  • The limits of current DN(Defense networks), private and closed network, become to reality; for Example, high expense of construction and maintenance of networks, restriction of new subscribers on DN. Therefore, a network using web environment that reflect fast development of If and IS(Information Security) technology is demanded for MND. Meeting the requirement of reliable IS system and extension and improvement of DN using common network, we can reduce the expense to extend, maintain, repair DN, form the environment that makes military business cooperate better with civil company and government agency, advance implementing Defense computing and networking service for field small size units that was a exception of Defense digitalization. But it is essential to construct DN based on common network that there are security requisites; confidentiality, integrity, availability, efficiency, log, backup, restoration, that have to be realized at demanding level for IS. This thesis suggested four measurements; replacement DN with common network to resolve the requirements of building new network and improvement of performance for private DN, linkage with common network for new requirement, distribution of traffic using common network, configuration of DN using Internet and Proposed a refinement of IS management organization to treat security threat of common network flexibly, and LAN IS standard model of DN based on the web environment.

  • Communication infrastructure of wireless sensor networks significantly tends to depend on application requirements. Gossip communication is becoming one of the promising solutions for addressing its scalability problems in providing information propagation functionality based on the P (publish)/S (subscribe) paradigm. In particular, despite the importance of both guaranteeing message delivery order required and supporting overlapping groups in sensor networks, there exist little research works on development of gossip-style dissemination protocols to satisfy all these requirements. In this paper, we present the latest causal information transmission protocol between publishers and subscribers for overlapping groups. In this protocol, sensor leaders as publishers might guarantee consistently causally ordered message delivery among themselves by aggregating causality information. On the other hand, only the latest causal information piggybacked on each multicast message is transmitted from publishers to subscribers through gossip-style dissemination. Its scalability feature might be highly suitable for the area of the applications requiring only the minimum meaningful information.

  • Over the last couple of years, traditional VANET (Vehicular Ad Hoc NETwork) evolved into VANET-based clouds. From the VANET standpoint, applications became richer by virtue of the boom in automotive telematics and infotainment technologies. Nevertheless, the research community and industries are concerned about the under-utilization of rich computation, communication, and storage resources in middle and high-end vehicles. This phenomenon became the driving force for the birth of VANET-based clouds. In this paper, we envision a novel application layer of VANET-based clouds based on the cooperation of the moving cars on the road, called CaaS (Cooperation as a Service). CaaS is divided into TIaaS (Traffic Information as a Service), WaaS (Warning as a Service), and IfaaS (Infotainment as a Service). Note, however, that this work focuses only on TIaaS and WaaS. TIaaS provides vehicular nodes, more precisely subscribers, with the fine-grained traffic information constructed by CDM (Cloud Decision Module) as a result of the cooperation of the vehicles on the roads in the form of mobility vectors. On the other hand, WaaS provides subscribers with potential warning messages in case of hazard situations on the road. Communication between the cloud infrastructure and the vehicles is done through GTs (Gateway Terminals), whereas GTs are physically realized through RSUs (Road-Side Units) and vehicles with 4G Internet access. These GTs forward the coarse-grained cooperation from vehicles to cloud and fine-grained traffic information and warnings from cloud to vehicles (subscribers) in a secure, privacy-aware fashion. In our proposed scheme, privacy is conditionally preserved wherein the location and the identity of the cooperators are preserved by leveraging the modified location-based encryption and, in case of any dispute, the node is subject to revocation. To the best of our knowledge, our proposed scheme is the first effort to offshore the extended traffic view construction function and warning messages dissemination function to the cloud.

  • By the newly emerging Network access technology, we face the new heterogeneous network environment. The required level of service quality and diversity are now multiplied by the increment of wireless service subscribers. Focusing on the co-existence of multiple access network technology and the complex service needs of users, the wireless service operators should present the stable service quality for every user. The service operators should build the new operation framework which combines the pre-established networks and newly adopted ones. Our problem is finding the optimal heterogeneous network operation framework. We suggest a market-based marginal cost function for evaluating the relative value of resource of each network and develop the whole new heterogeneous network operation framework.

  • High-speed network resources and large storage devices on video servers are necessary to Provide interactive VOD services to subscribers, therefore, building networks for VOD services requires a huge amount of cost. A number of studies on network hierarchy for distributed tree architecture, on optimized server allocation with a given network topology, and on program caching etc, are currently in progress. In this study, given specific network resources, a cost effective network architecture including the optimal number of tree levels and the optimal number of branches at a node are designed by modeling cost functions, and some restrictions on network design are discussed. The results of this study are expected to be applied to network architecture design for interactive VOD services

  • I did research or design technology of(integration) network of PSTN and PSDN in this paper. Network structure model in association with soft switching and access gateway can create various services based on web and live time and service fee at the rate of bandwidth which can't be provided by existing network based on SONET. Also, interns of capability(function) of each area and construction of local network subscribers, it has great recovery capability by separating each network as local areas. It indicates that it can additionally maximize the application of its own communication network and drastic reduction of communication cost because it is alternated to exclusive usage cost.

  • FTTH (Fiber to the Home) is constructed with optical devices and optical cables from central office (CO) to subscribers. With FTTH, it is possible to provide service platform in order to meet the customers' emerging demands for more bandwidth/security and diverse IP multimedia applications including high definition (HD) video streaming service. FTTH can provide enough bandwidth from 100Mbps to several Gbps per subscriber. It is also most appropriate network architecture for convergence of communication and broadcasting. So, FTTH is thought the final destination of telecom operators, since it is the fastest and most reliable solution so far and various IP multimedia services are possible through it. In this paper, newly attempted technologies of FTTH construction for apartment complexes using CWDM-PON system are discussed.

  • This paper analyzes the causal relationship between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty in Korean High-speed Internet market, where has achieved a rapid development in these days. According to the previous literatures, profitability results from customer loyalty influenced by customer satisfaction. So, we firstly define and analyze their relationships with the survey data from 737 subscribers, by using Factor Analysis and SEM(Structural Equation Model). Secondly, we find and select major cause variables to affect customer loyalty. Finally, we suggest some useful implications to marketers on the basis of the analysis results. As a result, customer loyalty depends on the degree of customer satisfaction on network quality and service quality in high-speed Internet service. Particularly the satisfaction level on network quality affects customer loyalty relatively stronger than one on service quality. Thus it is suggested that marketers invest in improving network quality rather than service quality to enhance customer loyalty.
