To examine the effect of heat treatment temperature in finishing process on PET/PBT Fabric, PET/PBT Fabrics were treated at different relaxing temp., pre-set temp., and final-set temp.. The dimensions such as thickness and density were measured, and the handles were evaluated by Kawabata system. In relaxing which was wet heat treatment, thickness and bulkiness were increased, and NUMERI, FUKURAMI, SOFUTOSA, and THV also were increased but KOSHI was decreased with elevating temperature. With elevating pre-set temp., thickness and bulkiness were decreased, but KOSHI was increased. NUMERI, FUKURAMI, SOFUTOSA, and THV were the best at 180$^{\circ}C$ pre-set treatment. In final-set which was dry heat treatment like pre-set, thickness, bulkiness, NUMERI, HUKURAMI, SOFUTOSA, and THV were decreased, but KOSHI value was increased with elevating temperature. Therefore the best heat treatment condition was 130$^{\circ}C$ relaxing, 180$^{\circ}C$ pre-set, and 160$^{\circ}C$ final-set. And the handle of PET/PBT Fabric was affected much more by relaxing temp. than pre-set temp. and final-set temp.
The study aims to investigate the influence of alloying elements(V,Ti) and heat treatment on the mechanical properties in hypo-eutectic chromium cast iron. Before heat treatment, all of the specimen were fully annealed(950$^{\circ}C{\times}5Hr$) to homogenize their structures. The influence of heat treatment and alloying elements(V,Ti) on hardness, retained austenite volume, and charpy impact energy as well as tensile strength of the specimen was tested systematically. Retained austenite decreased with the increase of V and Ti, but incresed with the increase of number of cycles. The impact energy decreased, and hardness and tensile strength increased with the increase of alloying elements (V,Ti) and the decrease of the number of cycles. The hardness and tensile strength increased, but impact energy decreased with the increase of V and Ti elements and the temperature of destabillization heat treatment. After the destabillization heat treatment at the same temperature, the impact energy is increased, while hardness and tensile strength decreased as the increase of tempering temperature. Retained austenite increased with increase of destabilizatoin heat treatment temperature, while decrease with the increase of tempering temperature.
In this study, the effect of solution treatment temperature on the tensile property in intermediate thermo-mechanical treated Al-Li alloys are investigated. After the intermediate thermo-mechanical treated Al-Li, Al-Li-Mg and Al-Li-Mg-Zr alloys were solution treated at various temperatures (500, 520 and $540^{\circ}C$), these were aged at $190^{\circ}C$, $240^{\circ}C$ and tested tensile properties. The results obtained from the experiment are as follows ; 1) The optimum solution heat-treatment temperature is $540^{\circ}C$ for a Al-Li alloy, and the recrystallized grain size is about $70{\mu}m$. 2) The optimum solution heat-treatment temperature is $500^{\circ}C$ for a Al-Li-Mg alloy, and the recrystallized grain size is the most coarse in all alloys. 3) The tensile property is independent of the solution treatment temperature in a Al-Li-Mg-Zr alloy, and the recrystallized grain size is the finest owing to addition of Zr.
This study was evaluated the elastic wave properties according to tension of Incoloy 825 alloy with different solution treatment temperature and aging time. Solution treatment was carried out at 700, 800, 900, and 1000 ℃ for 1 hour, and aging was carried out at 700 ℃ for 1, 5, 10, and 30 hours. As the solution treatment temperature increased, the tensile strength decreased and the elongation increased. However, as the aging time increased, the tensile strength increased and the elongation decreased. The dominant frequency decreased as the solution treatment temperature increased, but increased as the aging time increased. The dominant frequency according to the solution treatment and aging time increased as the tensile strength increased, but increased despite the decrease in elongation.
This study was carried out in order to examine the germination characteristics of Atractylodes japonica seeds, and it was to develop the more efficient pre-treatment and production system of the seeds. Experiment was performed by two ways-temperature control (10, 15, 20, $25^{\circ}C$) and shading treatment (full sunlight, 35, 50, 75, 95% of full sunlight). Seed pre-treatment before the each experiment was carried out by temperature (with low temperature and wetting treatment (LTW) for 0, 15, 30, 45 and 60 days) and shading treatment (with drying at room temperature (DRT), drying at low temperature (DLT) and water soaking (WS) for 48 hours). Seeds of A. japonica were germinated well under temperature control (overall 85.3~100%), especially high temperature. And, the seeds pre-treated with LTW for 45 days germinated with a 100% success rate. Under the surveying shading treatment, the highest germination rate was 95.8% with DRT and overall 63.2~95.8%. Germination rate under seeds with WS was 63.2~7.8%. As a result of surveying the whole experiment, A. japonica seeds don't need to pre-treat cause of high germination, but if it is performed with LTW for a certain period of time, it would be more productive.
This research was performed to investigate the transformation behavior and shape memory effect of Cu-13.5Al-4.5Ni(wt%) alloy with various aging temperature and time. The results obtained in this study are as follows: Transformation temperature was very increased when aging temperature is at $250^{\circ}C$. The variation of transformation temperature in first reverse transformation cycle and second was very significant, but there was little difference in case of 2nd and 3rd. Transformation temperature at various aging temperature was increased with increasing of aging temperature and time. Microvickers hardness was increased with increasing of aging temperature and time. It was found that ${\alpha}$ and ${\gamma}_2$ phase were created by aging of long time at high temperature.
Objectives : To investigate changes in facial temperature generated by Miso Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture treatment. Methods : One middle-aged woman with no diseases was recruited. Miso Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture was performed on only the right side of her face. We measured her facial temperature using digital infrared thermal imaging(DOREX Inc. Spectrum 9,000MB, USA, D.I.T.I) before, immediately after, and 10 minutes after treatment. We also used the Wilcoxon signed rank test(p<0.05) to compare the differences in facial temperature from one side of the face to the other at each time. Results : Facial temperature on the right side(the area treated by acupuncture) increased immediately from $30.02{\pm}1.87^{\circ}C$ to $32.24{\pm}1.03^{\circ}C$, a statistically significant increase. Ten minutes after treatment, facial temperature on the right side decreased a little bit, but there was no statistical significance. Facial temperature on the left side increased a little, but there was no statistical significance. The difference between the right and left sides of the face increased after the Miso Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture treatment. Conclusions : Miso Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture could increase facial temperature.
This study was investigated the effect of subzero treatment in austempered ductile cast iron. Retained austenite transformed to martensite by subzero treatment and strain. With decreasing subzero treatment temperature and increasing strain, retained austenite transformed more to martensite and transformed 30% above by subzero treatment at $-196^{\circ}C$. With decreasing subzero treatment temperature, the value of strength and ratio of increasing of strength, hardness and ratio of increasing of hardness increased but the value of elongation and ratio of decreasing of elongation decreased. With decreasing subzero treatment temperature, impact value and ratio of decreasing of impact value decreased. In case of subzero treatment at $-196^{\circ}C$, hardness value increased about 18% and impact value decreased above 20%. We could find that in subzero treated specimens had a little of effect on the tensile properties but had very much effect on the hardness and value of the impact.

Bumblebees are important pollinators of crops and wildflowers. Bumblebees generally produce one generation per year. One of the key stages for year-round rearing of bumblebees is breaking diapause. To evaluate the effects of a combination method of $CO_2$-narcosis and cold treatment to break the diapause of B. ignitus and B. terrestris queens, we determined whether this method affected their ability to establish a colony after the diapause break. The diapause treatment regimes that were utilized were $CO_2$ ($CO_2$-narcosis), CT-1M (cold treatment at $5^{\circ}C$ for 1 mo), CT-1M-$CO_2$ ($CO_2$-narcosis after cold treatment for 1 mo), CT-2M-$CO_2$ ($CO_2$-narcosis after cold treatment for 2 mo), CT-2M (cold treatment for 2 mo), CT-2.5M-$CO_2$ ($CO_2$-narcosis after cold treatment for 2.5 mo) and CT-2.5M (cold treatment at $5^{\circ}C$ for 2.5 mo). In view of the effects on the colony developmental characteristics of B. ignitus queens, the most favorable diapause treatment was CT-1M-$CO_2$. A combination method of $CO_2$-narcosis and cold temperature treatment yielded better results than that of single $CO_2$-narcosis or cold temperature treatment on the colony development of diapause-broken B. ignitus queens. In the case of B. terrestris queens, we concluded that a combination method of $CO_2$ and cold temperature treatment yielded better results than that of a single cold-temperature (up to 2 mo) treatment. In conclusion, the findings of the present study indicated that the combined application of $CO_2$ and cold temperature was a favorable method for the colony development of diapause-broken B. ignitus and B. terrestris queens compared with only $CO_2$-narcosis or cold temperature treatments. A combination method of $CO_2$ and cold treatment reduced the side effect of $CO_2$-narcosis and shortened the duration of cold treatment by at least 1 mo.
The response of water stree under high and low temperatures, was shown differently according to the longer the suspension period of water supply. Leaf photosynthetic rate(LPS), leaf water potential(WP), relative leaf water content and relative soil water content were lower. At the higher temperatures, the percentate of reduction in LPS and WP was greater than at low temperatures. It is suggested that evaporation rate should be higher in the high temperature than the lower temperature. Also leaf water potential was lower at high temperature than at low temperature. After the 9 th day of treatment , LSP was remarkably reduced at high temperature, but the reduction of LPS was not significant at low temperature. Solidago virga-aurea var. asiatic that maintained LPS of 3rd day after treatment was more strong than other varieties at low temperatures. The silting and curling of leaves were observed symptoms of stress on the 9th day at the both temperatures. The leaves of aster scaber and Ligularia fischeri turned red on the 9th day after treatment at low temperature.
