The Pattern Standardization of Ready-made Korean Traditional Costume for Women in Twenties (여자한복의 기성복화를 위한 패턴개발-20대를 중심으로-)

  • The present study aims at developing standardized patterns of ready-made Korean traditional costume for women in twenties and at suggesting classified standards so that consumers can buy high quailty clothes easily without dissatisfaction on unsuitable measurments. It was found from the dressing experiment results that new-concept patterns of Korean jackets onsidering women's bodies were seriously required because jackets fabricated by conventional patterns were not properily fitted to their bodies. During the processes of patten development, dressing experiment, and subsequent pattern adjustment, measurment standards classified by women's bodies were established, and new standardized patterns were developed in accordance with characteristics of women's bodies. These findings suggested that future studies on the pattern modification should be achieved continuously in consideration of ages, tastes, and fashions of modern women consumers.

Female Breast Cancer Mortality Rates in Turkey

  • The main objective of this study was to analyze the mortality trends of female breast cancer in Turkey between the years 1987-2008. The rates per 100,000 age-standardized to the European standard population were assessed and time trends presented using joinpoint regression analysis. Average annual percent change (AAPC), anual percent change (APC) and 95% confidence interval (CI) was calculated. Nearly 23,000 breast cancer deaths occurred in Turkey during the period 1987-2008, with the average annual age-standardized mortality rate (ASR) being 11.9 per 100,000 women. In the last five years, significant increases were observed in all age groups, but there was no significant change over the age of 65. In this period, the biggest significant increase was in the 45-54 age group (AAPC=4.3, 95%CI=2.6 to 6.0).

  • 본 연구에서는 2000년 LANDSAT ETM+ 수도권 영상을 이용하여 도시지역 10개소, 식생지역 10개소를 선정해서 각각에 대해 표준화 주성분 분석을 적용하여 두 지역간의 고유벡터 매트릭스를 비교ㆍ분석해보았다. 도시 지역과 식생 지역각각에 대해 총 6개의 주성분이 생성되었으며 PC-2와 고유벡터 부호가 변한 밴드(band2, band7)를 RGB로 조합하여 수원지역을 대상으로 분류(Classification)한 결과의 정확도를 분광서명 분별 분석(Signature Separability Analysis)통해 얻은 밴드조합(band1, band3, band5) 영상의 분류결과와 비교해 보았다. 수원지역 2000년 IKONOS 영상의 다중분광 밴드(4×4m)와 전정색 밴드(1x1m)를 융합한 영상이 분류 정확도를 판단하는 기준으로 사용되었다. 비교결과 분류 전체 정확도는 각각 87.7%, 77.29% Khat 지수는 0.83, 0.68로 나타나 PC-2, 밴드2, 밴드7을 이용했을 때 분류 정확도를 높일 수 있다는 결과를 얻었다.

  • Nowadays domestic demands for urban EMUs are gradually increased due to traffic jams and environmental problems. Therefore it has been required to make sure of manufacturing quality and to acquire cost effective bogie frames through mass production. One of the major functions of bogie frames is to guarantee the static strength and durability. In this research, the comparison between FE analysis and actual load test results is performed for the bogie frame, which is manufactured by Rotem Company. The results show that the standardized bogie frame meets the strength requirements of domestic regulations.

  • We need to make the standards of maintenance information for urban transit to reduce the cost to maintain the information and to share the information with maintenance workers. It is enable to do systematic maintenance for urban transit by using the information system based on the standardized information. In this paper we propose the major items to standardize and the methods to lay out the standard schemes to enable structured maintenance. We present the 4 items, bill of material, material classification, accident/fault classification, electronic document, to standardize. And we propose how to implement the information system for urban transit based on the standardized information. We describe the implemented information system in two parts; a rolling-stock and an infrastructure part. And also we describe the result of survey to evaluate the system installed at Seoul Metro and Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit.

  • Light rail vehicle is optimized vehicle system for complex urban circumstance. LRT systems have many merits such as improve accuracy, speediness and safety. There are many LRT systems such as monorail, tram, automated guideway transit, linear induction motor propulsion and so on. These systems have operated in Japan and other advanced countries. In Korea, local government has many projects to apply the advanced LRT system. But there are no standardized specification, performance test specification, construction specification for monorail system, linear induction motor propulsion system, tram in Korea up to now. So, we need to establish of standardized to economical construction and safety. The linear induction motor system has been usually applied in Japan subway and ART(Advanced Rapid Transit) of Canada. In Korea, the linear induction motor system has been adopted for Yongin LRT and currently under construction. This paper covers the contents and technical base for main items of rolling stock, performance standard, carbody structure, bogie, electronic unit and brake equipment in order to implement linear induction motor LRT system according to local conditions.

  • Generally, the quality of satellite images is expressed by GSD (Ground Sample Distance), MTF (Modulation Transfer Function) and SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio). However, these factors are technology-oriented and do not explain interpretability of satellite images. We need a standardized index which shows standard of interpretability. In this study, we estimated NIIRS (National Imagery Interpretability Rating Scale) through the GIQE (General Image Quality Equation) which is able to judge image interpretability with the standardized index. Traditionally, NIIRS has been determined manually by specialized image analysts. We used the GIQE in order to reduce inefficiency and high costs cause by manual interpretation and to produce accurate NIIRS. For monitoring image degradation, we estimated GIQE physical parameters from image analysis and carried out time series analysis about the quality of the KOMPSAT-1 images. On all of the tests, we were able to identify the image degradation due to the changing time. This indicates that NIIRS derived from GIQE will be used for image degradation indicator.

Standardization of Recipe for the Preparation of Korean Foods (II) - For the focus on Chigae (Stew) - (한국음식의 조리법 표준화를 위한 연구(II) -찌개류 -)

  • This study was attempted to standardize preparation methods of Korean foods; Chigae (Stew) such as Deonjang chigae (soybean stew) and Kimchi chigae (Kimchi stew). We followed cooking methods by using cookbooks, food service operation recipes, materials distributed by commercial food restaurants from their own experimental kitchens, and home recipes. Before this recipes were standardized, we thoroughly analyzed and modified them. The total yield and portions were determined together with material weights and procedures. And we evaluated food made by standardized recipes for acceptability, by taste panels from Sookmyung Women's University. It concluded that yield volune for doenjang chigae and kimchi chigae after cooking for 10 persons was 3 kg, optimum service temperature was 7$0^{\circ}C$, preparation time was 50 minutes, service volumes by one person was 300 g. This presentantion for the above on food materials and material weights, preparation methods as well as cautions and references are attached in this research paper.

  • This study focuses on presenting the IT program module provided by real - time forecasting and database of the voluntary disclosure quality measure in order to solve the problem of capital cost due to information asymmetry of external investors and corporate executives. This study suggests a model of the algorithm that the quality of real - time voluntary disclosure can be provided to all investors immediately by IT program in order to deliver the meaningful value in the domestic capital market. This is a method of generating and analyzing real-time or non-real-time prediction models by transferring the predicted estimates delivered to the Big Data Log Analysis System through the statistical DB to the statistical forecasting engine.

A Study on the Relationship of Child Abuse to Academic Achievement (아동의 학습능력 저해요인으로서의 학대경험에 관한 연구)

  • Three groups of maltreated Korean children (Grades 1 through 3) drawn from Child Protective Services (CPS) agencies were compared to a control group of nonmaltreated children on academic achievement as measured by standardized tests of reading, spelling, arithmetic, and writing. Findings were that maltreated children performed significantly below their nonmaltreated children on the standardized tests, in particular in arithmetic. In first grade, maltreated children did not perform below nonmaltreated children on writing and reading, but maltreated children gradually declined in academic performance in these skills. The older, grade 3, children showed more serious academic problems than the younger children (Grades 1 and 2) on four academic skills. This suggests that early experience of child abuse have a strong affect on children's academic achievement.
