배경: 우리나라에서 노인에 대한 음악치료 지표에 관한 연구가 미진하여 연구의 필요성이 높다. 목적: 본 연구는 노인의 음악치료 효과 증진을 위한 음악 유형 및 활동에 대한 선호도 조사를 통해 음악치료 중재 프로그램 활용 방안을 제시하는 것에 목적을 둔다. 방법: 음악 선호도 조사를 위해 4개의 요양원에 있는 91명의 노인을 대상으로 진행하였다. 설문은 선호하는 노래와 악기의 유형, 음악치료에서 적용되는 음악적 활동(음악 감상, 노래 활동, 악기 연주, 음악적 움직임, 연주회 중심 활동)에 대한 선호도를 선택할 수 있도록 했다. 결과: 노인들은 대중가요와 민요를 선호했고, 노래를 들으며 움직이는 것을 가장 좋아하는 것으로 파악되었다. 음악적 활동 분야는 악기 연주를 가장 선호했으며, 악기는 무율 악기(리듬 악기) 중 드럼 종류와 쉐이커 종류를 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 이 연구 결과는 음악치료의 중요성이 부각되고 있는 노인을 위한 음악치료의 임상적인 효과를 높이기 위한 효율적인 중재 프로그램 구성을 위해 유용한 자료가 될 것으로 기대된다.

가부장권 사회에서 여성들의 사회적 위치는 미미하였으며, 여성들의 욕구 표출 방법이 제한되어 있었다. 특히 조선 후기로 접어들면서 유교의 영향으로 여성은 가정내적 존재로 규정되면서 사회적 역할은 극도로 제한을 받았다. 더군다나 민요를 향유한 여성들은 신분적으로나 성(性)적으로 차대(差待)를 받는 이중적 소수자로서 가장 열악한 현실적 상황 속에서 살아야만 했다. 이러한 현실적 여건 속에서 여성들은 민요를 통해 자신의 신세를 한탄하고, 자신들의 감성을 자유롭게 표현할 수 있었다. 그동안 여성 민요는 대한 논의는 여성들의 생활상과 연결시키거나 구조와 의미 등을 고찰한 연구가 많이 진행되었으나 감성에 대한 논의는 본격적으로 다뤄지지 않았다. 이에 본고는 이러한 문제의식에서 출발하여 여성 민요에 나타난 감성의 발현양상을 다각도로 살펴보고, 이에 대한 해석을 논급하였다. 여성 민요에 발현된 감성의 발현양상으로는 시집살이의 고난으로 인한 한, 사랑하는 임과의 이별로 인한 그리움, 출산과 양육에서 비롯된 희망, 일탈과 해방으로 인한 신명을 들 수 있다. 그리고 이를 통해 여성들은 여성 자신의 역할이나 타자의 관계를 통해서 감성이 형성된다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 힘든 현실 속에서 애타적(愛他的) 사랑을 통해 인고할 수 있었고, 자기애로 인해 슬픔을 어느 정도 상쇄해가며 힘든 현실을 극복하고 고통을 치유한다는 점을 고찰하였다. 그런데 힘든 현실을 극복하고 고통을 치유하기 위해서는 근본적으로 타자와의 소통이 절실하다. 시집식구와의 원만한 관계를 회복하고, 사랑하는 임과의 관계가 회복된다면 긍정적인 감정으로 전환될 수 있기 때문이다. 또한 여성들은 자식을 낳아 기르면서 아이와의 관계 속에서 기쁨과 충만함을 느끼고, 여성 동류들과의 관계 속에서 동질감과 유대감을 형성하여 즐거움을 느낄 수 있었다. 여성들은 시집살이라는 삶의 환경 속에서 부정적인 감정을 완전히 해소하기란 쉽지 않았다. 그것은 생활환경의 변화나 가족들의 관계가 재구성되지 않고서는 치유하기 어렵기 때문이다. 다만 일시적이나마 부정적인 감정을 잊을 수 있고, 응어리진 감정을 다소 줄일 수 있는 방법은 자기 표현방식을 통해서일 것이다. 여성들은 혼자서 물레질이나 밭일과 바느질 등을 하면서 소리로서 자신의 신세를 한탄하기도 했을 것이고, 동네 여자들과 함께 모여 노래를 하면서 자신의 마음을 토로하여 위안을 받고자 했을 것이다. 그리고 자신들의 욕구를 민요를 통해 드러내면서 어느 정도 부정적인 감정을 줄이거나 긍정적인 감정으로의 전환을 도모하고자 했을 수도 있다. 이처럼 민요는 단순히 가창자의 감정을 표출하기 위한 수단으로 이용된 것뿐만 아니라 여성들의 정체성을 회복하고, 억압되었던 감성을 치유하는 면에서 정신치료학적인 의미를 지니고 있다.

원주농요는 지역별로 크게 동부민요로, 이것은 지역특색이 민요의 음조, 형태, 선율적 색깔, 사설에 확연히 반영되어 있는 차이점이 있다. 원주오리골농요의 원주어리랑을 포함한 농요에 대한 전승가치와 지역적 관심이 점차 확대되었다. 강원 영서권에서 원주농요는 그 보전 전승과 가치는 크다. 원주농요의 정체성을 확립하고 전승의 맥락화 높이기에 집중해야 한다. 보존회의 전승 노력과 교육 활동도 강조되어야 한다. 원주농요의 전승양상과 아울러 활용방안에 대한 논의가 집약적으로 진행하였다. 복원에 대한 심층적 담론이 제기되며 활용의 국면도 다양하게 검토되어야 온당하다. 기존의 농요연구에서 아리랑을 독립적으로 다루지 않은 것은 문제점으로 보아 더 깊게 다루었다. 원주오리골농요는 한국농업노동요의 공연예술성을 민속예술축제로 선점한 무형문화재의 대상이다. 원주어리랑의 문화적 가치를 토리적인 측면에서 보면 지역민들의 문학성과 음악성 등 토속적인 지역만의 순수한 정서와 감성이 담겼다. 초군(초(草)일꾼) 기록화 사업, 두레의 소규모 다양성에 관심이 필요하다. 원주어리랑이 농요의 한 유형으로 존재하면서 다양한 가창적(歌唱的) 단위를 지니고 있었음을 알 수 있었다. 창자들은 서로의 만남에서부터 사랑, 혼인, 현실사연, 시집살이, 죽음에 이르기까지 다양한 삶의 여정을 사설의 구조 속에서 풀어내고 있다. 원주오리골농요 사설에는 삶에 대한 다양한 원주인 정서가 함의되어 있다. 특히, 갈뜯기소리, 풀뜯기소리 사설에서 성 희화화와 생생력의 소박성, 해학성이 다양하게 나타났다. 과거에는 논밭농사의 노동적 기능에 부합하여 작시하되, 일상 속에서 전승하는데 기억하기 쉬운 반복적 표현을 통해서 연행하고 있다. 원주오리골농요는 농사풀이를 신명과 축제의 어울림으로 승화시킨 농업노동요 원형이다. 축제의 이미지는 전승맥락에서 역사성이나 생명성이다. 원주어리랑 소리의 가치를 높이 평가하고 앞으로의 전승력 강화 방향을 공동 모색해야 한다. 소리꾼은 구비시인으로서 민요의 스토리텔러이다. 구성과 연출 모두 소리꾼의 몫이다. 민요 시적 자아의 개방성을 통해 연희적 재담적 기능을 발휘한다. 오리골농요에는 가락, 율동, 옛 원주 농사를 일부 볼 수 있는 유희적 효과를 조화 있게 재구성한 민족예술의 항목이다. 전형 위주의 도문화재 등재에 집중해야 한다. 전승기반의 문제인데 공동체 마을을 선정하는 것이 한 대안이기도 하다.

It has been suggested that the bush warbler (Cettia diphone borealis) uses different song types in various situations. We analyzed song features and conducted playback experiments in order to reveal the function of songs of the bush warbler. Two song types were identified. The short song type has a shorter song duration than that of normal song types and consists of only one or two syllables. Due to its short syllable and low amplitude of the whistle portion, we were able to discriminate the short song type (S song type). from the normal song type (N song Type). In the playback experiments, bush warblers sang high rates of short song type for the first three minutes after playback. After 6 minutes of playback, males changed to singing normal songs. These results suggest that the short song of the bush warbler may function to threaten or drive off intruding males.

The purpose of this acoustic experimental study was to investigate interrelation between prosodic features of Korean spoken language and those of Korean folk songs. The words of Changbutaryoung were spoken for analysis of spoken language by three female graduate students and the song was sung for musical features by three Kyunggi Minyo singers. Pitch contours were analyzed from sound spectrogram made by Pitch Works. Results showed that special musical voices (breaking, tinkling, vibrating, etc.) and tunes (rising, falling, level, etc) of folk song were discovered at the same place where accents of spoken language came. It appeared that, even though the patterns of pitch contour were different from each other, there was positive interrelation between prosodic features of Korean spoken language and those of Korean folk songs.

By analyses of lullabies, nursery rhymes, Christmas carols, and pop songs, the relevances of beat, syllable and note are set up as follows. (1) The relevance of beat to syllable a. A stressed syllable can occupy a strong beat. b. A monosyllabic word carrying a strong beat must have the syllabic structure of a strong syllable. (2) The note duration a. The duration of a note carrying a strong beat tends to be as long as or longer than that of a note carrying a weak beat. b. The note connected with the last position of phonological unit tends to be longer than that of other position without regard to the syllabic structure.

This study examined the causal relationship between the Chinese preference for Korean cultural products (Korean talent, K-pop songs, TV dramas, and movies), for Korean fashion products, and their purchase intentions. The relationship between the Korea's national brand image and Chinese fashion leadership with the three variables was investigated. Data was collected from 580 Chinese in Dalian, China. The data was analyzed using frequency, correlations, reliability, and AMOS for path analysis. The results of this study were as follows. First, the preference for Korean talent, K-pop songs, TV dramas, movies, and fashion products showed that the Chinese had a positive response and the degree of preference for each item was similar. Second, the Chinese preference for Korean talent, movies, and TV dramas significantly influenced the preference for Korean fashion products. In addition, the Chinese preference for Korean fashion products significantly influenced the purchase intentions of Korean fashion products. Third, the Chinese preference for Korean talent and fashion products had a significant relationship with their fashion leadership. In addition, the preference for Korean talent, movies, TV dramas, K-pop songs, fashion products, and purchase intentions had the same positive relationship with Korea's national brand images. This study examined from a structural aspect how the preference of Korean intangible cultural products affected the purchase intention of Korean fashion products. This study explored that the preference for Korean cultural products transcended the popularity of the Korean popular culture with a subsequent national industrial and economic ripple effect that improved the national brand image.
