In this paper, electronic ballast using double resonant inverter for 250[W] MHD lamp is designed and implemental Electronic ballast reduce a turn-onion loss by using ZVS(Zero Voltage Switching) technic in the double resonant inverter, and when circuit have an analysis, the characteristic evaluations is described generally by using the normalized i:ぉ used numerical analysis. We conform a rightfulness of theoretical analysis by experimental waveforms, rouble resonant inverter for 250[W]) MHD lamp is operated safely.

Background : We studied the effects of lumbar spinal root block (RB) prospectively in 21 patients who had suffered from low back pain with radiating pain even treated epidural steroid injection three times. Method : RB was performed under the fluoroscopic C-arm guide. When the needle was in correct position, we confirmed the needle placement and expected drug spreading by injection of contrast medium ($Isovist^{(R)}$-300, Sobering, Germany). Next 2% mepivacaine 1 ml mixed to 40 mg of Depomedrol was injected. Pain assessment was carried out 7 days after RB by numeric pain score regarding the pain just before RB was 10. Remained pain after RB was graded as excellent; 0-2, good; 3-5, bad; 6-8 and poor 9-10. Results : Mean age of the patients was 52.3 years. 38.1% and 47.6% of the patients showed excellent and goo dresults after RB, respectively. Conclusion : We concluded that RB is easy and safe procedure to perfirm and effective for the treatment of remnant pain following epidural steroid injection, especially in the patients who had spinal stenosis.

For lighting application, high-power LED nowadays is driven at 350mA and a sensing resistor is used to provide feedback for LED-current regulation. This method adds an IR drop at the output branch, and limits power efficiency as LED current is large and keeps increasing. In this paper, a power efficient LED-current sensing circuit is proposed. The circuit does not use any sensing resistor but extracts LED-current information from the output capacitor of the driver. Controlling the brightness of LEDs requires a driver that provides a constant, regulated current. In one case, the converter may need to step down the input voltage, and, in another, it may need to boost up the output voltage. These situations often arise in applications with wide-ranging ""dirty"" input power sources, such as automotive systems. And, the driver topology must be able to generate a large enough output voltage to forward bias the LEDs. So, to provide this requirements, 13W prototype Buck-Boost Converter is used.

We investigate characteristics of J-aggregation as take advantage of LB technic. In order to confirm the applications possible for the molecular electronic device, the morphological properties of merocyanine dye were investigated by AFM. ${\pi}-A$ curves investigated the surface pressure of the LB film from a liquid to a solid state ranged between 90 and 100 mN/m. We observed aggregation and it's characteristics by using visible reflection spectroscopy. We have observed morphology of merocyanine dye on gold surface by STM. focuses on results obtained in mercocyanide dye of J-aggregation. When LB films of merocyanine dye are mixed with arachidic acid, J-aggregate formation is exhibited. J-aggregate formation has been serving as typical systems in revealing the physical and structural aspects of nano-sized molecular aggregates constructed as muiltilayers.

This article introduces and briefly examines the Uniform Rules for Forfaiting (URF)(ICC Publication No. 800), which were prepared by a joint project of the Banking Commission of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the International Forfaiting Association (IFA), and became effective on January 1, 2013. Forfaiting is a kind of trade financing technic performed by way of a sale and purchase of payment claim between its seller and its buyer, the forfaiter, on a without recourse basis. URF is designed to facilitate global trade finance and embraces all the international payment instruments which are currently used and will be newly developed in the future. URF is expected to be a set of standardized terms and conditions for both the primary and secondary forfaiting markets. In this context, this article first looks into the concept of the forfaiting and certain features and structure of forfaiting transactions. Then this article moves to discussing URF itself. For this it examines (i) the nature and scope of URF and some important definitions provided in URF, (ii) some provisions of URF that apply to the delivery of documents to the forfaiter, the examination, and the acceptance or refusal, of such documents by the forfaiter, and (iii) the payment of purchase price by the forfaiter to its seller, including the matter of "payment under reserve" and repurchase by the seller from the forfaiter. Finally, this article examines liabilities of the parties concerned, before conclusion.

Purpose: This study was a descriptive research to provide fundamental data in ensuring a high quality of nursing service needed by children's parent according to perception of uncertainty and care satisfaction of them between pediatric outpatient department and emergency room. Methods: For this study, 192 children's parents were questioned in a general hospital located in Busan from August 1 to 31. 2009. The collected data were scored by use of frequencies, $x^2$ test, t-test, AONVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient via SPSS/WIN 17.0. Results: With the compare of characteristics related to children's parents visiting emergency room and pediatric outpatient department, there were statistically significant difference in relation and age of parent, main caregiver, cause of arrival, and waiting time from arrival to procedure. The perception of uncertainty for parent in the emergency room showed significant difference to outpatient department. In nursing service, the highest score was category of professional skill and technic. In addition, overall parents' perceptions on providing information showed lower than any other nursing service. Last but not least, a significant correlation indicated between the perception of uncertainty and satisfaction of nursing service. Conclusion: Efforts to improve parent satisfaction for nursing service are needed to decrease their perception of uncertainty. Providing information and communication by nurses are necessary to improve quality of nursing service.

Hyperspectral image is more increasing spectral resolution that Multi-spectral image. Because of that, each pixel of the hyperspectral image includes much more information and it is considered the most appropriate technic for land cover classification. but recent research of hyperspectral image is stayed land cover classification of general level. therefore we classified land cover of detail level using ED, SAM, SSS method and made Decision Tree from result of that. As a result, the overall accuracy of general level was improved by 1.68% and the overall accuracy of detail level was improved by 5.56%.

The purpose of this study was to compare acupuncture-like transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation(ALTENS) with conventional transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation(C-TENS) for crossover effect in healthy subjects. Forty subjects recieved ALTENS(20 persons), C-TENS(20 persons) to one upper extremity. Each technic was applied to the motor point of the wrist extensor muscle group for twenty-minutes. With the subject placed in supine the technics were applied at 80 Hz, 2-10 mA(ALTENS) and 10 Hz, 4-12 mA(C-TENS). Results revealed: (1) a significant difference between the pretreatment and posttreatment in each group(p<.05) (2) no significant difference between ALTENS and C-TENS(p>.05). In conclusion, there was no difference between ALTENS and C-TENS for crossover effect.

Optimization method for the open loop commutation time intervals in HDD spindle start-up control is presented in this paper. A hard disk drive(HDD) uses a sensorless brushless DC motor(BLDC) for the platter rotation. Because there is no direct sensor for the rotor position, open loop commutations after sensing the rotor position at a standstill using inductive sensing method are performed to speed up the rotor up to a certain speed where the zero crossings of the back electromotive force(EMF) are measurable. Therefore successful open loop commutations are necessary for the stable start-up control of the spindle motors. Random neighborhood search(RNS) algorithm is introduced as a optimization technic in this paper. Rotor speed and its standard deviation are used as a cost function and commutation intervals obtained from the spindle motion equation are used as initial parameter values for the RNS. With the help of the proposed method optimized open loop commutation time intervals for the very low start-up current are acquired and tested. The experimental results shows that the proposed method can decrease the start-up failure rate of a HDD spindle motor.
