핵심어 인식기에서 단어의 음소레벨 로그 우도 비율의 패턴을 이용한 발화검증 방법 (Utterance Verification using Phone-Level Log-Likelihood Ratio Patterns in Word Spotting Systems)

  • This paper proposes an improved method to verify a keyword segment that results from a word spotting system. First a baseline word spotting system is implemented. In order to improve performance of the word spotting systems, we use a two-pass structure which consists of a word spotting system and an utterance verification system. Using the basic likelihood ratio test (LRT) based utterance verification system to verify the keywords, there have been certain problems which lead to performance degradation. So, we propose a method which uses phone-level log-likelihood ratios (PLLR) patterns in computing confidence measures for each keyword. The proposed method generates weights according to the PLLR patterns and assigns different weights to each phone in the process of generating confidence measures for the keywords. This proposed method has shown to be more appropriate to word spotting systems and we can achieve improvement in final word spotting accuracy.

광양항 컨테이너 부두의 서비스품질 평가체계 (The New Service Quality Assessment System for Gwangyang Container Port)

  • 광양항 이용고객을 대상으로 2005년 이후 광양항 컨테이너부두 서비스품질 조사가 수행되었다. 광양항 조사의 분석결과는 서비스 평가체계 중 가장 중요한 서비스차원간의 가중치 산정절차가 수립되지 않아 연차별 또는 경쟁항만 간 정확한 비교가 어려웠다. 특히 가중치 산정에 전문적으로 활용되는 계층분석법에 의한 산정결과가 연차별로 특정 평가항목에 대해서는 90%이상씩 변동하는 등 안정성이 매우 낮아 비교가 불가능했다. 이에 본 연구는 광양항 항만 서비스기업의 품질평가체계를 발전시켜 비용 및 시간 효과적인 품질평가 및 관리 체계의 수립을 지원하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 광양항 이용고객들을 대상으로 2007년~2009년 설문 자료에 확인적 요인분석을 적용하여 서비스품질 평가를 위한 연차별로 안정적이며 비교 가능한 가중치를 사후적으로 산정하는 방법을 제시하고 산정하였다. 새롭게 제안된 방법은 설문항목을 줄이면서 보다 과학적이고 정확한 서비스품질 평가체계를 구축할 수 있게 해주었다. 이 연구를 활용하여 서비스품질을 정확하게 측정할 수 있게 되면, 기간별 및 선도기업과 비교를 통해 항만기업의 경쟁력을 높일 수 있을 것이다.

  • 본 논문은 도시형 신교통시스템 도입 계획단계에서 적정 신교통시스템을 용이하게 선정하기 위해 대중교통수단의 다양한 특성들에 대한 중요도를 고려하는 평가기법을 제시하고 있다. 이 기법은 대중교통수단의 특성을 이용자 영향요인, 지역사회 영향요인, 정부 및 운영자 영향요인으로 구분하여 총 12개의 평가항목을 설정하고, 이에 대한 중요도를 분석하여 신교통시스템을 평가하는 기법이다. 실증적 분석을 위해 AHP 기법을 이용하여 중소도시의 간선형 신교통시스템에 대한 가중치를 조사하여 평가를 시행한 결과, 중요도는 안전성, 신속 및 정시성, 편리성, 지역활성화 순으로, 우선순위는 철재차륜 AGT, LIM, 고무차륜 AGT 순으로 분석되었다.

진화 신경회로망 제어기를 이용한 도립진자 시스템의 안정화 제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on Stabilization Control of Inverted Pendulum System using Evolving Neural Network Controller)

  • The stabilization control of Inverted Pendulum(IP) system is difficult because of its nonlinearity and structural unstability. Thus, in this paper, an Evolving Neural Network Controller(ENNC) without Error Back Propagation(EBP) is presented. An ENNC is described simply by genetic representation using an encoding strategy for types and slope values of each active functions, biases, weights and so on. By an evolutionary programming which has three genetic operation; selection, crossover and mutation, the predetermine controller is optimally evolved by updating simultaneously the connection patterns and weights of the neural networks. The performances of the proposed ENNC(PENNC) are compared with the ones of conventional optimal controller and the conventional evolving neural network controller(CENNC) through the simulation and experimental results. And we showed that the finally optimized PENNC was very useful in the stabilization control of an IP system.

  • The most important task in acquiring the weapon system is to determine the required performance and to test & evaluate it. The importance of the weapon system by ROC (Required Operational Capability) is not considered, and system development and test evaluation are carried out. In addition, technical incidental performance is tested on the same basis as ROC in the test evaluation and determined according to the result. Development test and evaluation that evaluates technical ability is very important, but development agency is supervised and performed. In this paper, we propose a method to give weights considering the importance of ROC, a technical incidental performance determination and test procedure, and a improvement plan for the development and operational test & evaluation.

Performance Analysis of a Flow Passage Opening Device through Low Speed Aircraft Captive Flight Tests

  • In a pressurized fuel supply system of aircraft, a flow passage opening device is required to keep fuel continuously transferred from one tank to the other. The device utilizes balancing weights in order to follow up an acceleration at special conditions such as negative g. It is very difficult to test the device in a real high-speed and high-altitude test since severe test conditions and expensive supports are needed. Therefore, this paper deals with performance analysis of a flow passage opening device through low speed aircraft captive flight tests (CFT) including roll and negative-g maneuvers. It is shown that balancing weights in the device can open the passage in accordance with fuel position.

Multi user interference cancellation in satellite to ground uplink system Based on improved WPIC algorithm

  • An improved optimal weights based on parallel interference cancellation algorithm has been proposed to cancel for interference induced by multi-user access satellite to ground uplink system. Due to differences in elevation relative motion between the user and the satellite, as well as access between users, resulting in multi-user access interference (Multi-user Access Interference, MUI), which significantly degrade system performance when multi-user access. By steepest gradient method, it obtained based on the MMSE criterion, parallel interference cancellation adjust optimal weights to obtain the maximum SINR. Compared to traditional parallel interference cancellation (Parallel Interference Cancellation, PIC) algorithm or serial interference cancellation ( Successive interference Cancellation, SIC), the accuracy of which is not high and too many complex iterations, we establish the multi-user access to the satellite to ground up link system to demonstrate that the improved WPIC algorithm could be provided with high accuracy and relatively low number of iterations.

연승의 침강속도에 영향을 미치는 미끼의 특성과 앵커 무게에 관한 연구 (A study of the sinking speed of longlines influenced by bait properties and anchor weights)

  • The paper presents investigations on to which degree the sinking speed of longlines is influenced by type of bait, bait sinking orientations and anchor weights. The main aim of this study is to obtain further insight in the ocean current displacement phenomena in demersal longlining. The sinking speed is one of the main factors deciding the current displacement. In an ongoing project, sinking speed experiments with longlines with 6 kg and 10 kg anchor weights have been carried out in the Trondheim fjord. The longlines used in the first experiments were rigged without bait and hook. The results of these experiments with two different anchor weights have revealed only a slight difference in the sinking speed, except for the part near to the anchors, even though the sinking speed of longlines in general is supposed to be much influenced by the anchor weights. The reason for the obtained result is supposed to be that the experiments have been carried out at relative shallow waters. Further studies have included bait sinking experiments in the flume tank. The experiments showed that the drag coefficient of "fillet type (flat)" bait varied from 0.763 to 1.735, while it for "elliptic type" bait varied from 0.62 to 1.483. Other activities have included calculation of the sinking speed of longlines as a function of the established resistance coefficients of bait of various shape and size for commercial longlining. The calculated sinking speed of a longline with the fillet type bait was found to be 12.4 to 16.5% lower than for a longline without bait.

  • Discovery of association rules has been used useful in many fields, especially in the fields of the inventory display, catalog design and cross selling. In previous works, all transactions In the database are treated uniformly. In this paper, we present a method for partitioning transactions in the database using time weights. Transactions are assigned different weights as time goes on. Examples show that these method provides purchasing patterns in the database as well as finding association rules.
