고속 연접봉의 응력 변동

  • In the design of high speed machinery, designers must consider the problem of possible structural failure due to excessive dynamically varying stresses, which are induced by the varying external loads and internal inertia forces, in the links of the mechanism. A study of the dynamically induced stresses would indicate what values of the minimum permissible fatigue strength should be for safe mechanism operation. This paper investigates the nature of the stress fluctuation in high speed mechanism on the basis of the effects of both the loads and the friction. The latter is apt to be neglected in the usual analysis in spite of the fact that it is always generated in the operating machinery. The analysis is performed on the coupler of the slider-crank mechanism for illustrative purposes and the results are expressed in a non-dimensional form for design applications.

중년기 여성의 스트레스와 스트레스 대처방식의 관계에서 자아방어기제의 조절효과 (The Moderating Effect of Coping Stress between Middle-aged Women's Stress and Defense Mechanism)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 중년기여성들이 겪는 스트레스와 그에 대한 대처방식 간의 상관관계를 파악하고 적극적인 대처방식의 촉진을 위한 개입 변인들을 제시하는 데에 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 S 지역에 거주하고 있는 중년기여성 만 35세~59세 400명 이였으며 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중년기여성의 스트레스, 자아방어기제, 스트레스 대처방식의 관계는 첫 번째, 역할스트레스는 적응적 방어기제를 제외한 미성숙 방어기제, 자기억제적 방어기제, 갈등회피적 방어기제와 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 두 번째, 스트레스 대처방식 중 문제중심 대처는 역할스트레스 및 일상스트레스와 유의한 부적상관이 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 세 번째, 미성숙 방어기제의 경우에는 문제중심대처와는 유의한 부적 상관을 나타낸 반면, 정서중심대처 및 소망추구적 사고와는 유의한 정적 상관을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자아방어기제 유형 중 중년기여성의 스트레스와 스트레스 대처방식의 관계에서 조절효과는 적응적 방어기제가 문제중심적 대처방식, 정서중심적 대처방식, 소망추구적 사고 대처에서는 조절효과가 있음이 확인 되었으나, 사회지지적 대처방식에는 조절효과가 없음으로 나타났다. 따라서 본연구의 결과는 중년기여성의 스트레스 완화에 자아방어기제의 조절효과를 밝혔다는데 의의가 있다.

노내 및 국부 후열처리에 의한 잔류응력 완화 거동 평가 (A Study on Weld Residual Stress Relaxation by furnaced and local PWHT Procedures)

  • In this paper, we established baseline information and insight on residual stress relief mechanism associated with furnaced and local PWHT(post weld heat treatment) operation. Based on FEM analysis results, we suggested that furnaced PWHT stress relief mechanism was based on creep relaxation and local PWHT stress relief mechanism involved complicated interactions between plasticity and creep. In case of furnaced PWHT, significant stress relaxation was occurred in the early stage of PWHT. In case of local PWHT, stress relaxation magnitude was increased as PWHT time increased. Finally, We have proposed that detailed furnaced and local PWHT procedure, and qualification criteria to support current codes of practices.

  • The electrical stress has a major effect on the long-term reliability of the thyristor. Therefore, it is needed to analyze the relationship between reliability and stress. In this paper, we investigate the device failure mechanism which induced by the stress. And also investigate the effect of the thermal stress on the device failure and relationship between electrical and thermal stress. Two-dimensional process simulator ATHENA and device simulator ATLAS are used to analyze the failure mechanism of the device.

  • Sand compaction pile (SCP) method is composed of compacted sand pile inserted into the soft clay deposit by displacement method. SCP-reinforced ground is composite soil which consists of the SCP and the surrounding soft soil. When a surcharge load is applied on composite ground, time-dependent behavior occurs in the soft soil due to consolidation according to radial flow toward SCP and stress transfer also takes place between the SCP and the soft soil. This paper presents the numerical results of cylindrical composite ground that was conducted to investigate consolidation characteristics and the stress transfer mechanism of SCP-reinforced composite ground. The results show that the consolidation of soft clay has a significant effect on the stress transfer mechanism and stress concentration ratio of composite ground

강관 적층용접부 잔류응력의 생성기구 (Production Mechanism of Residual Stress Generated by Multi-Pass Welding of the steel Pipe)

  • 강관 적층용접부에서 발생하는 잔류응력의 특징과 생성 메커니즘을 밝히기 위해 유한요소법을 이용한 3차원 열탄소성 해석을 수행하였다. 용접에 의해 강관을 접합할 때, 원주방향잔류응력과 두께방향잔류응력은 강관 내 외부에서 모두 접합부에서 인장응력이 발생하고, 길이방향잔류응력은 강관 내무에서 인장응력, 외부에서 압축응력이 발생된다. 또한 강관 적층 용접부의 잔류응력 생성기구를 명확히 하였다. 그 결과, 강관의 용접에 의한 잔류응력은 열응력에 의해 발생 할 뿐만 아니라, 강관의 기하학적 형상변화에 의한 영향도 받는다는 것을 밝혔다. 그리고, 용접조건과 강관의 제원이 달라질 경우에도 잔류응력 생성기구가 변함이 없음을 밝혔다.

  • The effect of stress waveforms on corrosin fatigue and the role of dissolution mechanism in 3NilCr steel and 20Ni maraging steel have been investigated in aerated 3% NaCl solution and synthetic seawater under sinusoidal, triangular, square, positive sawtooth, negative sawtooth, and trapezoidal stress waveforms with open circuit at frequency of 1Hz and stress ratio of 0.1. The crack growth rates under square waveform were substantially lower than under sinusoidal and triangular waveforms, but the crack growth rates under sinusoidal waveform were slightly higher under triangular waveform. For a given frequency the growth rates under the positive sawtooth waveform are higher than those under the negative sawtooth waveform. The fatigue crack growth rates of most specimens were in good agreement with the values calculated by the model based on the dissoultion mechanism.

  • The mechanism for instability under PBS (positive bias stress) in amorphous SIZO (Si-In-Zn-O) thin-film transistors was investigated by analyzing the charge trapping mechanism. It was found that the bulk traps in the SIZO channel layer and the channel/dielectric interfacial traps are not created during the PBS duration. This result suggests that charge trapping in gate dielectric, and/or in oxide semiconductor bulk, and/or at the channel/dielectric interface is a more dominant mechanism than the creation of defects in the SIZO-TFTs.

  • 본 논문은 외부 T스티프너로 보강한 콘크리트 충전각형강관-H형강보 접합부의 응력전달 메카니즘을 유한요소해석을 통해 정확히 이해하고, T스티프너에 관한 설계기본자료를 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. 따라서 선행된 실대형 접합부의 실험결과와 비선형 유한요소해석의 결과를 비교함으로써 유한요소해석의 신뢰도를 높였다. 유한요소해석에서 접합부의 응력전달 메카니즘을 이해하기 위해 여러 가지의 응력 및 변형도 지수를 사용하였고, 유한요소해석을 통하여 실험에서 발견된 보플랜지와 수평스티프너 접합부의 응력집중을 감소시킬수 있는 방안을 모색하였다.

Experimental and numerical studies of mono-strand anchorage

  • This paper deals with an experimental and numerical study of a mono-strand wedge anchor head mechanism. First, the experimental program is presented and monitored data such as wedge slippage, anchor deflection and strain distributions along external peripheral surfaces of the anchor head are presented and discussed. In accordance with the experimental set up, these data concern only the global behaviour of the mechanism and cannot provide valuable information such as internal stress-strains distributions, stress concentrations and percentage of yielded volume. Therefore, the second part of this paper deals with the development of an efficient numerical finite element model capable of providing mechanism of the core information. The numerical model which includes all kinematics/material/contact non-linearities is first calibrated using experimental data. Subsequently, a numerical study of the anchorage mechanism is performed and its behaviour is compared to the behaviour of a slightly geometrically modified mechanism where the external diameter has been increased by 5 mm. Finally, different topics influencing the anchorage mechanism behaviour are addressed such as lubrication and wedge shape.
