인턴십·종합설계 연계 교육 모델의 환류체계 구축 (A Feedback System for Internship & Capstone Design Integrated Program)

  • To enhance the university-industry collaboration, a novel program named as Internship & Capstone Design Integrated program (ICIP) is developed by Dongguk University. Senior students must take one Capstone design class for graduation. By participating in summer Internship and one-year Capstone Design work, practical problems given by businesses are solved. The ICIP is a Project and Internship-based course. By participating in summer internship and one-year Capstone Design work, practical problems given by businesses are solved. The internship course requires students to work in teams under mentors who work in the partner company proposed project themes. Students apply their academic experiences in constructing real projects at work under the supervision of their site mentors and academic advisor. In this regard, this study attempts to present a case study on the assessment of program outcomes using the Internship.

  • 본 연구에서는 재가복지서비스를 위해 인적자원을 개발하고 이러한 인적자원을 효율적으로 관리하기 위한 관리체계 모형을 제시하고자 부산지역의 청소년 직장인 주부 장애인 노인집단을 대상으로 조사를 실시하여, 조사 결과와 관련이론들을 바탕으로 재가복지서비스에 있어서 중요한 인적자원인 자원봉사자의 개발 및 관리체계 모형을 모집, 교육 및 훈련, 배치, 관리 및 지도감독, 그리고 평가의 다섯 단계로 구성하여 제시했다. 본 연구의 연구방법은 국내외의 선행연구 및 재가복지서비스와 관련되는 각종 문헌들의 검토를 통한 문헌연구와 사회조사를 통한 실증적 연구를 병행하였다. 본 연구의 결과로 제시된 모형은 자원봉사센터와 재가복지서비스를 제공하고 있는 자원봉사자 활용기관들의 상호연계 및 협력을 전제로 구성되었다. 이 좌형은 인적 자원 개발측면과 관리측면이 분리되어 있는 것이 아니라 단계별로 강조점이 다르긴 하지만 전 과정을 통해서 통합적으로 이루어지고 있다.

우리나라 학교보건사업(學校保健事業) 변천에 관(關)한 연구 (A Study on the Analysis of School Health Program by the Chronological Events in Korea)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify and name clusters of school health program, and to describe some of the characteristics of administratie supports. The literature, materials and public documents were analysed by the chronological events from 1945 to 1989. The result of this study is as follows : 1. A brief summary of the history of school health program was included as an introduction to the analysis of the current programs of school health. Five current school health-program clusters were identified from findings of a study of programs : 1) physical assessment, laboratory examination and health services for the students, 2) health instruction 3) healthful living condition (environmental health), 4) health clinic management, 5) administrative supports. 2. The earliest school- based efforts focused on communicable disease pevention by the ministry of health and social affairs. Annual medical inspection (health assessment) for school children for eyes, ears, nose, and throat were mandated nation-wide in 1951 by physical assessment Act. 3. In 1979, the health instruction of schools to improve the health status of students was improved by health department in the Ministry of Education 4. Experiences in healthful environment were basic components of the school health program. However, without careful planning and supervision these experiences were not contributed to the goal of school health. The formal program of school health environment were initiated in 1979 5. In 1980, the guidelines of school health clinic management were prepared by Ministry of Education such as guidance of essential degrees and facilities in school health clinic. 6. Two patterns of administration of school health programs existed in Korea. In one the school health department operated its own health program and in the other the physical education department operated the health program within the school system. The school health department was established in Ministry of Education from 1979 to 1982. Improved school health programs will be a key element in the comprehensive national child health policy which I will ask the Ministry of Education to develop for the Department.

대학에서의 스틸 하우스(Steel House) 교육과 프로그램의 효율적 운영방안 - 한국기술교육대학교의 사례를 중심으로 - (A Study on Effective Education Program for Steel House)

  • 건축교육의 궁극적 목적은 아름답고 안전한 건축물을 기능적으로 잘 설계하고 시공하는 것에 있다고 볼 수 있다. 그러한 측면에서 건축교육에 있어서 설계와 시공은 비록 서로 다른 영역으로 분리되어 있지만 그것은 단계적 구분에 불과하다. 따라서 건축을 교육하는 대학에서도 이러한 두 영역을 접목하는 교과과정을 프로그램으로 개발하여야 필요가 있으며, 스틸하우스 교육은 그러한 목적에 가장 적합하다고 할 수 있다. 한국기술교육대학교 건축공학부에서는 이러한 측면에서 지난 10년 전부터 스틸하우스 교육을 시행하였고, 건축학과 건축공학 전공이 분리된 이후에도 두 전공의 공통 교과목으로 운영하였다. 일반적으로 단기간에 이루어지는 스틸하우스 교육과정이 단순작업을 위주로 편성되어 있는 것에 반하여 대학에서의 교육 프로그램은 이론과 설계 교육 프로그램을 추가하여 졸업 이후 단순작업자가 아닌 중간관리자(실천기술공학자)로서의 역할을 담당할 수 있도록 하였다. 본 연구에서는 대학교에서 스틸하우스 교육프로그램을 효과적으로 운영하기 위한 지침이 될 수 있도록 교과편성과 프로그램 구성 및 운영에 관한 내용을 제시하고자 하였다.

  • 본 연구는 중소기업청 주관으로 시행되고 있는 시니어창업역량교육프로그램의 효과성을 평가하고 창업교육내용 및 교육환경이 창업교육만족과 창업의지에 미치는 영향을 탐구하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구를 위해 동 프로그램의 수행기관인 H대학교의 교육프로그램에 참여한 교육생 44명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였다. 자료수집방법으로는 구조화된 질문지를 사용하였으며, 주된 자료분석방법으로는 대응표본 t검증과 경로분석방법을 사용하였다. 연구결과 시니어창업역량교육프로그램이 시니어들의 창업의지 제고에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 창업교육내용과 창업교육환경이 창업교육만족과 창업의지에 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 정책적 함의를 논의하였으며, 향후 연구방향을 제시하였다.

정부가족계획사업의 피임보급전략에 관한 소고 (Review of Contraceptive Distribution Strategy for the Korean National Family Planning Program)

  • During the period of 1962 through 1981, a total of 11. 7 million cummulative acceptors have received contraceptive services under the national family planning program. The number of annual acceptors have steadly increased from 151, 200 in 1963 to 842, 200 in 1975, and since then it has maintained the range of 600, 000 to 800, 000 acceptors per year. From the beginning of the program, the IUD had been the principal method of contraception provided by the government program until 1976, at which time the government made female sterilization services available thorough the introduction of the laparoscopy method. The popularity of female sterilization has increased very rapidly during the last few years. Out of 614, 200 program acceptors in 1981, the proportion of female sterilization and IUD acceptors were virtually the same(26.8% and 27.2% respectively). Considering various anticipated problems such as a large proportion of contraceptive users for the fertility termination and the high discontinuation rates of IUD and other traditional method, the government has emphasized the distribution of female sterilization and deemphasized condom and pill contraceptives since 1978. However, the recent service statistics has revealed that the acceptance rate of female sterilization has steadly declined since 1979. Thus, the purpose of this analysis is to review the current government policy on contraceptive distribution with emphasis of female sterilization by estimating the prospect of sterilization acceptablilty. According to the Fifth Five-Year Plan for Family Planning Program(1982-1986) the annual average target of sterilization was set up to secure 230, 000 acceptors by the government sector during the period. If the sterilization target is to be met as planned, about 80 percent of exposed women aged 30-44 will be remained as sterilized women in 1985. This means the the high acceptance rate of sterilization shown in the past years can not be expected, unless the acceptors' age of sterilization is drastically lowered below 30 years. Accordingly, the current policy on contraceptive distribution with emphasis on sterilization should be gradually changed to encourage target population to use contraceptives for birth spacing by increasing access to such contraceptives as IUDs, pills, and condoms, and to improve continuation rates through better program management system including target setting, acceptors' follow-up, supervision, and evaluation system.

학교구강보건사업이 초등학교 아동들의 유치 및 영구치 우식실태에 미치는 영향 (Effects of a School - Based Oral Health Care Program on the Prevalence of Dental Caries in Primary School Children)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of oral health care programs in 3 school-based oral health care center among primary schoolchildren. Methods: School-based oral health care programs included fluoride mouth rinsing, pit and fissure sealing for permanent premolars and molars, fluoride gel application and chewing of xylitol candy. All of the programs were carried out by one dental hygienist among 'D' primary schoolchildren in Daegu city under the supervision of a dentist. Baseline dental examinations were completed and preventive care was implemented for 544 children during one year. All of the children visited a school-based oral health care center every three months for a regular check-up. The final oral examination was conducted from March 15 to April 1, 2004. The data analysis data was made on the basis of SAS 8.01. Mean differences between 2003 and 2004 data were compared by paired t-test. Corresponding p-values were considered significant at values less than 0.05. Results: The DMF rate and DFT index were reduced to 8.0% and 8.4% during one year respectively, but there were no statistically significant differences. The DMF rate was significantly reduced (16.3%) after a one year program of school-based oral health care practice. The DMFT(Decay Missing Filling Tooth) index was also reduced compared to 2003 throughout the entire grade. Conclusion: School-based oral health care programs can reduce the prevalence of dental caries prevalence among schoolchildren during one year. This program also improved the oral health capacity of schoolchildren. It is recommend that the school-based oral health care program should be extended to every primary school in Korea.

영유아 성장발달 스크리닝 프로그램의 개발 및 운영결과 분석 (The Study on the Development and Analysis of 'Child Growth and Developmental Screening Program')

  • This is an underlying study for expanding child growth and developmental screening program, which had been implemented as a part of maternal child health service in a certain public health center located in P City. This study attempted to develop system model to discover, consult and follow-up developmental disabilities in children in early stage. For the purpose of providing groundwork for further development of screening program, the system model was analyzed and evaluated. One of the focuses of this study was developing practical tool that can aid small number staffs of public health center to handle large number of patients. 9 types of developmental checklist by key month was developed to support understaffed public health center. These checklists were also supplied to other public health centers, greatly improving qualitative and quantitative development of screening project. Also, the 4-step program of operating and managing child growth and developmental screening was proved to be quite effective. Total 632 children were evaluated and 21 of them were suspected to have developmental problem. Among these children, 8 children were determined to receive regular supervision of public health center. Other 13 children were recommended to visit professional institution, but only 7 of them actually visited institution. Four of these children who visited professional institution are currently receiving treatment, while the other 3 children were determined to require close observation. Five times of screening education were provided to the staffs in public health center and personnel in charge of children in every district public center in P City. The purpose of this training was to improve individuals' capability to implement project and to establish basis for expanding child growth and developmental screening program. The participants were guided to have continuous attention for the project, and their knowledge, skill and recognition were greatly improved through educational training. Also, professional child consulting and education, including lecture for baby food and baby food menu exhibition, were given to parents. Through this opportunity, parents acquired higher understanding about baby food while the local residents' recognition for maternal child health service was greatly improved.

Effect of School-Based Fluoride Mouth Rinsing Program in a Socially Deprived Community

  • Purpose: The objective of this study was to evaluate the caries prevention effect of school-based fluoride mouth rinsing (FMR) program implemented in the Hanuul district of Mongolia, which has a very low socioeconomic status and extremely poor infrastructure for oral health. Materials and Methods: One hundred and seventy children aged from 6 to 8 years of the FMR school and 187 children aged from 6 to 8 years of the control school completed the baseline survey. Children from the FMR school rinsed with 0.05% sodium fluoride everyday under supervision, while those from the control school did not. Adjusted caries preventive fraction (CPF) for 2 years were calculated to evaluate the effect of the FMR program. Result: After 2 years, 288 schoolchildren remained in the study. Decayed, missing or filled permanent teeth (DMFT) and index of the FMR and the control schools at baseline were 0.11 and 0.12, respectively, and the average DMFT increment of the FMR and the control schools after 2 years were 0.35 and 0.65, respectively. The adjusted CPF of DMFT was 48.5%. Conclusion: These findings show that a school-based FMR is an effective caries preventive program in a socially deprived community with poor infrastructure for oral health.
