The blenniid fish, Entomacrodus stellifer light(Herre) is distributed in the coastal waters of southern Japan and south-eastern Korea. Matured adults of blenniid fish were collected from the rocky shore of Namchun-dong, Nam-gu, Pusan, Korea in July, 1991. The observations were made on the morphology and skeletal development of the reared larvae and juveniles. The lavae reached 5.80mm in mean total length(MTL) in 10 days after hatching. A this time the larvae have absorbed the yolk completely and became postlarvae. Melanophores are distributed on the fin membrane of the lower part of pectoral fin and ventral margins of tail. The larvae averaged 6.20mm in TL and the caudal notochord flex at $45^{\circ}$ in 13 days after hatching. The part of the fin-fold of the future dorsal and anal fins became high. The lavae reached juvenile stage in 31 days after hatching and attained 15.80mm in MTL, and all fin-rays was formed. Ossification of the cranium took place at 6.20mm of MTL(11 days after hatching) in parasphenoid. Vertebrae began to develop from the anterior end to ossify posteriorly. Ossification of all bones nearly completed when the larvae reached to 15.80mm in MTL (31 days after hatching).

When the hollow cylinder structure moves in underwater with high speed structural can be propagated from the end of the structure to the front side. This noise can reduce the sensitivity of the conformal array which installed in the surface of the cylinder. To reduce this noise propagation it is suggested to install two self-reduction rings at the surrounding of the cylinder which is 500mm in diameter and 840mm in length. The places of the two noise reduction rings are 120mm and 240mm point from the end of the structure. Two noise reduction rings reduced 10.1 % of maximum stress. When outside noise frequency applied to the structure from the 4kZ to 6kHz, 20dB noise reduction was calculated using 6 order polynomial equation. When outside noise frequency also applied to the structure with 200Hz, 500Hz, 900Hz, maximum sound pressure level point moved to the end of the structure. Most conformal sensors are fabricated at the front side of the structure. Based on the simulation results proposed two rings can be reduced noise propagation from the tail of the structure effectively.

Hybrid grouper (Epinephelus fuscoguttatus ♀×E. lanceolatus ♂) (mean weight 27.3±3.8 g, mean length 11.6±0.7 cm) were exposed to waterborne nitrite at 0, 100, 200, 400, 800, and 1600mg L^-1 for 96 hours. The hematocrit and hemoglobin values were significantly decreased by exposure to 100 mg L^-1 and 400 mg L^-1, respectively. In plasma components, no significant change was observed in magnesium. Glucose was significantly increased by 200 and 400 mg L^-1 nitrite but reduced by 800 mg L^-1. Cholesterol was significantly decreased by 400 mg L^-1 nitrite, but there was no significant change in total protein. GPT(glutamic pyruvate transaminase) was significantly increased by exposure to 200 and 400mg L^-1. ALP(Alkaline phosphatase) was significantly increased by 800 mg L^-1. The results of this study indicate that acute exposure to nitrite changes physiological parameters, such as hematological properties and plasma components.

Changes of color intensity and components during browning reaction of water extracts from white tail ginseng were investigated. Temperature dependence was described by the Arrhenius relationship with an activation energy of 16kcal/mole. Temperature sensitivities$(Q_{10}\;value)$ for water extracts of ginseng was 1.90 between $70^{\circ}C\;and\;80^{\circ}C$, 1.57 between $80^{\circ}C\;and\;90^{\circ}C$ and 1.46 between $90^{\circ}C\;and\;100^{\circ}C$. pH value of the solution treated at $90^{\circ}C\;and\;100^{\circ}C$ slightly increased with an increase in reaction time. Among ginseng saponins ginsenoside-Re was most unstable against heat-treatment, white diol group saponins were more stable against heat-treatment. Hydrogen donating activity (reducing activity for ${\alpha},\;{\alpha}'-diphenyl-{\beta}-picrylhydrazyl$) and 3,5-dinitrosalicylic acid(DNS) positive substances of browning reaction products increased in proportion to the length of browning reaction time and temperature, whereas folin positive substances decreased by heat-denaturation of ginseng protein at initial reaction time and then increased thereafter.

A trematode, Cercaria tapidis which is parasitic to short necked clam, Tapes philippinarum was studied in terms of its morphology and incidence of infection rate. The host bivalve was collected from Solri near Gunsan from September 1980 to August 1981. Sporocysts were observed mainly in tissues of gonad of the short necked clams. Minimum infection rate ($0.85\%$) was found in May, while maximum infection rate ($23.27\%$) in December. The sporocyst is 1.1 mm long and 0.27 mm wide. Ellipsoidal body of cercaria is $283{\mu}m$ long and $120{\mu}m$ wide. Oral sucker is much larger than ventral sucker. Moderately small pharynx, a long esophagus, and a long intestine reaching to the posterior end of the body are distinctive. Globular excretory bladder is located at the posterior part of the body and bears numerous granules of various size. The flame-cell arrangement is represented by a formula 2[(3+3+3)+(3+3)]=30. Tail is five times body length.

The effects of spirulina-added salad dressing on lipid profiles and antioxidant biomarkers such as total glutathionine, TBARS value, carbonyl value, GPx, GR, SOD and paraoxonase activity in plasma or liver of mice were evaluated Sixteen male ICR mice weighing 20$\pm$2 g were divided into two groups and fed low fat ($5\%$ fat) diet (low fat control: LFC) and low fat control plus dressing diet (LFD) for eight weeks. Body weight, tissue weights of liver, heart and kidney, and the distribution of body fat deposition were not significantly different between two groups. Also, the profile of TG, TC, LDL and HDL cholesterol were similar between two groups. The DNA damage was determined using the comet assay (single cell gel assay) with alkaline electrophoresis and quantified by measuring tail length (TL). Spirulina salad dressing consumption resulted in significant decrease in lymphocyte DNA damage expressed by TL (LFC: $28.8{\mu}m$, LFD: $20.3{\mu}m$). Additionally, salad dressing consumption for 8 wks decreased the lipid peroxidation assayed by TBARS to $12.6\%$ compared with the control. The levels of antioxidant vitamins such as $\beta$-carotene were significantly higher in plasma of LFD group than those in LFC group based on HPLC method This study shows that spirulina-added salad dressing exerts degenerative disease-protective effects on oxidative DNA damage and lipid peroxidation possibly via a free radical levels.

Histological and ultrastructural differentiations of the neuroepithelial cells in the mouse embryo during neurulation were observed. The neural plates and grooves consisted of pseudostratified columnar epithelium in the embryonic day (ED) 8 embryo were developed. In the ED 9 embryo, the neural tube was developed in all body length of embryo except both the cephalic and caudal ends. Secondary neurulation was shown at the tail bud of the ED 10 embryo. In the ED 8 embryo, the primitive streak was shown in the posterior end of the embryonic disc. The neuroepithelium, notochord and mesenchyme were well differentiated in the cephalic and cervical portions. In the ED 9 and 10 embryos, the roof plates of neural tubes were constituted of the closing of the surface ectodermal cells in the hindbrain and the neuroepithelial cells in the spinal cord. The floor plate of neural tube were consisted of the low pseudostratified columnar epithelium. The spinal motor nerve fibers were initially differentiated in the ED 10 embryo. According to the electron density of the cell and the differentiation of tell organelles, the neuroepithelial cells in the ED 9 and 10 embryos were classified into three types: dark, intermediate and light types. All types in the ED 9 embryo were observed but the dark cell in the ED 10 embryo was not done. The free ribosomes and polysomes in all neuroepithelial cells were developed. The RER and lipid droplets in the dark cell and the Golgi complex in the intermediate and light cells were observed. Many microfilaments in the cytoplasmic processes of intermediate cell and the microfilaments and microtubules in the light cell processes were observed to be well differentiated.

Melting temperature shift ($T_m-shift$) is a new detection method that analyze the melting curve on real-time PCR thermocycler using SYBR Green I fluorescent dye. To establish a $T_m-shift$ method for the detection of Ancylostoma ceylanicum and A. tubaeforme in cats, specific primers, with GC tail of unequal length attached to their 5' end, were designed based on 2 SNP loci (ITS101 and ITS296) of the internal transcribed spacer 1 (ITS1) sequences. The standard curve of $T_m-shift$ was established using the standard plasmids of A. ceylanicum (AceP) and A. tubaeforme (AtuP). The $T_m-shift$ method stability, sensitivity, and accuracy were tested with reference to the standard curve, and clinical fecal samples were also examined. The results demonstrated that the 2 sets of primers based on the 2 SNPs could accurately distinguish between A. ceylanicum and A. tubaeforme. The coefficient of variation (CV) of $T_m$- values of AceP and AtuP was 0.07% and 0.06% in ITS101 and was 0.06% and 0.08% in ITS296, respectively. The minimum detectable DNA concentration was $5.22{\times}10^{-6}$ and $5.28{\times}10^{-6}ng/{\mu}l$ samples of AceP and AtuP, respectively. The accuracy of $T_m-shift$ method reached 100% based on examination of 10 hookworm DNA samples with known species. In the clinical detection of hookworm in 69 stray cat fecal sample, the $T_m-shift$ detection results were consistent with the microscopic examination and successfully differentiated between the 2-hookworm species. In conclusion, the developed method is a rapid, sensitive and accurate technique and can provide a promising tool for clinical detection and epidemiological investigation of cat-derived hookworms.

As a new academic publication model is attempted to improve the transparency, efficiency, and speed of scientific knowledge production and distribution, the open peer review platform for verification and openness of peer review history is also activated. Publons is a global platform for tracking, validating, disclosing, and recognizing the peer-reviewed histories of more than 3 million researchers worldwide. This study analyzed the review activities of 579 researchers from domestic universities who are actively reviewing international journals through Publons. As a result of the analysis, first, researchers from domestic universities who actively review international academic journals were found to be in the fields of medicine and electrical and electronics, and in most fields, assistant professors or higher with high WOS indexed research papers are participating. Second, there was a long-tail phenomenon in which a small number of reviewers with extremely high number of review papers existed in all academic fields, and there was no significant difference in the number of review papers and review report length depending on the nationality, academic status, and age of the reviewers. Lastly, although there was a weak correlation between the amount of papers reviewed by reviewers and the number of published papers, it was found that researchers with an extremely large number of reviews do not necessarily produce as many research papers.

The public can now access movies faster and more easily thanks to over-the-top (OTT) services. The audience may be impacted by period dramas, where accurate costume reproduction is crucial. For filmmakers, it is critical to replicate period costumes using precise historical information. The goal of this study is to act as a reference so that, when it comes to period dramas, viewers can evaluate them using impartial criteria and movie producers can use data based on fact to plan their costumes. The film Napoleon won the British Academy Award for Costume after hiring costume experts to create 95% of the entire costume, according to data from the Napoleon I Museum. Following the French Revolution, the ostentatious and ornate men's attire vanished, to be replaced by a more modest and functional outfit. For tops, vests were cut to waist length, shirts, cravats, and carrick were worn, and tailcoats were the norm. The pants were swapped out for loose-fitting ones. The glitzy hues and embellishments from the bygone era progressively vanished and formed the foundation of the contemporary men's costume, which is dominated by black. The hats worn were tricorn, bicorn, top hat, and bowler, and the hairstyle changed from long to short gradually. The civil class wore short tops called carmagnoles. Napoleon wore a high-collared Napoleon collar and a tailcoat with a bicorn, which became his emblem. Green, navy, and white were the colors of the uniform, and a gray woolen coat was worn outside. The elaborately decorated costumes were worn to court and to banquets; the Napoleonic coronation costume was embellished with gold embroidery on silk, red velvet, and martyred hair; the post-revolutionary costumes gradually became more colorful. In the movie Napoleon, period clothing items were well represented, with the aristocracies wearing dark tailcoats, vests, shirts, and cravats. Based on the data from the men's costume, Napoleon's outfit in the movie was made more similarly. This study's limitation is that not every character in the movie could have their costume examined, and the material matter could not be precisely determined by examining the images displayed on the screen. Given that portraits typically feature a great deal of noble imagery, the clothing worn by common people is also associated with data limitations when it comes to movie costume design.
