks. In this paper, for installation of overhead power cable, the scheme and control methode of working robot is presented. the robot work at a same time tow tasks that have hold a constant tension of the power cable and move a constant place while unfasten a winding cable at a drum on a chassis. Working robot consist of three parts with mobile system, tension system and control part. As it is applied the feedback/feedforward control, methode of hybrid control is established to suppress that interference come into between two tasks. The simulation programs is made out using models of mobil and tension system, and a proposed controllers. In accordance with simulation, the model of each systems is discussed to make out proper. And also parameters of controllers is selected a suitable value and the driving performance of robot is evaluated.

Dancer systems are typical equipment for attenuation of tension disturbances. Lately, demands for high speed roll-to-roll machines are rising but it is prior to attenuate the tension variation on the web entering into the printing zone to achieve the speed increment. Maintaining a constant tension before the first printing cylinder is the key of high speed, high quality printing. Dancer has been researched in two ways, whether it is controlled or not. The first one is active dancer and the other one is passive dancer. In the active dancer, a position of idle roll of dancer is measured and the roll is moved by external hydraulic cylinder to control tension disturbances. While the passive one composed with spring, damper and idle roll has no external actuator to position the idle roll. The tension disturbance causes movement of dancer roll and the displacement of the roll regulates the tension variation. On the other hand a composite type of dancer is applied for roll-to-roll printing machines. It has same apparatus as passive dancer. The displacement of roll is measured and front(or rear) driven roller is controlled to position the roll. In this paper, it is presented an analysis of pendulum dancer including position feedback PI control and logic for PI gain tuning in roll-to-roll machines. Pole-zero map and root locus with varying system parameters gives a design method for control of the dancer.

Background and Objectives : The common cause of voice disorders may be bad habits of phonation. faulty vocal habits might aggravate the voice disorder or make the dysphonia. Authors thought the analysis of faulty vocal habits might help to evaluate the causes and to choose the treatment methods in patients with dysphonia. Authors studied to evaluate which vocal habits were used in patients with dysphonia. Materials and Methods : Patients with dysphonia(N= 32) and person without dysphonia(N=20) were evaluated through pre-evaluation test by otolaryngologist and SLP. All subjects were evaluated accordingly Posture of body, expansion of cervical vein, excessive movements of thyroide prominence, position of tongue, tension of lower lip, tension of jaw, breathing pattern related with phonation. Results : In dysphonia group, we found 23 cases with tension of jaw, 15 cases with expansion of cervical vein, 7 cases with bad position of tongue, 3 cases with excessive movement of thyroid prominence and a lot of cases with bad breathing Pattern on Phonation. In control group, only 3 cases with bad position of tongue, 2 cases with tension of lower lip, 1 case with tension of jaw were found. Conclusions : More faulty vocal habits were found in dysphonia group. Authors thought faulty vocal habits could be the cause of dysphonia and aggravate the dysphonia and the control of vocal habits would be very important in patients with dysphonia.
The objective of this experiment is to observe structural differences in the othodontic movement of vital (control group) and devitalized (experimental group) teeth in the mongrel dogs. The 5 utilized dogs in this experiment were approximately 1 year of age and their average weight was about 12 Kg. Endodontic therapy was performed on the 2nd premolars in upper & lower jaws of each animal under the general anesthesia by intravascular injection of 25mg/kg of pentobarbital sodium. The canals of the teeth were obturated by using gutta percha in conjunction with root canal sealer (AH26 Densply). One of the roots in the 2nd premolars was hemisected to make an extraction space for the devitalized teeth to be moved. The edgewise technique was employed for the movement of the teeth. Orthodontic models and intraoral roentgenograms were taken before and after orthodontic tooth movement. The open coil springs (.010 x .040) were used at interbraket space in order to provide equal forces (75gm) between the teeth in each arch wire. After 13 weeks of active orthodontic tooth movement, dogs were sacrified and the experimental results w ere examined through the intraoral radiography, microscopic examination and scanning electromicroscopic examination at the root sulfate. From the results of the study, the following conclusions may be drawn: The root resolution and cemental deposition were observed within the pressure and tension site in both group. 2. The root resorbed lacunae were observed in the cementum and/or into the dentin in both group. 3. The prominent osteoblastic activities were observed on the alveolar margin in the tension site in both group. 4. A few of blood vessels were observed in the pressure site, but also lots of blood vessels were observed in the tension site especially in the periphery of the alveolar bone in both group. 5. In the pressure site, resorbed lacunae were formed with deep and narrow cavity in the control group; the shallow and wide cavity in the experimental group. 6. In the pressure site, the repaired cementum or cementoid tissue was lined on cementum in the experimental group, but not in the control group. 7. There was no significant difference between external root resolution of endodontically and vital teeth when both were subjected to orthodontic forces.

Background: Tension-type headaches, which make up the highest proportion of headaches, are prone to develop into chronic tension-type headaches (CTTH). The characteristic of CTTH in patients is that the active myofascial trigger point (ATrP) which causes pain in the muscles of the back of the head is increased, compared to the normal headache and moves the head position forward. Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of myofascial release (MFR) and posture correction in effectively improving neck function and sleep quality in the symptoms of CTTH patients. Design: Observer-blind study Methods: To reduce ATrP, MFR was applied and exercise was also applied to correct posture. The subjects of this study were 48 individuals randomly divided into three groups; The MFR group using the MFR technique; The MFR with exercise group subject to both the MFR technique and forward head position correction exercises (MFREx), and the control group. MFR and MFREx groups were given the relevant interventions twice a week for four consecutive weeks, and went through the number ATrPs, range of motion (ROM) of neck, Neck Disability Index (NDI) and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) before and after the intervention. A physical therapist, who was fully familiar with the measuring methods of the equipment, was the measurer and not aware of the target's condition was blinded to take measurements only before and after intervention. Results: There was a significant improvement in the ATrP, Neck ROM, NDI and PSQI in the group of patients to whom the MFR technique and MFREx were applied. MFREx was more effective in increasing neck mobility. Conclusions: According to this study, the application of MFR is effective in improving neck movement and sleep quality in chronic tension headache patients.
Bone remodeling is a complex process regulated by various mediators. Cytokines are known to be associated with the mechanically induced response in orthodontic tooth movement. In particular, IL-$1\beta$ stimulates bone resorption and induces osteoclast proliferation. The purpose of this study was to identify and quantify IL-$1\beta$ in human gingival crevicular fluid(GCF), and to investigate the changes in its level during orthodontic tooth movement. Twelve patients(mean age of 19.2 years) were used as the subjects. An upper canine of each patient haying treatment lot distal movements served as the experimental tooth, whereas the contralateral was used as the control. The GCF of compression and tension side of the experimental teeth and the GCF of mesial side of control teeth was taken from the each subject immediately before activation, and at 1, 24, and 168 hr after initiation tooth movement. IL-$1\beta$ amount was detected by ELISA. The concentration of IL-$1\beta$ was higher in experimental group than in the control group after treatment. Its level was elevated after initiation of tooth movement and it was the highest level at 24 hr in compression side of experimental group. But there was no significant change in control group. The results indicate that the change in IL-$1\beta$ level in GCF is associated with orthodontic tooth movement.
