A Suggestion for Randomized Response Technique using Fuzzy Logic

  • Randomized response technique is a survey technique for eliminating evasive answer bias. But this technique has a problem. This procedure suffers from linguistic expression in randomizing device. Thus for solving the problem, in this paper, we suggested the randomized response technique using fuzzy logic.

Automatic Suggestion for PubMed Query Reformulation

  • Query reformulation is an interactive process of revising user queries according to the query results. To assist biomedical researchers in this process, we present novel methods for automatically generating query reformulation suggestions. While previous work on query reformulation focused on addition of words to user queries, our method can deal with three types of query reformulation (i.e., addition, removal and replacement). The accuracy of the method for the addition type is ten times better than PubMed's "Also try", while the execution time is short enough for practical use.

경관영향평가제도의 개선에 관한 연구 - 사전환경성검토와 환경영향평가를 중심으로 - (A Study on Improvements of Landscape Impact Assessment - EIA and PER in Priority -)

  • This study intends to analysis problems and propose of EIA(Environmental Impact Assessment) and PER(Pre-Environmental Review) especially on division of landscape impacts. The problems of EIA and PER are first, on analysis of existing conditions side, insufficiency of the list of landscape elements and their descriptions and presentations, and the number of viewpoints and each validity second, on estimation of landscape impacts, the methods and techniques of estimation and simulation, and the process of impact estimation, third, on suggestion of reduction plans, reduction devices covering impacts, the lack of influence reduction forecasting devices, the deficiency of execution power of reduction plans, finally, the systematic connection of impact estimation with existing conditions analysis and reduction plans. Therefore, on each step from existing condition analysis to reduction plan suggestion, the solutions to each problem are proposed.

  • 이 연구는 부산 울산, 경남 지역 23개 대학도서관의 온라인목록 검색시스템을 분석하였다. 이 도서관 목록들의 검색을 위한 자료 유형 구분, 검색을 위한 접근점, 자료검색의 조건들(검색어 조합방식, 검색어 일치방식, 검색의 상세 수준)은 다양하고 서로 달랐다. 이러한 결과와 그 평가를 토대로 온라인목록 검색시스템의 자료 유형 구분, 접근점 종류, 검색조건 표준화를 위한 방안을 제시하였다.

초고층 빌딩 건설공사의 시스템안전 방안 연구 (A study on the system safety plan of skyscraper construction work)

  • In this paper, a research was carried out to extract the more concrete and systematic method for the safety management of skyscraper construction. Here, the most risky processes in the construction of skyscrapers were extracted through the general risk evaluation for safety management processes and their characteristics and trends were analyzed for the suggestion of safety management methods and safety inspection factors in the construction of skyscrapers, as well as for the suggestion of prevention measures for major disasters. The result of this paper will be well used as a basic data in establishing the manual necessary for executing the construction of skyscrapers more safely than the present where there is no specific direction for the safe management of skyscraper construction yet.

우리나라 정보시스템 연구에서 근거이론방법론 현황 분석과 적용 지침 제시 (An Analysis of Current State of Grounded Theory Methodology in Korean Information Systems Research with Suggestion of its Application Guidelines)

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to analyze the current state of grounded theory methodology in Korea information systems studies and to suggest its application strategies. Design/methodology/approach After reviewing previous studies, this study reviewed 16 papers which adopted grounded theory methodology and analyzed these papers by two ways, research contents and methods adopted from grounded theory methodology: Main characteristics in grounded theory methodology are selected as main criteria in analysis such as data collection method, constant comparison, software use, coding ways, suggested model, proposition suggestion etc., while subject, theory/practice orientation, and role of prior knowledge are included in research contents. Findings Based on the review and analysis, this paper suggested four guidelines for adopting grounded theory methodology to information systems research in Korea: First, division of research methodology into stages. Second, explicit documentation of research process. Third, pursuit of diversity in research topics. Fourth, strengthening scale up and theoretical integration.

A Study on Concept Generation and Development for Street Furniture Design through Extracting Design Factors from the Space Design

  • This is a study on methods for designers of furniture and products to generate and develop design concept in consideration of design and existing conditions of the space when they design street furniture. In particular, in case when they participate in a process of designing new space, this study aims to reveal methods generating strategic elements and basic ideas for designing street furniture through cases study of projects by understanding and analyzing concept of overall space design and by extracting artistic elements for deployment of specific designs. First, Design DNA, which decides overall flow of design concept of street furniture, is extracted through analyses of basic concepts of space design. Next, by applying 3V Design Process, alternatives of the concept generation are suggested through methods of storytelling and design language under the two approach methods of verbalization stage and visualization stage. Also its methods were explored through suggestion of designs by developing each idea of the respective concepts into specific design vocabulary.

언어네트워크 분석방법을 활용한 유아환경교육에서 교사의 언어적 상호작용과 문제해결전략 분석 (Analysis of Teacher's Verbal Interactions and Problem Solving Strategies in Young Children's Environmental Education Using Language Network Analysis Methods)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 언어네트워크를 활용하여 교사의 언어적 상호작용과 문제해결전략의 구성을 살펴보고자 함이다. 본 연구에서는 유아환경교육 과정에서 발생한 교사의 발화를 수집하여, 범주를 개발하고 자료를 코딩하여 하위범주 간의 관계를 분석하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사의 언어적 상호작용에서는 정보제공하기가 가장 중심에 위치하여 통합하기와 함께 높은 영향력을 보였다. 둘째, 교사의 문제해결전략에서는 제안이 가장 중심에 위치하여 확산적 사고와 높은 영향력을 보였다. 셋째, 교사의 언어적 상호작용과 문제해결력을 종합적으로 살펴보면, 제안이 가장 중심에 위치하고, 정보제공하기, 확산적 사고 등이 강한 연결성을 보였다. 이외에 제안과 의사결정이 문제관심을 매개로 평가와 연결성을 보였다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 유아환경교육에 있어 교사가 유아의 문제해결과정을 지원하여 상호작용하기 위해서 유아의 반응에 맥락적으로 반응하고 이해할 수 있는 교사의 역량강화 교육이 필요함을 시사한다.

대형할인매장 이용자의 충동구매에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Impulse Buying of Large Discount Store Consumers)

  • Recently a number of large discount store and those of its users was increasing. The purpose of this study is to investigate the tendency of impulse buying and analyzes factors which influence impulse buying. The data had been collected from questionaries with 474 consumers who visit large discount store. The major statistical methods used for data analysis are frequency, percentile, mean, t-test, multiple regression analysis, one-way ANOVA, and Duncans multiple range test utilizing SPSS Win pc+program. The results of this study are as follows : 1. The four different kind of impulse buying is measured. The overall level of impulse buying is 2.76. Suggestion impulse buying(M=3.19) is the highest, and the lowest is pure impulse buying(M=2.66). 2. In the area of demographic variables is significantly different in the age of twenties and thirties(p<.05). A visit frequency and membership. In the area of in-store variables is significantly different by all factors at impulse buying except waiting time. Especially, point-of-purchase(POP) advertisement and discount sale are very important variables. A visit frequency and membership are significantly different in the area of consumer-related variables. 3. Waiting time, a visit frequency, a POP advertisement, and a discount sale have the positive effects on overall impulse buying. Pure impulse buying is influenced by shopping list, POP advertisement and a stores atmospher. Buying companion, membership, kind of store and waiting time have the effect on reminder impulse buying. Suggestion impulse buying is influenced by school career, shopping list and POP advertisement. Planned impulse buying is influenced by sex, POP advertisement, buying companion and discount sale.

초등학생의 창의성 계발을 위한 방안으로서 아이디어 생성 및 검토 단계에 창의적 사고 기법을 도입한 문제 해결 프로그램의 가능성 탐색 (Exploration of Problem Solving Program including Creative Thinking Skills in the Idea Generation and Verification Stages as Method for Fostering Creativity of Elementary School Student)

  • Studies showed that elementary school students had difficulties in the idea generation for creative problem solving, and they were also not to go through with the verification process for selecting idea. Thus, it may be more effective to provide an actualized idea generation and verification methods. In this study, we developed the creativity problem solving program with the attribute listing and PMI skills in the idea generation and verification stages respectively and applied it to six groups consisting of 5th elementary school students. We analyzed the creativity and the verbal interactions among the students at the level of interaction units. The analyses of the results revealed that the problem solving program with the creative thinking skills had significant effects on the fluency and originality that were sub-elements consisting creativity. In the analyses of interaction unit, the frequencies of the 'making suggestion' at the idea generation stage were high. And at the idea verification stage, the frequencies of the 'making suggestion' and 'receiving opinion' were high. Educational implications of these findings were discussed.
