  • While the environment of usage of information and technology is getting stable and technology is being developed more deeply due to the globalization, making information, standardization, in order to make a fast response to the new industry strategy and business environment, mutual communication and management of correct and fast information are focused on as fundamental elements of keeping competitive power. Accordingly strategic development of urban transit operation organization, storage of information technology of urban railroad, and buildup of standard information infra are very important, so that computerized information system has been built up standardizing efficient maintenance framework of urban transit facilities. To maintain these facilities efficiently, storing the real-time information by standardizing the maintenance organization and building up computerized information system are very important with management of information history of existing maintenance work. Therefore, for the efficient maintenance of station facilities among urban transit facilities, standardized facilities classification and definition of management elements, and the plan of designing and building standardized database about station facilities through standardizing technology resources are described in, this paper.

극지해양구조물 성능평가를 위한 스펙트럼 기반 시간역 빙하중 생성에 관한 연구 (Ice Load Generation in Time Domain Based on Ice Load Spectrum for Arctic Offshore Structures)

  • This paper introduces a new method of ice load generation in the time domain for the station-keeping performance evaluation of Arctic offshore structures. This method is based on the ice load spectrum and mean ice load. Recently, there has been increasing interest in Arctic offshore technology for the exploration and exploitation of the Arctic region because of the better accessibility to the Arctic ocean provided by the global warming effect. It is essential to consider the ice load during the development of an Arctic offshore structure. In particular, when designing a station-keeping system for an Arctic offshore structure, a consideration of the ice load acting on the vessel in the time domain is essential to ensure its safety and security. Several methods have been developed to consider the ice load in the time domain. However, most of the developed methods are computationally heavy because they consider every ice floe in the sea ice field to calculate the ice load acting on the vessel. In this study, a new approach to generate the ice load in the time domain with computational efficiency was suggested, and its feasibility was examined. The ice load spectrum and mean ice load were acquired from a numerical analysis with GPU-event mechanics (GEM) software, and the ice load with the varying heading of a vessel was reconstructed to show the feasibility of the proposed method.

Icevaning control of an Arctic offshore vessel and its experimental validation

  • Managing with the presence of sea ice is the primary challenge in the operation of floating platforms in the Arctic region. It is widely accepted that offshore structures operating in Arctic conditions need station-keeping methods as well as ice management by icebreakers. Dynamic Positioning (DP) is one of the station-keeping methods that can provide mobility and flexibility in marine operations. The presence of sea ice generates complex external forces and moments acting on the vessel, which need to be counteracted by the DP system. In this paper, an icevaning control algorithm is proposed that enables Arctic offshore vessels to perform DP operations. The proposed icevaning control enables each vessel to be oriented toward the direction of the mean environmental force induced by ice drifting so as to improve the operational safety and reduce the overall thruster power consumption by having minimum external disturbances naturally. A mathematical model of an Arctic offshore vessel is summarized for the development of the new icevaning control algorithm. To determine the icevaning action of the Arctic offshore vessel without any measurements and estimation of ice conditions including ice drift, task and null space are defined in the vessel model, and the control law is formulated in the task space. A backstepping technique is utilized to handle the nonlinearity of the Arctic offshore vessel's dynamic model, and the Lyapunov stability theory is applied to guarantee the stability of the proposed icevaning control algorithm. Experiments are conducted in the ice tank of the Korea Research Institute of Ships and Ocean Engineering to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed approach.

필름두께 및 적외선 흡수율 차이가 참외의 품질 및 수량에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Heat Conservation of Greenhouse Film on Growth and Quality in Oriental Melon)

  • 참외 재배시설의 광 환경 개선을 위하여 필름두께, 자외선 차단율, 적외선 흡수율이 다른 PO계 필름 3종(J-1, J-2, J-3), PE 필름(K-1, K-2, K-3)을 비교하여 참외를 재배한 결과는 다음과 같다. 재배지역과 품종에 따라 다소의 차이는 있으나 오복꿀참외의 경우, K-3의 당도는 $14.3^{\circ}Brix$이고 J-3, J-2에서는 이보다 각각 $1.3^{\circ}Brix,\;0.8^{\circ}Brix$ 정도 높은 경향이었다. 과피의 색도(a 값)는 K-3의 0.5에 비하여 J-3, J-1, J-2에서 각각 3.3, 2.3, 1.9 정도 더 높았다. 또한 J-1, J-2, J-3 처리구에서 발효과율 및 기형과율이 감소하였고 상품과 율은 증가하였다. 10a당 상품수량은 K-3의 1,622 kg에 비하여 J-1, J-3, J-2에서 각각 31.2%, 23.8%, 18.5%증가하였다. 이상의 결과로 볼 때 J-1, J-2, J-3등의 polyolefin계 필름은 필름두께가 두껍고 적외선 흡수율이 높아 보온효과가 우수하였으며 이로 인하여 과실의 당도가 증가하고 색도가 우수한 것으로 생각된다. 또한 발효과 발생이 감소하고 상품과율이 증가하는 등 품질이 향상되었고 수량도 증가되었다.

무선 센서 네트워크에서 에너지의 효율적 사용방법 (An Efficient Energy Usage of Wireless Sensor Network)

  • Wireless sensor network may be installed where it is hard to access or where one has to constantly gather data without any human's monitoring. Sensors which compose a sensor network are usually small with poor battery capacities and thus energy-efficient usage is very important because of difficulties in replacing or recharging the batteries to make the lifetime of the whole sensor network longer. LEACH protocol, a well-known hierarchical routing protocol, may resolve this problem by distributing the role of cluster header evenly to the sensor nodes in the whole area of network at each round. In this thesis, we introduce a variant of LEACH protocol which considers the distance between base station and sensors in the way that if a node is far from the base station then the probability that this node becomes a cluster header is low. Experiments to evaluate the energy efficiency and the ability to collect the information show that the proposed method in this paper has maintained much wider sensing area while keeping the energy efficiency same as LEACH.

시설하우스 외피복재 종류에 따른 참외과실의 성분 함량 (Nutritional Components Content of Oriental Melon Fruits Cultivated under Different Greenhouse Covering Films)

  • 참외의 저온기 무가온 시설재배에서 원적외선 흡수율이나 무적성 등의 물리적 특성을 향상시킨 필름 피복이 참외 과실품질에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위하여 과실 성분을 조사하였다. 일반 PE필름과 기능성이 추가된 5가지의 필름을 5동의 하우스에 피복하여 성주지역 2곳에 각각 설치한 후 재배하였다. 하우스 내부 온도는 높은 적외선 흡수를 보였던 필름인 J-1과 J-2에서 K-3에 비해 약 $2{\sim}5^{\circ}C$정도 높았다. 과실의 ${\beta}-carotene$ 함량과 당함량은 기능성 필름과 일반필름에서 유의성 있는 차이를 보여 J-1, J-2, J-3 및 K-1에서 높게 나타났는데 이것은 필름의 특성에 따른 보온효과 때문인 것으로 생각된다. 성숙 후 단맛을 좌우하는 sucrose 함량도 기능성 필름에서 높았는데 이로 인해 당도도 향상되는 결과를 보였다. Ascorbic acid 함량은 투광량과 보온성이 낮은 K-2에서 더 높은 경향을 보였고 무기원소 함량은 처리간에 차이가 없었다. 이상의 결과는 참외의 저온기 단동 하우스재배에서 보온성과 투광성을 향상시킨 필름을 피복함으로써 참외 과실의 품질을 일부 개선할 수 있음을 시사하였다.

지역방송국 기록관리 현황과 개선 방안 (A Study on the Current Status and Improvement Methods for Records Management in Local Broadcasting Stations)

  • 본 연구는 지역방송국들의 기록관리 현황을 분석하고 개선방안을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 분석의 기준점이 되어 줄 KBS서울총국을 비롯하여 KBS 지역방송국 1곳, MBC 지역방송국 1곳, 지역민방 2곳을 방문하여 담당자와의 면담을 통한 현황 조사를 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 대부분의 지역방송국은 디지털로 생산되어 송출된 방송영상물은 방송국 내 서버를 통해 비교적 체계적으로 보관하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 이들은 과거에 생산된 아날로그 자료에 대한 디지털화 작업을 실시하지 않고, 보유 기록물의 수량조차 정확하게 파악하지 못하고 있었다. 게다가 보존설비나 검색장비가 낙후되어 기록물에 대한 기본적인 보존과 이용에 있어서 어려움이 많은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 방송국 자체 기록관리 규정 마련, 목록 작성을 통한 보유 기록물 수량 파악, 아날로그 기록에 대한 디지털화 작업 실시, PD들에 대한 메타데이터 교육 등의 개선방안을 제안하였다.

50m급 중고도 무인 비행선의 자동비행시스템 설계 (Design of Flight Control System for KARI Unmanned Airship)

  • The flight control system designed for an unmanned airship, which is under development by KARI, is in reduced. First, the dynamic characteristics of the airship are addressed, which are fairly different from those of the nominal aircraft. In order to implement autonomous flight for the unmanned airship, flight control logic is designed including autopilot and guidance law. The autopilot is designed under consideration of the velocity region of the unmanned airship. The guidance laws are implemented in main operational modes such as point navigation, station keeping and spiral up/down for emergency return. Their simulation results are also presented in order to validate performances of the flight control system.

역사내 자전거보관소 설치 방안 (Bicycle Custody Place Provision in the Station)

  • Central government and local self-governing bodies are actively promoting bicycle-riding as a solution for transportation, environment, energy and health. They put lot of efforts in the practice of bicycle-related policies such as building bicycle-related infrastructure and creating task force team to improve the bicycle-related systems. However, there is no substantive improvement in the city rail operation agencies regarding the bicycle-related facilities and operation. The expansion of bicycle-related infrastructure in city rail stations is urgently required considering the increase in demands from the bicycle-riders for the facility and bicycle-related service improvement. Accordingly, this study suggests a bicycle-riding vitalization plan linking the city rail and bicycle by providing with a bicycle custody place in the city rail stations which will have comprehensive convenience facilities including the safe-keeping facility for bicycles.

Implementation of Inter-vehicle Communication System and Experiments of Longitudinal Vehicle Platoon Control via a Testbed

  • This study considers the implementation issues of the inter-vehicle communication system for the vehicle platoon experiments via a testbed. The testbed, which consists of three scale vehicles and one RCS(remote control station), is developed as a tool for functions evaluation between simulation studies and full-sized vehicle researches in the previous study. The cooperative communication of the vehicle-to-vehicle or the vehicle-to-roadside plays a key role for keeping the relative spacing of vehicles small in a vehicle platoon. The static platoon control, where the number of vehicles remains constant, is sufficient for the information to be transmitted in the suitably fixed interval, while the dynamic platoon control such as merge or split requires more flexible network architecture for the dynamical coordination of the communication sequence. In this study, the wireless communication device and the reliable protocol of the flexible network architecture are implemented for our testbed, using the low-cost, ISM band transceiver and the 8-bit microcontroller.
