Laser-induced Damage to Polysilicon Microbridge Component

  • Based on the typical pixel structure and parameters of a polysilicon uncooled bolometer, the absorption rate of a polysilicon microbridge infrared detector for 10.6 ㎛ laser energy was calculated through the optical admittance method, and the thermal coupling model of a polysilicon microbridge component irradiated by far infrared laser was established based on theoretical formulas. Then a numerical simulation study was carried out by means of finite element analysis for the actual working environment. It was found that the maximum temperature and maximum stress of the microbridge component are approximately exponentially changing with the laser power of the irradiation respectively and that they increase monotonically. The highest temperature zone of the model is gradually spread by the two corners of the bridge surface that are not connected to the bridge legs, and the maximum stress acts on both sides of the junction of the microbridge legs and the substrate. The mechanism of laser-induced hard damage to polysilicon detectors is the melting damage caused by high temperature. This paper lays the foundation for the subsequent study of the interference mechanism of the laser on working state polysilicon detectors.

반환공여구역(캠프마켓) 활용을 위한 네트워크 거버넌스 모형 연구 (A Study on the Network Governance Model Using the Returned Area(Camp Market))

  • Based on the theory of network governance, this study aims to establish a n'work governance model and present strategic measures for the use of return donor zones. In a network society, it is difficult for the government to handle complex problems alone, so close cooperation between related agencies has become important. After the return of the USFK base, most of the policies established by the government have not been carried out smoothly, so it is necessary to introduce cooperative network governance.Accordingly, technical statistics were analyzed for camp market business institutions to examine the centrality and structure of network relations (information sharing relationship, idea exchange relationship, civil complaint sharing relationship). As a result of the analysis, the Camp Market Division of Incheon City had the most central role and great influence in the camp market, which was maintained even when the time changed. Currently, it is in the form of a vertical network centered on local governments, but in the future, a horizontal network is suitable to strengthen cooperative relations and must be systematically managed around managers.

자유무역지역 제도비교를 통한 마산항 발전방향 (The development of Masan Port through comparison of Free Trade Zones)

  • The purpose of this paper is to investigate CFZ(custom free zone) and FTZ(free trade zone) in Korean FTZ System and develop Masan Port in Korea Local Port. The main point of this discussion is to approach the efficient method ill developing Masan Port through comparison CFZ and FTZ. For this purpose, this paper is searched the present situation of logistics in Korea and Northeast Asia, also discussed the concept of FTZ in international status. Then CFZ accepted by Korean government started from the concept of FTZ and is the logistic-centered FTZ in the middle of three model, production-centerde model, production-logistic combination, and logistic-centered FTZ. But CFZ in centering logistic excepted the fundamental manufacture in Korean production. and is almost the same about other various sides, i. e. law and enforcement ordinance. etc This problem is decreasing the efficiency in Korean commercial system. Thus this paper indicate the view point and rightness of region economic through study of FTZ and CFZ in Masan Port. This paper says that FTZ is better then CFZ in Masan Port with comparing superior position about economic development direction, industrial structure, Foreign investment attraction, business fluctuation, national-local renovation. Therefore this paper concludes that the development of Masan Port needs the effort as follow : first, Masan Port must apply in enlarging FTA into Free Tree Area. Second, the government must develop the high-density and medium-small scale in Masan Port. Third, the local government must promote the amount of demand in Masan Port logistic. Forth, the government must actively propel great-sphere development in present Masan Port.

CE-QUAL-W2를 이용한 성층 저수지에서 CO2의 시공간적 분포 및 물질수지 분석 (Characterizing Spatiotemporal Variations and Mass Balance of CO2 in a Stratified Reservoir using CE-QUAL-W2)

  • Dam reservoirs have been reported to contribute significantly to global carbon emissions, but unlike natural lakes, there is considerable uncertainty in calculating carbon emissions due to the complex of emission pathways. In particular, the method of calculating carbon dioxide (CO2) net atmospheric flux (NAF) based on a simple gas exchange theory from sporadic data has limitations in explaining the spatiotemporal variations in the CO2 flux in stratified reservoirs. This study was aimed to analyze the spatial and temporal CO2 distribution and mass balance in Daecheong Reservoir, located in the mid-latitude monsoon climate zone, by applying a two-dimensional hydrodynamic and water quality model (CE-QUAL-W2). Simulation results showed that the Daecheong Reservoir is a heterotrophic system in which CO2 is supersaturated as a whole and releases CO2 to the atmosphere. Spatially, CO2 emissions were greater in the lacustrine zone than in the riverine and transition zones. In terms of time, CO2 emissions changed dynamically according to the temporal stratification structure of the reservoir and temporal variations of algae biomass. CO2 emissions were greater at night than during the day and were seasonally greatest in winter. The CO2 NAF calculated by the CE-QUAL-W2 model and the gas exchange theory showed a similar range, but there was a difference in the point of occurrence of the peak value. The findings provide useful information to improve the quantification of CO2 emissions from reservoirs. In order to reduce the uncertainty in the estimation of reservoir carbon emissions, more precise monitoring in time and space is required.

The thickness of the soft soil layer and canal-side road failure: A case study in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province, Thailand

  • Canal-side roads frequently collapse due to an unexpectedly greater soft-clay thickness with a rapid drawdown situation. This causes annually increased repair and reconstruction costs. This paper aims to explore the effect of soft-clay thickness on the failure in the canal-side road in the case study of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya rural road no. 1043 (AY. 1043). Before the actual construction, a field vane shear test was performed to determine the undrained shear strength and identify the thickness of the soft clay at the AY. 1043 area. After establishing the usability of AY. 1043, the resistivity survey method was used to evaluate the thickness of the soft clay layer at the failure zone. The screw driving sounding test was used to evaluate the undrained shear strength for the road structure with a medium-stiff clay layer at the failure zone for applying to the numerical model. This model was simulated to confirm the effect of soft-clay thickness on the failure of the canal-side road. The monitoring and testing results showed the tendency of rapid drawdown failure when the canal-side road was located on > 9 m thick of soft clay with a sensitivity > 4.5. The result indicates that the combination of resistivity survey and field vane shear test can be successfully used to inspect the soft-clay thickness and sensitivity before construction. The preliminary design for preventing failure or improving the stability of the canal-side road should be considered before construction under the critical thickness and sensitivity values of the soft clay.

Zone특성 분할을 통한 유형별 통행발생 모형개발 (Development of Trip Generation Type Models toward Traffic Zone Characteristics)

  • 통행발생은 4단계 모형의 처음 단계로 전체수요예측에 상당한 영향을 미치게 되므로 정확성이 무엇보다 필요한 단계라 할 수 있다. 현재 통행발생모형으로 도시교통 및 SOC시설 등의 계획에 널리 사용되고 있는 것은 선형회귀모형이며, 각종 사회경제지표와 통행발생량의 관계가 선형임을 전제로 한다. 하지만 급격한 도시개발이나 도시계획구조가 변경되었을 때 통행량을 추정하기 위한 사회경제지표 자료가 부족하여 추정된 통행량의 오차가 많을 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 일반적으로 널리 사용되는 사회경제지표를 선형이란 가정을 하지 않고, 다양한 존의 특성을 반영할 수 있는 변수에 대한 시장분할을 토대로 새로운 유형별 통행발생모형을 개발하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 교통수요예측의 처음 단계인 통행발생 모형의 예측력을 개선하기 위하여 존의 다양한 특성(토지이용, 사회경제적 등)을 고려하였다. 예측력 개선을 위한 시장분할 방법론으로는 통행 발생률을 기반으로 한 Data Mining(CART)방법과 회귀분석을 이용하였다. 연구의 결과를 살펴보면, 첫째, CART분석을 활용한 존 특성 분석결과, 유출통행은 사회경제적 요인(남녀상대비중, 연령대(22~29세))에 영향을 받고 있으며, 유입통행은 토지이용 요인(업무시설상대비중), 사회경제적 요인(3차 종사자상대비중)으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유형별 모형개발 결과 통행발생 계수 값은 유출의 경우 0.977~0.987(통행/인)이며, 유입의 경우 0.692~3.256(통행/인)로 나타나 유형구분이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 실측검증을 수행하였으며, 유출 및 유입의 경우 기존 모형보다 적합도가 높아진 것을 알 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서 개발한 유형별 통행발생모형이 기존 연구보다 우수한 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • In this study is stress behavior of steel support structure is to identify basic research. Steel stress due to load step to determine the behavior of steel using strain gauge steel loading test was performed. Numerical analysis and steel loading test using strain gauge on the actual steel stress behavior was analyzed. First, when tensile loading 3.5tonf load side of the plastic behavior appeared. Elastic model, using numerical analysis and comparison of results, the actual value is saved and you can see some difference. This repeated loading tests on steel can be seen from the results of the stress behavior of the steel rather than the elastic behavior of elastic-plastic behavior is because you can see. In addition, the upper and lower steel stress in compression and tension behavior represents the behavior was similar, but different. Steel loading test results, Y-axis get a compression if X-axis is tension. The future based on this study, the stress sensitivity curve of magnetic anisotropy sensor for non-destructive stress measurement technique for the study will be performed. And the behavior of plastic zone and residual stress to determine the numerical analysis using non-elastic model is needed.

장방형 2차 침전지 유출부의 구조가 유동 및 성능에 미치는 영향에 대한 수치 해석적 연구 (Numerical Analysis of the Outlet Structure Effect on the Flow and Settling Performance of the Rectangular Clarifiers)

  • Proper operation of clarifier partly depends on outlet conditions. Effluent has to be uniformly withdrawn to prevent scouring of settled sludge and carry over of settling sludge from the clarifier. In this paper, 3-D numerical model was employed to analyze the flow and settling performance of the rectangular clarifier. There were two simulation conditions of which in the same clarifier, the first one was assumed to have a 11.5 meter weir length and the second has 8.5 meters. Shape, location and placement of the weir structure were different, but both of those outlets meet weir loading design criteria. Simulation results indicate that clarifier with longer weir generally gave strong and unstable currents at the mid-stream where the weir starts while in the clarifier with short and relatively simple weir, uniform and stable flow was observed in most parts of the settling zone, and especially at the weir region. These flow conditions affected settling performance. Effulent SS concentration from clarifier equipped with the long and complicated placement of weir was 24.5 mg/L, but 7.0 mg/L from the clarfieir having short weir length. From this study, it can be concluded that as reported from other studies, weir loading does not guarantee settling performance and 3-D numerical model can be a useful tool for determining and validating outlet structure.

Force-based seismic design of steel haunch retrofit for RC frames

  • The paper presents a simplified force-based seismic design procedure for the preliminary design of steel haunch retrofitting for the seismic upgrade of deficient RC frames. The procedure involved constructing a site-specific seismic design spectrum for the site, which is transformed into seismic base shear coefficient demand, using an applicable response modification factor, that defines base shear force for seismic analysis of the structure. Recent experimental campaign; involving shake table testing of ten (10), and quasi-static cyclic testing of two (02), 1:3 reduced scale RC frame models, carried out for the seismic performance assessment of both deficient and retrofitted structures has provided the basis to calculate retrofit-specific response modification factor Rretrofitted. The haunch retrofitting technique enhanced the structural stiffness, strength, and ductility, hence, increased the structural response modification factor, which is mainly dependent on the applied retrofit scheme. An additional retrofit effectiveness factor (ΩR) is proposed for the deficient structure's response modification factor Rdeficient, representing the retrofit effectiveness (ΩR=Rretrofitted /Rdeficient), to calculate components' moment and shear demands for the retrofitted structure. The experimental campaign revealed that regardless of the deficient structures' characteristics, the ΩR factor remains fairly the unchanged, which is encouraging to generalize the design procedure. Haunch configuration is finalized that avoid brittle hinging of beam-column joints and ensure ductile beam yielding. Example case study for the seismic retrofit designs of RC frames are presented, which were validated through equivalent lateral load analysis using elastic model and response history analysis of finite-element based inelastic model, showing reasonable performance of the proposed design procedure. The proposed design has the advantage to provide a seismic zone-specific design solution, and also, to suggest if any additional measure is required to enhance the strength/deformability of beams and columns.

지역사회의 동물복지문화 증진을 위한 도그파크 계획 모형 (A Dog Park Planning Model for Promoting Animal Welfare Culture in Regional Community, Korea)

  • Korea's pet-related society has been fast growing without the base and preparations of socio-cultural animal welfare. For the most part, Korea's current public parks, in particular, have a space structure in which a lot of friction between the general public who are not fond of dogs and dog owners in public places has been happening unavoidably. A lot of countries that are taking a lead role in animal welfare have built dog parte that the general public and dogs can enjoy together. This research starts with the realization that the concept of 'dog park' needs to be introduced in Korea as more and more Koreans own dogs and other pets. This research aims to provide guidance for dog park planning by drawing a dog park planning model and to promote basics for co-existence of dogs and people in a park and set in place animal welfare early and raise the level of awareness. Total 7 types of dog put 56 planning items including dog zone, dog playground, and agility, and a selective matrix by which it is possible to select essential recommendatory optional items by each type of dog park were drawn in this research. Overall there were the highest needs in separated area for dogs in park. A dog park planning model is designed as follows. 1) To select a dog park type that was introduced. 2) To set up facilities applicable in common and planning items desired in advance by each type. 3) To zone dog park areas by the priority order of planning items that were introduced and to position necessary facilities. 4) To plan program that should be were introduced. A dog park was expected to take some positive roles such as providing opportunities to socialize dogs, activating social communities, more effective park management by participating local community members and so on.
