A Study on the Safety Perception, Ethical Awareness, and Safety Activities of Nursing Students

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the level of safety perception, ethical awareness, and safety activities of nursing students for patients, and to identify the correlation and impact between them. The research design is a descriptive survey study, and the subject of the study were 197 nursing college students in G City. Safety perception, ethical awareness, and safety activity tools were used for, and the data collection period was from October 17 to 28 in 2022. T-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, Regression analysis were used to analyze data. The result of the study indicated that the average level of safety perception of nursing students was 3.72 points, the average ethical awareness of patients, professional work, and cooperators perceived by nursing students was 3.04 points, and the safety activities of nursing students were 4.20 points. In the case of safety awareness and ethics awareness, r=.327, a significant positive correlation, in the case of safety awareness and safety activities, r=.399, significant positive correlation, ethics awareness and safety activities as r=.296. And so on these results showed that high safety perception increases safety activities, and high ethical awareness increases safety activities. Therefore, we need practical and step-by-step convergence education to equip nursing students with patient safety nursing capabilities. To this end, a safer environment will be created if the social support network for the systematic application of safety education is well formed.

ON SUBCLASSES OF UNIVALENT FUNCTIONS WITH NEGATIVE COEFFICIENTS

  • The subclasses S*($\alpha,\beta,\mu$) and C*($\alpha,\beta,\mu$) ($0\leqq\alpha<1,\;0<\beta\leqq1$ and $0\leqq\mu\leqq1$) of T the class of analytic and univalent functions of the form $$f(z)=z-\sum\limit^{\infty}_{n=2}\mid a_n\mid z^n$$ have been considered. Sharp results concerning coefficients, distortion of functions belonging to S*($\alpha,\beta,\mu$) and C*($\alpha,\beta,\mu$) are determined along with a representation formula for the functions in S*($\alpha,\beta,\mu$). Furthermore, it is shown that the classes S*($\alpha,\beta,\mu$) and C*($\alpha,\beta,\mu$) are closed under arithmetic mean and convex linear combinations. Also in this paper, we find extreme points and support points for these classes.

  • An electric field due to point dipole within conductor-backed thin dielectric layer above the earth is calculated by using saddle point method When the dielectric layer is thin enough to support a cutoff mdoe, we show that the field may be approximated by sum of contributions of branch points of TE mode and poles of tM mode and that the branch points and poles contributions are interpreted as an evanescent lateral waves and leaky waves, respectively.

Implementation of Network System for Bio-physical signal Communication

  • This network system for home care realized communication by the bio-physical signal, to convey physical rhythm. Four function of displacement had point of a Vision, Somatosensory, Vestibular and CNS. Bio-physical signal was decided to design a maximum points and minimum points with 0.01unit in reference level. Bio-physical signal was checked to compound physical condition of body posture for sensory organ. There detected a measurement of Vision, Somatosensory, Vestibular, CNS and BMI. The service of network system of home can be used to support a health care system for health assistant in health care center. It will expect to manage a physical parameter for network communication.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the high school student's need for the program. The data was collected from 1125 high school students and their parents. The results of this study are like the following. 1 High school students and their parents all showed more than 3 points on the need for the program. 2. They revealed the highest need for programs on school as well as peer-related tasks and self-related tasks, respectively. On the other hand, parents were found to have the need for programs than student do. 3. Significant differences were found among students in their major, class type, and also among parents in gender of their children, class type, residential area, education status, and monthly average income. 4. Highschool-students and their parents all showed the highest points and displayed interest in selecting academic course suitable for their aptitude.

충돌해석을 이용한 전기자동차 복합소재 프레임 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on Composite Materials Frame of Electric Vehicles using Impact Analysis)

  • In this study, we designed car frames for collision analysis using carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) as the lighter composite material. The impact conditions were 100 percent frontal impact, 40 percent frontal impact, and 90 degrees side impact. The impact analysis measured the maximum stress at velocities of 20km/h and 40km/h for each condition and evaluated the vulnerable points in the car frame. Additional supports have been designed both to improve the weak points in existing vehicle frames, and to be taken into account when new parts are assembled. Our impact analysis compared the results of maximum stress on the car frame with and without the support.

  • A new method of dynamic contact force measurement between a pantograph and a contact wire is proposed in this paper The method does not require design modification of an original pantograph in order to install sensors such as load cells. Contact forces can be expressed as the sum of vertical shear forces at the support points and inertial forces. Using specially-designed strain gage rosettes. vertical shear forces at the supported points can be measured without noise mixing and thermal effects. In order to obtain contact forces from shear forces, 3 inertial force compansation methods are proposed and compared in this paper. By validation process, the new proposed measurement method is verified to be applicable to the on-line current collection test.

Multiscale Implicit Functions for Unified Data Representation

  • A variety of reconstruction methods has been developed to convert a set of scattered points generated from real models into explicit forms, such as polygonal meshes, parametric or implicit surfaces. In this paper, we present a method to construct multi-scale implicit surfaces from scattered points using multiscale kernels based on kernel and multi-resolution analysis theories. Our approach differs from other methods in that multi-scale reconstruction can be done without additional manipulation on input data, calculated functions support level of detail representation, and it can be naturally expanded for n-dimensional data. The method also works well with point-sets that are noisy or not uniformly distributed. We show features and performances of the proposed method via experimental results for various data sets.

Using Evolutionary Optimization to Support Artificial Neural Networks for Time-Divided Forecasting: Application to Korea Stock Price Index

  • This study presents the time-divided forecasting model to integrate evolutionary optimization algorithm and change point detection based on artificial neural networks (ANN) for the prediction of (Korea) stock price index. The genetic algorithm(GA) is introduced as an evolutionary optimization method in this study. The basic concept of the proposed model is to obtain intervals divided by change points, to identify them as optimal or near-optimal change point groups, and to use them in the forecasting of the stock price index. The proposed model consists of three phases. The first phase detects successive change points. The second phase detects the change-point groups with the GA. Finally, the third phase forecasts the output with ANN using the GA. This study examines the predictability of the proposed model for the prediction of stock price index.

중환자실 간호사의 직무 스트레스와 대처에 관한 연구 (A Study on Job Stress and the Coping of ICU Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study investigated job stress and coping of ICU Nurses. Method: Data was accumulated from 206 ICU nurses serving at least more than one year in 500 bed order hospitals during the period of three months from June1, to August 30, 2006. Results: The average job stress was $2.96{\pm}.95$ points, which was relatively high. The average coping was $2.55{\pm}.23$ points. Conclusion: The extent of the job stress of ICU nurses was relatively high, and they received the heaviest stress from job circumstances. For the prevention of job stress, every effort is required to analyze the causes of stress caused by job circumstances and to pose an appropriate solution. Meanwhile, job stress, needs to be controlled using a solution for the central problem, and search for social support.
