환자 만족도 조사를 통한 QI활동의 효과 평가 - 일개 병원을 중심으로 - (QI Activities for Promotion of Patient's Satisfaction)

  • Background : Evaluation of patient's satisfaction is one of the most important aspects of quality improvement. If the patient highly satisfies with the medical service provided in the hospital, he/she will be likely to visit the same hospital again. Patient's satisfaction of a particular hospital is directly correlated with hospital profits as well as reputation in the community. For this reason, various kinds of survey measuring satisfaction level have been performed and many kind of QI activities for enhancing the profits as well as reputation in the community. For this reason, various kinds of survey measuring satisfaction level have been performed and many kind of QI activities for enhancing the patient's satisfaction. This study is to find the effect of hospital QI activities on the patent's satisfaction level. Methods: After questionnares were developed, survey of measuring satisfaction level was performed in August, 1998. On the basis of survey results, QI activities were carried out to attain the target point of 4.0 and subsequent survey was done in November, 1998. Results: With three main principles of "problem solving approach with kindness". "helping patient to participate in medical procedure with sufficient information", and "putting employees into practice of attitude with human respect", the average level of satisfaction was enhanced from 3.45 to 3.55 level. Also kindness level of employees was increased from 3.71 to 3.82. Level of dissatisfaction about insufficient explanation and unkind attitude was dropped from 69% to 48% and from 82% to 46% respectively. Conclusion: With the result of this study overall satisfaction level was enhanced. In order to keep these advantages a operation of Quality Improvement Task Force Team in each subject will be required.

  • Information system outsourcing induces firms to concentrate on the core competence and to improve business value by utilizing specialized information systems outsourcing vendors. However, for those strategic effects, the outsourced information systems should guarantee a certain service level. Now companies are considering to adopt SLA(Service Level Agreement) as a method to check the service level of the outsourced information systems in quantitative terms. On the contrary, customer satisfaction survey supports qualitative analysis, and helps companies to understand the qualitative effects on information system more systematically. Recently, the growing use of the internet makes customer satisfaction survey to be carried out on the web. For that reason, lots of researches related to web survey have been performed. But these researches are just focused on finding out only items to be measured and the effect of web survey. In this paper, based on the service quality research model for information system outsourcing, we formalize and propose a web survey process, a system architecture, and a functional structure for information system outsourcing customer satisfaction survey. Additionally, we provide the implementation results for the web survey systems.

  • Social noise survey on multiple residential noises such as nut impact, air-borne, bathroom, drainage and traffic noises was conducted to investigate major variables affecting the overall satisfaction for noise environment The effect of individual noise perception on the evaluation of the overall noise environment was investigated through a questionnaire survey on annoyance, disturbance and noise sensitivity. Auditory experiments was also undertaken to determine noise level according to the percent of satisfaction for individual noise source. As a result of survey, it was found that satisfaction for floor impact noise most greatly affects the overall satisfaction for noise environment and annoyance most greatly affects the satisfaction for individual noise sources. Result of auditory experiment showed that the noise level of floor impact noise by bang machine, airborne, drainage and traffic noise corresponding to 50% satisfaction is 44dB($L_{i,Fmax,AW}$) and 40dBA, respectively.

군 급식에서 배식서비스에 미치는 영향요인 (Factors Related to Foodservice Satisfaction in Military Foodservice)

  • This study was intended to investigate and analyze the satisfaction of military meals service which was recognized by air force soldiers who were familiar to the society's meals service, and to make suggestions for the analysis results. For the study, the questionnaire survey was conducted for 460 air force soldiers who performed military duties in Chungcheong area for 23 days from June 3, 2003 to June 26, 2003. Total 460 copies of questionnaire were distributed. But, among them, 431 questionnaires except 29 copies which included dishonest and untrustful answers were analyzed for the study. In terms of the soldiers' rank in demographical characteristics, 43.2% (186 respondents) of total respondents were the airman first class, and 29.7% (128 soldiers) of total respondents were the airman second class. In terms of an education level, 66.1% (285 respondents) of total respondents had the undergraduate school or higher education level. Also, in terms of the growth area, 56.8% (245 respondents) of total respondents came from large cities. Among 20 items about the military meals service, in the question of cooking soldier's kindness degree, respondents answered that they were satisfied with the cooking solders' kindness at a medial level. The survey showed the average 2.95 in this item. The satisfaction level of actions taken at the lack of foods, was 2.94 on the average. Respondents answered that the soldiers' satisfaction on the actions taken at loss of foods was in the medial level. The average was 2.94 and respondents answered that this satisfaction was in the average level. In the item of daily menu placement, the average was 3.19. respondents showed the little higher satisfaction than the average. As the result of investigating whether the castor's seasoning materials were frequently replaced, there was the satisfaction of average level with 3.00 on the average. The satisfaction level of hot foods' temperature was 3.52 on the average. Respondents answered that they were relatively satisfied with the hot foods' temperature preservation. Also, the survey indicated that the nutritional satisfaction had the most influence.

친환경 정비수로에 대한 주민 만족도 평가 (Evaluation of Resident Satisfaction Level on the Environment Friendly Consolidation Canals)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the satisfaction level and to analyze the factors in the environment friendly consolidation canals. In this study, the survey consists of four parts, such as the actual status of environment friendly canals, satisfaction level for each items, overall satisfaction level and the personal features of the users. Total 128 samples out of 140 respondents were used for the final analysis. Analysis of the satisfaction level were fulfilled to survey results such as the basic statistics and the correlations of variables, in addition, dispersion analysis for two user groups were carried out. Function of canal, water quality, landscape, and convenience facilities were chosen as independent variables in the model. Residents in Yeoju area were satisfied with water quality, water quantity and the function of canal. And residents of Yeonggwang area were satisfied with the convenience facilities and the function of the newly consolidated canal.

  • The Purpose of this paper is to analysis on farmer's awareness and satisfaction level of the project for developing large-scale environment-friendly agricultural districts (LSEAD). To analysis farmer's awareness and satisfaction level, a series of farm household surveys were conducted on farmers, take part in the project for developing LSEAD. The sample size of the survey is 80 respectively. As a survey result, awareness and practical use of facilities & equipment shows a little different outcome. Satisfaction level of the project for developing LSEAD is summarized as follows. Influence on disposal of livestock excretions and farmer's consciousness change appears 4.47 and spreading environment-friendly agriculture 4.44, distribution of environment-friendly agricultural product 4.33, and demand of environment-friendly agricultural materials 4.04. In order to sustainable development of LSEAD, a governance system should be established.

건축공법에 따른 북한의 주거환경 만족도 분석 연구 (Analysis of North Korea's Residential Environment Satisfaction According to Construction Method)

  • Recently, as the era of economic cooperation on the Korean Peninsula approaches, the role of the building sector, such as humanitarian reorganization of North Korean housing, is increasing. The purpose of this study is to find out the current location of North Korean housing standards through the North Korean Housing Survey. For the survey, a survey was conducted through 79 North Korean defectors. The main construction methods of North Korean housing are reinforced concrete, steel framed, wooden framed, masonry, and reinforced concrete walled and prefabricated. The residential environment satisfaction items consist of durability, waterproof, heating, ventilation, heat insulation, air tightness, mining, soundproofing, disaster safety, fire safety, and crime prevention. The result is as follows. The housing construction method in North Korea, which lived at that time, consisted of 21 people (30.88%) of reinforced concrete frames, 18 people (26.47%) of wooden frames, 17 people (25%) of masonry walls, 5 people of prefabricated structures (7.35%), and reinforced concrete. Two people (2.94%) were walled. Among these, the wooden frame type had the lowest satisfaction level for each item, and the reinforced concrete had a high level of dissatisfaction in the items of heating, confidentiality, and disaster safety, and the other item had a high level of satisfaction. The masonry wall type has a relatively high satisfaction level in terms of insulation, confidentiality, mining, and disaster safety.

A Study on the Refresher Training of Physical Therapist in Gwangju and Jeonnam

  • Purpose: The current study seeks to examine the continuing education of physical therapist in Gwangju, Jeonnam. Methods: A survey was conducted during the continuing education of physical therapist held in Gwangju in 2015 with 297 participants. The survey questionnaire consisted of 13 questions on characteristics of physical therapist, 7 questions on the level of satisfaction with continuing education, 11 questions regarding the need for continuing education, and 8 questions concerning how to improve continuing education. Results: As for the level of satisfaction with the content of continuing education, the survey results indicated that there were significant differences across respondents' age and career period. Regarding the level of satisfaction with the environment in which continuing education was provided; significant differences were observed across respondents' age, education, marital status, monthly pay, career period, and service period. Regarding the level of satisfaction with the expense in which continuing education was provided; significant differences were observed across respondents' sex, age, education, marital status, dependent family, monthly pay, career period, and position. In terms of the level of satisfaction with the operation method in which continuing education was carried out, there were significant differences across respondents' age, education, and career period. Conclusion: The survey found the level of satisfaction with continuing education to be average among physical therapist in Gwangju and Jeonnam. In addition, as for ways to take continuing education courses for those who have never taken it, online education was mentioned the most. Therefore, there is a need for advertising online continuing education.

대학 연구실험실 안전환경과 교육시간에 대한 만족도 조사 (A Satisfaction Survey On the Safety Environment and Education Time in University Laboratories)

  • This paper seeks to survey and analyze the status of obligatory execution from key institutional aspects that have taken effect according to laws on creating safe environment for laboratory and of general details such as the level of satisfaction on the part of people engaged in research activity regarding the laws after they have taken effect. The subjects of this study were MA and PhD graduate students in science and engineering who are primarily involved in research. This questionnaire survey was focused on finding basic data required for safety education for researcher and for efficient safety management by examining the correlation between education time and level of satisfaction. The collected data were analyzed by using frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, one way anova by SPSS12 package. The results obtained by this study are as follow. 1) Awarences of safety management rules, ordinary inspection, safety education were around 70% and other law clauses were around 50%. 2) The general satisfaction after the Laboratory Safety Act enforcement was usual level with 4.72 points in 7. 3) Researchers demanded ordinary inspection and protective equipment in a safe environmental composition. 4) The safety education time for improvement of a safe consciousness level was needed 12h or 24h at 1 years.

The Comparative Study on the Satisfaction of the Physical Therapy facilities in the front Military hospitals and Divisions

  • Objective: This study is about the physical therapy facilities and environmental and service satisfaction of patients visiting in the front military hospitals and divisions. Design: Survey study Methods: Prior to this survey, 28 users of the front division and military hospital were surveyed in advance to verify the survey through reliability analysis. For this survey, 1,300 questionnaires were distributed to seven frontline divisions and three military hospitals, of which 578 military hospitals and 479 divisions were collected. Among them, 1,042 pieces of data were used for the analysis, excluding 15 questionnaires that exceeded the research period of the division. Analysis methods used Cronbach-α and multiple regression for mean comparison analysis, factor analysis for validation, and reliability verification to verify differences between groups. Results: As a result of the satisfaction analysis, the division's stage satisfaction was higher than that of military hospitals, and as a result of analyzing the satisfaction items by sector, accessibility, re-visit doctors, and professionalism accounted for a large portion in the field of physical therapy services. As a result of a regression analysis, the factors that affect the satisfaction of physical therapy had the greatest impact on facility and environmental satisfaction, and expertise in physical therapy services. Conclusions: In the future, it will be necessary to improve the comfort of the physical therapy room and the expertise of physical therapy in order to improve the satisfaction level of physical therapy at military medical facilities.
