Most plants of commercial poinsettia cultivars grown from cuttings develop mosaic and chlorotic dot symptoms on leaves. Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test showed that they were infected with Poinsettia mosaic virus (PnMV). In a survey of commercially grown poinsettias conducted in Korea, PnMV was detected in ten of ten poinsettia cultivars sampled and in 100％ of 178 samples tested. The virus has isometric particles and about 29 nm in diameter. Crystalline virus particles were observed in cytoplasm of cells of diseased plants by transmission electron microscopy. Nucleotide sequence of coat protein gene of PnMV- Kl showed 97.3％ homology with that of a German isolate. This is the first report on PnMV in Korea.

This study particularly looked at educational philosophy and content of Design Academy Eindhoven in Holland which provides multidisciplinary design education. For it might be important data for examining the educational substance and directivity in design that help construct education system in design for a new era among the varying design paradigm. The biggest feature of DAE education system designed for students to optimize their ability with systematic education of 8 contexts with 4 approaches through innovative specialty system. Besides, their interaction helps students major in what is individual specialty. Most of all, the study on the contents of DAE's multidisciplinary education is expected to be significant data for our design education that lacks integrative perspective in the respect that students might be able to develop their identity as an individual designer in changing society beyond the mere technical and formative level of design.

Purpose: This study was designed to explore the perceptions of quality nursing care among nurses. Method: The data were analyzed using content analysis. The data were collected from 19 nurses who worked at diverse clinical areas in 8 general and university hospitals with over 400 beds. Result: 1. The attributes of quality nursing care were categorized into 7 hierarchies in the order of 'caring' (40.65%), 'specialty' (29.03%), 'nurse attainments' (15.48%), 'patient- centered nursing management' (6.45%), 'sincerity' (5.16%), 'kindness' (2.58%), 'satisfaction' (0.65%). 2. The concept of quality nursing care were defined as 'giving a satisfaction both to patients and nurses through patient-centered nursing management with specialty and caring in the ground of the kindness and sincerity'. Conclusion: Based on there findings, we suggest that the study results should be used for development of a quality assurance tool in nursing practice, patient care in hospital setting, education of nurses and nursing students. In addition, further repeated studies need to be conducted.

This study examined the relationships of store preference with perceived store attributes and consumers' individual characteristics and the impacts of shopping situations on actual store choice. Data were obtained from an on-site questionnaire survey to a convenience sample of young consumers. A total of 456 responses was analyzed. Based on store preference and store choice, respondents were divided into four preference(or choice) groups of: Independent fashion specialty store; Independent general fashion store; Department store and Brand-franchised store. MANOVA, ANOVA and $\chi$$^2$ analyses revealed that there were significant differences among 4 store preference groups on 3 store attribute factors(price, promotion, and merchandise & displays), fashion involvement, perceived financial risk and 5 demographic characteristics(age, gender, marital status, education and spending). Also, there were significant differences among 4 store choice groups on 3 shopping situations the respondents had experienced. Based on the results, the study provided a profile of each store preference group and marketing implications.

It is expected that transportation sector will develope to a systematic and multi-disciplinary way in which transportation, information and electronic technologies are harmonized. This will be the way that the 21st century demand. To be prepared for such development, sharing of information from different sources through a integrated approach is essential. Also an active role of specialized staff are required to achieve a integrated control and management. The specialized staff should do his best for his task with appropriate specialty, a sense of responsibility, a progressive mind and a vision. He also make much effort to enhance and keep up-to-date his specialty. Then we can modestly look forward to a specialized Information society in the 21s1 century.

The curtain wall construction applied on high-rise building facades in Korea became generalized, but specialty of the CMr(Construction Manager) who needs to perform economical project management with specialty in the curtain wall construction is still lacking. Therefore, this study analyzed the structure design standard of the curtain wall, researched economical design alternatives. Based on the research results, if the ratio of dead load against wind load is less than 0.1256, LRFD will be more economical.

Mono- and oligosaccharides are derivatized with p-aminobenzoic ethyl ester (ABEE), strongly absorbs UV light at 254 nm, in the presence of sodium cyanoborohydride. C18-bonded silica column is used for the separation of sugar-ABEE derivatives in an isocratic mode. RP-HPLC conditions are optimized by using ternary mixture as mobile phase and $45^{\circ}C$ as a column temperature. Sugar-ABEE derivatives are separated well within a short run time (ca. 25 min) by reverse-phase partition chromatographic mode. The ($1{\rightarrow}6$) linkage type of dihexose-ABEE derivatives has shorter retention time than ($1{\rightarrow}4$)-linkage type. After acid hydrolysis of glycoproteins with 2M trifluoroacetic acid, monosaccharide composition and contents are determined. This procedure is very useful for the simultaneous analysis of neutral and amino sugars in a single chromatographic step using RP-HPLC without reacetylation of deacetylated amino sugars, which are produced by acid hydrolysis.
