In this paper, we designed a 2-stage CMOS operational amplifier with temperature compensation function using 2-poly 4-metal 0.35 $\mu$m standard CMOS technology. Using two bias circuits, the positive temperature coefficient(PTC) and the negative temperature coefficient(NTC) of the bias circuit are canceled out each other. When reference current circuit is simulated that it has a temperature coefficient of -150 ppm/$^{\circ}C$ with a temperature change from 0 $^{\circ}C$ to 120 $^{\circ}C$. Also the proposed circuit has a temperature coefficient of -0.011 dB/$^{\circ}C$ of DC open loop gain with the same temperature range.
$Al-SiC_{p}$ composite layer was prepared by plasma thermal spray on aluminum substrate. The homogeneously dispersed composite powder for thermal spray was fabricated by mechanical alloying with ball mill. The friction tests of the composite layers and commercial aluminum alloys for comparison were performed in the temperature range of 20∼$260^{\circ}C$ with the interval of $40^{\circ}C$ with steel counter-face. Friction coefficient was recorded during test sequence, and the microstructure of surface and debris was investigated by optical and scanning electron microscope. Friction coefficients of composite and aluminum alloys at room temperature were similar except pure aluminum. As the temperature increase, friction coefficient was increased rapidly in AC4C, AC2A. But friction coefficient of $Al-SiC_{p}$ composite was not increased so much up to $220^{\circ}C$. Consequently, the reinforcement of $SiC_{p}$ into aluminum matrix increased the stability of friction coefficient as well as wear resistance.
A shake-flask method was used to determine the n-octanol/water partition coefficients of sulfamethazine, sulfadimethoxine, sulfamethoxydiazine, sulfamonomethoxine, sulfamethoxazole, sulfaquinoxaline and sulfachloropyrazine from (298.15 to 333.15) K. The results showed that the n-octanol/water partition coefficient of each sulfonamide decreased with the increase of temperature. Based on the fluid phase equilibrium theory, the thermodynamic relationship of n-octanol/water partition coefficient depending on the temperature is proposed, and the changes of enthalpy, entropy, and the Gibbs free energy function for sulfonamides partitioning in n-octanol/ water are determined, respectively. Sulfonamides molecules partitioning in n-octanol/water is mainly an enthalpy driving process, during which the order degrees of system increased. The temperature effect coefficient of n-octanol/water partition coefficient is discussed. The results show that its magnitude is the same as that of values in the literature.
Experimental and numerical studies were performed to examine the effect of material temperature and reduction ratio on friction coefficient during hot flat rolling. We carried out a single pass pilot hot flat rolling test at the temperatures range of $900{\sim}1200^{\circ}C$ and measured the spread of deformed material while reduction ratio varied from 20% to 40%. Materials used in this study were a high carbon steel and two alloy steels. The dimension of specimen used in hot rolling experiment was $50mm{\times}50mm{\times}300mm$. We performed a series of finite element simulation of the hot rolling process to compute the friction coefficient change in terms of steel grade and reduction ratio. Results showed that temperature dependency of friction coefficient is not noteworthy but the effect of reduction ratio on friction coefficient is quite large. For high carbon steel, friction coefficient at reduction ratio of 30% is lower than that at that of 20%. Meanwhile friction coefficient at reduction ratio of 40% was one and half times large compared with that at that of 20%. The effect of steel grade on friction coefficient was significant when reduction ration was large, e.g., 40%.
Present study was undertaken to investigate the effects of composition ratio and temperature on the friction and wear of PTFE-polyimide composites under the atmosphere of nitrogen gas. The load range was 0.62-3.46 MPa, and the temperature range was room temperature and 200$^{\circ}$C. To mention some of the notable results, friction coefficient of PTFE 100% varied relatively little within the given load and temperature ranges. Polyimide 100% showed the lowest friction coefficient of 0.06 at 200$^{\circ}$C among all the experiments. PTFE 80%-polyimide 20% showed the lowest wear factors on the whole. Friction coefficient of PTFE 20%-polyimide 80% varied from the highest 0.35 to the lowest 0.09 among all the materials at room temperature, and showed almost the same lowest values with polyimide 100% at 200$^{\circ}$C. Suggestion of friction and wear mechanisms of the materials was tried to explain the observed phenomena including above mentioned results.
The friction characteristic of plastics (PTFE, Nylon, Acetal and phenolic) was studied on the lubricated condition with a pin on disk machine. Mineral oil without additive (base oil) and water were used as liquid lubricants at the controlled temperature. From the experimental work, it was found out that the coefficient of friction of plastics was controlled by the mechanical properities of plastic more than that of liquid for various load and temperature. Viscosity of liquid has affected on the friction only at low temperature under lighb load. Among the tested plastics, the coefficient of friction of PTFE was the lowest under light load and at low temperature while Nylon at medium load and temperature, and Acetal at heavy load and high temperature. The coefficient of friction of soft plastics like PTFE and Nylon were increased as the load and temperature were increased, while that of hard plastic (Acetal) was decreased and that of thermo setting plastic (phenolic) was mixed. Also for soft plastics, the coefficient of friction under heavy load was always higher than that under light load, while hard plastic was vice versa.
In this study, an approach designed to compute high temperature friction coefficients for SCM 435 steel through a pilot hot rolling test and a finite element analysis, is proposed. Single pass pilot hot flat rolling tests with reduction ratios varying from 20 to 40% were carried out at temperatures ranging from 900 to $1200^{\circ}C$. In the proposed approach, the friction coefficient is calculated by comparing the measured strip spread and the roll force with the simulation results. This study showed that the temperature and reduction ratio had a significant influence on the friction coefficient. As both material temperature and reduction ratio become higher, the friction coefficient increases monotonically. This finding is not in agreement with the Ekelund model, which is widely used in the analysis of the hot rolling process. In the present work, the friction coefficient at a reduction ratio of 40% was found to be 1.2 times greater than that at a reduction of 30%. This higher friction coefficient means that an increment of the roll thrust force is expected at the next stand. Therefore, a roll pass designer must understand this phenomenon in order to adjust the reduction ratio at the stands while keeping the driving power, the roll housing structure and the work roll strength within the allowable range.

The temperature difference between die and workpiece has frequently caused various surface defects. The non-homogeneous temperature distribution of forged part should be analyzed to prevent the generation of various defects related with the temperature. The surface temperatures were mainly affected by the coefficient of thermal contact conductance. The precise coefficient is necessary to predict accurately the temperature changes of die and workpiece. The experiment is preformed to measure the temperature distribution of die and workpiece in closed die upsetting. And then, the coefficient is classified into function of pressure and confirmed by the comparison between experiments and FE analyses using the other model. The FE analysis to predict the temperature distribution is performed by commercial software $DEFORM-3D^{TM}$. However, it might be impossible to measure directly the temperature distribution of forged part. Therefore, the comparisons between measured temperature and predicted values are performed with the hardness of Al6061-forged part.
This study was performed to calculate the degration rate coefficient, operating parameters to meet the effluent standards, and the temperature adjustment coefficients to each parameter of pollution by seasonal variation of concentration and temperature of influent in livestock wastewater treatment by sequencing batch reactor process in field scale. The followings are the conclusions that were derived from this study. 1. In the field, temperature of livestock wastewater in reactor was 20.3$\circ$C in summer and 6.0$\circ$C in winter. The ratio of BOD:TKN: T-P in influent was 100:80:7. BOD loadings in winter and spring were 0.26 and 0.43 kg $BOD/m^3$ day, respectively. Those in summer and fall were 0.25 and 0.13 kg $BOD/m^3$ day, respectively. 2. The degradation rate coefficient for TKN was larger in summer and fall in which temperature was high than that in which temperature was high than that in winter and spring in which concentration was high. On the contrary, the phosphorus uptake rate was larger in winter and spring than that in summer and fall. 3. The hydraulic retention time in winter and spring was longer than that in summer and fall. Especially, in order to meet the standard for TKN of 120 mg/l in winter in which temperature of wastewater was 6.0$\circ$C, as the MLSS concentration was increased from 4, 000 to 7, 000 mg/l, the hydraulic retention time was increased from 212 to 121 hours. But, in order to shorten that less than 121 hours for the economical wastewater treatment, countermeasure to increase temperature of wastewater in the reactor should be considered. 4. the temperature adjustment coefficients for BOD, $COD_{Mn}$, TKN and T-P were 1.0241, 1.0225, 1.0541 and 1.0495, respectively. Namely, the treatment of TKN was most sensitively affected by temperature. For the purpose of the effective removal of nitrogen and phosphorus which are sensitive to temperature, it is necessary to keep the temperature of livestock wastewater more than 20$\circ$C which is the temperature of it in summer.
Temperature was considered to estimate the minimum detectable absorption coefficient of aerosol particles from photothermal spectroscopy. Light energy absorbed by subsequent emission from the aerosol results in the heating of the aerosol sample and consequently causes a temperature change as well as changes in thermodynamic parameters of the sample. This thermal effect is the basis of photothermal spectroscopy. Photothermal spectroscopy has several types of techniques depending on how the photothermal effects are detected. Photothermal interferometry traces the photothermal effect, refractive index, using an interferometer. Photoacoustic spectroscopy detects the photothermal effect, sound wave, using a microphone. In this study, it is suggested that the detection limit for photothermal spectroscopy can be influenced by the introduction of a slip correction factor when the light absorption is determined in a high temperature environment. The minimum detectable absorption coefficient depends on the density, the specific heat and the temperature, which are thermodynamic properties. Without considering the slip correction, when the temperature of the environment is 400 K, the minimum detectable absorption coefficient for photothermal interferometry increases approximately 0.3% compared to the case of 300 K. The minimum detectable absorption coefficient for photoacoustic spectroscopy decreases only 0.2% compared to the case of 300 K. Photothermal interferometry differs only 0.5% point from photoacoustic spectroscopy. Thus, it is believed that photothermal interferometry is reliably comparable to photoacoustic spectroscopy under 400 K.
