단면성형 해석에 의한 자동차 내부 판넬의 설계 (Design of automotive inner panel by sectional forming analysis)

  • A finite element program was developed using line elements for simulating the stretch/draw forming operation of an arbitrarily-shaped plane-strain section. An implicit, incremental, updated Lagrangian formulation is employed, introducing a minimum plastic work path assumption for each time step. Geometric and material nonlinearities are also considered within each time step. The finite element equation is based on the mesh-normal, which compatibly describes arbitrary tool surfaces and FEM meshes without depending on the explicit spatial derivatives of tool surfaces. The membrane approximation is adopted under the plane stress assumption. The sheet material is assumed to obey a rigid-viscoplastic constitutive law. The developed program was tested in the die-tryout of typical automotive inner panels. In order to determine a single friction coefficient and boundary length, FEM results and measurements of thinning for a stretched section of final die were compared. After finding analysis parameters, the sheet forming operations of original and final die designs were simulated. Excellent agreement between measured and computed thickness strains was obtained and the developed program was able to identify die designs which were rejected during die tryout.

  • This paper describes the design and the analysis of electromagnetic system of Magnetic Switch using 2D parametric finite element method(EM-Pulse). Magnetic Switch is electrical equipment, which is widely used for switching on/off motors in industrial field. The transient state is simulated in order to calculate the response time of Magnetic Switch. The simulation is based upon a step-by-step integration of the electric circuit equations and the core movement. The contactor uses a permanent magnet for maintaining the closed state. The presented solution takes account of non-linear magnetic material property and spring force controlled by core position. The dynamic response of Magnetic Switch predicted by the simulation agrees closely with the required condition.

  • Electro-hydraulic servo motor is used to a lot of in the field of industrial equipment which requires one of the control functions among pressure, flow, and power output. In this paper, linear discrete reference model of the electro-hydraulic servo motor system are made for 1-step ahead predictive control. The parameters of electro-hydraulic servo motor system are estimated using the recursive least square method. 1-step ahead predictive model output of electro-hydraulic servo motor system corresponded to reference model output in spite of estimated parameters are not meet real parameters. Control performance affections are studied due to the forgetting factors variation.

  • 체계 요구조건에 빠르고 정확한 자료제공을 위해 고체추진기관 구조체에 대한 설계자동화 프로그램인 'ProDes'를 개발하고 검증하여 그 성능을 입증하였다 주어진 체계설계 요구도 및 구속조건으로부터 총 개발기간과 인력을 획기적으로 감소시키며, 또 설계, 해석, 시뮬레이션 및 도면화 등 일련의 업무를 통합적으로 수행하기 위해 프로그램 개발이 수행되었다. 프로그램은 모듈화되어 있으며, 각 단계별 계산은 설계 변수별 적용연구가 수행되어 최종 설계 목표치에 도달되도록 구성 되어있다. 다양한 종류의 마스터 모델로 된 구성품과 체결형태는 구축된 라이브러리 DB 모듈로부터 얻어진다. 개발 프로그램을 이용한 추진기관 구조체 설계와 기존 상세된 설계를 비교 분석한 결과 서로 잘 일치함을 확인하였다.

3상 인버터 구동기를 이용하는 교류 서보전동기의 전류제어 파라미터 계측법 (A.C. servo motor current control parameter measurement strategy using the three phase inverter driver)

  • 본 논문에서는 교류 서보 전동기 PI 전류제어를 위한 주요 시스템 파라미터인 상저항과 상인덕턴스를 측정하는 방법을 제시한다. 서보 전동기 전류제어를 위한 PI 제어이득은 주요 계통 파라미터인 권선간 저항과 인덕턴스 정보를 활용하여 튜닝하는 자동적 방법이 기본적으로 사용된다. 본 연구에서는 이 두 파라미터를 3상 인버터 제어를 통해 계측하는 방법을 제시한다. 이 제어 및 계측 방법은 3상 인버터를 이용하여 3상 권선에 비례입력 만을 이용하는 스텝 전류제어를 수행하고 그 결과로 얻어진 출력 상전류를 측정함으로써 구현된다. 더불어 이 방법은 권선간 인덕턴스 계측을 위해 특정 스위칭모드에서의 인버터 자연-순환(freewheeling) 전류를 이용한다. 이 인버터 제어를 이용하는 측정 방법은 새로운 추가 계측 회로 및 복잡한 계측 알고리즘을 사용하지 않고 실시간으로 파라미터들을 계측 및 연산할 수 있는 해석적 방법이다. 실제 전동기 제어에 사용되어지는 구동기 회로를 그대로 사용하면서 스위칭소자의 도통저항과 각종 결선 저항을 포함하는 합성 저항 및 인덕턴스를 계측할 수 있는 방법이다.

OpenCASCADE를 이용한 CAD 모델의 오류 진단 시스템의 개발 (Development of a Diagnosis System far CAD Model Errors using OpenCASCADE)

  • Automotive engineers involved in a new car project use various CAD systems that are chosen based on work requirements. For example, engineers in Hyundai Motors are using Pro/Designer and Alias fur the style design, but they use CATIA to design parts and assemblies, ANSYS for FEM analysis, and Pro/Engineer to design engines. Because they use different CAD systems, they have difficulties in collaborative design. Data, which contains errors, is transferred between CAD systems. It is difficult to find out such errors in a large CAD model. An evaluation method for CAD models has been developed in this study. This diagnosis tool analyses a STEP or an IGES file generated from a CAD system, and produces a quantitative error report. The tool has been tested with actual data sets. This paper proposes an algorithm that produces mathematical error values of entities of IGES models that have geometrical data, and entities of STEP models that have topological data, and inspects every part off model. To develop this system, we have used the OpenCASCADE kernel, which is an open source kernel developed by Matra Datavision of France.

태양정밀추적 알고리즘의 LabVIEW 적용 연구 (The Study on the Application of Accurate Solar Tracking Algorithm by using LabVIEW)

  • There have been many developed systems for harnessing the solar energy such as solar water heaters, solar thermal power systems, PV systems, daylighting and solar hydrogen systems. all of them are capable of reducing $CO_2$ emission. However, the efficiency of those systems which work without a solar tracker is lower. This paper is a step by step procedure for fabrication and a performance test of a solar tracking system. The system developed in this study consists of motion controllers, motor drives, step-motors, feedback devices and application. CdS sensors are introduced into the solar tracking system for playing a primary role in poor conditions for tracking due to a gear backlash and a strong wind. Mini-dish was used as a concentrator for collecting sun light. The solar position data, in terms of azimuth and elevation, sunrise and sunset times was compared with those of KASI(Korea Astronomy & Space Science Institute). The results presented in this article provide the high accuracy of the present system in solar tracking and indicate a potential for energy savings.

수·전동 휠체어 구동부 시스템 설계 (Design of Electric Automatic Manual Wheelchair Driving System)

  • 환자 및 노약자 이동에 중요한 역할을 하고 있는 수 전동휠체어의 핵심부인 구동부를 새롭게 설계했다. 구동부는 고속모터와 다단기어 치형을 설계적용하고, 굽힘강도와 면압강도를 고려해 큰 추진력을 얻을 수 있도록 성능을 검증하였다. B-Type의 마찰판식 클러치 전자식 브레이크(다판 방식의 무여자 작동형)를 동 축상에 설치해, 큰 토크에도 급격한 제동이 가능하도록 했다. 본 연구에 설계된 다단치차 감속기를 수 전동휠체어 구동장치에 사용하므로서, 소형화, 경량화를 이루고 구동 효율이 기존제품보다 30% 향상된 구동부를 구성할 수 있었으며, 보수 및 관리의 용이성을 함께 추구했다.

Networked Intelligent Motor-Control Systems Using LonWorks Fieldbus

  • The integration of intelligent devices, devices-level networks, and software into motor control systems can deliver improved diagnostics, fast warnings for increased system reliability, design flexibility, and simplified wiring. Remote access to motor-control information also affords an opportunity for reduced exposure to hazardous voltage and improved personnel safety during startup and trouble-shooting. This paper presents LonWorks fieldbus networked intelligent induction control system architecture. Experimental bed system with two inverter motor driving system for controlling 1.5kW induction motor is configured for LonWorks networked intelligent motor control. In recent years, MCCs have evolved to include component technologies, such as variable-speed drives, solid-state starters, and electronic overload relays. Integration was accomplished through hardwiring to a programmable logic controller (PLC) or distributed control system (DCS). Devicelevel communication networks brought new possibilities for advanced monitoring, control and diagnostics. This LonWorks network offered the opportunity for greatly simplified wiring, eliminating the bundles of control interwiring and corresponding complex interwiring diagrams. An intelligent MCC connected in device level control network proves users with significant new information for preventing or minimizing downtime. This information includes warnings of abnormal operation, identification of trip causes, automated logging of events, and electronic documentation. In order to show the application of the multi-motors control system, the prototype control system is implemented. This paper is the first step to drive multi-motors with serial communication which can satisfy the real time operation using LonWorks network.

VCM을 이용한 노광기용 정밀 레티클 스테이지의 저진동 제어시스템 개발 (Design of the Low Hunting Controller for the Reticle Stage for Lithography)

  • This paper presents a new design of the precision stage for the reticle in lithography process and a low hunting control method for the stage. The stage has three axes for X, Y, ${\theta}_z$ those actuated by three voice coil motors individually. The designed reticle stage system has three gap sensors and voice coil motors, and supported by four air bearings and the forward/inverse kinematics of the stage were solved to get an accurate reference position. When a stage is in regulating control mode, there always exist small fluctuations(stage hunting) in the stage movement. Because the low stage hunting characteristic is very important in recent lithography and nano-level applications, a special regulating controller for ultra low hunting is proposed in this paper. Also this research proposed the 2-step transmission system for preventing the noise infection from environmental devices. The experimental results showed the proposed regulating control system reduced hunting noise as 35nm(rms) when a conventional PID generates 77nm(rms) in the same mechanical system. Besides the reticle stage has 100nm linear accuracy and $1{\mu}rad$ rotation accuracy at the control frequency of 8kHz.
