A more efficient use of nutrients from organic sources can benefit both farmers and water quality in agriculture. In this paper we reviewed information related to the regulations and guidelines of a swine liquid fertilizer to propose an establishment scheme for the official standards of swine manure slurry as a liquid fertilizer for organic farming. According to the law of establishment and designation of official standard of fertilizers, the liquid fertilizer made with pig liquid manure belongs to the byproduct fertilizer as of one of organic fertilizer. However, the official standards for byproduct fertilizers including the liquid fertilizer set by the Rural Development Administration (RDA), especially for a liquid swine manure fertilizer, should be revised to meet the goals of laws pursuing the environmentally sound agriculture, especially for organic farming because the terms and relevant standards need additional specific standards alike the standards such as impurities and parameter for declaration in EU. Therefore, it is suggested that official standards for byproduct fertilizers should be revised with respect to nutrient, salt content as of SAR and Na content instead of NaCl. Also we need to develop the maximum limit of heavy metals in soil to which the liquid fertilizer can be applied, as well as application rate depending on EC of the liquid fertilizer.

IEC 60300 series, the international standards on dependability management system are newly developed and introduced rapidly worldwide. In order to meet this situation, it is necessary to apply them to the Korean industries effectively. This requires for us to prepare in advance for the introduction of the certification system of IEC 60300. It includes the establishment of the infrastructure such as documentation of Korean Standards, introduction of test equipments and test manuals, recognition of the certification body and training of specialists etc. This paper addresses the first step for the Introduction of IEC 60300. It includes the necessity of introduction of the system, general requirements and procedures for the certification of the industries, sampling methods design and establishment of the dependability assurance system of the materials.

In order to facilitate technical exchange among nations and/or institutes through the establishment of mutual recognition and the reliability guarantee of testing results by testing standards standardization, the interlaboratory comparison tests on brake discs and linings between KRRI and CARS were conducted. So far, two ways of comparison tests were performed for a better understanding of mutual recognition and standardization in railroad brake linings between Korea and China. In this paper, the first and second comparison testing results have been summarized, and the suggestions for the future research work are also presented to encourage extensive research on comparison study of railroad brake discs and linings between KRRI and CARS. Eventually, the final goal of the current research will be the establishment of standardization of railroad testing standards.

The emergence of the Smart Grid is an integrated solution for the next generation power system that combines IT technology in the power system to create optimal energy utilization and various services. However, these convergence technologies (power systems and information communications) are not only improving the related technologies but also producing various problems especially exposure to cyber risk. In particular, the intelligent power grid has security vulnerabilities through real-time information sharing among various organically linked systems, and it is more complicated than the cyber risk problem in the existing IT field and is directly connected to national disaster accidents. Therefore, in order to construct and operate a more stable smart grid, this paper analyzes the system of power system control system in Korea, and proposes a cyber security element definition and a countermeasure establishment method of power monitoring & control systems based on security standards of smart grid (No. SPS-SGSF-121-1-1).

In this paper, we propose the AI certification standardization activities for systematic research and planning for the standardization of trustworthy artificial intelligence (AI). The activities will be in two-fold. In the stage 1, we investigate the scope and possibility of standardization through AI reliability technology research targeting international standards organizations. And we establish the AI reliability technology standard and AI reliability verification for the feasibility of the AI reliability technology/certification standards. In the stage 2, based on the standard technical specifications established in the previous stage, we establish AI reliability certification program for verification of products, systems and services. Along with the establishment of the AI reliability certification system, a global InterOp (Interoperability test) event, an AI reliability certification international standard meetings and seminars are to be held for the spread of AI reliability certification. Finally, TAIPP (Trustworthy AI Partnership Project) will be established through the participation of relevant standards organizations and industries to overall maintain and develop standards and certification programs to ensure the governance of AI reliability certification standards.

The purpose of this study is to examine the establishment and development of Daesoon Thought Thesaurus. Specifically, this study examined the matters to be considered in the stage of Thesauri planning according to the Thesauri Construction process : presents the methods and standards of Thesauri Construction according to processes such as identification of the indexing policy, establishment of Thesauri system, collection of vocabulary, selection of preferred term, clustering of the terms, establishment of term relationships, overall adjustment, Thesauri test, proofreading by professional display, maintenance and updating. Since religion information is unique or totally different from the information in other areas, it is most important to construct the Thesauri suitable for system after carefully recognizing the concept of religion terms.
