Software quality is classified by quality of process and product. In experience of Quality Management, it is known that quality level of product as it depends on goodness and badness of process and organization. As a result, improvement of software process has been important subject. According as this trends, ISO 12207 is publicated as standard of software life cycle process by ISO. For UML based object oriented development process, it is necessary that we should research detailed definition of activity and task of ISO 12207 process which is added, deleted or tailored in according to organization and project characteristics. In this thesis, by according with ISO 12207 software life cycle process, UML based object oriented development process is proposed. This process is composed of 7 steps and 19 activities including development phase, activity and product to improve quality of reliability. Usefulness of object oriented process for improvement of software quality is proved at three ways, which are comparative analysis of process characteristics, SPICE process evaluation and SPICE rick analysis.

The concept of "ubiquitous" has become the top issue of the 21st century communications field within the past years. u-City has become the new city paradigm with the convergence of city planning and ubiquitous communication technologies and services. Starting from 2004, KT has collaborated with the Korean government to develop comfortable, convenient, pleasant, safe, and healthy IT technology based u-City focusing on; balanced development, value creation, and improved standard of living within the region. Presently the term, "hazard mitigation services" lacks a clear definition due to its varying applications by different local agencies and has caused confusion. Therefore, this report will clarify and define u-City hazard mitigation services currently proposed to the local agencies as well as services currently in effect. Additionally, the report will introduce hazard mitigation service models feasible by KT.

MPEG-4 SNHC FBA(face and body animation) group is going to standardize the MPEG-4 system for low-bit rate communication with the implementation and animation of human body and face on virtual environment. In the first version of MPEG-4 standard, only the face object will be implemented and animated by using FDP (face definition parameter) and FAP(facial animation parameter), which are the abstract parameters of human face for low-bit rate coding. In this paper, MPEG-4 SNHC face object and it's animation were implemented based on the computer graphics tools such as VRML and OpenGL.

오늘날 비즈니스의 글로벌화, 사업장의 분산화는 필연적으로 영상회의의 활성화를 가져왔으나, 기 구축된 SD(Standard Definition)급 화질의 영상회의는 실감성 및 장시간 사용시 피로감 등에 따른 이용율 저조로 기대 만큼의 성화를 이루지 못하였다. 또한 기존 영상회의 시스템에서의 dec는 보조적 채널, 시스템 조작과 운영의 복잡성, 낮은 해상도로 인한 표정 및 눈짓 등의 요소 포착이 어려운 한계를 극복하지 못하였고, 기업들은 기업 내부 및 국내외 타기업들과의 협업을 위해 막대한 비용과 시간이 요구되고 있는 실정이다. KT는 기존 영상회의 문제 극복을 위해 서울<->대전 연구소간 전용선 연결, 비용 및 여러 site 확장을 위한 VPN으로의 전환 방안등 최상의 영상회의 구축을 위한 검토를 통해 Full HD실감 화질의 영상회의를 구축하였으며, 향후에는 Full HD 데이터 압축 기술 향상 및 데이터 전송 방안에 대한 더 많은 연구가 필요하다고 판단된다. 본 고에서는 KT에서 구축한 영상회의 사례를 중심으로 기본적인 기술과 구조, 국내외 시장의 현황 및 활용 방안에 대해 논하였다.

본 논문에서는 무선 랜 기반의 유무선 통합서비스 사업을 위해 동영상 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 포함한 멀티미디어 메시징 서비스를 제공하기 위해 자바와 자바 3차원 기반의 MPEG-4 표준 규약에 충실한 MPEG-4 시스템 구현에 관한 것이며, 이를 위해 MPEG-4 시스템 구현에 필요한 기술, 유무선 통합 멀티미디어 서비스의 정의, DMIF 구현 및 mp4 파일 파싱 등의 구체적인 MPEG-4 시스템 구현 방법 등을 기술한다.

고화질 프로젝션 TV에서 광학부품들이 가격 및 성능면에서 경쟁력을 갖춘 최적의 시스템을 설정하고, 그로부터 현재 방송규격인 NTSC 및 향후에 시행될 디지털 TV에 공용적용할 투사렌즈를 설계 개발 하였다. 플라스틱 렌즈 2매와 구면 glass 렌즈 1매로 구성된 투사렌즈에 대해, 3차 수차가 모두 보정된 초기설계치로부터, 플라스틱 렌즈의 비구면화, 공차를 고려한 최적화 설계, 그리고 온도보상등의 과정을 통해 설계 하였다. 최종적으로 개발된 렌즈의 구현가능한 화면크기는 40∼50인치, 해상도는 800TV-line 이상 이다.

Nanoparticle exposure assessment presents a unique challenge in the field of occupational and environmental health. With the commercialization of nanotechnology, exposure usually starts from the workplace and then spreads to environment and consumer exposure. This report discusses the current trends of nanoparticle exposure assessment, including the definition of nanotechnology relevant terms, essential physicochemical properties for nanomaterial characterization, current international activities related nanomaterial safety, and exposure assessment standard development for nanotechnology. Further this report describes challenges of nanoparticle exposure assessment such as background measurement, metrics of nanoparticle exposure assessment and personal sampling.

A standard deviation has been a starting point for a mathematical definition of risk. As a remedy for drawbacks such as subadditivity property discouraging the diversification, coherent and convex risk measures are introduced in an axiomatic approach. Choquet expectation and g-expectations, which generalize mathematical expectations, are widely used in hedging and pricing contingent claims in incomplete markets. The each risk measure or expectation give rise to its own pricing rules. In this paper we investigate relationships among dynamic risk measures, Choquet expectation and dynamic g-expectations in the framework of the continuous-time asset pricing.

한국전자책문서표준 EBKS(Electronic Book of Korea Standard) 1.0은 국내 전자책산업의 활성화를 목적으로 제정된 산업표준으로서 한국전자출편헙회의 지원아래 지난 2001년 7월 제정된 바 있다. 표준 제정이후, 전자책 업계에서는 EBKS 사용시 나타나는 문제점 및 여러 가지 개선사항을 요구하였다. 또한 빠르게 발전하는 멀티미디어 산업의 특성상 변화된 정보를 표준에서 수용해야할 필요성이 대두되었다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 EBKS 1.0 DTD의 문제점을 해결하고 새로운 요소 정의 및 구조를 재정의 하였다. 이를 통하여 표준 전자책 작성시 보다 명확한 구조와 의미정보, 그리고 추가된 멀티미디어 요소를 표현할 수 있도록 하였다.

It is very important to operate a power system safely. An fault may causes the cascading outages in power system. Use of systematic, precise definitions related to the outages is essential for meaningful exchange of data. Moreover, it is necessary that specific instructions for reporting outages is developed. This paper presents the outage management for a power system. The outage managements of the many utilities are researched, which include the definition, classification, index and report of outage. Finally, the outage management standard is proposed, and the necessity and structure of KERC(Korean Electric Reliability Council) are presented
