  • The purpose of this study was to identify the management situation and development plan targeting private bakery owners who are doing business in major cities. For research, the questionnaire survey was conducted targeting 69 owners who are operating bakery at the point of data collection, and the data were analyzed using frequency analysis and paired-sample t-test using SPSS. The results of the study were as follows. Owners' baking career and management career were mostly more than 10 years. They are currently managing bakeries with at least 4 competing bakeries and point out franchise-type bakeries as major competitors. Also, they responded that the most important factor for strengthening competitive edge of shop was employees and that the enhancement in technology and employees with adequate techniques are important for improving sales. Also, the result of paired sample t-test revealed that the communication had the biggest difference between importance and satisfaction perceptions among taste, sanitation, service, price, product, location, and communication. Limitations and future research directions are also discussed.

Level of student's development, students are at the point of not having enough judgement and ability to adapt at emergency situation. They are learned about safety by education and management by teachers but teachers will get heavy burden and anxiety if government doesn't provide more improved support and restraint. On this situation, educational authority can be attacked and it legally charged by nation, owned property can be loss or prosecution can be occurred. Also school safety accident which occurs in these days is working as an negative insecurity element that teachers cannot concentrate on the education.

  • Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the accuracy and adequacy of research papers reporting statistical testings for mean differences. Methods: Original research articles utilized t-test, Chi-square test, and ANOVA were reviewed from Korean Journal of Women Health Nursing published from the year 2004 to 2006. Seventy-six papers were evaluated in accordance with formatted criteria in respect to an inclusiveness of research title, accuracy of statistical methods and presentation styles, and errors in reporting statistical outcomes. Results: Research titles were quite comprehensive, however overall accuracy of statistical values and basic formats reached only 60 to 80% by items. Details of the presentation in the reporting of outcomes were not complied with the guidelines, which need careful concerns of the writers. Errors of English in table presentation were found in more than 30% of the papers. Conclusion: The outcome would be reflected in the submission guidelines for future writers. To reach the level comparable with internationally recognized nursing journals, concrete knowledge to apply statistical methods should be ensured in the processes of submission, reviews, and editing.

  • This study, focused on customers of tourist industry events, aims to examine the influence of service quality on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. The overall explanatory power ($R^2$) on the dependent variable 'customer satisfaction' in relation to service quality was found to be 47.1%, and the overall explanatory power($R^2$) on the dependent variable 'customer loyalty' in relation to service quality was 36.6%. The F-test, which was conducted to determine the statistical significance of the above regression equation, showed a value of 157.599, thus confirming the statistical significance of the regression equation on how service quality affects customer loyalty. The t-test, was conducted to determine the statistically significant variables of service quality of tourism industry events (t=5.359, p= .000). Furthermore, the analysis showed that customer satisfaction had a positive (+) influence on customer loyalty (t=12.554, p= .000). Therefore the hypothesis that the quality of service affects customer satisfaction and loyalty was supported. As a result, it was found that the higher the level of service quality, tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, confidence empathy, and event quality, the higher the customer satisfaction level.

  • The purposes of this study is to analyze the effects of repeated mountain trekking experience in adolescent sociality. Fifty-eight adolescents who took part in Baekdu-daegan trekking program were analyzed as research subjects. The subjects were divided for comparative analysis. Those who participated 40 times or more from 2014 to 2015 were designated as repetitive participants, and those who participated 5 times or fewer from March 2016 to April 2016 were designated as temporary participants. The general attributes of the subjects were examined by using descriptive analysis. A correlation analysis was carried out to compute the correlation coefficients between the five sub-components of sociality, and an independent sample t-test was executed for comparative analysis of sociality. The results of the analysis showed that sociality was higher in adolescents who repeatedly participated in trekking. Repetitive participants scored higher than temporary participants in all measures of the sub-components of sociality: autonomy, lawfulness, diligence, cooperativeness, and interpersonal relationships. We have verified positive influence of repetitive trekking experiences based on the research results thus far. Therefore, it supports the need of forest education as a fundamental approach to solving adolescent problems.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the influences of the information activities (i.e., the ability of digital device use and the time spent of information retrieval) on the feeling of happiness for the elderly people in Korea. For this study, we conducted face-to-face interview with the elderly over 60 years old living in and around Daegu, Korea and analyzed 371 valid data for frequency, multiple regression and t-test using IBM SPSS version 21.0. The results showed that neither the ability of computer nor mobile phone use affect on the feeling of happiness, whereas both the ability of TV and telephone use influence positively (+) on it. In addition, the time spent of the business-related information retrieval influences negatively (-) on the feeling of happiness, but the time spent of the financial-related information retrieval influences positively (+) on it.

  • This study was conducted to obtain meaningful information about job management of child care center teachers, who take charge of child care policy at the front line, social meaning of which is being greatly highlighted these days. Especially, the research was designed with causal relationships in mind, in which certain job-related thoughts or consciousness forms attitudes, thus leading to behavior. In this light, the present study selected the following variables for analysis: job attitudes including job calling, job engagement, and job burnout; and job behavior such as creative behavior, active behavior, and ethical behavior. Data collected from 209 child care center teachers' response to structured questionnaires was analyzed, using t-test, one-way analysis of variance (one-way ANOVA), and hierarchical regression analysis. The results indicate that job burnout increased at a statistically significant level as extra workhours increased, and that only job engagement, among job attitude variables, and creative behavior and active behaviors, among job behavior variables, had significant effects. Moreover, job engagement was the only variable that was found to work as a mediator in relationships between job calling and active behavior.

  • This study aimed to develop and evaluate the program of contraceptive education for high school students. A nonequivalent control group design was used. The contraceptive education program was developed and applied to the experimental group. The control group was provided with a handout and video educational instrument after the intervention. The population of the study comprised 146 high school students in the third grade at two high schools in U city. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, the ${\chi}^2$-test, t-test and repeated measure ANOVA using the PASW 18.0 program. The content and learning guidance validities of the contraceptive education program were 0.93 points and more than 4 points, respectively. There were statistically significant increases over time in contraceptive knowledge(F=56.71, p<.001), contraceptive attitude(F=4.31, p=.018) and contraceptive self-esteem (F=8.15, p<.001) in the experimental group. The results indicate that the contraceptive education program is effective in improving the contraceptive knowledge, contraceptive attitude and contraceptive self-esteem among high-school students. Further study is recommended to confirm the long-term effects of the contraceptive education program.
