  • The research which sees accomplishes the capital region high-speed railway and examines investigates about process of railroad construction project and an advance service contents from to understand a progress process, change process and technical investigation of basic design and the execution plan at the time of route led and accomplishes the plan which is detailed the process which in the center researched. 서울 지하철 전동차의 최적 감속기어비 (Optimum Reduction Gear Ratio for a Rapid Transit Car in Seoul)

  • An optimim reduction gear ratio problem for a subway rapid transit car in Seoul was solved by using a computer program package, which is a modified and extened version of the simple model by Mischke. The optimum value of reduction gear ratio was evaluated by minimizing the total start-to stop time.The validity of the computer program package was verified by cross-checking the calculated values of gear ratio and dynamic characteristics with the actual and measured values.

  • An approximate target adaptive guidance algorithm(TAG) is proposed on the basis of the assumption that angular acceleration of missile to target line-of-sight and start time for TAG can be obtained by IR seeker. The algorithm does not use any target state estimator. Instead, it avoids the problem of determining target attitude by using the observation that the missile using LOS rate guidance is nearly on the collision course in the later point of engagement. Computer simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively perform target adaptive guidance.

  • In this paper, a motion control algorithm is proposed by using neural network system, which makes a robot arm successfully avoid unexpected obstacle when the robot is moving from the start to the goal position. During the motion, if there is an obstacle the vision system recognizes it. And in every time the optimization-algorithm quickly chooses a motion among the possible motions of robot. The proposed algorithm has a good avoidance characteristic in simulation.

  • LCD (liquid crystal display) industry is needed to goods of high reliability and is interested in products without harmful material. In this experiment, we made the LED backlight unit for Automotive-navigation. And for making this backlight unit we used to eight side emitting type white LEDs with 1W high power of the lumileds company. We could know that this backlight unit releases to 6500 nit in 14W power consumption and start up voltage time is under the15ms in the ambient temperature $-20^{\circ}C$.

Finite Element Analysis of Temperature Distribution and Thermally Caused Deformation in Ventilated Disk Brakes

  • In order to analyze the thermal effects of the rotor models, the finite element technique was used in this study. The length of the hat was investigated as a design parameter. At the start of each brake application the disk surface temperature rapidly increases to a maximum value and then decays due to external cooling and thermal conduction to the hat. The calculated results indicate that the long length of the hat shows the minimum deformation in axial direction, which is related to the thermal problems, coned wear, vibration and noise.

  • Indisputably school is the main institution that socialises migrant children into the culture of their new country. Through school they learn the new language and customs, which will enable them to become cultural brokers between the new cultural world and their families. During this process migrant children often transit a liminal terrain where their roles and identity become at the same time diverse and ambivalent. Despite the challenges involved these children often become experts in juggling different cultures, environments and expectations. This study explores the experiences of Latin American children and their families as they start primary school in Australia.

  • This paper presents the thermal modeling and analysis of Line power Start Permanent magnet Motor (LSPM). Thermal analysis of electrical machines is important because temperatures that are consistently too high will reduce the life time of machines and may lead to serious failure. Coefficients of convection are calculated according to the types of operating conditions. And computational fluid dynamics (CFD) technique is performed in order to predict thermal characteristic. The results are compared to the test results.
