곰팡이 균종을 달리한 밀가루 누룩의 탁주양조 적성 (Aptitudes for Takju Brewing of Wheat Flour-Nuluks Made with Different Mold Species)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the aptitude of wheat flour-Nuluks, for Takju brewing, which were made with Aspergillus oryzae, Rhizopus japonicus or Aspergillus usamii mut. Shirousamii, and to know the way of effective use the Aspergillus oryzae-Nuluk showed high saccharogenic activity, and Rhizopus japonicus-Nuluk high proteolytic activity. When these two Nuluks were combined, the activities of saccharogenic amylase and protease were more balanced. The Takju mash of Aspergillus oryzae-Nuluk was high in acidity and in amino acidity, and that of Rhizopus japonicus-Nuluk high in the content of free sugar, but, that of Aspergillus usamii mut. Shirousamii-Nuluk was low in amino acidity, free sugar and ethanol content. The Takju of Rhizopus japonicus-Nuluk was high in the content of suspended solid and slow in its sedimenting rate, but that of Aspergillus usamii mut. Shirousamii-Nuluk was not. The Takju which was made with combined use of Aspergillus oryzae-Nuluk and Rhizopus japonicus-Nuluk was more balanced in the composition of flavoring ingredients, and was slow in sedimenting rate of suspended solid. Moreover, it gained good result in sunsory evaluation test.

하수슬러지 BIO-SRF (Solid Recovered Fuel) 생산을 위한 NIR (Near Infrared Ray) 건조시 응집제 주입비율이 미치는 영향 (Effect of Flocculant Injection Ratio in NIR (Near-Infrared Ray) Drying for BIO-SRF (Solid Recovered Fuel) of Swage Sludge)

  • This study executed evaluation of drying characteristics based on the polymer injection rate (8%, 10% and 12%) and the drying method[NIF(near-infrared ray). According to this study analyzed VS, VS/TS, and calorific value compared with 'the auxiliary fuel standard of the thermoelectric power plant and the combined heat & power plant'. The results are as follows. In the case of NIR, the VS was slightly changed at the early stage of the material preheating period and the constant drying rate period with low moisture evaporation. But VS reduction was shown higher as moisture was dried. In the case of non-digested sludge with high VS content, the VS reduction rate by drying was shown lower than that of digested sludge. As the flocculant injection rate increased, the VS loss due th drying was found to be small. Also, the higher the flocculant injection rate was the longer the drying time. Especially, in the case of the NIR drying equipment, as the moisture content of sewage sludge decreased(moisture content 20~40%), the loss of net VS also showed a tendency to increase sharply. It is shown that the high calorific value according to the drying time of the non-digested sludge was changed from 590 kcaℓ/kg to 3,005 kcaℓ/kg and from 539 kcaℓ/kg to 2,796 kcaℓ/kg.

고체 연료첨가제 제조 기준 설정을 위한 연구 (A Study on Manufacturing Standards for Solid Type Fuel Additive)

  • 본 연구에서는 고체 연료첨가제 제조기준 설정을 위해 연료에 첨가제 주입 시 발생될 수 있는 악영향을 고려하여 용해도, 용해속도 및 회분에 대한 실험을 실시하였다. 그 결과 용해도는 대상연료에 첨가제를 주입하기 전의 무게에 비하여 첨가제 주입 후 여과되는 무게가 증가하였으며, 여과필터의 Pore size가 증가함에 따라 여과되는 첨가제의 무게는 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 용해속도 실험결과 상온에서 휘발유 1L에 1g의 첨가제를 용해시켰을 때, 2시간 이내에 모두 녹아 가장 빠른 용해속도를 보였고, 영하 $20^{\circ}C$의 경유에서는 72시간이 지나도록 변화가 거의 없었다. 회분 실험에서는 첨가제를 녹인 휘발유가 첨가제를 녹이지 않은 휘발유에 비해 28배 많은 양의 회분이 발생하였으며, 이로 인해 대부분의 회분은 첨가제로부터 생성된다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

로스팅 조건이 삼백초, 인진쑥, 산조인, 당귀, 작약 및 천궁을 첨가한 한방차의 벤조피렌 변화에 미치는 영향 (Influences of Roasting Conditions to Herbal Tea Containing Saururus chinensis, Artemisia capillarisin, Zizyphus vulgaris, Angelica gigas, Paeoniae radix and Cnidium officinale on Its Benzo[${\alpha}$]pyrene Changes)

  • 한방차의 roasting 온도를 $80{\sim}140^{\circ}C$ 범위로 하여 성분 변화를 분석한 결과, 온도의 상승에 따라 수분함량이 감소하고 일부 탄화가 발생하며 조 회분 함량이 소폭 상승하였고, 조 지방 및 조단백질 함량은 소폭 감소하였다. 한방차의 고형분 용출율은 0.15~0.32%(w/w)를 나타내었는데, roasting 온도가 상승할수록 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. 처리온도가 $80{\sim}110^{\circ}C$구간에서는 큰 변화를 나타내지 않은 반면 $110{\sim}140^{\circ}C$구간에서는 고형분 용출율이 급격히 감소하였다. 온도가 상승할수록 용출율이 감소하는 것은 내부 조직이 치밀하여 상대적으로 용출이 어렵기 때문이다. 벤조피렌 함량은 0.29~0.51ppb으로 온도가 높을수록 $B({\alpha})P$함량이 증가하였다. 처리온도와 원재료에 따라 $B({\alpha})P$ 함량에 차이가 발생하며, 내부온도는 약 $200^{\circ}C$정도지만 roaster 표면의 실제 온도는 약 $2000^{\circ}C$에 이르는데 표면과 접촉한 부분에서 $B({\alpha})P$가 생성된다. $B({\alpha})P$는 주로 음식을 조리, 가공할 때 식품의 주성분인 탄수화물, 단백질, 지방 등이 열분해 되어 생성되는 것으로 생각된다.

Ni-Al 합금의 일방향 응고 거동에 미치는 Re 및 응고속도의 영향 (The Effect of Re addition and Solidification Rate on the Directional Solidification Behavior of Ni-Al Alloy)

  • The effect of Re addition and solidification rate on the directional solidification behavior of Ni-Al model alloy has been investigated. Directional solidification (DS) were carried out using the modified Bridgman furnace with various solidification rates. The solid/liquid interface during directional solidification was preserved by quenching the specimen after the desired volume fraction of original liquid was solidified. The equilibrium partition coefficients of Al and Re Were estimated by measuring the compositions at the quenched solid/liquid interface. Then, the effect of Re addition on the elemental segregation behavior was carefully analyzed. The differential scanning calorimetry results showed that the Re addition results in increased ${\gamma}'$ solvus and freezing range of the alloy. It was also shown that the primary dendrite arm spacing gradually decreases with increasing the Re content, while the secondary dendrite arm spacing appears to be independent on the Re content. The compositional analyses clearly revealed that the segregation of Al increased with increasing the Re content and solidification rate, while that of Re was found to be independent on the solidification rate in the range of $10{\sim}100{\mu}m/s$ due to its sluggish diffusion rate in the Ni solid solution.

Automation of Solid-state Bioreactor for Oyster Mushroom Composting

  • This study focused on the production of high quality compost for the growth of aero-thermophilic fungi, which has a promoting effect on the growth rate and production of oyster mushrooms. The automated solid-state bioreactor system was designed on the basis of a Three-Phase-One system, which controls the serial steps of prewetting, pasteurization and fermentation processes. High numbers of thermophilic fungi and bacteria were recovered from the mushroom composts prepared by this solid-state bioreactor. The rates of composting process were depended on physical as well as chemical factors. Among these factors, the parameters of moisture content and temperature were found to be particularly important. In our automated system, constant levels of moisture content, temperature and ventilation via mixing were provided by a centralized control apparatus including PLC, water tank and water jacket systems. These features induced higher microbiological activity of aero-thermophiles.

  • The purposes of this study were to examine effect by Solid Matrix Priming(SMP) ; method far enhanced rapid and uniform seedling emergence in tobacco seeds. The results were as follows. No enhancement of germination rate was by SMP treatment. In KF114 during 9 days treatment and in KB108 during 7 days treatment, germinative energy was highest, and T50 and mean germination time were the shortest. Cells in embryo and hypocotyl were divided and extended during SMP treatment. The contents of fatty acid were increased in SMP treatment. The changes of glucose content were little.

고체입자 충돌침식으로 인한 배관 재질의 손상에 관한 연구 (A Study of Damage on the Pipe Flow Materials Caused by Solid Particle Erosion)

  • Wall thinning can be classified into three types: flow-accelerated corrosion, cavitation erosion and solid particle erosion. This article presents a study of solid particle erosion, which frequently causes damages to power plants' pipe system. Unlike previous studies, this study uses a mechanism to make solid particles in a fluid flow collide with pipe materials in underwater condition. Experiment is conducted in three cases of velocity according to solid-water ratio using the three types of the materials of A106B, SS400, and A6061. The experiments were performed for 30 days, and the surface morphology and hardness of the materials were examined for every 7 days. Based on the velocity change of the solid particles in a fluid flow, the surface changes, the change in the amount of erosion, the erosion rate and the variation in the hardness of carbon steel and aluminum family pipe materials can all be determined. In addition, factor-based erosion rates are verified and a wall-thinning relation function is suggested for the pipe materials.

  • Expression of chinese cabbage was conducted in order to investigate its dewatering behavior. Chipped cabbage was packed into cylinder and pressed by piston up to the predetermined pressure on Instron-1000. The rates of dewatering were affected domintantly by the applied pressure, but not significantly by the packed amount of cabbage in the cylinder. The pressure effect was increased very abruptly at first, but the increase rate was very low at high pressure greater than 20 MPa, showing great deviation from linear dependence of flow rate on pressure in Darcy's Law. Therefore, water expression from cabbage was not Newtonian flow of water through cell wall. In fact, the squeezed water contained a lot of solid particles, showing destruction of cell wall. The content of solid particles in expressed water was only slightly lower than the dry matter content of fresh chinese cabbage, determined by drying oven method.
