  • The problem of unsolicited e-mail has been increasing for years, so many researchers has studied about spam filtering and prevention. In this article, we proposed a faster spam prevention algorithm based on userID instead of full email address. But there are 2% of false-negatives by userID. In this case, we store those domains in a DB and filter them out. The proposed algorithm requires small DB and 3.7 times faster than the e-mail address comparison algorithm. We implemented this algorithm using SPRSW(Spam Prevention using Replay Secrete Words) to register userID automatically in userID DB.

  • Testing and validation processes are critical tasks in developing a new hardware platform based on a new technology. This paper describes a series of experiments to evaluate the performance of a newly developed MEMS-based wireless sensor node as part of a wireless sensor network (WSN). The sensor node consists of a sensor board with four accelerometers, a thermometer and filtering and digitization units, and a MICAz mote for control, local computation and communication. The experiments include calibration and linearity tests for all sensor channels on the sensor boards, dynamic range tests to evaluate their performance when subjected to varying excitation, noise characteristic tests to quantify the noise floor of the sensor board, and temperature tests to study the behavior of the sensors under changing temperature profiles. The paper also describes a large-scale deployment of the WSN on a long-span suspension bridge, which lasted over three months and continuously collected ambient vibration and temperature data on the bridge. Statistical modal properties of a bridge tower are presented and compared with similar estimates from a previous deployment of sensors on the bridge and finite element models.

  • The wind resistant design of long-span bridges has urged a special attention to the prevention of the flutter occurrence Therefore calculation of flutter derivatives is indispensable to this prediction. A used system identification method must identify all the flutter derivatives from noisy experimental data In this paper MITD(Modified Ibrahim Tim Domain) method and AKF (Adaptive Kalman Filter) method are applied to extract flutter derivatives from section-model tests. The robustness and reliability of proposal SI methods under a high signal-to-noise ratio is demonstrated through numerical simulation for windtunnel test.

  • Recently Wireless sensor networks have been used for many purposes and is active for this study. The various methods to reduce energy consumption, which are actively being studied Wireless sensor network to reduce energy consumption, leading to improve transport efficiency, Cluster can be viewed using the research methods. Cluster method researches consists of a sensor node to the cluster and in among those they take out the Cluster head node and Cluster head node is having collects sensing information of circumferential nodes sensing to sink node transmits. Selected as cluster head sensor nodes so a lot of the energy consumption is used as a cluster head sensor nodes is lose a shorter life span have to be replaced by another sensor node. In this paper, to complement the disadvantages of a cluster-mesh method, proposes to manage memory efficiently about filtering method for sensing data. Filtering method to store the same data sensing unlike traditional methods of data filtering system sensing first sent directly by the hashing algorithm to calculate the hash table to store addresses and Sensing to store data on the calculated address in a manner to avoid duplication occurred later, and sensing data is not duplicated by filtering data to be stored in the hash table is a way.

  • The study presents the linear dynamic analysis of bridges under vehicular movement to examine the performance characteristics due to the various structural and loading conditions. The road surface roughness and bridge-vehicle interactions are considered. The road surface profiles for the approaching roadway and bridge decks are generated from power spectral density functions for different road roughness conditions. A new filtering method using the wheel trace is proposed to obtain the more rational bridge-vehicle interactions from the randomly generated road surface. The dynamic responses of various bridges designed according to current design practice are examined, in which important structural parameters(such as span length, girder spacing, etc.) are considering systematically. In addition, the traffic conditions of multi-truck traveling either consecutively on the same lane or side-by-side on the adjacent lanes are also evaluated.

  • As the ambient vibration test (AVT) of railway bridges has a limited range of speed, it has a limitation in examining the dynamic behavior of bridges accordingto speed. Thus, in order to analyze the correlation between the speed of a train passing over a bridge and the bridge's dynamic response, we conducted a speed-increasing experiment using a real diesel locomotive. To analyze the acceleration response characteristics, we attached seven vertical accelerometers at equal intervals throughout the entire section of the bridge except the supports, and one horizontal accelerometer to the middle span. Linear variable differential transformers (LVDT) were installed at the bridge's center in both vertical and horizontal directions to investigate the vertical and horizontal behaviors. The test train was statically loaded at the center and at the end of the bridge. And its speed was increased from 5 km/h to 90 km/h. With data obtained from the experiment, the vibration level was evaluated in each direction by the filtering frequency, and the level of horizontal vibration was examined in comparison with vertical vibration. The displacement and wheel load variation was analyzed by speed.

  • In this study, the numerical method is presented, which can consider the various train types and can solve the equations of motion for a vehicle-bridge interaction analysis by non-iteration procedure through formulating the coupled equations of motion. The coupled equations of motion for the vehicle-bridge interaction are solved by the Newmark ${\beta}$ of a direct integration method, and by composing the effective stiffness matrix and the effective force vector according to a analysis step, those can be solved with the same manner of the solving procedure of equilibrium equations in static analysis. Also, the effective stiffness matrix is reconstructed by the Skyline method for increasing the analysis effectiveness. The Cholesky's matrix decomposition scheme is applied to the analysis procedure for minimizing the numerical errors that can be generated in directly calculating the inverse matrix. The equations of motion for the conventional trains are derived, and the numerical models of the conventional trains are idealized by a set of linear springs and dashpots with 16 degrees of freedom. The bridge models are simplified by the 3 dimensional space frame element which is based on the Euler-Bernoulli theory. The rail irregularities of vertical and lateral directions are generated by the PSD functions of the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA). The results of the vehicle-bridge interaction analysis are verified by the experimental results for the railway plate girder bridges of a span length with 12 m, 18 m, and the experimental and analytical data are applied to the low pass filtering scheme, and the basis frequency of the filtering is a 2 times of the 1st fundamental frequency of a bridge bending.

  • Noise from electronic instrumentation is invariably present in biomedical signals, although the art of instrumentation design is such that this noise source may be negligible. And sometimes signals of interest are contaminated or degraded by signals of similar type from another source. Biomedical signals are omni-presently contaminated by these background noises that span nearly all frequency bandwidths. In the magneto-cardiogram (MCG), several digital filters have been designed for the elimination of the power-line interference, broadband white noise, surrounding magnetic noise, and baseline wondering. In addition to the introduced FIR filter, notch, adaptive filter using the least mean square (LMS) algorithm, and recurrent neural network (RNN) filter, a new filtering method for effective noise canceling in MCG signals is proposed in this paper, which is realized by the wavelet packets. The experimental results show that the proposed filter using wavelet packet performs efficiently with respect to noise rejection. To verify this, two characteristics were analyzed and compared with LMS adaptive filter, SNR of filtered signal and attractor pattern using the nonlinear dynamics.

  • Cable-supported bridges, as important large infrastructures, require a long-term and systematic maintenance strategy. In particular, various methods have been proposed to secure safety for the bridges, such as installing various types of sensor on members in the bridges, and setting management thresholds. It is evidently necessary to propose a strategic plan to efficiently manage increasing number of cable-supported bridges and data collected from a number of sensors. This study aims to develop an analysis tool that can automatically remove abnormal signals and calculate statistical results for the purpose of efficiently analyzing a wide range of data collected from a long span bridge measurement system. To develop the tool, basic information such as the types and quantity of sensors installed in long span bridges and signal characteristics of the collected data were analyzed. Thereafter, the Humpel filtering method was used to determine the presence or absence of an abnormality in the signal and then filtered. The statistical results with filtered data were shown. Finally, one cable-stayed bridge and one suspension bridge currently in use were chosen as the target bridges to verify the performance of the developed tool. Signal processing and statistical analysis with the tool were performed. The results are similar to the results reported in the existing work.

  • Damping ratio and frequency have influence on dynamic serviceability or instability such as vortex-induced vibration and displacement amplification due to earthquake and critical flutter velocity, and it is thus important to make determination of damping ratio and frequency accurate. As bridges are getting longer, small scale model test considering similitude law must be conducted to evaluate damping ratio and frequency. Analysis conditions modified by similitude law are applied to experimental test considering different scale ratios. Generally, Nyquist frequency condition based on natural frequency modified by similitude law has been used to determine sampling rate for different scale ratios, and total time length has been determined by users arbitrarily or by considering similitude law with respect to time for different scale ratios. However, Nyquist frequency condition is not suitable for multimode system with noisy signals. In addition, there is no specified criteria for determination of total time length. Those analysis conditions severely affect accuracy of damping ratio. The focus of this study is made on the determination of minimum analysis conditions for different scale ratios. Influence of signal to noise ratio is studied according to the level of noise level. Free initial value problem is proposed to resolve the condition that is difficult to know original initial value for free vibration. Ambient and free vibration tests were used to analyze the dynamic properties of a system using data collected from tests with a two degree-of-freedom section model and performed on full bridge 3D models of cable stayed bridges. The free decay is estimated with the stochastic subspace identification method that uses displacement data to measure damping ratios under noisy conditions, and the iterative least squares method that adopts low pass filtering and fourth order central differencing. Reasonable results were yielded in numerical and experimental tests.
