A Study on Stress of Children Comparing Two-parent Families and Other Types of Families -Girls’ High School Students in Puchon City- (양친가정과 결손가정 자녀의 스트레스 인지도에 관한 비교연구 -부천시 여고생을 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to acquire basic materials to help the students Others of families in their homes through understanding them. This study was based on the questions asked to 100 students without parents in their homes and 100 students in standard homes. Percentage, T-test, counseling sample were used for statistical report. The following are the analysed results of this study. 1. Among the ten events, except for family life and economic problems, there were no distinguished contrasts between the students without parents in their homes and the students in standard homes. 2. The factors influencing stress are mainly plan for future, social environment, school life and learning and students without parents are especially affected by economic problem. 3. Comparing students without parents with one another in stress, the students without parents have economic problem and deficiency of affeetion, the students without father economic problem and their mothers health, the students without mother the difficulty of house affairs and emotional uneasiness of family. The students with step-mother have much misunderstasnding because of the lack of conversation among their family. The students with step-father hardly kconverse with their father and feel uneasy in family life. Based on all can be gailed these results, the following conclusion. 1) The students Other Types of families are stressed much more than the students in standard homes in family life and economic problems. 2) All Students are Stressed by bad environment, the plan of future, scholl and learning, 3) Comparing the Stubents without parents with one another, the students without parents have economics probem and deficiency of affeetion, the students without father economic problem and their mothers health, the students without mother house affairs and emotional uneasiness off family. The students of step-father and step-mother have the misuder standing by the lark of comversation, the deficiency of affection and the uneasiness off family life.

Dynamic Hand Gesture Recognition using Guide Lines (가이드라인을 이용한 동적 손동작 인식)

  • Generally, dynamic hand gesture recognition is formed through preprocessing step, hand tracking step and hand shape detection step. In this paper, we present advanced dynamic hand gesture recognizing method that improves performance in preprocessing step and hand shape detection step. In preprocessing step, we remove noise fast by using dynamic table and detect skin color exactly on complex background for controling skin color range in skin color detection method using YCbCr color space. Especially, we increase recognizing speed in hand shape detection step through detecting Start Image and Stop Image, that are elements of dynamic hand gesture recognizing, using Guideline. Guideline is edge of input hand image and hand shape for comparing. We perform various experiments with nine web-cam video clips that are separated to complex background and simple background for dynamic hand gesture recognition method in the paper. The result of experiment shows similar recognition ratio but high recognition speed, low cpu usage, low memory usage than recognition method using learning exercise.

A study on the development of fashion illustration course using contour drawing (콘투어 드로잉을 활용한 패션 일러스트레이션 교과 개발 연구)

  • This study has established a fashion illustration education plan using the contour drawing that fosters observational ability and enables creative drawing. This study developed two illustration curriculum proposals consisting of 15 weeks, combining literature and case studies. The researchers organized a step-by-step teaching plan that utilizes contour drawing according to the three stages of fashion illustration classes: foundation courses, general courses, and intensive courses. When the contour drawing is used at the beginning stage of the foundation courses of fashion illustration, it can be used as a technique to reduce the fear of students about practical skills, induce interest in illustration, and cultivate observation ability about objects. In general process, it is combined with various tools and coloring materials to strengthen expression power, and it is possible to produce detailed expressions and illustrations about human body and clothing. In intensive courses, it is expanded to the production of creative works with new aesthetics through digital techniques and mixed materials. As such, the contour drawing is expanded in various ways according to the learning contents and goals of each step, and is flexibly adjusted according to the learning content. Contour drawing has the effect of acquiring observation and expression ability, and it is analyzed as a technique that enables the production of creative illustration of students.

Development and Application of the Teaching Program for Improving Science Drawing Skills (과학그림 그리기 능력 신장을 위한 교수.학습 프로그램의 개발 및 적용)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of utilization of drawing skills in elementary science class on improving scientific drawing. The learning program has been developed for 5th grade students in the regular classes in order to enhance scientific drawing skills. The program was composed of three steps, understanding the kinds of drawing, imitating sample drawing, representing through observation. The developed program was verified by the science education scholars and teachers. Students trained during 3 hours with scientific drawing skills step by step. As a result, students significantly improved skills in scientific drawing skills. Furthermore, the effect was sustained after a month. On the other hand, there were no statistically meaningful differences on scientific attitudes and preferences.

A Program for University Student's IT Leadership Renovation

  • In this paper, we propose a new program for university student's IT leadership renovation. Automation and Artificial Intelligence(AI) are changing the nature of work. According to MGI report, they will change the skills needed in the workforce. Leadership is one of the skills needed more of in the future at workplace including IT industry. Leadership could be defined as having 5 level leadership. According to the 5 level leadership, a program was formulated to renovate university student's self-leadership, teamwork, team leadership and finally global leadership. We named the program as Stepping-Stone Platform for Student's IT Leadership Renovation(SSP-SLR). Each level of four stepping stones consists of one semester. Student can raise their leadership skills by the program step by step. Various instruction learning methodologies are adopted to the program, including Flipped learning which has been proved effective in many ways in the field of education recently.

  • The subject of this study was the graph of relation of direct inverse proportion, linear function and quadratic function in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade of current middle school mathematics curriculum. GSP materials were developed to simplify the principle, trait and characteristics of graphs and make them easier to understand. The overall aim of the materials is to improve the effectiveness of teaching and learning through the utilization of enhanced students' practice. Additionally, the use of the GSP will be useful in the development of mere effective materials. The effectiveness of the GSP materials will be as followings. 1. The step by step approach of GSP materials through computer interaction will enhance students motivation and interest in mathematics. 2. By presenting the subject matter simply and in a variety of ways, difficult concepts can be understood without the use of complex mathematical calculation. 3. The GSP program is different from CAI and other software programs. It should be used only after learning how to input and output data.

Development of Simulation App Tool for Understanding 8 Process Scheduling Policies

  • In this study, an simulation app was developed as one of the methods to help learners better understand the eight process scheduling policies of multi-programming. In learning, an app in the form of a simulation should provide a realistic environment and allow learners to practice. To do this, the needs of the learners were investigated and analyzed, and the purpose was set, designed, and programmed based on the learners' understanding. And it was shown that the apps as a tool to simulate the created eight scheduling policies are performing well. In particular, it was shown that the problem of not having a step-by-step various diagram and explanation for step-by-step various inputs, which is a limitation of paper textbooks, can be solved using these tools.

Exploring a Hypothetical Learning Trajectory of Linear Programming by the Didactical Analysis (선형계획법의 교수학적 분석을 통한 가설 학습 경로 탐색)

  • Linear programming(LP) is useful for finding the best way in a given condition for some list of requirements represented as linear equations. This study analysed LP in mathematics contexts and LP in school mathematics contexts, considered learning process of LP from an epistemological point of view, and explored a hypothetical learning trajectory of LP. The differences between mathematics contexts and school mathematics contexts are whether they considered that the convex polytope $\Omega$ is feasible/infeasible or bounded/unbounded or not, and whether they prove the theorem that the optimum is always attained at a vertex of the polyhedronor not. And there is a possibility that students could not understand what is maximum and minimum of a linear function when the domain of the function is limited. By considering these three aspects, we constructed hypothetical learning trajectory consisted of 4 steps. The first step is to see a given linear expression as linear function, the second step is to partition a given domain by straight lines, the third step is to construct the conception of y-intercept by relating lines and the range of k, and the forth step is to identify whether there exists the optimum in a given domain or not.

A Study on the Prediction of Learning Results Using Machine Learning (기계학습을 활용한 대학생 학습결과 예측 연구)

  • Recently, There has been an increasing of utilization IT, and studies have been conducted on predicting learning results. In this study, Learning activity data were collected that could affect learning outcomes by using learning analysis. The survey was conducted at a university in South Chung-Cheong Province from October to December 2018, with 1,062 students taking part in the survey. First, A Hierarchical regression analysis was conducted by organizing a model of individual, academic, and behavioral factors for learning results to ensure the validity of predictors in machine learning. The model of hierarchical regression was significant, and the explanatory power (R2) was shown to increase step by step, so the variables injected were appropriate. In addition, The linear regression analysis method of machine learning was used to determine how predictable learning outcomes are, and its error rate was collected at about 8.4%.

  • Recent national attention on English conversation continued, smartphone game has emerged into the mainstream of game industry. In this study, smartphone serious game that combines english conversation learning and smartphone game for learning english conversation was designed and implemented. English sentence patterns separated words, phrases, and sentences was able to learn step-by-step and repeatedly. Also, Throughout the game of different type by stage was to provide interested. Test results were discovered the problem not causing continuous user interest. To compensate for this, study of a game changes element and difficulty adjusting will be followed.
