The purpose of this study was to develop smart bags that combining fashion-specific trends and smart information technologies such as light-emitting diodes(LED) and optic fibers by grafting marquage techniques that have recently become popular as part of eco-fashion. We applied e-textiles by designing leather tote bags that could show off LED luminescence. A total of two tote bags, a white-colored peacock design and a black-colored paisley design, divided the LED's light-emitting method into two types, incremental lighting and random light-emission to suit each design, and the locations of the optical fibers were also reversed depending upon the design. The production of circuits for the LEDs and optical fibers was based on the design, and a flexible conductive fabric was laser-cut instead of wire line and attached to the circuit-line location. A separate connector was underwent three-dimensional(3D)-modeling and was connected to high-luminosity LEDs and optic fiber bundles. The optical fiber logo part expressed a subtle image using a white-colored LED, which did not offset the LED's sharp luminous effects, suggesting that using LEDs with fiber optics allowed for the expression of each in harmony without being heterogeneous. Overall, the LEDs and fiber optic fabric were well-harmonized in the fashion bag using marquage techniques, and there was no sense of it being a mechanical device. Also, the circuit part was made of conductive fabric, which is an e-textile product that feels the same as a thin, flexible fabric. The study confirmed that the bag was developed as a smart wearable product that could be used in everyday life.

In this paper, we propose a system that accurately and efficiently determines forward head posture based on network learning by analyzing the user's skeletal posture. Forward head posture syndrome is a condition in which the forward head posture is changed by keeping the neck in a bent forward position for a long time, causing pain in the back, shoulders, and lower back, and it is known that daily posture habits are more effective than surgery or drug treatment. Existing methods use convolutional neural networks using webcams, and these approaches are affected by the brightness, lighting, skin color, etc. of the image, so there is a problem that they are only performed for a specific person. To alleviate this problem, this paper extracts the skeleton from the image and learns the data corresponding to the side rather than the frontal view to find the forward head posture more efficiently and accurately than the previous method. The results show that the accuracy is improved in various experimental scenes compared to the previous method.
An aerial refueling provides for extension of operational time and range for aircraft and enhances mission effectiveness, hence it application by most military aircrafts. The receiver aircraft should have the aerial refueling clearance that is established by performing technical and operational compatibility assessments to certify it for aerial refueling with a specific tanker model. The compatibility assessment includes aerial refueling handling qualities, functional, fuel, lighting system testing and it is finally verified through flight testing. However, since aerial refueling compatibility assessments have never been performed in Korea, there is no experience to determine the test requirements and the scope and size of the test program for a new development aircraft. This paper therefore introduces the common techniques of aerial refueling and aerial refueling flight test methods to understand the aerial refueling FCS (Flight Control System), OFP (operational flight program) and system validation, and aerial refueling envelope clearance of a fixed wing aircraft for a boom and receptacle refueling system that is being introduced into Korea Air Force.

In comics, panels serve a variety of dramatic purposes, including controlling the flow of the story through the size, placement, and order of panels; directing the eye to where characters or specific actions take place; expressing the passage or sequence of time; and using backgrounds, lighting, and color to emphasize emotion and convey mood. When applied to VR animation, these comic panels can give users a more immersive experience of the cartoon world in the VR space. In the VR animation "Mescaformhill: Missing Five," produced in 2022, the comic panels directing is very important to guide the viewer's attention, and in the VR space, the camera angle can be freely changed to realize various visual effects, and the physical interaction brings the comic panels directing to life. This can open up new ways of storytelling in VR animation and contribute to its successful expansion into new mediums.

This study was conducted to investigate the growth characteristics of cucumber scion and pumpkin rootstock under different levels of light intensity (photosynthetic photon flux, PPF) and plug cell size in a closed transplant production system with artificial lighting. Cucumber scion and pumpkin rootstock seedlings were grown under the combinations of three levels of PPF (PPF 165, 248, and $313{\mu}mol{\cdot}m^{-2}{\cdot}s^{-1}$) and five types of plug tray (50, 72, 105, 128, and 200 cells in the tray) for nine days. The shoot dry weight and relative growth rate increased with increasing PPF and plug cell size. As PPF increased, cucumber scion and pumpkin rootstock seedlings had higher dry matter, lower specific leaf area, and lower hypocotyl length. The first true leaf of cucumber scion and pumpkin rootstock unfolded at eight and seven days after sowing, respectively, except the treatment using 200-cell plug tray. The unfolding of first true leaf of seedlings grown in 200-cell plug tray was delayed by one day. Accordingly, it was considered that the use of small cell size such as 200-cell plug tray would require more time for the production of scion and rootstock. Based on the results, we suggest that cucumber scion and pumpkin rootstock be grown in 105-cell to 128-cell plug tray for eight days and 72-cell to 105-cell plug tray for seven days, respectively, when using splice grafting method with root-removed rootstock. Additionally, higher PPF is suggested to improve the growth and quality of scion and rootstock.

In the case of failure images with controlling lighting like backlighting and excessive frontlinghting, the compensation scheme for a specific area in an image is required. The interested region is first selected by user in our method to compensate the first frame. Then we define the matching function of brightness and energy function is proposed with weight of matching function and the relationship among the neighbors. Finally, the energy is minimized by the graph-cut algorithm to compensate the brightness of the first frame. Other frames are straightforwardly compensated using the results of the first frame. The brightness variations of the previous frame is transmitted to the next frame via motion vectors. The reliability of the brightness variation is calculated based on the motion vector reliability. Video compensation result is achieved by the process of the image case. Simulation show that the proposed algorithm provides more natural results than the conventional algorithms.
The research was started out of curiosity for what made 's fast and trilling pace possible although it is an old movie. The center of what made it possible was its use of the Long Take - Long Take was used in all of the scenes and in some cases only long take was used. What is interesting is the film maker's use of various cinematic techniques to prevent the scene from being too slow and keep the audience immersed in the characters. In one shot, acting in addition to Mise-en-Sc$\grave{e}$ne were used to provide psychological immersion of character and scene. The use of Long Take, with the exception of some intentional scenes, was difficult to notice without conscience observation. All the components that make up Long Take. camera walking and lighting as well as actor's dialog and performance and scene movement all beautifully came together. The Long Take is generally replaced by many different sort shots. However, Mike Nichols clearly demonstrates the benefit of Long Take. In the movie, the general aesthetics from the use of Long Take is slightly altered for a different purpose. The specific methods and effects used in the application of Long Take is the subject of this study.

One argument of this study is that the policy to handle and landscape of cultural and historical property had to do with people's visual preferences. This study seeks to investigate people's visual preferences toward the landscape of cultural /historical property, specifically dealing with 'Namdaemun', which is the first class cultural property of Korea. People's visual preference was specifically examined into the four specific concepts : 'visual identity','harmony','beauty of the target property', and 'overall beauty'. Two objective variables, such as, 'distance' between the viewer and the cultural property, and 'height' of background buildings were considered possible predictors of the four visual preference variables. Photos of 'Namdaemun' were taken at three different directions and at three different distances. The photographed images of 'Namdaemun' were transferred ito the digitalized graphic images, where the height of background buildings was artificially changed and simulated. The simulated visual images were taken into the slides again. A total of 59 students of the Department of Landscape architecture at Seoul City University were sampled as subjects. A series of 17 slides were shown to the subjects four times. The subjects were asked to check their preference ratings concerning the four concepts on a 7-point Likert scale. The results found in this study were as follows : 1) In the results of ANOVA, it was clear that people visually preferred the view where the height of background buildings were lower than 15 floors to the view of more than 15 floors . 2) From the results of the path analysis, it was found that 'harmony','visual identity' and 'beauty of the target property' were direct predictors of 'the overall beauty'. The 'height ' of background buildings and the viewer's 'distance' were not found to be direct predictors, however, they demonstrated their effects on 'the overall beauty' through the other variable, which were direct predictors of 'the overall beauty'. In sum, the longer the distance and the higher the background buildings, the lower people's preference with the 'overall beauty'. These indirect paths, in turn, also explain why and how the 'height' of background buildings and the viewer's 'distance' negatively influence the 'overall beauty'. An implication from the these results is that when the height of background buildings were not controllable, there would be some other strategies for improving people's visual preference toward the historical /cultural view. To increase 'visual identity' of the cultural property, for example, changing colors of the cultural property or increasing the lighting level, etc., would be one strategy, since the increased 'visual identity' will, in turn, increase 'the overall beauty'.
This research estimates the impact of population aging on energy use and carbon emissions by energy sources and by industrial sectors in Korea until 2035. For the estimation, the structural change in household consumption expenditure identified by the age-specific consumption pattern was analyzed in conjunction with energy and environment input-output tables. The estimation result presents that, despite the population aging, energy use and carbon emissions induced by household consumption continue to increase until 2026, and then that elevated levels of energy use and carbon emissions will be maintained for a considerable period of time. According to the estimation by energy sources, the use of natural gas will show substantial increase while the use of crude oil will switch to a downturn at a relatively early period. According to the estimation by industrial sectors, carbon emissions in the sectors with relatively high consumption share of old households such as medical health, dwelling, lighting, heating, air-conditioning, and food will have substantial increase, whereas those in the sectors associated with education, transport, catering, and accommodation services will turn downward relatively early. In addition, the study analyzes through policy simulation the impact of aging-related policy similar to the basic pension system, which is recently being discussed for legislation, on energy use and carbon emissions.
This paper is aimed to study the late Neolithic Age in North Korea in order to closely examine a transition process into the Bronze Age in the Korean peninsula. Thus, the pottery with lightning design was selected as target data. Since the pottery with lightning design is fundamental data that North Korea's archeologists have used for chronological recordings of the late Neolithic Age in the northwest region, the parallel relationship between the eastern and the western region was established with comparison of pottery with lightning design in the northeastern region. The examination focuses on data that cover the target region of the pottery with lightning design of the adjacent Southern Primorskii region including the counterpart of the northwestern and the northeastern region. As a result, some attribute analyses revealed that the pottery with lightning design was affected by the counterpart of the northwestern region near the Yalu River. Prior to genealogical and chronological recordings of the pottery with lightning design in the northeastern region, the pottery with lightning design in the northwestern region was recorded chronologically in order to examine its specific development process. Consequently, in the second period of the Neolithic Age, the pottery with lightning design in the northwestern region was assumed to have an impact on the counterpart in the northeastern region. The classification of the pottery with lightning design in the northeastern region shall be based on 4-period development. According to this classification, the pottery, which was found in the Tumen river basin, was thought to belong to the first period. The pottery went through genealogy differentiation in the second period and when entering into the third period, the pottery spread to inland of south Primorskii. The pottery was assumed to exist in the southern Primorskii region until the tip end (the fourth period) of the Neolithic Age. It is assumed that considering the fact that climate change led to the agriculture movement, Zaisanovka culture, i.e. the late Ne Neolithic Age, moved to the southern Primorskii region along the Tumen River basin.
