  • The purpose of this study is to perform the post occupancy evaluation in apartment housing with the dining room and kitchen(DK) facing the front side, and then to compare them with findings in unit plan facing the back side. A questionnaire survey method was used in this study. These questionnaires were administered, along with an interview, of 200 households in the apartment of 27-28 pyoung($76.50-78.54\textrm{m}^2$), in Gwangju city. Those living in an apartment with DK facing the front side tend to be less satisfied with the physical feature factors. expecially for layout of rooms, location of second bedroom and master bedroom, size and location of storage spaces, and location and size of balcony than those with the DK facing the back side.

  • This paper is the continuation of the fomer researching "A Study on the Higher-Class houses in Moon-Kyeung Region." and "A Study on the Higher-Class house in Young-Duk area." The study was made to examine the administrative districts in Kyeung Sang Buk Do Province, Korea. This study was aimed to investigate how the houses very according to natural factors including geography and climate. The conclusion is the following: 1) The □-type (A Court House) in the block plan of housing is composed mostly. 2) The □-type (A Winge-House) in the floor plan of housing is more composed than the pure □-type. 3) L-type of the inner space(women's space) is mostly characterized in the floor type and in the type of span-dividision, one and half(1½) spaned house is superior. 4) The majority of the floor plan of the inner space is characterized of the possessing the openning half(½)-spaned room and inner storage room. 5) The cornet-flooring room of outer space(man's space) is charaterized mostly in the floor type.

  • The recently built rural Hanoks have shown changes in appearances regarding its shape, space and size in the traditional floor plan. This is probably the transformation process to suit the needs of modern residence as new spaces and other factors are considered these days. The purpose of the research is to provide basic data for the innovation and construction of future Hankoks by analyzing the size features of the Hanoks in the rural areas of Jeeollanam-do and changing trends. They were divided into 5 types depending on the shape and the spacing of the living room and kitchen. Then size features per each type were analyzed. From this, it was revealed that there needs to be reasonable development of types in the standard design of Hanok because the size of the rooms is actually bigger than the standard design of Hanok in Jeollanam-do. The composition of the utility rooms should be classified as either domestic space or agricultural workspace considering that this area is rural but there are not enough storage spaces for agricultural machines and materials in most houses as they did not install external storage spaces. Therefore, it was analyzed that the size varies with the changes in the composition of space because of Hankok's similarities in the area of the rooms with typical apartments.

  • Domestic Container Terminals have a problem of Yard Planning to load containers at terminal storage because of the narrow yard area, incorrectness of container information and late transmission of information. So this paper has an object that is a plan to use the gate and the storage of container terminal. After the information of vehicle and container is collected in advance by RFID(Radio Frequence Identification) doing active research now.

  • The Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute (KASI) is developing three 1.6m optical telescopes with $18k{\times}18k$ mosaic CCD cameras. These telescopes will be installed and operated at Chile, South Africa, and Australia for Korea Micro-lensing Telescope Network (KMTNet) project. The main scientific goal of the project is to discover earth-like extra-solar planets using the gravitational micro-lensing technique. To achieve the goal, each telescope at three sites will continuously monitor the specific region of Galactic bulge with 2.5 minute cadence for five years. Assuming 12 hour observation in maximum for a night, the amount of 200 GB file storage is required for one night observation at one observatory. If we consider the whole project period and the data processing procedure, a few PB class data storage, high-speed network, and high performance computers are essential. In this presentation, we introduce the KMTNet data management plan that handles gigantic data; raw image collecting, image processing, photometry pipeline, database archiving, and backup.

  • It is a world wide tread for museums to become specialized museums emphasizing their characteristics, but Seongbo museums(museums that preserve Buddhist artifacts) are more general and show no specialization or characterization. The purpose of this study is to emphasize the special character of the Seongbo museum which manages and maintains sacred Buddhist cultural artifacts, and to understand the architectural characteristics of the building distribution and interior composition to implement a more systematic spatial composition plan. For our analysis we selected 6 currently operating museums as our subjects, and analyzed the characteristics of their spatial composition through their plans including the plot plans and ground plans. As a result, we found that most of them were small scale museums, and that the character and rank of each building changed according to its positioning. In terms of areas, the museums consisted of exhibition areas, storage areas, maintenance areas, and other miscellaneous areas and were lacking areas for research and education. It is necessary for these museums to possess facilities for managing these cultural artifacts as well as adequate exhibition and storage spaces. Seongbo museums, which are connected with Buddhist temples, must possess differentiated preservation and maintenance methods unlike museums dealing with artifacts that need only be preserved, and must have an area plan suitable to the characteristics of the various artifacts near and around the temple so as to help build our Buddhist cultural heritage in a systematic and continuous matter.

  • In December 2017, the government announced plans to increase the current proportion of renewable energy from 7% to 20% by 2030 through a plan called the Renewable Energy 3020 Implementation Plan. Therefore, the demand for installation of photovoltaic(PV), wind turbine(WT) and battery energy storage system(BESS) is expected to increase. In particular, the system combined with energy storage system(ESS) is expected to take up a large portion since PV and WT can receive high renewable energy certificates(REC) weights when combined with ESS. In this study, we calculate the optimal capacity of the power conditioning system(PCS) and the BESS by comparing the economical efficiency and maximize the efficiency of the PV-BESS system in which the PV and the BESS are connected. By analyzing the system marginal price(SMP) and REC, it maximize profits through application of REC weight 5.0 and optimal charge-discharge scheduling according to the SMP changes.

  • In distributed computing, accessible encryption strategy over Auditable data is a hot research field. Be that as it may, most existing system on encoded look and auditable over outsourced cloud information and disregard customized seek goal. Distributed storage space get to manage is imperative for the security of given information, where information security is executed just for the encoded content. It is a smaller amount secure in light of the fact that the Intruder has been endeavored to separate the scrambled records or Information. To determine this issue we have actualize (CBC) figure piece fastening. It is tied in with adding XOR each plaintext piece to the figure content square that was already delivered. We propose a novel heterogeneous structure to evaluate the issue of single-point execution bottleneck and give a more proficient access control plot with a reviewing component. In the interim, in our plan, a CA (Central Authority) is acquainted with create mystery keys for authenticity confirmed clients. Not at all like other multi specialist get to control plots, each of the experts in our plan deals with the entire trait set independently. Keywords: Cloud storage, Access control, Auditing, CBC.

  • Spent nuclear fuel(SNF) is stored in nuclear power plants for a certain period of time and then transported to an interim storage facility. After that, SNF is finally repackaged in a disposal canister at an encapsulation plant for final disposal. Finland and Sweden, leading countries in SNF disposal technology, have already completed designing of spent fuel encapsulation plant. In particular, the encapsulation plant construction in Finland is near completion. When it comes to South Korea, as the amount of SNF production and disposal plan is different from those in Finland and Sweden, it is difficult to apply the concepts of these contries as is. Therefore, it is necessary to establish the spent fuel repackaging concept and to derive each operating and repackaging procedures by considering annual disposal plan of South Korea. The results of this study is expected to be used to establish the concept of optimized encapsulation plant through further research.
