인공심장판막의 현황

  • Explosive evaporative removal process of biological tissue by absorption of a CW laser has been simulated by using gelatin and a multimode Nd:YAG laser. Because the point of maximun temperature of laser-irradiated gelatin exists below the surface due to surface cooling, evaporation at the boiling temperature is made explosively from below the surface. The important parameters of this process are the conduction loss to laser power absorption (defined as the conduction-to-laser power parameter, Nk), the convection heat transfer at the surface to conduction loss (defined as Bi), dimensionless extinction coefficient (defined as Br.), and dimensionless irradiation time (defined as Fo). Dependence of Fo on Nk and Bi has been observed by experiment, and the results have been compared with the numerical results obtained by solving a 2-dimensional conduction equation. Fo and explosion depth (from the surface to the point of maximun temperature) are increased when Nk and Bi are increased.To find out the minimum laser power for explosive evaporative removal process, steady state analysis has been also made. The limit of Nk to induce evaporative removal, which is proportional to the inverse of the laser power, has been obtained.

스핀스레이법 의한 $Fe{3-X}-Ni_XO_4$ 페라이트 박막의 제작과 그 특성 (The Properties and Manufacturing of $Fe{3-X}-Ni_XO_4$Films by Spin-Spray Ferrite Method)

  • We have performed spin-spray ferrite plating of $Fe{_3}{-X}-Ni_XO_4$(X=0.17~0.26) films in the temperature region $T=80~95[^{\circ}C]$. A reaction solution and an oxidizing solution were supplied to a reaction chamber by supply pump. The solubility limit of Ni increases as the substrate temperature increase, from X=0.17 at $80[^{\circ}C]$ to X=0.26 at $95[^{\circ}C]$. All the films are polycrystalline with no preferential orientation, and the magnetization exhibits no definite anisotropy. Grain size in the films increases as X increases, reaching $0.87[\mu{m}]$ at X=0.26.

  • Through the fatigue test of plastic gears using polyacetal polymer, this research aims at providing basic data for not only specifying operation conditions of plastic gears, but also designing dimensions of plastic gears with giving fatigue life and the estimated equation of fatigue life of plastic gears. That is, from the fatigue life curves, the estimated equation of fatigue life of plastic gears is taken out. For the estimated equation of fatigue life of plastic gears, this research provides two test methods; one is preserving non-limited temperature of tooth flank, the other is preserving limited temperature of tooth flank. As results, how the temperature of tooth flank affects the fatigue life is shown. In addition, based on the endurance limit, the essential factors of the unit load and K-factor are determined, which are needed in the design of gear by bending strength and surface durability.

첨가제를 포함한 TMA포접화합물의 열물성에 관한 기초적 연구 (A Basic Study on Thermal Properties of TMA Clathrate with Additives)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the propriety of TMA clathrate as a cold storage medium. Particularly, this is to examine the extent of subcooling improvement when the additives are added to the TMA clathrate, because water used cold storage material has low phase change temperature and subcooling. This study has been analysed and compared with TMA 30 wt% clathrate how phase change temperature, subcooling and specific heat in the various concentrations are changed. This results view to be improved phase change temperature and subcooling of TMA 30 wt% as a cold storage medium, when it had some additive. Additional1y, it is found that the additive must be controlled under available solution limit and study for new additive must be lasted to know its effect.

  • This paper describes analysis of transformer sheet winding losses and temperature rise. Sheet windings are used if transformer rating currents are so high that one meets current density limit on windings. Unlike stranded windings, sheet windings may be locally healed due to R direction flux. Winding losses with eddy current effect are calculated by finite element electromagnetic analysis and temperature rise is also calculated by Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) with loss result.

  • PURPOSES : This study is to develop a method to evaluate lubrication of asphalt binder using WMA additives and compare their lubrication effects on two types of WMA additives and three types of asphalt film thicknesses. METHODS : This study is based on laboratory experiments and rheological analysis of the experimental results. Testing materials are aggregate diskes, asphalt, and WMA additives. The main testing method is stress sweep test by using dynamic shear rheometer (DSR). RESULTS : Sasobit gives more lubrication effects on film thicknesses 0.2mm and under but LEADCAP does on film thicknesses over 0.3mm. CONCLUSIONS : LVE-Limit is a better parameter to discern the lubrication effects on the thin film asphalt thickness. Both Sasobit and LEADCAP WMA additives provide effective lubrication at the compaction temperature.

PRESSURE DEPENDENCE OF THE CURIE TEMPERATURE IN MnAlGe

  • The pressure dependence of the Curie temperature was determined in 2-dimensional like ferromagnet, MnAlGe up to a maximum pressure of 7.5 Gpa through measurements of electric resistance vs temperature curves. The pressure coefficient was positive with a considerably high rate of 9 K/GPa in the low pressure ragion, while it decreased gradually down to one order of magnitude smaller value at the maximum pressure. It was concluded that ther is an upper limit of about 550 K in the super-exchange type ferromagnetic interaction between Mn layers.

  • In recent decades, climate change has become an issue of global importance. The calcium sulfoaluminate (CSA) cement emits lower CO2 than the Portland cements while manufacturing. However, ettringite, which is a main hydration product of CSA cement, starts dehydrating at a temperature above 100℃, hence it may limit the CSA cement for high temperature application. Recently, an early carbonation curing of cement-based material has been extensively studied in terms of carbon neutralization. The carbonation curing of CSA cement has a potential to transform the AFt and AFm phases into calcium carbonate, and the transformation of unstable hydrates to stable hydrates can increase the resistance to elevated temperature. This review study summarizes and discusses the carbonation curing effect of CSA cement and the thermal stability of CSA cement exposed to elevated temperatures.

SA 516-70 압력용기용강의 저온피로 크랙전파 특성에 관한 연구 (Fatigue Crack Propagation Characteristics in SA 516-70 Steel for Pressure Vessels at Low Temperature)

  • Fatigue crack propagation rates and characteristics of the SA516-70 steel which is used for the low temperature pressure vessels, were studied in the room temperature of $10^{\circ}C$ and low temperature ranges of $-10^{\circ}C,\;-30^{\circ}C,\;-50^{\circ}C,\;and\;-70^{\circ}C$ with stress ratio of R=0.05. The obtained experimental results are as follows; 1) In the logarithmic relationship between the fatigue crack propagation rate(da/dN) and stress intensity factor K, the linear relationship was obtained up to da/dN > $8{\times}10^3$ mm/cycle in the same of room temperature, but in low temperature case, the relationship was extended to the range of low crack propagation rate. 2) The lower limit stress intensity factor of SA516-70 ${\Delta}K_{th}\;was\;23MPa\sqrt{m}$ and in the case of low temperature $-50^{\circ}C\;and\;-70^{\circ}C$, the crack propagation rate da/dN which showed a linear relation, reached rapidly to the ${\Delta}K_{th}$. As the results, the crack propagation rates of $-50^{\circ}C\;and\;-70^{\circ}C$ were lower than that of room temperature and according to the testing temperature the rates were decreased rapidly to the ${\Delta}K_{th}$. 3) On the relationship between the stress intensity factor ${\Delta}K$ and the track propagation cycle, the stress intensity factors of low cycle region was rapidly increased at low temperature, but ${\Delta}K$ was increased rapidly at room temperature of high cycle. 4) On the relationship between the fatigue crack propagation rate and cycle, the fatigue crack propagation rate showed higher gradient in the room temperature than the low temperature due to the increment in ductility at low temperature.
