  • This study intends to ascertain the importance of store atmosphere when construcing store marketing strategies for store differentiation. And it is studied by classifying consumer groups according to clothing shopping motivations, comparing store atmosphere assessment and emotion response of preferred stores, and analyzing the influence store atmosphere has on store preference or impulsive purchase. The subject of this study are women in their twenties living in Seoul, 255 career women and 233 college students totaling 458, and model sampling is done by convenient sampling taking into account the type of their occupation and major. Modified survey based on references and former studies is used, and using SAS packages, methods. The results of data analysis are as follows. 1. Consumer groups are classified into the following four subdivisions: shopping involvement, leisure pursuit, financial, and shopping unconcern group. The stores women in twenties use most frequently for shopping are department stores, speciality stores, common market, discount stores, and wholesale markets, and significant difference are shown between consumer groups. 2. Consumer responses for store atmosphere preferences are shown significantly among groups when concerned with store preferences. 3. Images of store atmosphere as factor analyzed into environment factor, kindness factor, and decoration factor, Environment factor is most highly estimated in speciality stores, kindness factor in department stores, and decoration factor in common markets. 4. Leisure pursuit group is assessed to be most influenced by store atmosphere in store seleciton, impulsive purchase, and after-purchase shopping behavior, and impulsive purchase is shown highly in department stores and speciality stores.

As for the methods of the research 313 female consumers who just finished shopping at discount stores were interviewed and questioned. The result is as the following. 1. The factors such as discount price inclination effective value inclination price-quality association and price-social grade association in the price attitude as well as social psychological risk and the risk of losing opportunity in the risk perception affected consumer's attitude to clothing discount store. 2. The domestic national brand discount store acquired the highest scores in all factors but discount inclination factor and low price inclination factor. No difference was seen between stores in terms of the risk perception. 3. The determining factors for repurchase intention were found to be store satisfaction and the attitude to clothing discount store. 4. The convenience of transportation the availability of exchange or repair the payment option the quality of the product and the attributes of the store e, g, good quality with relatively low price affected the store satisfaction. 5. • When new weapons are introduced, the target points estimation is one of the important objectives in the flight test as well as the safe separation. The prediction methods help to design the flight test schedule. However, the incremental aerodynamic coefficients in the aircraft flow field so-called BSE are difficult to predict. Generally, the semiempirical methods such as the grid methods, IFM and Flow TGP using database are used for estimation of BSE. However, these methods are quasi-steady methods using static aerodynamic loads. Nowadays the time-accurate CFD method is often used to predict the store separation event. In the current process, the incremental aerodynamic coefficients in BSE regime are calculated directly, and the elimination of delta coefficients is checked simultaneously. This stage can be used for the initial condition of Flow TGP with freestream database. Two dimensional supersonic and subsonic store separation problems have been simulated and incremental coefficients are calculated. The results show the time when the store gets out of BSE region.

  • Objectives: This study investigated the menu and nutritional contents of convenience store lunchboxes, and evaluated the nutritional content by meal type, price, and store brand. Methods: In September 2019, 93 convenience store lunchboxes from the top five franchise stores were purchased. Relevant information on price, food weight, food ingredients, cooking methods, and nutrition labeling were subsequently collected. Nutritional content was evaluated based on the daily value (DV) and Index of Nutritional Quality (INQ), and energy contribution of carbohydrate, protein, fat, saturated fat and sugar was compared with the recommended range. Results: Most lunchboxes included the food groups; grains/starches, meats/fish/eggs/legumes, and vegetables. However, none provided fruits, and only a few lunchboxes provided milk/milk products. Stir-frying, deep-frying, and pan-frying were the most frequent methods of cooking. The average energy content of the lunchboxes was 736.6 kcal, whereas the average contents of protein, fat and saturated fat were higher than 40% of the DV, and sodium content was 66.8% of the DV. The contents of most nutrients in traditional type lunchboxes were higher, as compared to nutrients in onedish type lunchboxes. Considering pricing of lunchboxes, protein and sodium contents were higher in the higher-priced lunchboxes as compared to lower-priced lunchboxes, but there were no differences in the INQs. The contents of energy, protein, fat, saturated fat, and cholesterol significantly differed by brand. Conclusions: Our results indicate that convenience store lunchboxes contain high levels of protein, fat, saturated fat, and sodium. The nutritional contents differed by meal type, price, and store brand, and higher price did not imply higher nutritional quality. We propose the need to educate consumers to check nutrition labels and purchase appropriate lunchboxes. Manufacturers also need to make efforts to reduce the amounts of fat, saturated fat, and sodium, and not provide protein in excess.

  • The purpose of this study were 1) to classify the consumer of outlet stole according to their patronage, 2) to investigate the differences between the patronge group and non-patronge group in 3 purchase behavior variables (shopping orientations, importance of store attributes, use of information sources) and demographic variables, and 3) to find out the reasons why consumers prefer outlet to department store's bargain sales (including clearance sales). The questionnaires were administered to 344 women living in Seoul, and the methods used to analyze the data were frequency, factor analysis, 1-test, $x^2$ test and content analysis. The results were as follows 1) outlet store consumers were classified into patronage group(n= 71) and non-patronage group(n=87). 2) There were some significant differences between patronage group and non.patronage group in 6 variables. • How to measure and evaluate the performance of managing a store? Although it is important for a retailer to execute good management in a store, there are few efficient measurement tools and methods for In-store management. Also few people are trying to deal with variety of goods (number of categories), depth of a catagory (number of stock-keeping units within a category), and stock level (the number of individual items of a particular SKU) in a store. To solve the problem, this paper suggests the Customer-Retailer Collaboration (CRC) model that utilizes Gamification. By embedding gaming elements, the store management activities can be viewed as more game-like processes. Customers find some problems they encountered in the store and send the related signals via mobile APP, and the relevant store personnel copes with the signals. As the return for their collaboration, they both will obtain points and badge. This paper designs the CRC model and shows the flow of the model briefly.

  • After 1990's, many multi-level marketing companies lave been introduced in Korea. These MLM companies operate their stores as same way as general retailing stores. The major characteristics of these MLM companys' store is that their main customers are distributors who sell the purchased merchandise to another customers. Many studies about merchandise display in general retailing stores were reported. But, there was less research about merchandise display in these special type stores such as MLM companys' stores. This paper investigates the effects of merchandise display on distributor's merchandise selection in channel flow of multi-level marketing company. For this purpose, we formulated four hypotheses about display variance in quantity, height, location, and related merchandise to analyze the effect of merchandise display methods in MLM companys' stores. The experiment had been proceeded in three stores in a MLM company for 6 weeks and the sales data were collected by POS. The methods to analyze the data were used ANOVA and T-test. Findings of this study are as follows; First, there was no effect to store sale by the interaction effect between merchandise display method and scale of store. Second, scale of store affected considerably the volume of sales of each store according to main effect analysis. Third, display variance in quantity, height, and location did not affect store sale. In the related merchandise display, however, sale in all store was increased. Fourth, in additional analysis considering merchandise display only, display variance in both height and location affected their sale in large scale store. Based on the above results, we may predict merchandise display can affect sale in MLM companys' store as well as general retailing stores. Therefore if MLM company has large scale store, it should consider merchandise display methods in its stores.
