A study on the measurement of vibration using Laser Doppler Interferometer (레이저 도플러 간섭계를 이용한 진동 측정에 관한연구)

  • Laser Doppler Vibrometer using heterodyne method with a 632.8 nm He-Ne laser, has been developed for the measurement of small displacement and velocity. The measurement uses heterodyne method can be made insensitive to undesired vibration effect acting the system and can yield the sign of Doppler shift at the expense of increased complexity. A Bragg cell gives a frequency shift of 40MHz for heterodyne method. Frequency Modulated output is detected by spectrum analyzer.

  • The frequency response characteristics of a bimorph type PZT piezoelectric transducer was investigated. In this study, function generator which generates short burst signal, plane reflection plate and oscilloscope were used to measure the characteristics of piezoceramic ultrasonic transducer. The resonant frequency of a bimorph type piezoceramic transducer which is acquired by using Tone-Burst Method had good agreement with the measured results from spectrum analyzer.

  • 음속 기울기가 부(-)의 약한 상태와 강한상태에 있는 천해의 두 해역에서 단일주파수의 지향성 음원과 광대역 충격음원 두 종류에 의하여 측정을 하였다. 음파가 처음 해저에 부딪치는 가까운 거리에 서의 Reverberation 은 ray tracing 에 의하여 입사각에 따라 power spectrum analyzer에 의하여 분석 되었으며 원거리의 경우 이론 모델로 계산된 값과 비교되었다. 이 때의 산란은 지향성에 산란상수 -24dB였다. 또한 산란강도는 주파수의 증가에 따라 완만한 증가를 나타내었다.

  • Objective quality measurement schemes that in- corporate properties of the human auditory system. The basilar membrane(BM) acts as a spectrum analyzer, spatially decomposing the signal into frequency components. Each filterbank is an implementation of the ERB, gam-machirp function. This filterbank is level-dependent asymmetric compensation filters. And for the validation of the auditory model, we calculate the CPD. Quality measurement is obtained from the result.

  • 본 논문에서는 콘벌루션 부호를 사용한 대역확산 방식의 디지틀 통신모뎀을 FPGA를 이용하여 설계 및 검증을 하였다. 대역확산 방식에서의 콘벌루tus부호기(K=3, R=1/2), PN code(128chip) generator와 비터비 디코더를 Xilinx사의 FPGA 디자인 툴인 Xilinx Foundations3.1을 사용하여 VHDL simulation과 timing simulation을 수행하였고, FPGA 회로설계 검증 장비인 EDA-Lab 3000 장비를 사용하여 Xilinx사의 SPARTAN2 2S100PQ208칩에 configuration 한 후 Agilent사의 1681A logic analyzer를 사용하여 설계된 회로의 동작을 검증하였다.

A study on the Conducted Noise Reduction in Random PWM (Random PWM 기법을 이용한 전도노이즈 저감)

  • The switching-mode power converter has been widely used because of its features of high efficiency and small weight and size. These features are brought by the ON-OFF operation of semiconductor switching devices. However, this switching operation causes the surge and EMI(Electromagnetic Interference) which deteriorate the reliability of the converter themselves and entire electronic systems. This problem on the surge and noise is one of the most serious difficulties in AC-to-DC converter. Random Pulse Width Modulation (RPWM) is peformed by adding a random perturbation to switching instant while output-voltage regulation of converter is performed. RPWM method for reducing conducted EMI in single switch three phase discontinuous conduction mode boost converter is presented. The more white noise is injected, the more conducted EMI is reduced. But output-voltage is not sufficiently regulated. This is the reason why carrier frequency selection topology is proposed. In the case of carrier frequency selection, output-voltage of steady state and transient state is fully regulated. A RPWM control method was proposed in order to smooth the switching noise spectrum and reduce it's level. Experimental results are verified by converter operating at 300v/1kW with $5%{\sim}30%$ white noise input. Spectrum analysis is performed on the Phase current and the CM noise voltage. The former is measured with Current Probe and the latter is achieved with LISN, which are connected to the spectrum analyzer respectively.

  • In order to analyze the reason of wall blackening, which affect the decline of lifetime in a ceramic metal halide lamp, we carried out the deterioration of ceramic tubes by a change in operating conditions with arc tubes of two types of spherical and cylindrical, and we have confirmed the cause of wall blackening through the analysis of element composition and spectrum from SEM/EDS and spectrum analyzer. Wall blackening of tungsten was shown by sputtering from ignition in 20 minute on/off condition and wall blackening from chemical reaction between PCA wall and rare earth halides was shown significantly in a condition without on/off test. Especially, the wall blackening and the decline of luminous flux were reduced by inner convection in spherical type arc tube. Moreover, the color temperature and color coordinate were changed by reduction of emission spectrum of Dy which causes the chemical reaction with PCA wall.

An Enhancement of Multi-Dof Frequency Response Spectrum From Impact Hammer Testing (충격햄머 실험에서 다자유도 주파수 응답스팩트럼의 개선)

  • The spectrum of impulse response signal from an impulse hammer testing is widely used to obtain frequency response function(FRF) of the structure. However the FRFs obtained from impact hammer testing have not only leakage errors but also finite record length errors when the record length for the signal processing is not sufficiently long. The errors cannot be removed with the conventional signal analyzer which treats the signals as if they are always steady and periodic. Since the response signals generated by the impact hammer are transient and have damping, they are undoubtedly non-periodic. It is inevitable that the signals be acquired for limited recording time, which causes the finite record length error and the leakage error. In this paper, the errors in the frequency response function of multi degree of freedom system are formulated theoretically. And the method to remove these errors is also suggested. This method is based on the optimization technique. A numerical example of 3-dof model shows the validity of the proposed method.

The Frequency Characteristics of Radiated Electromagnetic Waves in accordance with AC Discharge Progress in Liquid Nitrogen (액체질소중 교류방전 진전에 따른 방사전자파 주파수 특성)

  • In this study, a relationship between AC discharge progress and the radiated electromagnetic waves were investigated by measuring electromagnetic waves using a biconical antenna and a spectrum analyzer. The characteristics of frequency spectrum of the radiated electromagnetic waves was measured at the atmospheric pressure in liquid nitrogen($LN_2$) during partial discharges progress in nonuniform electric field depend on AC power supply. From this results, it was confirmed that when partial discharge was produced in liquid nitrogen, the signal of partial discharge was detected by frequency spectrum of the radiated electromagnetic waves. It is considered that these results obtained from this investigation may be used as fundamental data for diagnosis and prediction of insulation on superconducting and cryogenic power equipments.
