A Study on Application Method of GT (GT기법의 적용항법에 대한 연구)

  • To develope a domestic machinery industry, international competition through reducing cost by increasing productivity is as important as evolving technology and increasing quality. In this study, we have studied in application of GT technology. GT is a skill that acquires high productivity using part's resemblance for multi part and small size production like mass production. We have classified group, such as design, layout and the others, to be applied systematically. The design group includes retrieval for drawings and study for GT design. The layout group includes GT layout, analysis of production process and study for composition method. And others include scheduling, standardization and standard process.

  • In this paper, we study structural changes and performance gains in condition-based maintenance process redesign when mobile IoT technology is embedded into urban railway rolling stock. We first develop condition-based maintenance To-Be process model in accordance with the IoT deployment scheme. Secondly, we draw upon theoretical framework of redesign process analysis to develop performance evaluation method suitable to predictive maintenance shift from As-Is ordinary maintenance practice. Subsequently, To-Be process performance evaluations are conducted adopting both the quantitative and qualitative method for time, cost, and dependability dimensions. The results ascertain the considerable benefits captured through detection abnormality prior to actual rolling stock failure occurrence, and details of performance improvements and enhancement of standardization level is revealed. The procedures and results presented in this paper offers useful insights in the fields of IoT economic analysis, condition based maintenance, and business process redesign.

  • The thesis examines new innovation of various aspect to overcome lots of problems which come by when we execute simplification of trade procedure and administration fairly. Practical implications regarding the innovation of electronic trade infrastructure are as follows. First, it will propel the standardization of electronic trade section in the technical side and the construction atmosphere of international authentication system must be created. The work process should be redesigned in order to implement export-import procedures that meet the relevant standards. Second, the improvement of system for electronic process is necessary in the law and institutional aspect. In order to eliminate any obstacles to the trade procedure, clearer legal grounds regarding legitimate controls and minimum necessity must be established. Also, laws should be revised to admit mutual recognition among certification organizations, in lieu of international agreement-based mutual recognition between government. Third, the detailed improvement for the integration of the electronic trade infrastructure will be demanded. Additionally, user-centered quality management protocols should be established via connections with the systems already existing in governmental bodies. Fourth, various trade institution should harmonized and interconnected with other partners through mutual cooperation for standardization of operational system. A system which can monitor and remotely diagnose and resolve system errors should be established to provide tailor-made service and improve operational efficiency. At the same time, it is necessary to build a cooperative system to share information and promote comprehensive management for efficient operation.

  • This paper introduces techniques to recommend standardized tags using tag ontology. Tag recommendation consists of TWCIDF and TWCITC; the former technique automatically tags a large quantity of already existing document groups, and the latter recommends tagging for new documents. Tag groups are created through several processes, including preprocessing, standardization using tag ontology, automatic tagging and defining ranks for recommendation. In the preprocessing process, in order to search semantic compound nouns, words are combined to establish basic word groups. In the standardization process, typographical errors and similar words are processed. As a result of experiments conducted on the basis of techniques presented in this paper, it is proved that real-time automatic tagging and tag recommendation is possible while guaranteeing the accuracy of tag recommendation.

  • Glass melting process is influenced by both control and observation factors, where control factors include quantity and mixing ratio of raw material, the amount of fuel and air in-take. Further observation factors include temperature and pressure at each step of process inside glass melting furnace. Ambient Control is an effective means to eliminate complications from excessive variation among raw materials, or external disturbance from wide fluctuation of environment around equipments. Ambient Control uses both control and observation factors mentioned above. This study suggests an effective Proactive Control System that can enable genuine 4M standardization in glass melting furnace by applying Ambient Control.

  • Standardization of disaster safety lexicon is important as the most basic process for successful accident prevention and response. A lack of understanding of disaster safety lexicon leads lack of communication and information sharing, which can be a problem in communicating with appropriate responses in case of a disaster. Currently disaster and safety control agencies produce and manage heterogeneous information and they also develop and use word dictionaries individually. To solve this problem, identifying differences of disaster safety lexicon patterns by the user are essential for standardization. In this paper, we conducted lexicon patterns analysis based on social media and revealed the characteristics according to pattern types. At the result, we proposed the standardization and construction methods of disaster safety word dictionary.

  • Standardization to information attribute of construction material is continuous demanded through the life cycle of a construction project, and the productivity elevation is derived of contribution effect in construction market. This study surveyed the means of acquisition and attribute of information to a staff in purchase, which are effected on the revitalization of information circulation to the construction material Proposed the standardization to information attribute of construction material that is based on improvement and application to the information attribute. And information attribute is classified with construction process through analysis on test list of quality certification. This study also suggested representative attribute of quality information, for the elevation of safety and quality in construction industry. Therefore, logicality of common information is based by analysis of mathematical statistics, systemicity of quality information is applied by MasterFormat(2004)

  • Data quality management is an important issue these days. Improve data quality by providing consistent metadata. This study presents algorithms that facilitate standard word dictionary management for consistent metadata management. Algorithms are presented to automate synonyms management of database metadata through web dictionary crawling. It also improves the accuracy of the data by resolving homonym distinction issues that may arise during the web dictionary crawling process. The algorithm proposed in this study increases the reliability of metadata data quality compared to the existing passive management. It can also reduce the time spent on registering and managing synonym data. Further research on the new data standardization partial automation model will need to be continued, with a detailed understanding of some of the automatable tasks in future data standardization activities.

  • Global logistics including Korea had developed at various fields through the developed IT technology. In addition, in changing into Internet based digital economy times, economic and logistics activities became extending into worldwide over the cross-border. Logistics activity performed by off-line rapidly changed in real environment. But, unfortunately business process modeling about the whole logistics was not happened, even though process modeling had done by transport stages or logistics entities. Therefore, it is difficult to grasp the whole logistics. Additional cost and time was requested due to no association between logistics entities and invisibility. So, this paper has to be process modeling for logistics industry domain. For objective modeling, work area shall be divided and it extracts general work process per each area. And then it defines subprocess of general work process. Cargo tracking in logistics industry domain means to grasp the status and present states at transportation or storage stage. This paper defines business process and data model for electronic processed work area using the UN/CEFACT standard modeling methodology.

  • Electronic devices in railway vehicle perform various functions such as not only braking and propulsion but also monitoring of vehicle condition, on-line diagnosis, and passenger information service, etc. These devices, distributed in vehicle, should be efficiently connected so as to properly perform the functions. IEC (International Electro-Technical Commission) standardized train communication network (TCN) as IEC 61375-1, -2. TCN can reduce the interconnecting work load by reducing the number of wire-line, compared with existing hard-wire connection, and it brings the efficient control by enabling various devices to share the information. But existing TCN can not satisfy the increasing service demands like passenger internet access and CCTV surveillance, etc. In this paper, we investigate ECN (Ethernet Consist Network) and ETN (Ethernet Train Backbone) which are proposed to satisfy these demands and in the process of standardization by IEC TC9 WG43.
