  • For the safty driving of an automobile which is become individual requisites, a new Neural Network algorithm which recognized the load vehicles in real time is proposed. The proposed neural network technique is the real time computation method through the inter-node diffusion. The most reliable algorithm derived for real time recognition of vehicles, is a dynamic programming based algorithm based on sequence matching techniques that would process the data as it arrives and could therefore provide continuously updated neighbor information estimates.

어댑티드 회로 배치 유전자 알고리즘의 설계와 구현 (Design and Implementation of a Adapted Genetic Algorithm for Circuit Placement)

  • Placement is a very important step in the VLSI physical design process. It is the problem of placing circuit modules to optimize the circuit performance and reliability of the circuit. It is used at the layout level to find strongly connected components that can be placed together in order to minimize the layout area and propagation delay. The most popular algorithms for circuit placement include the cluster growth, simulated annealing, integer linear programming and genetic algorithm. In this paper we propose a adapted genetic algorithm searching solution space for the placement problem, and then compare it with simulated annealing and genetic algorithm by analyzing the results of each implementation. As a result, it was found that the adaptive genetic algorithm approaches the optimal solution more effectively than the simulated annealing and genetic algorithm.

  • A plethora of applications from mathematical programmings, such as minimax, mathematical programming, penalization and fixed point problems can be framed as variational inequality problems. Most of the methods that used to solve such problems involve iterative methods, that is why, in this paper, we introduce a new extragradient-like method to solve pseudomonotone variational inequalities in a real Hilbert space. The proposed method has the advantage of a variable step size rule that is updated for each iteration based on previous iterations. The main advantage of this method is that it operates without the previous knowledge of the Lipschitz constants of an operator. A strong convergence theorem for the proposed method is proved by letting the mild conditions on an operator 𝒢. Numerical experiments have been studied in order to validate the numerical performance of the proposed method and to compare it with existing methods.

Design of Metaverse for Two-Way Video Conferencing Platform Based on Virtual Reality

  • As non-face-to-face activities have become commonplace, online video conferencing platforms have become popular collaboration tools. However, existing video conferencing platforms have a structure in which one side unilaterally exchanges information, potentially increase the fatigue of meeting participants. In this study, we designed a video conferencing platform utilizing virtual reality (VR), a metaverse technology, to enable various interactions. A virtual conferencing space and realistic VR video conferencing content authoring tool support system were designed using Meta's Oculus Quest 2 hardware, the Unity engine, and 3D Max software. With the Photon software development kit, voice recognition was designed to perform automatic text translation with the Watson application programming interface, allowing the online video conferencing participants to communicate smoothly even if using different languages. It is expected that the proposed video conferencing platform will enable conference participants to interact and improve their work efficiency.

  • The path of an industrial manipulator in a crowded workspace generally consists of 8 set of Cartesian straight line path connecting a set of two adjacent points. To achieve the Cartesian straight line path is, however, a nontrivial task and an alternative approach is to place enough intermediate points along a desired path and linearly interpolate between these points in the joint space. A method is developed that determines the subtravelling- and the transition-time such that the total travelling time for this path is minimized subject to the maximum joint velocities and accelerations constraint. The method is based on the application of nonlinear programming technique, i.e., FTM (Flexible Tolerance Method). These results are simulated on a digital computer using a six-joint revolute manipulator to show their applications.

  • This study aims to introduce a model for enhancing community well-being through the utilization of public open data. To objectively assess abstract notions of residential satisfaction, text data from complaints is analyzed. By leveraging accessible public data, costs related to data collection are minimized. Initially, relevant text data containing civic complaints is collected and refined by removing extraneous information. This processed data is then combined with meaningful datasets and subjected to topic modeling, a text mining technique. The insights derived are visualized using Geographic Information System (GIS) and Application Programming Interface (API) data. The efficacy of this analytical model was demonstrated in the Godeok/Gangil area. The proposed methodology allows for comprehensive analysis across time, space, and categories. This flexible approach involves incorporating specific public open data as needed, all within the overarching framework.

스마트 안전도시 조성을 위한 도로망 특성과 범죄발생 멀티에이전트(Multi-Agent) 시뮬레이션 (Road Networks and Crime Occurrence Multi-Agent Simulation for Smart Safe City)

  • 본 연구는 범죄로부터 안전한 생활환경 조성을 위해 도로망의 형태도 범죄발생에 영향을 미칠 것이라는 가정하에 공간구문론(Space Syntax)을 활용하여 사례지역을 대상으로 실증 분석하였다. 즉 도로별로 통합도, 통제도, 연결도를 공간구문론으로 계산하고, 각 도로별 실제 범죄발생 건수와 상관성을 분석하였다. 다음으로 분석결과를 일반화할 수 있는지를 확인하기 위해 멀티에이전트모형(Multi-Agent Model)을 개발하여 컴퓨터상의 가상공간에서 시나리오를 설정하고 시뮬레이션 하였다. 그 결과 도로망의 통합도가 범죄발생과 가장 연관성이 높은 것으로 분석되었으며, 가상공간 시뮬레이션 결과에도 통합도가 가장 영향을 많이 주는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 멀티에이전트 시뮬레이션에서 실험공간 규모나 에이전트 행동의 프로그래밍에 한계가 있었지만 현실 데이터와 가상공간 시뮬레이션에 의해 도로망 체계와 범죄발생간의 관계를 규명하였다는데 의의가 있다. 또한 본 연구에서 개발된 시뮬레이션 플랫폼은 다양한 실험이 가능하므로 경찰력이나 방범시설의 배치 등 보다 현실적인 문제에 대한 해결방안 모색과 스마트 안전도시를 앞당기는데 기여할 것이다.

국내 수도권 대학캠퍼스 확장을 위한 전략 연구 - 확장전략의 유형적 특징을 중심으로 - (A Study on Strategy for College Campus Expansion in Seoul Metropolitan Area - Focused on Typological Characteristics of Expansion Strategies -)

  • Historically, college campuses have played a role of a city, and the development pattern of various forms and functions of cities was found in the growth stages of campuses as well. In this way, campuses developed in close relationships with our lives and such a characteristic can be confirmed in a number of cases in and out of the country. The strategic concept of such expansion is shown in the strategic classification through a master plan. This research examines concepts of major universities in the metropolitan area of Korea for promoting campus expansion and proposes implications through them. The results drawn from the research are as follows. Firstly, various developmental directions should be sought in aspects of planning, programming and economics for campus expansion with the complex application of such factors. Secondly, the multi-campus strategy of past localization era is changing into the concept of forming a global campus materializing itself as the planning strategy of internal campus. Thirdly, the physical barrier is being dissolved as a way to promote the relationship with local communities, and particularly, the management strategy of constructing new buildings in connection with local communities is the leading measure of materialization. Lastly, the development of underground space is actively carried out due to the limitation of ground physical space through which a role of establishing new campus order along with securing space is pursued.

세종시 신설 초등학교의 학교규모와 배치특성 분석 (An Analysis on the Characteristics of Site Planning and Size of Newly-Built Elementary Schools in Sejong City)

  • 본 연구는 세종시 신설 초등학교의 학교규모와 배치계획의 개선점을 제시하기 위한 것으로 24개 학교를 대상으로 교지면적, 학교규모, 외부공간 구성비를 비교분석하였다. 연구결과 현재 초등학교 50학급 이상의 규모계획은 병설유치원 포함 48학급 이하로 조정이 필요하며, 학교규모 산정시 학생 수가 아닌 학급 수에 따른 기준을 적용해 교지면적 대비 적정 학급 수를 유지하는 노력이 필요하다. 교지 대비 교사면적은 평균 24.6%로 타 시도대비 높게 나타나고 체육장은 19.9%로 낮게 나타남으로 교사면적 비율을 20%대 초반으로 낮추어 체육장을 비롯한 외부공간의 구성비를 높여야 한다고 판단된다. 아울러 교지면적과 학교규모 산정시에 지구단위계획, 교지의 특수성으로 손실되는 면적을 고려하여 배치가능 면적과 외부공간으로 활용 가능한 면적을 구분하여 적용할 필요가 있다.

반환 지향 프로그래밍 공격에 대한 효율적인 방어 기법 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Efficient Mitigation against Return-oriented Programming)

  • 반환 지향 프로그래밍 공격(ROP)은 프로그램에 존재하는 반환 명령어로 끝나는 코드 조각들을 조합하여 가젯을 만들고, 연속적으로 실행하여 스택의 내용을 조작함으로써 프로그램의 제어권을 가져오는 공격이다. 이에 대한 기존 방어기법은 높은 실행 오버헤드와 바이너리 증가 오버헤드를 갖거나, 적용 범위의 제한이 있는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존 기법의 문제점을 갖지 않으면서 성능 및 바이너리 크기 증가 측면에서 효율적인 방어 기법인 zero-sum defender를 제안한다. 반환 지향 프로그래밍 공격은 정상적인 프로그램의 흐름과 다르게, 함수 호출 명령어가 실행되지 않고 여러 반환 명령어가 실행되는 실행 특성을 가진다. 제안 기법은 이러한 특성을 이용하여 프로그램 실행 흐름이 반환 지향 프로그래밍 공격에 의해 오용되는지 모니터링하여 방어 기능을 수행한다. 실제 공격 모델에 대한 실험을 통해 방어 기법의 효용성을 확인하였고, 벤치마크 실험을 통해 약 2%의 성능 오버헤드와 약 1%의 바이너리 크기 증가만으로 방어가 이루어짐을 확인하였다.
