유박비료 시비가 수수류의 생육특성 및 건물수량에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Growth Characteristics and Dry Matter Yield of Organic Mixed Expeller Cake Fertilizer in Sorghum-Sudangrass Hybrids)

  • 본 연구는 조사료 생산 분야에서 화학비료를 사용하는 관행농법에서 벗어나 유기재배 기술개발을 위하여 관행재배와 유기재배의 수량성, 사료가치 등을 비교 조사하였다. 시험은 전남 강진군 작천면 소재 축산연구소의 논에서 수행하였다. 유기질 비료로는 질소성분이 4.0% 함유된 유박비료를 이용하였으며, 시험구 편성은 대조구(Con)와 대조구 질소 함량 기준으로 환산하여 유박비료 100% 처리구(T1), 유박비료 150% 처리구(T2), 유박비료200% 처리구(T3)로 구성 하였다. 시험품종은 수수${\times}$수단그라스 교잡종(SX17)을 5월 25일에 ha당 40kg을 휴립세조파(조간 50cm)로 파종하였다. 수확기 처리구별 초장은 대조구 317cm, T1 252cm, T2 269cm, T3 293cm으로 대조구가 가장 우수하였고, 시비 처리구에 따른 시험구에서는 시비량의 증가에 따라 증가하였고, 건초량은 대조구 11.386kg/ha, T1 6,015kg/ha, T2 6,799kg/ha, T3 7,627kg/ha으로 초장의 생육과 동일한 경향을 보였다. 조단백질은 대조구 7.0%, T1 5.7%, T2 6.3%, T3 5.1%로 시험 처리구에서는 T2에서 가장 높았다. 이와 같은 결과로 유박비료를 대조구 시비량 질소 함량 대비 150% 시비에서 사료가치는 유의적 차이를 보이지 않았으나, 초장과 건초량이 증가가 이루어졌으므로 150% 기준으로 시비하는 것이 적합할 것으로 판단된다.

Mycological Features of Trichophyton verrucosum Isolated in Cattle

  • In this study, the author observed the fungal characteristics of T. verrucosum which is commonly known as the cattle ringworm fungus in the farms of Hoengseong, Gangwon-do. After isolating 20 strains of T. verrucosum from cattle, they were cultured on SDA, PDA media and the fungal characteristics were concluded through visual observation of the colonies, microscopic findings, hair perforation test and urease test. The size of the colonies cultured on SDA media at 37 C was on an average 5 mm at 1 week, 33 mm at 2 weeks, 42 mm at 3 weeks and 58 mm after 4 weeks. Observing the characteristics of the colonies, 17 strains of T. album showing central bold radial folds, 2 strains of T. ochraceum having l throughout the colonies and 1 strain of T. discoides with rapid growth rate and gray-white cotton patterns were found. On microscopic observations of the cultured colonies on SDA, PDA media, macroconidia and microconidia were not found in T. verrucosum and hyphae and chlamydospore were only seen in T. album types. Out of 20 strains of T. verrucosum, hair perforation test was positive on only 3 strains and urease test was positive on all of the 20 strains.

A PERMUTATION APPROACH TO THE BEHRENS-FISHER PROBLEM

  • We propose a permutation approach to the classic Behrens-Fisher problem of comparing two means in the presence of unequal variances. It is motivated by the observation that a paired test is valid whether or not the variances are equal. Rather than using a single arbitrary pairing of the data, we average over all possible pairings. We do this in both a parametric and nonparametric setting. When the sample sizes are equal, the parametric version is equivalent to referral of the unpaired t-statistic to a t-table with half the usual degrees of freedom. The derivation provides an interesting representation of the unpaired t-statistic in terms of all possible pairwise t-statistics. The nonparametric version uses the same idea of considering all different pairings of data from the two groups, but applies it to a permutation test setting. Each pairing gives rise to a permutation distribution obtained by relabeling treatment and control within pairs. The totality of different mean differences across all possible pairings and relabelings forms the null distribution upon which the p-value is based. The conservatism of this procedure diminishes as the disparity in variances increases, disappearing completely when the ratio of the smaller to larger variance approaches 0. The nonparametric procedure behaves increasingly like a paired t-test as the sample sizes increase.

  • Cracked component analysis is needed for structural integrity analysis under seismic loading. Under large amplitude cyclic loading conditions, the change in material properties can be complex, depending on the magnitude of plastic strain. Therefore the cracked component analysis under cyclic loading should consider appropriate cyclic hardening model. This study introduces a procedure for determining an appropriate cyclic hardening model for cracked component analysis. The test material was nuclear-grade TP316 stainless steel. The material cyclic hardening was simulated using the Chaboche combined hardening model. The kinematic hardening model was determined from standard tensile test to cover the high and wide strain range. The isotropic hardening model was determined by simulating C(T) test under cyclic loading using ABAQUS debonding analysis. The suitability of the material hardening model was verified by comparing load-displacement curves of cyclic C(T) tests under different load ratios.

  • This study introduces the wind turbine (W/T) noise evaluation procedure required in the international standard (IEC 61400-11) and monitoring system for the evaluation. Noise emission characteristics of a 750kW W/T generator is investigated. Test and evaluation are performed on J48 W/T model which is under operation in Daekwanryung Wind Test Site. With the noise signal, meteorological data and W/T operational data are monitored in real time by the integrated monitoring system using LabVIEW. From the measured noise data, acoustic power level and tonality of the W/T are estimated under the wind speeds required by the international standard.

  • The purpose of this study is to define the optimized layer pattern of composite wind turbine blade by using a commercial FEM program and to perform the fatigue test of T-Bolt. FEM analysis is done by using a PATRAN and ABAQUS to get a information about stress distribution ,critical deformation shape and get a critical load factor in local buckling analysis. As a result of the linear and nonlinear structural analysis, layer pattern of blade was optimized. T-Bolt is a connecting part of wind turbine blade and rotor hub, therefore T-bolt is cirtical part of wind turbine blade. T-bolt fatigue test is conducted to get a information of life cycle of T-bolt. The test is done by using a hydraulic actuator system

  • A new concept of aging classes namely new better (worse) than used at age $t_0$ in moment generating function order, $NBU_{mgf}-t_0$ ($NWU_{mgf}-t_0$) is introduced. For the classes $NBU_{mgf}-t_0$ ($NWU_{mgf}-t_0$), preservation under convolution, mixture, mixing and the homogeneous Poisson shock model are studied. In the sequel, nonparametric test is proposed, the asymptotic normality of the class is established and the asymptotic null variance is estimated. The percentiles and powers of this test are tabulated. The asymptotic efficiencies for some alternatives distributions are derived. Finally sets of real data are used as examples to elucidate the use of the proposed test in practical application.

금연동기강화상담 프로그램이 중학교 남학생의 흡연지식, 자기효능감 및 일일 흡연량에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Motivation Enhancement for smoking cessation Program on Middle School Students' Knowledge on smoking, self-efficacy, and Daily amount of Smoking)

  • 본 연구는 금연동기강화상담 프로그램이 중학교 남학생의 흡연지식, 자기효능감 및 일일 흡연량에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위한 목적으로 시도되었다. 연구방법은 U시에 소재한 2개의 중학교에서 흡연하는 남학생을 대상으로 총 47명으로 이 중 실험군은 23명, 대조군은 24명을 대상으로 한 비동등성 대조군 사전 사후 설계를 이용한 유사 실험연구로, 연구기간은 2018년 2월 19일부터 5월 11일까지 자료를 수집하였다. 연구 통계방법은 IBM SPSS/win 24.0 프로그램을 이용하여 t-test, ${\chi}^2$-test, Fisher's exact test 그리고 paired t-test로 분석하였다. 그 결과 금연동기강화상담 프로그램 적용 후 흡연지식(t=3.38, p=.002), 자기효능감(t=-3.37, p=.002) 및 일일 흡연량(t=3.38, p=.002)는 두 군간에 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 흡연하는 중학교 남학생에게 흡연지식과 자기효능감 향상 및 일일 흡연량을 감소시킬 수 있는 유용한 간호중재 프로그램임을 확인 할 수 있었다. 그러므로 향후 청소년들의 금연과 재흡연 예방을 유도하기 위해서는 학생 개개인의 특성에 맞는 다양한 금연동기강화상담 프로그램을 적용하여 청소년들의 금연동기와 흥미를 끌 수 있도록 해야 할 것이다.

  • In this paper, wd design the Program Specific Information (PSI) parser and its On-Screen Display (OSD) on the middleware of ALi M3330 MPEG-2 decoder processor to analyze DVB-T Transport Stream(TS) information. To test the functional operation of the designed parser, we implement the DVB-T test board including the RF-tuner using ALi M3330 MPEP-2 decoder processor and confirm the correct operation using the input TS stream generated by DVB-T stream generator. The developed PSI parser could be used for the test environment, various channel extension, and the development of DVB-T reception module.

Clinical Utility of Two Interferon-gamma Release Assays on Pleural Fluid for the Diagnosis of Tuberculous Pleurisy

  • Background: The release of interferon-gamma (IFN-${\gamma}$) by T lymphocytes increases after rechallenge with Mycobacterium tuberculosis antigen, especially, at a localized site of tuberculosis (TB) infection. We aimed to compare the clincial efficacy of two commercial IFN-${\gamma}$ release assays from pleural fluid for the diagnosis in tuberculous pleurisy. Methods: We performed T-SPOT.TB and QuantiFERON-TB Gold tests simultaneously on pleural fluid and peripheral blood samples from patients with pleural effusion, in South Korea, an area with intermediate TB burden. Results: Thirty-six patients were enrolled prospectively, and tuberculous pleurisy was found in 21 patients. Both the numbers of IFN-${\gamma}$ secreting T cells and the concentration of IFN-${\gamma}$ were greater in the pleural tuberculous group, comparing with the non-tuberculous group. Moreover, in the tuberculous group, there was a significant difference in IFN-${\gamma}$ producing spot-forming cells using the T-SPOT.TB method between pleural fluid and peripheral blood. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve, was the greatest for pleural fluid T-SPOT.TB test, followed by peripheral blood T-SPOT.TB test, peripheral blood QuantiFERON-TB Gold test, and pleural fluid QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (area under the ROC curve of 0.956, 0.890, 0.743, and 0.721, respectively). The T-SPOT.TB assay produced less indeterminate results than did QuantiFERON-TB Gold assay in both pleural fluid and peripheral blood. Conclusion: These findings suggest that the pleural fluid T-SPOT.TB test could be the most useful test among the IFN-${\gamma}$ release assays for diagnosing tuberculous pleurisy in an area with an intermediate prevalence of TB infection.
