이제마(李濟馬)의 우주론(宇宙論)과 사상적(四象的) 장부배속(臟腑配屬) 타당성(妥當性) 고찰(考察) (태극-심(太極-心), 사상(四象)-폐비간신(肺脾肝腎)의 사상적(四象的) 이해) (A Study on the Cosmology of Lee Jae-Ma and the Propriety of the Visceral Assignment by Sa-sang Constitution.)

  • The methodology of the Oriental philosophy is deductive and that of the of Occidental philosophy is inductive. Therefore study on the Oriental philosophy must start from right comprehension of fundamental premise before detailed analysis. The writer studied the meaning of the cosmology which forms the basis of Sa-sang constitutional philosophy and the propriety of visceral assignment by Sa-sang constitution which forms the theoletiacal basis of Sa-sang constitutional medicine. The results are following ; 1. The cosmology of Lee jae-ma has the existent principle but don't have the side of the formative principie. 2. The cosmology of Lee jae-ma is not that searchs for the objective rule of nature but that centers around a human being by subjective understanding system. 3. The cosmology consists of four elements, that is mind(心), body(身), events(事), and nature(物). Among them mind and body means a human being, nature means the natural environment containing time and space, events means not that of nature but that of human being. 4. The mind and body as Yin-yang(陰陽) means the state which objects and self become one. 5. The mind as the Great-Absolute(太極) has the possibility of two interpretation, Firstly it means the state of the source of life which nature and human being become one, and secondly it means that the mind of a human being becomes the cosmos or the center of the cosmos. 6. In the visceral assignment by Sa-sang constitution the position of heart, the Great-Absolute in center is immanent within four viscera and the function of it is that the undifferentiated unitary organic body, after it is diffrentiated still serves as the unitary organic whole by mutual connection, adjustment, unification and supervision. 7. The Great-Absolute in center is divided into the Great-Absolute of mind and that of body. And the Great-Absolute of body consists of the heart and the system of blood vessel, that of mind means the self-consciousness(自我).

Performance Improvement in Single-Phase Electric Spring Control

  • Two objectives can be pursued simultaneously with the ${\delta}$ control of a single-phase electric spring (ES). These objectives are the stabilization of the voltage across the critical load (CL) of a power system, and the achievement of a specific functionality similar to the pure compensation of reactive power or the correction of the power factor. However, existing control systems implementing the ${\delta}$ control do not cope with non-ideal operating conditions, such as line voltage distortions, and exhibit a somewhat sluggish regulation of the CL voltage. In an effort to improve both the steady-state and transient performances of an ES power system, this paper proposes implementing the ${\delta}$ control by means of a control system built up on the repetitive control and assisted by state feedback with pole assignment. This paper starts by analyzing the dynamics of an ES power system in terms of its poles and zeros. After that, a reduced second-order model of the dynamics is formulated to avoid a notch filter in the pole assignment. A repetitive control for an ES power system is then designed to meet the two above mentioned objectives. Experimental tests carried out on a laboratory setup demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control system in significantly improving the ES power system performance, while reaching the two objectives. In particular, the tests outline the large mitigation of harmonics in the CL voltage under line voltage distortions and its fast stabilization action.

항만하역노동력의 최적배분에 관한 연구 (II) 선박군의 경우 (OPTIMUM ALLOCATION OF PORT LABOR GANGS IN CASE OF MULTIPLE SHIPS)

  • Recently recognize the labor productivity of port physical distribution system in the port and shipping areas, Much Efforts for evaluating this productivity has been made continuously. BUt still there is little study, so far, on a systematic research for the management of port labor gangs, and even those were mainly depended on a rule of thumb. Especially the object of this study is to introduce the method of optimal allocation and assignment for the labor gangs per pier unit in the multiple ships berthed at an arbitary pier or port. In case the multiple ships have a homogeneous cargoes or do not have sufficient labor gangs to be assigned. The problem of optimal allocation and assignment of the labor gangs to be i) formalized with multi-state decision process in form of difference equation as the pattern which converted the independent multiple ships into a single ship with the intra-multiple ships, and ii) the optimal size of labor gangs could be obtained through the simple mathematical method instead of complicated dynamic programming, and iii) In case of shortage of labor gangs available the evaluation function considering the labor gangs available and total shift times was introduced, and iv) the optimal allocation and assignment of labor gangs was dealt at the point of minimizing the summation of the total shift times and at the point of minimizing the total cost charged for the extra waiting time except PHI time during port times for the multiple ships combinations.

Backbone NMR chemical shift assignment for the substrate binding domain of Escherichia coli HscA

  • HscA is a Hsp70-type chaperone protein that plays an essential role to mediate the iron-sulfur (Fe-S) cluster biogenesis mechanism in Escherichia coli. Like other Hsp70 chaperones, HscA is composed of two domains: the nucleotide binding domain (NBD), which can hydrolyze ATP and use its chemical energy to facilitate the Fe-S cluster transfer process, and the substrate binding domain (SBD), which directly interacts with the substrate, IscU, the scaffold protein of an Fe-S cluster. In the present work, we prepared the isolated SBD construct of HscA (HscA(SBD)) and conducted the solution-state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) experiments to have its backbone chemical shift assignment information. Due to low spectral quality of HscA(SBD), we obtained all the NMR data from the sample containing the peptide LPPVKIHC, the HscA-interaction motif of IscU, from which the chemical shift assignment could be done successfully. We expect that this information provides an important basis to execute detailed structural characterization of HscA and appreciate its interaction with IscU.

태그상태 변경과 마스터리더 지정을 통한 RFID 프라이버시 보호 방안 (Methods for Change of Tag States and Assignment of Master Leaders to Protect RFID Privacy)

  • 프라이버시 문제는 RFID 응용 확산의 가장 큰 요인들 중의 하나로 인식되고 있다. 본 논문에서는RFID 응용에서의 프라이버시 보호를 위한 태그상태 변경 방법과 마스터리더를 지정하는 방안을 제안한다. 태그상태의 변경을 통하여, 태그 정보의 획득을 모든 리더가 가능하도록 할 수도 있고, 특정 리더(마스터리더)로 제한할 수 있다. 또한, 태그의 소유주의 변경에 따라 태그의 정보를 취득 가능한 마스터리더를 지정케 함으로써 타인에 의한 물품 정보의 취득을 제한하도록 할 수 있다. 이들 제안 방법을 통하여, 개인이 소유한 태그들의 정보가 불법적으로 노출되는 것을 방지하여 프라이버시 문제가 해결 가능할 것으로 기대한다.

학습과 망각에 대한 작업자들의 이질성 정도가 시스템 생산성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Worker Heterogeneity in Learning and Forgetting on System Productivity)

  • Incorporation of individual learning and forgetting behaviors within worker-task assignment models produces a mixed integer nonlinear program (MINLP) problem, which is difficult to solve as a NP hard due to its nonlinearity in the objective function. Previous studies commonly assume homogeneity among workers in workforce scheduling that takes account of learning and forgetting characteristics. This paper expands previous researches by considering heterogeneous individual learning/forgetting, and investigates the impact of worker heterogeneity in initial expertise, steady-state productivity, learning and forgetting on system performance to assist manager's decision-making in worker-task assignments without tackling complex MINLP models. In order to understand the performance implications of workforce heterogeneity, this paper examines analytically how heterogeneity in each of the four parameters of the exponential learning and forgetting (L/F) model affects system performance in three cases : consecutive assignments with no break, n breaks of s-length each, and total b break-periods occurred over T periods. The study presents the direction of change in worker performance under different assignment schedules as the variance in initial expertise, steady-state productivity, learning or forgetting increases. Thus, it implies whether having more heterogenous workforce in terms of each of four parameters in the L/F model is desired or not in different schedules from the perspective of system productivity measurement.

H/D substitution makes difference in photochemical studies: the case of dimethylamine

  • When the molecule in the excited state is subject to prompt predissociation, it is quite nontrivial to obtain vibrational structure of the excited state in general. This applies to the case of photochemistry of dimethylamine (DMA:$(CH_3)_2NH$). When DMA is excited to its first electronically excited state ($S_1$), the N-H bond dissociation occurs promptly. Therefore, $S_1$ vibronic bands are homogeneously broadened to give extremely small ionization cross sections and heavily-congested spectral features, making infeasible any reasonable spectral assignment. Here, we demonstrate that the predissociation rate of the excited state could be significantly reduced by the NH/ND substitution to give the much better-resolved $S_1$ spectral feature, revealing the vibrational structure of the excited state of $DMA-d_1$ ($(CH_3)_2ND$) for the first time.

  • Many problems related to airline business belong to large-scale optimization problems, so that it is expected that the state-of-art optimization techniques are widely applied to making the airline operation effective and competitive. This paper introduces the concepts and mathematical models of various optimization problems in airline system. Airlines involve many activities that utilize airline resources such as aircrafts and crews to make profit. We view the airline activities in the planning and operational aspects. In the planning viewpoint, we discuss the flight schedule design problem that impacts on passenger demand directly. For aircraft and crews, we deal with fleet assignment, aircraft routing, crew pairing optimization, and crew assignment problem. In the operational viewpoint, we concern schedule recovery problems for aircrafts and crew using the method of reassigning available resources when airlines face with the unexpected situations.

입출력지연을 이용한 다중입출력계의 디지탈제어에 관한 연구 (Study on Digital Control of MZMO Dynamic Systems Using I/O Delay)

  • The existing methods of pole assignment were reserved in this paper, a digital control method for MIMO dynamic systems was developed based on pole assignment using I/O delay. The underlined concept of the derived control law was that the poles corresponding to the order of a system can be assigned on the desired positions via output delay, and the poles of the order incrememted by output delay were forced to be placed on zero positions by way of input delay when applied to an actual MIMO system, the present scheme was shown to be more effective than the conventional state feedback scheme with observer in that the former was simpler than the latter, while they performed well.

생체계 명사주절을 위한 적제제어 (Adaptive Control for Regulation of Blood Pressure in Physiological System)

  • Pole assignment adaptive controller has been suggested for automatic regulation of blood pressure by means of hypertinsive of hypotensive drugs. The relationship between the drug infusion rate and the blood pressure was described by an ARMA model. This adaptive algorithm does not reguire preliminary tests for the purpose of tuning the parameters, and have the capability to adjust automatically to changes in the curculatory state of subject. Experimental results on rabbits showed that stable control are occurred during operation. On the basis of theoretical considerations and experimental results, we expected that adaptive drug infusion system using pole assignment procedure might be effectively applied to the blood pressure control in clinical application.
