The Design Cycle(TDC) 방법을 활용한 패션디자인 실습모형 개발 연구 -뎀나 바잘리아의 디자인 방법을 중심으로- (A Study on the Development of Fashion Design Practice Model Applying the Methodology of the Design Cycle -Focused on Demna Gvasalia's Design Method-)

  • This study investigated the design practice model based on the creative fashion designer's methodology in fashion education. 'The Design Cycle' was the criterion used to analyze the design method of Demna Gvasalia who is one of the outstanding contemporary designers. After that, this study's practice model was then developed and experimented to verify its effectiveness in design practice as based on Gvasalia's method where ready-to-wear products were firstly dissembled then re-constructed with new designs created based on re-constructed results. To test its effectiveness, a student oriented design workshop was held to extract design results through the practice model; in addition, the students also conducted a survey to evaluate the effectiveness of the method. According to the self-evaluation result, the participants generally accept the design efficiency through the distinctive process. An evaluation by three fashion experts was also conducted. Experts assessed that the model is recommendable for seniors having knowledges on 'Construction', it is appropriate to deal with the trickled-down copying trend that could promote student interest and generate separate results according to different visions. Therefore, it could be accepted that the applicability of this study's practice model was confirmed.

직접분사식 압축점화 디젤엔진의 연소 및 배기특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Combustion and Emission Characteristics in Compression Ignition CRDI Diesel Engine)

  • Recently it has been focused that the automobile engine has developed in a strong upward tendency for the use of the high viscosity and poorer quality fuels in achieving the high performance, fuel economy, and emission reduction. Therefore it is not easy to solve the problems between low specific fuel consumption and exhaust emission control at motor cars. In this study, it is designed and used the engine test bed which is installed with turbocharger and intercooler. In addition to equipped using CRDI by controlling injection timing with mapping modulator, it has been tested and analyzed the engine performance, combustion characteristics, and exhaust emission as operating parameters, and they were engine speeds(rpm), injection timing(bTDC), and engine load(%). From the result of an experimental analysis, peak cylinder pressure and the rate of pressure rise were increased, and the location of it was closer toward top dead center according to the increasing of engine speed and load, and with advancing injection timing. The combustion characteristics are effected by fuel injection timing due to be enhanced the mass burned fraction. Using the engine dynamometer for analyzing the engine performance, the engine torque and power have been enhanced according to advancing the fuel injection timing. In analyzing of exhaust emission, there has been a trade-off between PM and NOx with increasing of engine speed and load, and with advanced injection timing. The experimental data are shown that the formation of NOx has increased and PM, vice versa.

연소실 직접분사식 성층급기 가솔린기관 개발에 관한 연구 - 연료분사압력과 부하변동에 따른 연소특성 해석 - (A Study on Stratified Charge GDI Engine Development - Combustion Analysis according to the Variations of Injection Pressure and Load -)

  • In general, DI gasoline engine has the advantages of higher power output, higher thermal efficiency, higher EGR tolerance and lower emissions due to the operation characteristics of increased volumetric efficiency, compression ratio and ultra-lean combustion scheme. In order to apply the concept of stratified charge into direct injection gasoline engine, some kinds of methodologies have been adapted in various papers. In this study, a reflector was adapted around the injector nozzle to apply the concept of stratified charge combustion which leads the air-fuel mixture to be rich near spark plug. Therefore, the mixture near the spark plug is locally rich to ignite while the lean mixture is wholly introduced into the combustion chamber. The characteristics of combustion is analyzed with the variations of fuel injection pressure and load in a stratified -charge direct injection single cylinder gasoline engine. The obtained results are summarized as follows ; 1. The MBT spark timing approached to TDC with the increase of load on account of the increase of evaporation energy, but has little relation with fuel injection pressure. 2. The stratification effects are apparent with the increase of injection pressure. It is considered by the development of secondary diffusive combustion and the increase of heat release of same region, but proceed rapidly than diesel engine. Especially, in the case of high pressure injection (l70bar) and high load (3.0kgf m), the diffusive combustion parts are developed excessively and results in the decrease of peak pressure than in the case of middle load. 3. The index of engine stability, COVimep value, is drastically decreased with the increase of load. 4. To get better performance of DI gasoline engine development, staged optimizaion must be needed such as injection pressure, reflector, intake swirl, injection timing, chamber shape, ignition system and so on. In this study, the I50bar injection pressure is appeared as the optimum.

확장된 xUML을 사용한 MDA 기반 이종 임베디드 소프트웨어 컴포넌트 모델링에 관한 연구 (A Study on Modeling Heterogeneous Embedded S/W Components based on Model Driven Architecture with Extended xUML)

  • 본 논문에서는 MDA(Model Driven Architecture) 기반의 임베디드 소프트웨어 컴포넌트 개발 방법을 소개한다. 이 방법은 이종의 임베디드 시스템에서 소프트웨어의 재사용성에 관한 문제점을 해결하고자 MDA기법을 임베디드 소프트웨어 개발에 적응한 것이다. 제안한 방법을 통해 하나의 메타 모델(Target Independent Model)을 각각의 다른 도메인에 맞는 타겟 종속적 모델(Target Specific Model)들을 만들고, 그에 따른 소스 코드(Target Dependent Code)를 개발하는 것이다. 이때 기 개발된 메타모델은 이종의 임베디드 시스템 개발에 재사용하려는 것이 목적이다. 우리는 이 방법에 따른 도구에 기존 xUML의 동적 모델링에서 표현되지 못하는 부분(병렬성, 실시간 등)을 보완하기 위해 확장하여 채택하였다. 확장된 xUML 노테이션을 기반으로 구현한 모델링 도구를 소개한다. 이는 임베디드 또는 병렬/실시간 소프트웨어의 모델링이 가능하다. 제안한 방법의 적응사례로서 이종 임베디드 시스템의 모델링을 통한 필드 개발을 보여준다.

Analysis of Total Bacteria, Enteric Members of γ-proteobacteria and Microbial Communities in Seawater as Indirect Indicators for Quantifying Biofouling

  • In this study, total bacteria, enteric members of the $\gamma$-proteobacteria, and microbial communities in seawater were analyzed as indirect indicators for quantifying biofouling. Biomass in seawater can significantly affect feed water pretreatment and membrane biofouling of reverse osmosis desalination processes. The purpose of this paper is to investigate microbiological quantity and quality of seawater at the potential intake of a desalination plant. For this analysis, the total direct cell count (TDC) using 4'-6-diamidino-2-phenylindole (DAPI)-staining and DNA-based real-time PCR were used to quantify the total bacteria and relative content of enteric members of $\gamma$-proteobacteria in seawater, respectively. In addition, microbial communities were examined using 16S rRNA gene cloning and bacterial isolation to identify the most abundant bacteria for a further biofouling study. The experimental results of this study identified about $10^6$ cells/mL of (total) bacteria, $10^5$ 16S rRNA gene copies/mL of enteric $\gamma$-proteobacteria, and the presence of more than 20 groups of bacteria.

Suitability of Lactobacillus plantarum SPC-SNU 72-2 as a Probiotic Starter for Sourdough Fermentation

  • In sourdough fermentation, lactic acid bacteria perform important roles in the production of volatile and antimicrobial compounds, and exerting health-promoting effects. In this study, we report the probiotic properties and baking characteristics of Lactobacillus plantarum SPC-SNU 72-2 isolated from kimchi. This strain is safe to use in food fermentation as it does not carry genes for biogenic amine production (i.e., hdc, tdc, and ldc) and shows no β-hemolytic activity against red blood cells. The strain is also stable under simulated human gastrointestinal conditions, showing tolerance to gastric acid and bile salt, and adheres well to colonic epithelial cells. Additionally, this strain prevents pathogen growth and activates mouse peritoneal macrophages by inducing cytokines such as tumor necrosis factor-α, interleukin (IL)-6, and IL-12. Furthermore, the strain possesses good baking properties, providing rich aroma during dough fermentation and contributing to the enhancement of bread texture. Taken together, L. plantarum SPC-SNU 72-2 has the properties of a good starter strain based on the observation that it improves bread flavor and texture while also providing probiotic effects comparable with commercial strains.

LiDAR 시스템용 절대시간 측정을 위한 위상고정루프 기반 시간 디지털 변환기 설계 (Design of Phase Locked Loop (PLL) based Time to Digital Converter for LiDAR System with Measurement of Absolute Time Difference)

  • 본 논문은 절대 시간 측정 가능한 시간 디지털 변환기에 대한 논문으로 제안하는 시간 디지털 변환기는 0.18-um CMOS 공정을 이용하여 설계 되었고 IC로 제작하여 검증하였다. 설계된 시간 디지털 변환기는 라이다 시스템에 적용하기 위하여 긴 측정시간과 절대적인 50ps를 측정할 수 있어야하는데 위상고정루프의 625MHz 클록을 기준클록으로 사용하기 때문에 절대시간의 측정이 가능하며 디지털 보정회로를 이용하여 어떤 상황에서 든 50ps의 분해능을 가질 수 있다. 기준클록을 카운터하여 큰 시간 단위의 측정을 할 수 있어 최대 800ns의 시간이 측정가능하고 딜레이 체인을 이용하여 정밀한 시간 값을 측정 할 수 있다. 결과적으로 제작된 시간 디지털 변환기는 50ps 단위로 시간을 측정할 수 있는데 최대 오차는 INL 0.8-LSB정도이며 1.8V 인가전압에 전력 소모는 약 70mW 정도이다.

가솔린과 LPG 예혼합 압축 착화 엔진의 노킹 특성 (Knock Characteristic Analysis of Gasoline and LPG Homogeneous Charge Compression Ignition Engine)

  • The knock characteristics in an engine were investigated under homogeneous charge compression ignition (HCCI) operation. Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG)and gasoline were used as fuels and injected at the intake port using port fuel injection equipment. Di-methyl ether (DME) was used as an ignition promoter and was injected directly into the cylinder near compression top dead center (TDC). A commercial variable valve timing device was used to control the volumetric efficiency and the amount of internal residual gas. Different intake valve timingsand fuel injection amounts were tested to verify the knock characteristics of the HCCI engine. The ringing intensity (RI) was used to define the intensity of knock according to the operating conditions. The RI of the LPG HCCI engine was lower than that of the gasoline HCCI engine at every experimental condition. The indicated mean effective pressure (IMEP) dropped when the RI was over 0.5 MW/m2and the maximum combustion pressure was over 6.5MPa. There was no significant relationship between RI and fuel type. The RI can be predicted by the crank angle degree (CAD) at 50 CA. Carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbon (HC) emissions were minimized at high RI conditions. The shortest burn duration under low RI was effective in achieving low HC and CO emissions.

커먼레일 엔진에서 노킹 진단 알고리즘 구현 및 OBD-II 진단기 S/W 설계 방안 (Implement of Knocking diagnostic algorithm and design of OBD-II Diagnostic system S/W on common-rail engine)

  • 국내외의 배출가스 규제 강화에 부합하기위하여, 사용자 의도에 따른 연료 분사시기와 분사량 조절이 가능한 커먼레일 ECU를 제어할 수 있는 알고리즘 개발의 필요에 따라서 본 논문에서는 커먼레일 엔진 전용 ECU에 적용할 수 있는 노킹 판별 및 엔진 밸런스 보정이 가능한 노킹 진단 알고리즘을 구현하여 시뮬레이터로 개발하였다. 또한 운전자가 직접 차량을 진단하는 운전자 중심의 진단 서비스를 제공하고자 시뮬레이터의 결과를 OBD-II 표준에 의거하는 차량 위주의 진단기로 개발하고자 한다. 이를 위해 자동차 고장진단 신호 및 센서 출력 신호를 송수신하는 유선 시스템과 무선 시스템인 블루투스 모듈을 이용하여 실시간 통신이 제공될 수 있는 OBD-II 진단기 S/W 설계방안을 제안함으로써 차량의 연비향상 및 유해가스 저감을 통한 엔진의 효율성 향상을 실현하도록 한다.

디지털 위상고정루프의 시스템 모델링 및 검증 방법 소개 (Introduction to System Modeling and Verification of Digital Phase-Locked Loop)

  • 위상고정루프에 대해 선형 위상-도메인 모델링을 진행하여 시스템의 안정성을 고려한 각 블록의 설계 매개 변수들을 설정한 이후 빠른 동작 특성을 확인하기 위해 Verilog-HDL 기반의 모델링을 수행할 수 있다. 이때 단순한 동작 특성뿐 아니라 위상잡음 및 비선형 특성까지 모델링에 반영할 수 있는데, 본 논문에서는 디지털-시간 변환기(DTC)의 비선형 특성 및 디지털 조정 발진기(DCO)의 위상잡음 모델링을 추가로 소개한다. 동작 모델을 사용하여 시스템 레벨의 설계를 마치면 시간-도메인 영역에서 과도 응답 시뮬레이션을 진행하여 설계 타당성을 확인할 수 있으며, 출력 신호 결과를 위상잡음 그래프로 나타내어 이를 이상적인 위상잡음 그래프와 비교함으로써 동작과 성능에 대한 검증이 가능함을 나타내었다. 시간-도메인 영역에서 시뮬레이션 소요시간 비교를 위해 TSMC 0.18-㎛ 공정을 사용한 아날로그 위상고정루프의 설계 결과와 비교하였으며, 6 us의 과도 응답 해석을 진행했을 때 1.43초로 트랜지스터 레벨의 아날로그 설계 방식(692초) 대비 484배 빠른 시뮬레이션 시간을 나타내었다.
