  • This study developed the planning process for technical management of engineering project applying systems engineering process in order to correctly design technical management activities early during the system development projects. The developed process describes a systemic design process of a product to be developed as well as the development process and the personnel team of project organization. As an outcome of the process implemented by a Model-Based Systems Engineering(MBSE) software, a systems engineering management plan(SEMP) and a risk management plan can easily be produced.

  • National technical qualification does not recognised degree of working-career in labor market and an industrial field situation. National qualification is supply to nurture expert manpower and accomplish of self-development and a duty accomplishment ability improvement at a side of personal. So, This study is purposed to find that a method for recognition of working-career on the national technical qualification system According to, this study is designed to questionnaire with BSC(Balaced ScoreCard), SEM(Structure Equation Model) with the delphi method, and is analysed using the AMOS 7.0 program package. Finally, This study is suggested growing to qualification standard for an examination a degree of master craftsman only under the change of national qualification systematization as a standard to operation and control.

  • The Emergence of german mechanical engineer group is related to the development of polytechnical schools which were founded by the german state governments. Following the model of vienna polytechnical schools, the german polytechnical schools aimed also to educate engineers for private industries. For this purpose, the practices and workshop experiences were more emphasized than the theoretical education. With the further industrialization, the demand for higher educated engineers grew, and the level of theories taught in the polytechnical schools approached to that of university. On the base of mathematicalization of technical and mechanical knowledge, the professors of polytechnical schools succeeded in the establishment of Technische Hochschule which ranked as university. The german mechanical engineers could differentiate themselves from the traditional technicians with the establishment of polytech schools and Technische Hochschule.

  • In this paper, we developed a DTV RF (Radio frequency) capture, analysis, and regeneration system adapting digital signal processing and high speed hard disk interfacing techniques and analyzed characteristics of captured RF signal. This system can be used in the various field of DTV transmission because this system can capture the receiving real DTV signals and analyze captured RF signals that contain the complex characteristics of the real-world RF environments and regenerate it in a laboratory without the performance degradation. The system can capture and replay the DTV RF signals in real-time on hard disk. Therefore, there is no limit for the amount of captured data with in the installed storage capacity. We can expect various possible applications for this system such as a tool for the development of the receiver performance analysis, design, and analysis for the DTV coverage areas, etc. This system can also be used as RF signal analyzer.

  • For the implementation of CE(Concurrent Engineering), the TDMS(Technical Document Management System) which integrates design and manufacuring information, is required. In this paper a drawing information management system, one of the essential modules for the TDMS has been developed. The system is operated in SUN SPARC II workstations. A CAD software called CIMCAD-2D is used for the storage and management of drawings. Relational DBMS ORACLE is used for the development of information data bases concerned with drawings. As an integration tool, the multi-media software called LINKAGE is used. Various functions for drawings and concerned information have been developed with the internal language CIMSHELL and SQL $^*PLUS$.

  • At Present, high-quality paper finishes are obtained by the exclusive un of supercalenders and softcalenders. Experience has shown that both calendering processes will not always k able to meet future requirements of increased efficiency combined with improved paper finish. The answer to these challenges is the development of a new technology, a synergy of supercalender and soft-calender called the “Janus concept”. This paper outlines the rationale behind this new development as well in the technical characteristics providing for the successful online integration irrespective of production speed. Laboratory results are included ta demonstrate that the Janus Concept enables a high-quality SC finish even at PM or CM speeds.

  • The authors congratulate the cerebrations for the 30 years of the Korean Society of Medical Physics (http://www.ksmp.or.kr/). The paper is published to recognize the anniversary. Geon-Ho Jahng invited Professor Z. H. Cho to join to submit this manuscript because he has been one of the leaders in the field of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) during the last 40 years. In this review, we describe the development and clinical histories of MRI internationally and domestically. We also discuss diffusion and perfusion MRI, molecular imaging using MRI and MR spectroscopy (MRS), and the hybrid systems, such as positron emission tomography-MRI (PET-MRI), MR-guided focused ultrasound surgery (MRgFUS), and MRI-guided linear accelerators (MRI-LINACs). In each part, we discuss the historical evolution of the developments, technical developments, and clinical applications.
