보육시설에서의 "학예발표회"에 대한 질적 분석 (A Qualitative Analysis of "The Children's Talent Show" at Child Care Centers)

  • This study approaches the children's talent show performed at child care centers from the perspective of critical pedagogy in order to investigate its social, economic, and political context. Two child care centers where children's talent show are opened annually were selected as a sample. A qualitative study was conducted by collecting data from participant observation and interviews with the children, teacher, parents, and principles at the selected centers. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. The children's talent show played a role as a business tool for managing the child care center in terms of such functions as recruitment of new children and promotion of the institute, rather than simply being the result of demand from the children and parents. Consequently, the children and parents appear to be passive participants in the talent show by partially accepting the positive views thus generated without expressing disagreement with these views. This study suggest the need for a general debate regarding the planning and execution of events at child care centers.

융합지향 조직 구축을 위한 융합인재 측정 도구 개발 (Developing an Instruments to Measure the Convergence Talent: Building Convergence-oriented Organizations in South Korea)

  • This study aims to examine validity and reliability of the convergence talent measurement. Based on the comprehensive literature review on convergence and convergence talent, we draw 4 main competencies (convergence cognitive, accomplishment, problem solving, and attitude) and 10 critical aspects (creative thinking, critical thinking, cooperation, communication, problem-solving, knowledge accessibility, resource utilization, trust, openness, caring) for building an effective convergence-oriented organization. A validity and reliability test survey were conducted for the analysis to investigate the convergence talent scale. With a data of 151 employees in diverse companies, the results show that the factors demonstrated acceptable levels of validity and reliability. The empirical evidences of our study are 10 key aspects comprising four main dimensions which suggest an available scale for measuring the convergent talent for enhancing convergence-oriented organizations. Our research contributes to the expansion of academic and practical implications on convergence, especially in convergence-oriented organizations.

The Effect of Entrepreneurial Orientation and Talent Management on Business Performance of the Creative Industries in Indonesia

  • This study aims to develop a concept based on empirical research on improving optimal business performance. This goal is achieved by examining the relationship between variables of entrepreneurial orientation, talent management, market orientation, and business performance. The construction of the relationship between research variables, namely entrepreneurial orientation, talent management, on business performance is mediated by market orientation on handicraft businesses in Indonesia. The sampling method was used to collect data from 145 businessmen in Indonesia, using surveys and questionnaires. Data was collected using a survey technique carried out from June 2020 to December 2020. The data obtained was analyzed using the PLS Pro 19. This study developed 9 hypotheses that were tested directly, indirectly, and through mediation. This study has five findings. First, Entrepreneurship Orientation does not directly affect Business Performance. Second, Entrepreneurship Orientation also has a significant direct effect on Talent Management and market orientation. Third, Talent Management and market orientation have a direct and significant impact on business performance. Fourth, market orientation mediates the effect of entrepreneurial orientation on business performance. Fifth, talent management mediates the effect of entrepreneurial orientation on business performance. The results show that entrepreneurial orientation mediated by talent management and market orientation can improve creative industry business performance for the better.

일본의 과학 영재교육 (Scientific Talent Education in Japan)

  • The purpose of this study is to show the way of teaching the scietific talent in Japan. This study was conducted only by the printed matters. The results of the investigation are as follows: 1. Japan at present has neither systems nor laws for offical scientific talent education. 2. Japanese's scientific knowledge and way of rational thinking had been widespread among the general public by elementary education from one hundred ten years or so ago. 3. In addition, the instrument subjects such as foreign language and mathematics were well educated in the elementary and secondary school level and the preparatory courses of college. 4. Especially, the third and the first preparatory courses of a college(Daisan Koukou and Daiitchi Koukou) and Kyoto University have contributed greatly to the cultivation of liberal spirit in education, which turned out to be one of the essential elements for scientific talent education.

Determinants of Talent Retention in Textile and Garment Companies in Binh Duong Province

  • This study investigates determinants of talent retention in textile and garment companies located in Vietnam's Binh Duong province to propose feasible actions for their sustainable development in the current context of competition on the labor market. This study uses self-completed questionnaires to collect data which are then analysed with statistical methods including scale reliability, exploratory factor analysis, and multiple linear regression. Specifically, results from an official survey of 129 people who are regarded as talents in related companies show that there are ten determinants, ranked in descending order of their importance, including: working environment; training and promotion opportunities; salary and benefits; personal loyalty; relationship with colleagues; nature of work; organizational recognition; type of ownership; relationship with superiors; and working experience. Moreover, it is also found that foreign companies are better in retaining their talents than private domestic ones. These findings suggest that, depending on their available resources, organizations need to focus on some of these factors to improve their talent retention; among them, it is critical to provide creative space or create conductive working environment by providing talents with proper tools and equipment for them to feel excited with their work and get things done in an optimal, efficient and effective manner.

China's Brain Gain at the High End: An Assessment of Thousand Youth Talents Program

  • While studies have viewed the effect of Chinese talent-attracting programs launched by government since reform and open door policy, little of them has assessed these programs empirically and pertinently. This article intends to assess an important program - the Thousand Youth Talents Program (TYTP). Frist, this paper proposed a transnational migration matrix of the academics to clarify the dynamic mechanism of academic brain gain at the high end. Then, the Kaplan-Meier analysis and Cox regression model are used to empirically analyze the policy effect of TYTP. The results show that, academic ability have double edged impacts on brain gain at the high end, some scholars whose last employer's academic ranking is world's Top100 have stronger willing to return, and the negative effect of academic ranking decreases with time passing; while scholars with a tenure-track position, a tenure position or a permanent position tend to stay overseas, and the hazard rate of staying increases with age. The older scholars have more intentions to go back China, while gender was not a significant factor influencing academic return at the high end. That is, the talent-attracting programs has partly succeeded in bringing back the academics at the high end.

스포츠영재성 검사 항목과 코스타스 점수간의 연관성 분석 (Association analysis between sports talent test scores and KOSTASS scores)

  • 이 연구에서는 최근 체육영재선정에 공통적으로 사용되고 있는 스포츠영재성 검사 항목과 코스타스 점수간의 연관성 분석을 통해 상대적으로 중요한 검사 항목과 그렇지 않은 검사 항목을 통계적으로 밝혀내는 데 목적이 있다. 이 연구를 위해 2010년도 서울지역 (강동구, 송파구, 노원구, 광진구 등)과 경기지역 (의정부시, 가평군, 구리시 등) H대학 체육영재양성사업에 지원한 201명의 초등학교 학생들의 자료가 사용되었으며, 육상 네 종목 (투척, 도약, 단거리, 중장거리), 수영 및 체조 종목의 코스타스 점수와 1차 스포츠영재성 검사에서 얻은 기본 체격, 체력 운동능력, 생리적 기능 정보를 이용하였다. 구체적으로 순수한 연관성 분석을 위해 피어슨상관계수와 편상관계수를 사용하였으며, 중요한 검사 항목 선택을 위해 단계적 회귀분석을 이용하였다. 그 결과 골연령, 체중, 흉위와 50m달리기, 하프스쿼트점프가 6개 코스타스 점수에 미치는 영향이 상대적으로 미약한 것으로 나타났다.

Industry 4.0 동향과 문제점에 관한 연구 - 고용문제를 중심으로 - (A Study on Trend Analysis and Issues of Industry 4.0 - Employment Issues -)

  • Based on reviewing the literature and statistical year books on current projects that are targeting Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory, this paper aims to show concepts of Industry 4.0, and Smart Factory. Also it shows 5 projects for Industry 4.0 led by governments that worry over their low employment and productivity in main industrialized countries: Germany, China, Japan, the USA, and Korea. In addition it presents some problems which are very important but easy to be overlooked, especially on employment, and it makes three suggestions to solve employment problems. First, government should tax the profit which a company makes on reducing workers in spite of a high rate of profit through technology innovation. Second, to help small businesses to last longer, government should link major companies and small companies. Third, government, academic circles and the industrial world should take part in configuring consortia like American "Industry talent Consortium" to cultivate IT Talent.

<창조 101> 프로그램의 아이돌 양성 모식 분석 (The Analysis of the "Idol Nurture" Pattern of the PRODUCE 101 Program)

  • <창조 101>은 중국 텐센트가 한국 <프로듀스 X 101> 프로그램의 제작권을 매입하여 만든 리얼리티 예능 프로그램이다. 이 프로그램은 양성 대상의 미완성성, 양성 목표의 지향성, 과정의 성장성, 결정자의 국민성 등 네 가지 특징을 가지고 있다. 기획사에서 연습생을 키우는 과정을 프로그램을 통해 연습생 개인의 후면영역(back region)과 연예계의 후면영역을 전면영역(front region)으로 전환시켜 대중들에게 공개하였다. 이는 시청자들에게 기분 전환(diversion), 대인관계(personal relation) 유지와 자아 인정(personal identity) 등 효용 가치가 있으므로 주목과 인기를 많이 얻었다. 이러한 아이돌 양성 프로그램은 오디션 리얼리티 예능 프로그램의 발전에 좋은 귀감을 제공해 주었다.

IT 전문직 근로자의 교육훈련 적정성과 조직몰입간의 관계에 대한 연구: 조직신뢰와 인재우대의 조절효과 (A Study on the Relationship Between Appropriateness of Education/Training for IT Professionals and Organizational Commitment: Moderating Effects of Top Talents Management and Organizational Trust)

  • 고도의 전문적 지식, 기술, 능력을 갖춘 전문직 근로자들은 기업의 지속적 경쟁우위의 원천으로, 이들에 대한 조직 내 육성은 기업들의 중요한 과제로 인식되고 있다. 본 연구는 전문직 근로자들에게 주어지는 교육훈련의 조직몰입 효과를 일차적으로 검증하며, 이들 관계를 보다 정적으로 강화시킬 수 있는 요인으로 조직신뢰와 핵심인재우대를 조절변수로서 분석하였다. 본 연구는 직업능력개발원의 인적자본 기업패널자료 3차년도 데이터(2009년) 중 IT 및 소프트웨어 분야의 전문직이 응답한 설문자료만을 분석대상으로 삼았으며, 그 결과 교육훈련의 적정성이 조직몰입에 미치는 영향에 대해서는 긍정적인 영향이 있는 것으로 파악되었으며, 두 가지 조절변수 검증에 있어서는 인재우대에 대한 변수에서는 긍정의 강한 조절효과를 보였으나, 조직신뢰에 대해서는 조절효과가 검증되지 않아 기각되었다. 이상의 연구결과를 바탕으로 연구의 논의와 시사점을 제시하였다.
