SCM과 6 Sigma를 결합한 혁신 방법론 개발 (An Innovative Methodology Development of Combining SCM and 6 Sigma)

  • Samsung, recognized as a global leading company, has huge and complex supply chain structures and has been improving them continuously for its fast-growing global businesses. SCM 6 Sigma is the state-of-the-art methodology developed through a combination of SCM innovation concepts accumulated from SCM Business Group in Samsung SDS and 6 Sigma which has successfully settled down as the management innovation tool for many companies in Samsung. The ultimate goal of SCM 6 Sigma is to train and develop future supply chain leaders who are more capable of leading SCM innovations. By leveraging the established 6 Sigma Belt System, Samsung aims to alleviate a shortage of SCM talents that has been a bottleneck in improving SCM performances at its group companies. This explains why SCM 6 Sigma is created. SCM 6 Sigma is the unique and critical component for Samsung to implement its various strategies for continuous improvement of its operations at a higher level of effectiveness and systematically as well. In return on these efforts, many SCM innovation projects have been successfully executed through SCM 6 Sigma up to today. In this paper, we introduce the methodology and explain the business rationale behind it together with its deployment case.

신제품개발팀에서 사회적․과업 응집성과 기술혁신 성과간의 관계 : 팀 창의성 지원 풍토의 조절효과 (The Effects of Social․Task Cohesion on Technological Innovation in New Product Development Team: Moderating Role of Climate for Creativity Support to Team)

  • 팀 응집성은 양날의 검처럼 정적 부적 효과가 있다는 논쟁에도 불구하고, 실증 연구들은 팀 응집성의 긍정적 측면을 부각하였다. 본 연구는 팀 응집성을 관계를 강조하는 사회적 응집성과 과업을 강조하는 과업 응집성으로 구분하고, 창의적 긴장에 의해 창출되는 기술혁신 성과를 결과변수로 본다면, 팀 응집성의 정적 부적 효과에 대한 논쟁을 실증적으로 규명할 수 있다고 보았다. 또한 응집성은 동질성을 강조하므로, 다양한 사고를 촉진시키는 팀 창의성 지원 풍토는 사회적 응집성의 부적 효과를 완화시키고, 과업 응집성의 정적 효과를 강화시킬 것으로 보았다. 205개의 신제품개발팀들을 대상으로 설문조사한 결과, 기술혁신 성과에 대해 사회적 응집성의 부적 영향(${\beta}$=-.19, p<.01), 과업 응집성의 정적 영향(${\beta}$=.18, p<.05), 사회적 응집성과 팀 창의성 지원 풍토의 정적 상호작용효과(${\beta}$=.14, p<.10) 및 과업 응집성과 팀 창의성 지원 풍토의 정적 상호작용효과(${\beta}$=.16, p<.05)가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

전문병원의 성공요소 탐색 (An exploration of success factors for specialty hospitals in Korea)

  • In this article, three cases of speciality hospitals, Songdo hospital, Bucheon Sejong Hospital, and Wooridul Hospital, are described and analyzed. They have shown outstanding performances and have high reputations. Success factors are drawn out from the cases: innovative founder, technological innovation, team medicine, and customer satisfaction. Implications and limitations are discussed, and suggestions for the future studies are suggested.

Investigation of an Infrared Temperature Measurement System for Thermal Safety Verification of Plasma Skin Treatment Devices

  • In this paper, we developed a temperature measurement system based on an infrared temperature imaging module for thermal safety verification of a plasma skin treatment device (PSTD). We tested a pilot product of the low-temperature PSTD using the system, and the temperature increase of each plasma torch was well-monitored in real-time. Additionally, through the approximation of the temperature increase of the plasma torches, a certain limitation of the plasma treatment time on skin was established with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) guideline. We determined an appropriate plasma treatment time ($T_{Safe}$ < 24 minutes) using the configured temperature measurement system. We believe that the temperature measurement system has a potential to be employed for testing thermal safety and suitability of various medical devices and industrial instruments.

  • 과업 및 관계갈등의 차별적 효과에 대한 연구에 따르면, 과업갈등이 혁신적 성과에 긍정적 영향을 주는 반면, 관계갈등이 혁신적 성과에 부정적 영향을 준다고 주장하고 있다. 하지만, 과업갈등과 관계갈등 간의 밀접한 상호관련성을 고려해 본다면, 혁신적 성과에 긍정적 영향을 주는 과업갈등은 관계갈등으로 전이되면서, 혁신적 성과에 부정적 영향을 줄 수 있다. 따라서 과업갈등이 관계갈등으로 전이되는 것을 약화시키는 경영관리 방식이 필요하며, 개인이 보유한 사회 정체성이고, 팀에 대한 감정적 인지적 유대인 팀 정체화는 효과적인 갈등관리 방안일 수 있다. 본 연구는 213명의 종업원들을 통해 수집한 자료를 토대로, 이러한 논리가 기업현장에서 실제로 성립되고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 연구결과를 토대로 연구의 시사점과 향후 연구방향을 제시하였다.

ALD 장비의 Al2O3 공정 안정화를 위한 저온 트랩 장치의 특성 평가 (Characterizations of a Cold Trap System for the Process Stabilization of Al2O3 by ALD Equipment)

  • The application of the technology for forming Al2O3 thin films using ALD(atomic layer deposition) method is rapidly increasing in the semiconductor and display fields. In order to increase the efficiency of the ALD process in a mass production line, metallic by-products generated from the ALD process chamber must be effectively collected. By collecting by-products flowing out of the chamber with a cold trap device before they go to the vacuum pump, damage to the vacuum pump can be prevented and the work room can be maintained stably, resulting in increased process flow rate. In this study, a cold trap was installed between the ALD process chamber and the dry pump to measure and analyze by-products generated during the Al2O3 thin film deposition process. As a result, it was confirmed that Al and O elements were discharged, and the collection forms were two types: bulk and powder. And the binding energy peaked at 73.7 ~ 74.3 eV, the binding energy of Al 2p, and 530.7 eV, the binding energy of O 1s, indicating that the binding structure was Al-O.

공학교육에서의 팀 학습 운영 실태 분석 (Analysis of Current Status of Team Learning in Engineering Education)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the current status of team learning in engineering education. For this, literature review and survey were used. The survey was conducted with 16 professors and 627 students in engineering college. Based on the results, team should be organized in consideration of various characteristics and competencies for effective team learning activities in engineering education. And in the team learning operations, it is necessary to make the conditions for students to immerse in team learning through the activation of communication of team members, tightening management of free riding in team learning, and optimizing team learning period. It is necessary to use the team learning evaluation method in harmony with the team, individual and peer evaluation.
