The human body composed of concave and convex curvatures, and the current 3D scanning technology which involves inherent measurement errors make it difficult to extract distinct curvature plot directly. In this study, a method of extracting the clear curvature plot and its application to the cycling pants design were proposed. We have developed the ergonomic pattern from the 3D human body reflecting cycling posture. For the ergonomic design line on the 3D human body, the 3D information on the lower part of four male bodies with flexed posture was analyzed. The 3D scan data of four subjects were obtained using Cyberware. As results, the iteration of the tessellated shell was executed 100 times to obtain optimized curvature plots of the muscles on the body surface, and the boundaries of the curvature plots were applied to the design lines. Maximum(Max-pattern) and mean curvature plots(Mean-pattern) were adopted in the design line of the cycling pants, and performance of those lines was compared with that of conventional princess line(Con-pattern). The average error of total area and length in the 2D pattern developed from the 3D flexed body surface in this study were very minimal($4.58cm^2$(0.19%) and 0.15mm(0.46%)), which was within the range of tolerable limits in clothing production. The pattern obtained from the flexed body reflecting cycling posture already included the contraction and extension of the cycling skin, so that the extra ease for movement and good fit was not need to be considered.
Weed control tests with 6 herbicides which seem to have selectivity of absorption by roots of rice were carried out by the rate of application, the depth of incorporation and the time of application in comparison with the after transplanting treatment of MO in SiCL soil. Soil-incorporated treatment of Ronstar, Saturn, TOK and Saturn·5 were applied before transplanting and soil surface treatment of Machete, PCP and MON·0385 were applied. The results are summarized as follows: 1. Initial crop injury and growth Soil surface treatment before transplanting of PCP of 1,000g ai/10a caused heavy initial injury, which was recovered from by about 50 days after application. Saturn-S at 4kg prod.110a caused slight crop injury sectionally, which was soon recovered from. And little crop injury was caused by other treatments. 2. Effect in weed control Excellent weed control of 90 to 97.7 percent was obtained, when measured 27 days after transplanting, by all the treatments. More than 90 percent weed control was maintained for about 73 days after transplanting by all the treatments of Ronstar and Saturn-S of 3 to 4kg prod./10a. The treatments of MON-0385 of 175g ai/10a and TOK of 280g ai/10a showed somewhat poor weed control. 3. Yield No reduction of yield was observed at all the plots except the non·weeded plot at which 11.4 percent yield reduction was observed compared with the hand weeding plot. The yield was increased by the 1 DBT and 2 DBT treatments of Machete of 210g ai/10a, the treatments of Ronstar of 60g ai/10a, when incorporated to the depth of 2.5 and 12cm, the incorporation treatment of Saturn-S of 3kg prod./10a and 1 DBT treatment of MON-0385 of 175g ai/10a.
This experiment was carried out to Investigate the environmental changes of rhizosphere, behavior of nutrient components in soul, and nutrients uptake and growth response of the tobacco plant in the condition that mulch as polyethylene film, had been removed on the ridge at the 50th day after transplanting in comparison with continuous mulching condition. The results obtained were as follows; 1. After rainfall, soil moisture content In the plow layer was greatly increased without mulch in comparison with that of the plot with mulch. As a result, leaf water potential of tobacco plant without mulch was higher than that with mulch. 2. Available nutrients such as $NH_4-N, \;NO_3-N$, and total salts in the plow layer of the plot without mulch tended to be Increased, and especially accumulated on the surface layer owing to the redistribution of soil water by rainfall during the latter growth stage after removing mulch. 3. Nutrients uptake by tobacco was much more enhanced in the plot without mulch and resulted in higher contents of total nitrogen, $NO_3-N, \;P_2O_5, \;and K_5O$ in the tobacco leaf Especially higher content of nitrogen caused the delay of maturity resulting In the increased of dry weight of top part of tobacco in the plot without mulch toned to be Increased in comparison with that in mulching condition. Content of total nitrogen, $NO_3-N$, and nicotine in flue-lured leaves was much higher in the plot without. mulch than in mulching condition, but lower content of reducing sugar in the plot without mulch resulted in lower quality of tobacco.
This study was carried out to investigate optimum application rate with mixed organic fertilizer for chemical fertilizer alternative where the paddy rice (Chucheong) was cultivated in clay loam of paddy field. The mixed organic fertilizer were applied at 0, 50, 100 and 150% levels of recommended nitrogen by soil testing plot compared with plot of chemical fertilizer (nitrogen, phosphate and potash), respectively. The ammonium nitrogen content in paddy soil and surface water of mixed organic fertilizer 100% plot were higher than chemical fertilizer plot. The absorbed amount of nitrogen and nitrogen use efficiency by rice plant in mixed organic fertilizer 100% plot were higher than chemical fertilizer plot. The number of tillers on rice at 30 days and 60 days after transplanting mixed organic fertilizer 100% plot were many more than chemical fertilizer plot. The milled rice yield of mixed organic fertilizer 100% plot was increased by 4% than chemical fertilizer plot. The optimum application rate of mixed organic fertilizer was as follows ; $OAR_{MOF}(Mg\;ha^{-1})=[(NAR_{ST}{\div}NC_{MOF}/1,000{\times}0.93)/1,000]$ ($OAR_{MOF}$ : Optimum application rate of mixed organic fertilizer, NARST : Nitrogen application rate($kg\;ha^{-1}$) by soil testing, $NC_{MOF}$ : Nitrogen content($g\;kg^{-1}$) of mixed organic fertilizer, and $0.93:124.3kg\;ha^{-1}/133.0kg\;ha^{-1}$, respectively).

Purpose : To assess the methods for the clinical evaluation of the longitudinal bone changes after implantation of tooth ash-plaster mixture into the defect area of human jaws. Materials and methods : Tooth ash-plaster mixtures were implanted into the defects of 8 human jaws. 48 intraoral radiograms taken with copper step wedge as reference at soon, 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 6th week after implantation of mixture were used. X-ray taking was standardized by using Rinn XCP device customized directly to the individual dentition with resin bite block. The images inputted by Quick scanner were digitized and analyzed by NIH image program. Cuequivalent values were measured at the implanted sites from the periodic digital images. Analysis was performed by the bidirectional subtraction with color enhancement and the surface plot of resliced contiguous image. The obtained results by the two methods were compared with Cuequivalent value changes. Results : The average determination coefficient of Cu-equivalent equations was 0.9988 and the coefficient of variation of measured Cu values ranged from 0.08~0.10. The coefficient of variation of Cu-equivalent values measured at the areas of the mixture and the bone by the conversion equation ranged from 0.06 ~0.09. The analyzed results by the bidirectional subtraction with color enhancement were coincident with the changes of Cu-equivalent values. The surface plot of the resliced contiguous image showed the three dimensional view of the longitudinal bone changes on one image and also coincident with Cu-equivalent value changes after implantation. Conclusion : The bidirectional subtraction with color enhancement and the surface plot of the resliced contiguous image was very effective and reasonable to analyze clinically and qualitatively the longitudinal bone change. These methods are expected to be applicable to the non-destructive test in other fields.

Activated carbon was synthesized from coconut shells. The Brunauer, Emmett and Teller surface area of the synthesized activated carbon was found to be 1640 m2/g with a pore volume of 1.032 cm3/g. The average pore diameter of the activated carbon was found to be 2.52 nm. By applying the size-strain plot method to the X-ray diffraction data, the crystallite size and the crystal strain was determined to be 42.46 nm and 0.000489897, respectively, which indicate a perfect crystallite structure. The field emission scanning electron microscopy image showed the presence of well-developed pores on the surface of the activated carbon. The presence of important functional groups was shown by the Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy spectrum. The adsorption of methyl orange onto the activated carbon reached 100% after 12 min. Kinetic analysis indicated that the adsorption of methyl orange solution by the activated carbon followed a pseudo-second-order kinetic mechanism (R2 > 0.995). Therefore, the results show that the produced activated carbon can be used as a proper adsorbent for dye containing effluents.

Porous nano crystalline $TiO_2$ is currently used as a working electrode in a dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC). The conventional working electrode is comprised of absorption layer (particle size:~20 nm) and scattering layer (particle size:~300 nm). We inserted window layer with 10 nm particle size in order to increase transmittance and specific surface area of $TiO_2$. The electrochemical impedance spectroscope analysis was conducted to analysis characterization of the electronic behavior. The Bode phase plot and Nyquist plot were interpreted to confirm the internal resistance caused by the insertion of window layer and carrier lifetime. The photocurrent that occurred in working electrode, which is caused by rise in specific surface area, increased. Accordingly, it was found that insertion of window layer in the working electrode lead to not only effectively transmitting the light, but also increasing of specific surface area. Therefore, it was concluded that insertion of window layer contributes to high conversion efficiency of DSSCs.
The development and introduction of a Maritime Autonomous Surface Ship (MASS) are some of the most important changes leading to the fourth industrial era in the maritime area. The term 'MASS' refers to a ship operating independently, without human intervention, to reduce maritime accidents caused by human errors. Recent UK findings MASS also noted that particularly the dynamic positioning system will be considered to apply as newly function to a MASS. The DP system, a ship system developed decades ago and used for specific purposes like offshore operations, provides various functions to facilitate the accurate movements of the vessel, and operators can make decisions within the DP system, in addition to the ordinary ship system. In this paper, it would like to present the connection and application method with the main technical elements of the DP system in connection with the main technology of the DP system to achieve the safe operation of a MASS. In particular, among various position reference systems, the capability plot function of DP system, and the "follow target" mode in the operation mode are attractive functions that can contribute to the safe operation of autonomous ships.
To seek for restoration method of Abies koreana forest with planting seedlings, Abies koreana seedlings(2, 3 and 5 year old) were planted by date(spring and summer) and surface treatment (coir-mat, coir-net and control) at Janggumok area in Hallasan. Survival rate and shoot growth of the seedlings were measured and compared by planting date, seedling age and surface treatments. For summer planting, survival rates of the seedlings are increased with increasing seedling ages, and those are not differed between surface treatments. For spring planting, survival rates of the seedlings are increased with decreasing seedling ages, and those are not differed between surface treatments. For summer planting, shoot growth of the seedlings are significantly differed between surface treatments. Shoot growth of the seedlings was the highest value 2.11mm at coir-matted plot, and the lowest value 1.49mm at control B)lot. Shoot growth of the seedlings are not differed between the seedling ages, but the highest shoot growth was 2.26mm at coir-matted and 3-year old plot. For spring planting, survival rates and shoot growth of the seedlings are not differed between seedling ages and surface treatments.
This study was carried out in order to investigate sterilization effect and to extend storage periods of the Rubus coreanus by treating with tap water (TW), electrolyzed water (EW) and aqueous chlorine dioxide ($ClO_2$). After each treatment plot was soaked with 10, 50, 100, 200 ppm in each sterilizing solution within 30 sec, each treatment was compared during the storage time at room temperature and refrigerator temperature. As results of total plate count according to temperatures and periods, the microbial sterilizing power of each treatment plot was bigger at EW and $ClO_2$ treatment plots than the TW treatment plot; however, it sharply increased on the high concentration $ClO_2$ treatment plot. Futhermore, the cold storage treatment plot had more outstanding microbial sterilizing power than the room temperature treatment plot. As a result of observing the surface of the Rubus coreanus using scanning electron microscope (SEM), no microbe was seen in EW and $ClO_2$ treatment plot. The results of measuring enzyme activity showed a more significant decrease in EW and $ClO_2$ solutions treatment plot than TW treatment plot but gradually increased with time. The contents of total polyphenol revealed similar values on each treatment. The EW and $ClO_2$ treatment of the Rubus coreanus could be considered as good methods for inhibiting microbial growth in fresh vegetables and fruit, thereby contributing to quality maintenance.
