농업 토목 수리구조물 안전도 평가 시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (Development of Safety Assessment System for Agricultural Irrigation Structures)

  • This study is directed for the development of a computer aided safety assessment system for agricultural irrigation structures, The developed system is composed of four subsystems that incorporate database, structural analysis, safety assessment, and postprocess, which are made to be interfaced systematically. It is developed in the user-friendly menu driving form with pull-down type interaction on a personal computer. The main algorithm of safety assessment of deteriorated structures is a rational rating system based on the reliability method. From this study, it may be stated that the proposed rating and safety assessment system provide an effective tool and thus it can be widely used in practice for the assessment of safety and load carrying capacity of existing deteriorated or damaged agricultural irrigation structures.

  • The number of marine accidents have been decreased since various equipments for navigation control have been introduced to the marine vessels. However, disastrous marine accidents such as ship collisions are occurred more frequently. Therefore, IMO(International Maritime Organization) is enforcing the design requirement of structural strength for marine vessel. Also EU countries are developing new design methodologies and design tools to suggest the design guidance which can minimize the damage of commercial vessels in case of marine collision accidents. In this study, an integrated design system for the safety assessment has been presented to enhance the safety of damaged ships in marine collision accidents. The architecture of system is described by use-cases and IDEF functional analysis. Then an integrated system for safety assessment of damaged ship which is considering both damage stability and structural safety has been developed to support the ship design in early stage.

  • In order to take account of the statistical properties of random variables used in the structural analysis, the conventional approach usually adopts the safety factor based on past experiences for the qualitative assessment of structural safety problem. Recently, new approach based on the probabilistic concept has been applied to the assessment of structural safety in order to circumvent the difficulties of the conventional approach in choosing the appropriate safety factor. Thus, computer program called "Probabilistic finite element method" is developed by incorporation the probabilistic concept into the conventional matrix method in order to investigate the effects of the random variables on the final output of the structural analysis. From the comparison of some examples, it can be concluded that the PFEM developed in this study deals with consistently with the uncertainty of random variables and provides the rational tool for the assessment of structural safety of plane frame.

  • In this paper, a limit state model based on the analysis of structural behavior of segmental prestressed concrete box girder bridges and reliability-based safety assessment method are proposed for the bridges erected by free cantilever method. Strength limit state models for prestressed concrete box girder and rigid-frame type columns are developed for a structural safety assessment during construction. Based on the proposed limit state models, the reliability of the bridge is evaluated by using the Advanced First Order Second Moment method. The proposed model and method are applied to the Seo-Hae Grand Bridge built by FCM in order to verify its effectiveness in the safety assessment during construction of the kind of bridges. The sensitivity analyses of the main parameters are also performed in order to identify the important factors that need to be controlled for the safety of the bridges during construction.

  • This study describes the behavior and failure probability of basic structural member in case of fire for the research of safety assessment on onshore structure. Fire safety assessment can be done by comparing fire resistance of members with fire severity of heat load For more Practical applications, the commercial structural analysis program is linked with the in-house code and gets the limiting temperature by analyzing structural strength of member with elasto-plastic analysis and large deflection analysis. AFOSM method is utilized to obtain the failure probability against the fire. The examples of rather simple structures such as beams and plates are applied to explain and verify the procedure of fire safety assessment.

  • In this study, the advanced numerical algorithm is developed which can performed the static and dynamic stochastic finite element analysis by considering the effect of uncertainties included in the member stiffness of steel cable-stayed bridges and seismic load. After conducting the linear and nonlinear initial shape analysis, the advanced numerical algorithm is the assessment tool which can performed structural the response analysis considering the static linearity and non-linearity of before or after induced intial tensile force, and examined the reliability assessment more efficiently. The verification of the developed numerical algorithm is evaluated by analyzing the regression analysis and coefficient of correlation using the direct monte carlo simulation. Also, the dynamic response characteristic and coefficient of variation of the steel cable-stayed bridge is calculated by considering the uncertainty of random variables using the developed numerical algorithm. In addition, the quantitative structural safety of the steel cable-stayed bridges is evaluated by conducting the reliability assessment based upon the dynamic stochastic finite element analysis result.

  • This paper describes the structural analysis result and load test result of accident EMU(Electric Multiple Units). Structural analysis and load test of EMU were performed for the criteria of safety assessment. Structural analysis using commercial I-DEAS software provided important information on the stress distribution and load transfer mechanisms as well as the amount of damages during rolling stock crash. The purpose of the load test is to evaluate a safety which carbody structure shall be considered fully sufficient rigidity so as to satisfy proper system function under maximum load and operating condition. The results have been used to provide the critical information for the criteria of safety assessment.

  • 건축물이 노후화되면 구조안전성능, 설비 및 마감의 안전성 등이 저하된다. 기간의 경과와 사용조건에 따라 성능 및 건축물의 가치는 변하기 때문에 건축물의 효율적인 유지관리 및 건축물의 매매 시 발생할지도 모르는 분쟁으로 인한 소비자 보호 차원에서 건축물의 안전성능에 대한 정확한 평가가 필요하다. 이 연구에서는 건축물의 안전성능에 관한 기존의 연구 결과와 성능평가 모델들을 비교 분석하여 건축물의 안전성능을 객관적으로 평가할 수 있는 항록을 선정 $\cdot$제시하였다. 이 연구 결과는 건축물의 적정 설계 $\cdot$시공 유지관리를 통하여 장수명화를 유도하기 위한 수단의 하나로 이용할 수 있을 것으로 판단되며, 앞으로 진행되는 건축물의 안전성능평가를 위한 기준 및 절차 연구의 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • 본 연구는 개인용 컴퓨터를 이용하여 농업토목 수리구조물의 안전도평가시스템을 개발하는데 목적이 있다. 본 시스템은 상호 유기적인 관계를 가지고 있는 데이타베이스, 구조해석, 안전도분석/평가, 입출력도식화의 4가지 서브시스템으로 구성되었으며, 사용자 위주의 풀다운식 메뉴드라이빙 형태로 개발되었다. 노후손상된 구조물의 안전도평가에 사용된 주요 알고리즘은 신뢰성이론에 의한 합리적 내하력 평가방법에 기초하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 안전도평가 시스템은 노후손상된 농업토목 수리구조물의 안전도 및 내하력 평가를 위한 효율적인 수단으로서 실무에서 널리 사용될 수 있을 것이라고 사료된다.

  • In spite of the increasing construction of segmental PSC box girder bridges, the techniques associated with real-time monitoring, construction control and safety assessment during construction have been less developed compared with the construction techniques. Thus, the development of an integrated system including real-time measurement and monitoring, control and safety assessment system during construction is necessary fur more safe and precise construction of the bridges. This study presents a prototype integrated monitoring system for preventing abnormal behavior and accidents under construction stages, that consist of behavior control system for precise construction, reliability-based safety assessment system, and structural analysis. Also, a prototype software system is developed on the basis of the proposed model. It is successfully applied to the Sea-Hae Grand Bridge built by FCM. The integrated system model and software system can be utilized for the safe and precise construction of segmental PSC bridges during construction.
