The purpose of this study is to select a specialized topic that meets the needs of the local contents and the local people, based on this, the study develops practical guidelines for operating specialized libraries. For this purpose, forty-three libraries in domestic and foreign were selected to derive their implications by surveying the specialized libraries building process, regional characteristics, specialized books, budget, personnel, network, facilities, environment, programs, and publicity. Based on the suggestions reached, we proposed four stages of operation guidelines: the preparation stage for establishing a system to support specialized services and selecting regional specific topics, the stage for the establishment of the library environment in order to serve the selected specialized subjects, the operational stage of planning and providing information complex cultural services related to specialized subjects, and the diffusion stage that communicates with external institutions of the library for upgrading and expanding services.
This research was performed to investigate the determination factors of medical service to cover the fee for selecting a doctor which is one of the most important causes of debilitating national health insurance in Korea. Data was from Korea Health Panel and analyzed by Dutton(1986)'s medical service model which was an extended Anderson Model and was widely used in the researches on determination factors of medical service. The results were as follows; In the determinants of selecting a doctor in specialized medical institutions and general hospitals, patients with serious diseases selected doctors more often than other patients. By industrial accident compensation insurance law and enforcement ordinances, insurance covers the fee of selecting a doctor in the hospitals appointed by Labor Welfare Corporation for the patients in critical conditions under industrial accident compensation insurance, while health insurance patients pay the fee themselves for selecting a doctor in all cases. It is suggested that patients with serious diseases proved by medical opinion be provided with health care insurance in selecting a doctor and that the health insurance benefit coverage be enhanced by staged lowering of patient's cost-sharing.

The IPA analysis was conducted to identify the priority of each policy sector. Respondents recognized above normal importance to policy divisions, but were relatively aware of the importance of improving accessibility, with overall satisfaction level appearing to be moderate. This study aims to derive suggestions to help develop Hanbok education in the future by examining its current status in domestic educational institutions in light of rising social demand for Hanbok in the era of fashion Hanbok. We assessed the Hanbok curriculum in educational institutions nationwide, including universities and specialized institutes, and conducted in-depth interviews to understand the operational status of Hanbok-specialized education. We found that the demand for education on production functions is decreasing, while the demand for in-depth education on the history of Korean costume and education integrating Hanbok with design and marketing is increasing. We also found that, in the case of universities, which play an important role in Hanbok research and education, professional research and training are shrinking in graduate schools, whereas Hanbok subjects are being maintained and new subjects are being taught in undergraduate courses. In the fashion Hanbok era, it has been suggested that Hanbok education needs to converge with design and marketing education, beyond teaching only Hanbok. In addition, the necessity of expanding liberal arts education within universities to meet social demand was proposed, and online education was expected to help spread knowledge.

In the satisfaction of mothers on cooking programs for children according to the types of educational institutions, the satisfaction of mothers who attended a cooking program of a specialized culinary academy was higher than that of mothers who attended a cooking program of a cultural center. Mothers are satisfied especially with the teaching contents, cooking class and teaching ability of teachers.

As Gangwon-do Province needs an environmental-friendly alternative tourism according to low carbon green growth, this study analyzes specialized fields in green health industry, selects seven specialized fields in green health industry that is fit to Gangwon-do Province, and suggests a development strategy by conducting recognition surveys on preference and impotence of the specialized fields. Surveys and interviews are conducted of 106 students at Green Health Industry Education Center which is operating by Kwandong University and 84 persons who work at medical institutions and tourism related companies in Ganwondo. The surveys and interviews were completed from November 5 to November 19 in 2010, determined factors through a factor analysis when they have many questions, and analyzed by using SPSS 14.0. Out of the seven specialized fields, rest & recuperation field is highly recognized. In order to have competitive edge compared to other self-governing provinces, Ganwon-do Province should prioritize rest and recuperation field. A healthcare program in the green health industry specific to Ganwon-do Province includes hot springs and spa programs as a priority. Gangwon-do's hot springs are deemed to be competitive resources as global medical tourists prefer spa and sauna healthcare programs, while the province promotes its spring resources and builds medical tourism infrastructures. Gangwon-do Province can promote a medical tourism industry that is well suitable for the strength and characteristics of the province. It might pursue oriental medicine therapy tourism, which is related to a recuperating medical service that uses both oriental and western medicine. It can also run such programs as forest bathing (oxygen road), spring and spa, and sea water treatment, which are the specialized fields in green health industry with respect to recreation and healthcare.

In the past, in Korea, women often played the role of caring for their children, and women's participation in social activities was small. However, in recent years, more and more cases are entrusted to specialized institutions and teachers for infant education. These changes are positive in terms of gender equality and the enhancement of women's rights, but the burden on specialized institutions and teachers for infants and young children is increasing. The problems of abuse in early childhood education institutions that have recently appeared in Korea are emerging as a new social problem. This study attempted to understand which factors should be managed in order to be respected for the rights of children, and categorized the educational environment into psychological, work, and social factors to examine their influence and provide meaningful implications.

In this study, development directions for smooth introduction of transferring non-specialized libraries to specialized libraries are suggested based on the analysis conducted on non-specialized library librarians and users to investigate and analyze the comparative requirements for specializing libraries, specialization topics, demand for spaces and programs for specialization and view of important factors of each area when operating specialized libraries in future. As a result, first, when introducing a specialized library, it is necessary to derive a specialized topic that can identify and provide the characteristics of the region and the status of existing library. And a demand analysis. Based on this, the subject should be selected through the demand survey of the local residents. Second, from the stand point of targeted subjects of specialized service, it is necessary to provide tailored services by understanding the service range for each age group based on local population distribution and library user analysis. Third, experience-type, lecture-type and view-type can be suggested for specialized programs, considering the characteristics of the specialized subject field. It is ideal to operate combination of the three based on the subject filed details. Also, the characteristics of the subject and the types of program should be considered for specialized spaces. Finally, in order to systematically operate and promote specialized libraries, allocating dedicated personnel, linking with other institutions and strategies of promotion and marketing should be considered.
