Evolutionary Data Granulation 기반으로한 퍼지 집합 다항식 뉴럴 네트워크에 관한 연구 (A Study on Fuzzy Set-based Polynomial Neural Networks Based on Evolutionary Data Granulation)

  • In this paper, we introduce a new Fuzzy Polynomial Neural Networks (FPNNS)-like structure whose neuron is based on the Fuzzy Set-based Fuzzy Inference System (FS-FIS) and is different from that of FPNNS based on the Fuzzy relation-based Fuzzy Inference System (FR-FIS) and discuss the ability of the new FPNNS-like structure named Fuzzy Set-based Polynomial Neural Networks (FSPNN). The premise parts of their fuzzy rules are not identical, while the consequent parts of the both Networks (such as FPNN and FSPNN) are identical. This difference results from the angle of a viewpoint of partition of input space of system. In other word, from a point of view of FS-FIS, the input variables are mutually independent under input space of system, while from a viewpoint of FR-FIS they are related each other. The proposed design procedure for networks architecture involves the selection of appropriate nodes with specific local characteristics such as the number of input variables, the order of the polynomial that is constant, linear, quadratic, or modified quadratic functions being viewed as the consequent part of fuzzy rules, and a collection of the specific subset of input variables. On the parameter optimization phase, we adopt Information Granulation (IC) based on HCM clustering algorithm and a standard least square method-based learning. Through the consecutive process of such structural and parametric optimization, an optimized and flexible fuzzy neural network is generated in a dynamic fashion. To evaluate the performance of the genetically optimized FSPNN (gFSPNN), the model is experimented with using the time series dataset of gas furnace process.

비선형 지진 해석을 위한 보-기둥 요소 (Beam-Column Element Applicable to Nonlinear Seismic Analysis)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 매우 큰 지진하에 휨 모멘트에 의해서만 항복하는 부재와 휨 모멘트와 축 방향력에 의하여 항복하는 부재를 모델 할 수 있는 보-기둥 요소를 개발하는데 있다. 이 요소는 직렬 힌지 모델 (one-component series hinge model)로 간주 될 수 있으며, 축 방향 강성도 변화와 축 방향 소성 변형을 고려 할 수 있고 또한 단조, 주기, 임의 하중 등을 적절히 모델 할 수 있는 경화 법칙 (hardening rules)을 고려한다. 일반적으로 이 요소는 실험 결과 및 화이버 모델 (fiber model)에 비교하여 볼 때 기존의 이직선 힌지 모델 (bilinear hinge model)보다 우수한 거동을 보였고 모멘트 저항 뼈대 구조물의 강 부재의 보-기둥 거동을 적절하게 모델 할 수 있었다. 개발된 보-기둥 요소는 지진 하중하에서 구조물의 전체적인 거동과 설계에 필요한 국부 변형량을 기존의 이직선 힌지 모델 보다 매우 정확하게 예측 할 수 있다.

국가와의 계약에서 대리인 정부에 대한 통제 (Controlling Agent Government in Contract with State)

  • 규제의 적용이나 조세의 부과와 같은 강제성을 수반하는 행위가 아닌 국가와의 대등한 관계에서 이루어지는 계약에서 왜 이런 특별한 규칙이 필요한 것일까? 규칙은 사인 간의 계약을 다루는 규칙에 비해 어떤 차이가 있으며 그 차이는 무엇 때문에 발생하는 것일까? 국가와의 계약은 사인 간의 계약과는 달리 대등한 당사자 사이의 효력을 갖는 것이라 하더라도, 계약당사자와 계약의 효력부담자가 다른 구조적 성격으로 인해 민간경제 주체끼리의 계약과는 다른 다양한 특이성이 존재한다. 즉 국가와의 계약에서는 대리인인 정부의 기회주의적 행위를 통제하기 위한 규칙들이 매우 구체적으로 사전적으로 존재하고 있는 것이다. 이를 통해, 국가와의 관계는 그것이 설령 강행성의 영역이 아닌 사적계약의 영역이라 하더라도 차이가 날 수밖에 없다는 사실을 확인 할 수 있다. 대리인 정부는 위임자인 국가의 이해와 다른 판단과 결정을 내리는 기회주의적 행위를 보일 가능성이 늘 존재하기에 이에 대한 사전통제 장치가 필요하기 때문이다.

정보 입자기반 연속전인 최적화를 통한 자기구성 퍼지 다항식 뉴럴네트워크 : 설계와 해석 (Self-Organizing Fuzzy Polynomial Neural Networks by Means of IG-based Consecutive Optimization : Design and Analysis)

  • In this paper, we propose a new architecture of Self-Organizing Fuzzy Polynomial Neural Networks (SOFPNN) by means of consecutive optimization and also discuss its comprehensive design methodology involving mechanisms of genetic optimization. The network is based on a structurally as well as parametrically optimized fuzzy polynomial neurons (FPNs) conducted with the aid of information granulation and genetic algorithms. In structurally identification of FPN, the design procedure applied in the construction of each layer of a SOFPNN deals with its structural optimization involving the selection of preferred nodes (or FPNs) with specific local characteristics and addresses specific aspects of parametric optimization. In addition, the fuzzy rules used in the networks exploit the notion of information granules defined over system's variables and formed through the process of information granulation. That is, we determine the initial location (apexes) of membership functions and initial values of polynomial function being used in the premised and consequence part of the fuzzy rules respectively. This granulation is realized with the aid of the hard c-menas clustering method (HCM). For the parametric identification, we obtained the effective model that the axes of MFs are identified by GA to reflect characteristic of given data. Especially, the genetically dynamic search method is introduced in the identification of parameter. It helps lead to rapidly optimal convergence over a limited region or a boundary condition. To evaluate the performance of the proposed model, the model is experimented with using two time series data(gas furnace process, nonlinear system data, and NOx process data).

티타늄합금 레저보트의 구조설계를 위한 설계하중 비교연구 (Comparative Study of Design Loads for the Structural Design of Titanium Leisure Boat)

  • 최근 국내 해양레저에 대한 국민들의 관심이 높아지고 있고, 해외 시장 개척을 위한 레저선박 건조 및 제조업체들의 연구개발이 활발한 실정이다. 기존 레저보트에 많이 사용되어 온 재료 중에서 FRP와 알루미늄합금은 각각 장기간 사용으로 인한 흡습성과 재활용이 불가능한 환경문제와, 높은 열전도도와 고열에 약해 화재에 취약하다는 단점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 높은 비강도와 내식성을 갖춘 티타늄합금을 선체 재료로 선택하였고, 선박의 구조설계를 위해 충격하중에 의한 설계하중을 4가지 규정으로부터 산정하고, 이 하중에 대응하는 선체 판두께를 추정하였다. 국제표준인 ISO 12215-5, 이탈리아선급인 RINA Pleasure Yacht, 영국선급인 LR Special Service Craft, 한국선급인 KR 고속경구조선규칙을 비교 분석한 결과, 최대 슬래밍하중은 ISO, KR, LR, RINA의 크기 순서로 높게 계산되었고, 요구되는 판 두께도 ISO, KR, LR, RINA의 크기 순서로 추정되었다. 레저보트는 국제 규정에 적합한 설계와 인증이 필수적이므로, 각 규정에 대한 사용자의 이해를 높이고 해외 수출 선박의 설계 및 승인 절차에 도움이 되리라 생각한다.

오령산 구성약재 성분의 Drug-likeness와 Oral bioavailability (Drug-likeness and Oral bioavailability for Chemical Compounds of Medicinal Materials Constituting Oryeong-san)

  • Objectives : Oryeong-san was composed of Alismatis Rhizoma, Atractylodis Rhizoma Alba, Poria Sclerotium, Polyporus, Cinnamomi Cortex, and known to have hundreds of chemical compounds. The aim of this study was to screen chemical compounds constituting Oryeong-san with the drug-likeness and oral bioavailability from the analysis of their physicochemical properties. Methods : A list of chemical compounds of Oryeong-san was obtained from TM-MC(database of medicinal materials and chemical compounds in Northeast Asian traditional medicine). To remove redundant compounds, the SMILES (Simplified Molecular Input Line Entry System) strings of each compound were identified. All of the physicochemical properties for the compounds were calculated using the DruLiTo(Drug Likeness Tool). Drug-likeness was estimated by QED(Quantitative Estimate of Druglikeness) and OB(Oral bioavailability) was checked based on the Veber's rules. Results : A total of 475 compounds were obtained by eliminating duplication among 544 compounds of 5 medicinal materials. Analysis of the physicochemical properties revealed that the most common values were MW(molecular weight) 200~300 g/mol, ALOGP(octanol-water partition coefficient) 1~2, HBA(number of hydrogen bond acceptors) 0~1, HBD(number of hydrogen bond donors) 0, PSA(polar surface area) 0~50 angstrom, ROTB(number of rotatable bonds) 1, AROM(number of aromatic rings) 0, and ALERT(number of structural alerts) 1. QED had 93% of the values between 0.2 and 0.7, and OB had 90% of the value of TRUE. Conclusions : We in this paper screened the candidate active compounds of Oryeong-san using the QED and Veber's rules. In the future, we will use the screening results to analyze the mechanism of Oryeong-san based on systems pharmacology.

형상문법(Shape Grammar)을 활용한 패션디자인 연구 (A Study on Fashion Design Using Shape Grammar)

  • The term 'module' is an architectural term. It refers to the components or systems that make up a finished product. As industries develop, modules have become one of the methods that can create diverse and creative designs. Traditional modular fashion design mainly focused on structural methods, such as the combination, assembly, overlap, and arrangement of modules, as well as the tessellation of geometric shapes. However, in this paper, significance lies in exploring the application of shape grammar, a design method in architecture, to fashion design. It aims to search for ways to express three-dimensional designs, derive designs that can be worn and produced, and propose fashion design by applying the rules of shape grammar to the design process. Through this analysis, the paper aims to examine the methods and characteristics of shape grammar. The research method of this paper is as follows. First, by utilizing optimized programs for implementing the modules of shape grammar, it was possible to propose a method for producing modules of shape grammar and suggest module designs. Additionally, effective methods of representation using the Clo 3D program were explored in the design development process. Second, by applying shape grammar to the fashion design process, five-dimensional modular fashion designs were proposed, including a bolero, dress 1, dress 2, setup, and coat. The proposed modular fashion design using shape grammar in this paper provides a rational design process that differentiates itself from traditional modular fashion design. By formalizing the shapes between modules and creating rules, it overcomes the limitations of design that rely on the designer's intuition or sensibility and enables the development of more diverse modular fashion designs. This application of shape grammar in fashion design can provide an important direction in exploring a sustainable fashion industry.

Prediction and analysis of structural noise of a box girder using hybrid FE-SEA method

  • With the rapid development of rail transit, rail transit noise needs to be paid more and more attention. In order to accurately and effectively analyze the characteristics of low-frequency noise, a prediction model of vibration of box girder was established based on the hybrid FE-SEA method. When the train speed is 140 km/h, 200 km/h and 250 km/h, the vibration and noise of the box girder induced by the vertical wheel-rail interaction in the frequency range of 20-500 Hz are analyzed. Detailed analysis of the energy level, sound pressure contribution, modal analysis and vibration loss power of each slab at the operating speed of 140 km /h. The results show that: (1) When the train runs at a speed of 140km/h, the roof contributes more to the sound pressure at the far sound field point. Analyzing the frequency range from 20 to 500 Hz: The top plate plays a very important role in controlling sound pressure, contributing up to 70% of the sound pressure at peak frequencies. (2) When the train is traveling at various speeds, the maximum amplitude of structural vibration and noise generated by the viaduct occurs at 50 Hz. The vibration acceleration of the box beam at the far field point and near field point is mainly concentrated in the frequency range of 31.5-100 Hz, which is consistent with the dominant frequency band of wheel-rail force. Therefore, the main frequency of reducing the vibration and noise of the box beam is 31.5-100 Hz. 60M급 쌍동형 카페리 구조 엔지니어링 고찰 (Structural Engineering Study of 60M Twin-hull typed Car-ferry)

  • 본 논문에서는 쌍동형 카페리에 대한 기본구조설계 및 구조해석을 위한 기법을 제시한다. 카페리와 같이 길이가 50미터 이상이고, 길이/폭의 비가 12보다 큰 중/소형 고속선박의 강도해석에 대한 규정이나 방법론은 아직까지 명확하게 제시되지 않고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 한국선급 규정을 이용하여 부재 스캔틀링을 수행하였고, 설계안에 대한 구조강도 검증을 위해서 카페리 전용선박 기준을 추가적으로 적용하여 검토하였다. 특히, 카페리 전용선박 기준을 이용하여, 선체거더 최종강도를 추가적으로 수행하였으며, 기존 기준에 의한 설계의 모호성을 극복하도록 제안하였다. 본 연구를 통해 도출된 연구 결과는 앞으로 고속 쌍동형 카페리의 구조설계 및 구조해석에 관련된 기본적인 자료로 유용하게 활용될 것으로 예상되며, 현재 설계된 쌍동형 카페리의 부재 치수는 한국선급 기준에 충분히 만족하면서 구조적으로 안전하다.

접착제의 구조물성과 접착특성 (Structure/Property of Adhesives and Adhesion Performance)

  • Most of the materials used in various industrial fields and also in our daily life are multi-component materials or composite materials, and it is well known that there are many cases where adhesion between the constituents within the bonded systems plays an important role. There are various types of performance evaluation tests for the bonded materials, among which tests for evaluating the bond performance under various conditions may be regarded as the most interesting ones for those engaged in work related to adhesion. I have studied on the mechanism of adhesion form the rheological standpoint with my colleagues, including some students from Korea, and I am very happy to be able to have a talk on some of our research works. In Japan, the so-called "adhesives" are usually classified into two categories;adhesives and pressure sensitive adhesives (PSA). Adhesives are the materials which solidify after bonding and are after used as the structural adhesives because the adhesive strength is comparatively strong. On the other hand, the pressure sensitive adhesives never solidify and are used as PSA tapes, labels or decals. About the adhesives, we have examined the dependence of adhesive strength(shear, tensile, peel) upon both temperature and rate of deformation, and found out some empirical rules which are applicable to most of the adhesive systems. We have also developed a simplified theory of adhesion, which is deseribed in terms of mechanical equivalent mode1 and a few failure criteria. Although some of the common rules can be accounted for according to this theory, it must be pointed out that a fracture mechanical approach ms inevitable especially in the region where the meehanical relaxation time of the adhesive is extremely large [W. W. Lim and H. Mizumachi]. About the pressure sensitive adhesives, we have studied on the PSA performance (peel, tack, holding power) as a function of both the viscoelastic properties and surface chemical properties of the materials, and found out some rules, and again we have developed a theory which deseribes the mechanism. And in addition, we have studied on the miscibility between linear polymers and oligomers, because PSA is generally manufactured by blending gums and tackifier resins. Many phase diagrams have been found and some of them have been analyzed on thermodynamic basis, and it became evident that the miscibility is a very important factor in PSA [H. J. Kin and H. Mizumachi]. In this presentation, I want to emphasize the fact that the adhesion performance is closely related to the structure/property of the adhesives.adhesives.
