In this paper, we propose an error correction method to improve the accuracy of human activity recognition using sensor event data obtained by smart devices such as wearable and smartphone. In the context awareness through the smart device, errors inevitably occur in sensing the necessary context information due to the characteristics of the device, which degrades the prediction performance. In order to solve this problem, we apply Kalman filter's error correction algorithm to compensate the signal values obtained from 3-axis acceleration sensor of smart device. As a result, it was possible to effectively eliminate the error generated in the process of the data which is detected and reported by the 3-axis acceleration sensor constituting the time series data through the Kalman filter. It is expected that this research will improve the performance of the real-time context-aware system to be developed in the future.
When an applicant requests the emergency situation call or safe return service using a smart device, the smart surveillance service can select the CCTV(closed circuit television) cameras around the applicant using applicant's location information, then automatically takes a photograph to track the applicant. Since the surrounding CCTV camera shoots the applicant continuously using location information and the applicant can be observed by the monitor agent in real time, this service can be very helpful in an applicant's emergency situation or safe return. The existing smart surveillance service does not consider the priority of the emergency situation call and safe return service. Therefore, there is the disadvantage that the applicant who requests an emergency situation call service can not be photographed when safe return service has already preoccupied CCTV cameras which are capable of taking a picture of the applicant. The proposed smart surveillance service improves this disadvantage by using service priority.
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technologies are perhaps the most prominent examples of wireless communication technologies used in the Internet of Things (IoT) environment. Compared to widely used Wi-Fi, Bluetooth technology has some flaws including 1:1 connection (one-way) between Master and Slave, slow transmission, and limited connection range; Bluetooth is mainly used for connecting audio devices. Since the release of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), some of the flaws of Bluetooth technology have been improved but it still failed to become a competitive alternative of Wi-Fi. This paper presents a method of data transmission through broadcasting in BLE and demonstrates its performance, one-to-many data transfer result. The Connection-Free Data Transmission proposed in this paper will hopefully be utilized in special circumstances requiring 1:N data transmission or disaster security network.

The purpose of this study is to analyze demands of education training about copyright for Infant and early childhood education institutions. This study investigated demands of education training about copyright for infant and early childhood education institutions targeting 248 directors and teachers. Using a questionnaire, research data was analyzed using the program spss. Demands of education training about copyright for infant and early childhood education institutions appeared differently depending on education institution type, position, education career, etc. copyright training topics include the highest demands for understanding of the copyright associated with the work of the early childhood education. Training contents had higher demands for using typeface(font) and video material. So these results reported that directors and teachers require copyright education relating to the work of Early childhood education. The results of this study suggest the implications for developing and implementing copyright training programs for Infant and Early childhood education institutions.
The main purpose of this paper is to compare the performances of various filters with color images to remove the noise. Furthermore, we suggest a modified de-noising process by the transformation of color model from RGB to another color models, such as HSV and $YC_BC_R$, to improve the quality of de-noising methods encompassing Median, Wiener, and Mean filters. Neither the performance comparison of the de-noising filters with color images nor the converting the color model for better de-noise on the degraded images haven't been performed before. Inspired to make improvements, we conduct experiments with new de-noising process on color images. The result of the experiments is shown that it could assist on certain filters being more reliable techniques.

Purpose : This study was to identify the effect of cognitive reaction following inactive electrode placement when applying anodal transcranial direct current stimulation over the primary motor cortex. Methods : For this study a total of 28 stroke patients participated. Before applying transcranial direct current stimulation, cognitive reaction was measured (P300 of event related potential, cognitive reaction time), and subjects were randomly assigned to two group. Transcranial direct current stimulation was applied to the scalp with an intensity of $0.04mA/cm^2$ for 15 minutes. All subjects were given an anode transcranial direct current stimulation over the primary motor area and inactive electrodes over the deltoid muscle (group I) and supra-orbital area (group II). Cognitive reactions were measured after applying transcranial direct current stimulation. Results : For this study a total of 28 stroke patients participated. With the development of digital technology, a cinematic content has been changed into various forms. Web and mobile platforms bring new forms of cinematic contents. However despite of fast growing of VR(Virtual Reality) technology, they haven't applied to cinematic contents yet. This research focused on the esthetical use of rotoscoping technique for the Virtual Reality Cinema based on the (HMD) Head Mounted Display. First, we look though on VR films 'Notes on Blindness' and 'Pearl' to find how these films express esthetical virtual space. Through this, we found out graphical space provide new esthetical experience to viewers in virtual space. Also, we analyze fantastical usages and successful cases of rotoscoping technique with the 'Waking Life' and 'Scanner Darkly' that utilize rotoscoping technique to live action image. Lastly, we utilize rotoscoping technique esthetically to the VR film 'Girl on a swing' to fulfill the viewers experience and desire.

Purpose : This study aimed to evaluate the changes in visual perception and daily life activities after simultaneously applying the visual perception training program and transcranial DC stimulation. Particularly, this study tried to understand what changes in abilities among daily life activities influenced cognition. Methods : This study selected 50 dementia patients to achieve the objective. This study applied transcranial DC stimulation and a visual perception training program to a treatment group (n=25) and a visual perception training program to a control group (n=25). The intervention was applied five times per week and 30 minutes per session (total of 30 intervention sessions). This study measured visual perception functions and daily life activities using MVPT and FIM before and after applying the intervention. Results : The visual perception, mobility of daily life activities, cognition, and total score of the treatment group (n=25), which received the visual perception training program and transcranial DC at the same time, were significantly (p<.05) different between before and after the intervention. Moreover, when the visual perception and daily life activities of the treatment group and those of the control group after implementing the intervention were compared, they were significantly (p<.05) different between the two groups. Conclusion : The results of this study showed that the simultaneous application of the visual perception training program and transcranial DC stimulation was an effective means to enhance the visual perception and daily life activities of dementia patients. The results implied that transcranial DC stimulation, as well as the application of visual perception training program, as well as a visual perception training program, was effective for improving the visual perception functions and daily life activities dementia patients and simultaneous application of the two interventions would increase the effect even further.
Deinococcus radiodurans is an extremophilic bacterium that can thrive in harsh environments. This property can be attributed to its unique metabolites that possess strong antioxidants and other pharmacological properties. To determine the potential of D. radiodurans R1 lysate (DeinoLys) as a pharmacological candidate for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), we investigated the antiinflammatory activity of DeinoLys in bone marrow-derived dendritic cells (BMDCs) and a colitis mice model. Lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated BMDCs treated with DeinoLys exhibited alterations in their phenotypic and functional properties by changing into tolerogenic DCs, including strongly inhibited proinflammatory cytokines (TNF-α and IL-12p70) and surface molecule expression and activated DC-induced T cell proliferation/activation with high IL-10 production. These phenotypic and functional changes in BMDCs induced by DeinoLys in the presence of LPS were abrogated by IL-10 neutralization. Furthermore, oral administration of DeinoLys significantly reduced clinical symptoms against dextran sulfate sodium-induced colitis, including body weight loss, disease activity index, histological severity in colon tissue, and lower myeloperoxidase level in mice. Our results establish DeinoLys as a potential anti-inflammatory candidate for IBD therapy.
