This study developed an ergonomic Korean female military winter jacket and (inner and outer) pattern in in order to increase dimension and operational suitability for military missions. First we developed the 1st development pattern and sample jackets with improved dimensions and operational suitability based on a previous investigation of fitness and motion suitability of Korean female military winter jackets (inner and outer) and motion suitability by a wearing test. The evaluation result of fitness for the 1st development pattern were over 4.0 (5.0 Likert scale) for both the inner and outer jacket, a positive result and the result of motion suitability were over 3.5 in both the inner and outer jacket except for the neck front part by collar height. However, we did not modify the collar height because decreases in warmth and military regulations. We also evaluated appearance by experts that showed good results in both the inner and outer jacket. Finally, we developed a final pattern based on evaluation results and military regulations. Existing military uniform research was conducted mainly on male soldiers. Beginning with this study, we expect to expand research on the development of military uniform patterns suitable for a female soldier body type.

본 연구는 도시토지이용의 적합성분석을 실시하는데 있어 GSIS와 인공신경망의 유기적인 결합을 시도해 보았다. 인공신경망은 학습이라는 과정을 통해 신경망 노드(node)간의 연결강도를 합리적으로 결정할 수 있는 이점이 있다. 이러한 점에서 공간분석에서 요구되는 인자간의 경중률과 신경망의 연결강도는 대체가 가능하리라 판단된다. 본 연구를 수행하기 위해 두 종류의 신경망을 구성하였다. 1차 신경망은 토지이용별 적합성 분석에 적용했으며, 2차 신경망은 최적의 토지이용패턴을 분석하기 위해 구성하였다 이들 신경망은 C++로 작성된 프로그램에 의해 구현된 최급강하법에 의한 역전파 알고리즘에 의해 학습을 실시하였으며, 활성화 함수는 시그모이드 함수를 사용하였다. 분석결과는 현행 용도지역제에서 주거, 상업, 공업, 녹지에 대한 토지이용 적합도면과 4가지 유형의 토지이용에 대한 대상지역의 최적토지이용패턴을 제시한 도면으로서 Arc/Info의 Grid 형식으로 작성하였다. 또한 토지이용별 적합도면상에 나타난 적합지역과 최적토지이용패턴은 위치적인 면과 공간 구성에 있어 실제의 도시토지이용계획의 이론적인 개념에 매우 합치되는 분포형태를 보였다.

본 연구는 20대 비만 여성에게 적합한 보디스 원형 개발을 위해 프랑스, 일본 패션교육기관의 원형과 우리나라 교육용 원형 1개, 우리나라 산업체용 원형 2개 등 총 5개 패턴 제도법을 비교·분석하였다. 이를 통해 플러스 사이즈 여성 의복 개발에 적합한 보디스 원형 패턴 제도법을 알아보고자 하였다. 패턴제도를 위해 패턴1은 앞품, 뒤품, 젖가슴둘레, 목둘레, 등길이 등 가장 많은 신체치수를 적용하였고, 패턴2, 패턴4, 패턴5는 젖가슴둘레, 등길이를 기준으로 모든 패턴을 제작하였다. 외관평가 결과, 패턴3이 앞중심길이의 적합성, 옆허리둘레선 위치의 적합성 항목을 제외하고 모든 항목에서 가장 우수한 패턴으로 평가되었다. 그러나 옆선의 수직, 옆허리둘레선 위치의 적합성, 뒤진동둘레 위치 및 형태의 적합성, 뒤어깨다트 위치의 적합성 등의 항목에서는 부적합한 것으로 평가되었다. 보디스 원형은 젖가슴둘레 치수를 기준으로 대부분의 패턴 제도가 이루어지나 비만 여성의 경우 목둘레 설정, 어깨길이 설정에 있어서는 다른 제도법이 필요할 것으로 생각된다. 또, 복부 돌출로 앞중심길이 설정 방법에 대한 개발도 요구되었다.

This study was to develop an ergonomic Korean male military winter jackets (inner and outer) pattern. First, we developed a prototype pattern and sample jackets based on a previous investigation for fitness and motion suitability of Korean male military winter jackets and evaluated fitness and motion suitability by a wearing test. The evaluation results were positive with an over 3.0 (5.0 Likert scale) for both the inner and outer jacket. However, a relatively low score was shown in the sleeve length and collar front height at the inner jacket and shown in hem circumference, neck circumference, elbow and front neck at the outer jacket. Next, we developed the secondary pattern and sample jacket reflecting the prototype evaluation result and executed expert evaluation. The result showed that the ease amount was appropriate (except for the collar back height) and the appearance was good. Finally, we developed a final pattern that showed good results after evaluation at a Korean military army base.

This study investigates the problems of fitness and motion suitability for Korean female military winter jackets (inner and outer) and provides data for new pattern development. We analyzed fitness and motion suitability by a questionnaire survey with 39 Korean female soldiers and a wearing evaluation with 8 subjects of the female soldeier's center size. The results of the study are as follows. 1. In the survey result on the fitness with female soldiers, fit of collar showed a score lower than 3.0 for the inner jacket and front interscye breadth, chest circumference, collar height on the outer jacket. The result on the motion suitability showed that both the inner jacket and the outer jacket were above 3.0 (moderate), indicating that the dissatisfactory factors were not large. 2. The wearing evaluation results with the subjects of central army female size, discomfort factor derived the chest circumference, neck circumference, item of the hem circumference and collar height on the outer jacket. This study is meaningful in evaluating the current military winter jacket of female soldiers and it is expected to be used as a basic data for future pattern improvement of military winter jacket for female soldiers.

Protective clothing for riot policewomen is worn by policewomen to protect their body at suppressing a riot. Plastic guards of Nylon 66 material are attached to the base of E.V.A. Foam material. Protective clothing for riot policewomen consists of a jacket, guards for arms and legs, upper arm braces, and thigh pads. This study was aimed to develop the base pattern of the jacket to protect the torso and to improve the body suitability and the adaptability to movements of protective clothing for riot policewomen. Since current protective clothing worn by riot policewomen is manufactured with the same design of protective clothing for riot policemen, the body suitability and the adaptability to movements are not very satisfactory for policewomen who has different body structure than from riot policemen. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to reflect the body size and characteristics of riot policewomen and develop the base pattern of protective clothing with better body suitability and adaptability to movements. In this respect, amount and place of dots on the jacket were differently designed, made and evaluated by fitting test. The base with the best evaluation was selected as the final experiment clothing to demonstrate its superiority compared with the existing protective clothing.

The Purpose of this study was to research and develop a Pattern of tight Pants, featuring excellent appearance, movement and suitability for the lower body, which are widely used as a basic item for modem dance, aerobic dance and dance sports, and to provide manufacturing data for the pants. This study was carried out with 118 People who majored in dance, using questionnaires asking questions about their understanding and preference of dancewear The experimental dancewear was produced, using 5 kinds of patterns for tight pants on the market, to find out the most excellent pattern in appearance and movement performance. Then, the most excellent pattern was again improved to produce a pattern for this study. The result of this study is summarized as follows. 1. Regarding shops where they purchased dancewear exclusive shops accounted for 97%, their average price was ￦30,000 to ￦50,000(51%), and dancewear separated between the upper and lower halves was most preferred(56%). Cotton span was preferably used for a dancewear material(71%), and their dissatisfaction of a fit accounted for 38% which appeared to be highly unsatisfied with its suitability. 2. When S types of experimental dancewear prepared with a comparative pattern were tested by the senses, it was shown that the comparative pattern of experimental wear number 5 with a strip w3s excellent in movement functions and appearance. 3. The basic items necessary to design the tight pants' study pattern were categorized into waist circumference, hip circumference, crotch depth and slacks length. The shrinkages of 15% in width, 10% in crotch length md 20% in inside leg length were applied, respectively, referring to previous studies and the experimental dancewears' comparative patterns. 4. When the improved study pattern for this study was tested by the senses, it showed higher scores in movement functions and appearance than the comparative pattern did, which confirmed the study pattern's improvement of functions and appearance.

The suitability of the pattern manufactured with the development figure was considered by reviewing the development conditions that can be directly connected to the basic pattern in the human body surface development figure with the cast bandage method. The method to prepare the sleeve basic pattern was based on the cylindrical surface development method, and the sleeve basic pattern covering the 45 and 90 degrees momentum of the arm-movement was made by using the cast-type body surface development figure prepared with the horizontal line of the sleeve hem placed horizontally in the plan and by combining the cast-type body surface development figure in the standing position with the figure in the moving position. The test clothing was prepared with the sleeve pattern adding the bodice pattern in the standing position and the momentum and was worn on the FRP replica. The relationship theory of the body surface development figure with the pattern was derived by reviewing the suitability from the wearing state. The sleeve-cap height of the sleeve basic pattern resulted in about 80% in the standing position when the needs for a physical activity are 45 degrees and the about 50% when the needs for a physical activity are 90 degrees. The additional size of the diagonal length of the sleeve-cap could be set as "0" if the sleeve-cap height is low by 50% and as 50% of the additional size in the standing position if the sleeve-cap height is 80%.

Objectives : The aim of this study is to verify if the translation of chronic low back pain questionary is done properly. Methods : We used pattern identification of chronic low back pain in the guideline suggested by Ministry of Food and Drug Safety when making the questionnaire. And we used expressions which four native korean speakers who have bachelor's degree on chinese and teach related subjects in university have agreed on for two times. Results : We examined translated sentences about 40 symptoms according to 9 large categories on the questionnaire and corrected them into agreed expressions. Conclusions : In this study, we carried out evaluations on the suitability of the translations of categories which identify symptoms of low back pain. From now on, it is necessary to verify the degree of accuracy of question items that have been subjected to translation verification in clinical diagnosis. Furthermore considering the characteristics of patients with low back pain, we think diagnostic tools which reflects objective diagnosis results other than diagnostic identification are needed in the clinical field.

Originating in South Korea, Taekwondo has been globally popular among individuals who desire to improve their health in a unique fashion. The Taekwondo uniform, one of the essential factors within the sport, needs to possess both functionality and size suitability to support dynamic movements within Taekwondo. This study investigated the development of patterns in Taekwondo uniforms by suggesting patterns that reflect physical suitability derived from appearance tests and movement functionality tests of the uniforms. More specifically, we selected a sample uniform and conducted a dressing test, which considered both the aesthetics and the functionality of the garment. Then, we considered size suitability, which allowed us to design practical Taekwondo uniform patterns that encompassed more variation in body sizes of both men and women. The result of the dressing test was that women's uniforms typically required more factors compared to men's uniforms due to women's relatively smaller physiques. Based on this result, we revised the pattern to also encompass the minor differences in uniforms between men and women. In the end, the Taekwondo uniforms for women required more modifications than those for men.
