This study is a study on the recognition and policy direction of welfare service for the disabled. For this, it aims to draw implications about the policy direction of welfare service for the disabled using basic investigation of welfare for the disabled among $2^{nd}$, $3^{rd}$ community social welfare plans of Jeollanam-do. As study results, it was analysed that the demand of welfare service for the disabled is increasing from providing the past livelihood such as establishing the foundation for basic livelihood to customized welfare service such as supplying jobs for enhancing the quality of life of the disabled. That is judged to be caused by needs for human's basic rights according to economic development and improvement in income level, and it will be appropriate to set up the software-focused policy for the disabled individuals rather than to set up the hardware-focused policy like the past. Despite the implications like these, however, this study has limitation that its subject is restricted to D-gun, so henceforth it needs to draw more general conclusions through comprehensive research about more extensive regions.
The semiconductor industry develops and maintains software embedded in computer-controlled tools and facilities, to process and manufacture high-tech products. Upgrading embedded softwares for semiconductor processing robots and machinery is one of the basic activities that must be performed in order to maintain product quality and integrity. Maintenance and enhancement of embedded software consume a major portion of the total life cycle cost of a system. However, the area has been given little attention in the literature. 502 maintenance and enhancement cases, related to embedded softwares in wafer processing machines, were selected at random for analysis. Practical implications are also discussed.
Immunization has been one of the most effective measures preventing from infectious diseases. However, children routine vaccination rate of Korea was 68.2% and it was not higher than expected. Korean government revised the School Health Law for every primary school children to submit the vaccination certificate record from 2005. It is quite important national Infectious disease prevention policy to keep the immunizations rate high and monitor the immunizations rate continuously. To do this, National Institute of Health introduced the National Immunization Registry(NIR) Program at 2000. Objective : The aims of this study was to evaluate the Immunization Registry program which has been implementing since 2000 at the Public Health Centers(PHC). Methods : The mail survey was done from November 2001 to January 2002. 169 (69%) Public Health Centers among 244 PHC were responded. Results : The respondents of PHC sud the Immunization Registry(IR) program had reduced the workload (18.5%). 69.2% said they inputted the immunization data into the IR program after the shots were given. 86.5% said they hadn´t checked or retrieved the children lists who had missed the scheduled immunization. Only 17.2% said the speed of internet for the R program was good. It showed that 20% of respondents hadn´t written down documents, records on immunization any more. Even there were a lot of negative results, the respondents of PHC thought that the IR program was effective. They especially agreed that the IR program could make the job accurate (81.5%), convenient (71.3%), and reduced the chances of making mistakes (71.3%), increase the service quality (78.5%). And they were well adapting the job process of the IR (79.63%). Bivariate analysis showed that the software program was the important determinants of IR success. The only Bit Computer software program has been evaluated to be less satisfactory than the Integrated (Posdata operating system + Bit software) program. Other variables, such as age, duration of present job, and location of PHC (metropolitan, small city, rural area) were not significantly related. Conclusion : It seemed that the success of NIR might depend on the software program. Because Integrated program, which has been developed from 1994, include not only the general operating and management program for PHC but also IR program. It was natural to prefer Integrated program to Bit software program. So we can suggest that it is essential for the NIR to be successful that not only the immunization software program but also hardware equipments and public health information system should be further improved.
This paper proposes an integrated management system for products of game software development. Those products generated over software life-cycle are generally huge in numbers, various in kinds and interconnected in relationships among them. Especially they are highly complex and tightly coupled each other because they are used to build another world which is composed of multi-modal data such as graphics, sound, logics and so on. Therefore it is critical to manage development products in an integrated manner to guarantee the quality of software. The proposed system is designed to provide project/requirement/configuration/traceability management capabilities and interfacing to CASE standards. To achieve the objective, it is based on data warehouse technologies which provide central repositories of heterogeneous data, multi-aspect reporting&analysis capabilities, traceability, verification, etc.
As the hospital environment is changing rapidly, management is therefore obligated to use new ways to provide better service to patients. For example information system is introduced to some hospitals in Korea. Information system has several benefits such a soperational efficiency by on-line delivery and processing of data, accurate and rapid information production, continuous monitoring of performance and feedback, improvement of work process and better service quality. Still, many hospitals cannot be sure that information system is useful for improving organization performance. Because only one or two area of hospital information system were considered for development and with limited development hospital information system cannot be used effectively. The purpose of this study is to suggest the model of information system utilizaton and to analyze the hospital in formation system in Korea. The results are following; 1. In Korea, proportion of operating system of comuter is 31% of UNIX, 11% of IBM OS and 10% of PC LAN. 2. As we expect, scope of application software and amounts of heardware and software invest ments are affected by concern of CEO. 3. Many CIO(chief information officer) say that the biggest problems are lack of after-service and obsolescence of computer equipments in terms of hardware and shortage of application software for hospital in terms of software. 4. Personnel of information system department is so small that hospital information system can't be improved. 5. During the development of information system, full-time participation of end user is only 20% hospital with almost less than 12 person-month. This study was accomplished by survey through mail questionnaires. Response to the survey was only 55% and it was hard to generalize all the result obtained from this survey. However, We hope that this study would be helpful for helth care organization to acknowlege hospital information system in korea and to design the future architecture and frame of information system.

Our government has concentrated its policy capabilities on Software industry in order to realize software-centric society. Through such efforts, software industry has developed continuously. As well, it has been a high-valued industry by the association with other various industries, so its importance has been great and its market has grown explosively. However, owing to the hasty support policies focused on software industry, various problems and adverse effects, such as the decline of construction quality due to the confusion of business operator selection and the business area conflict, has occurred. Therefore, in this thesis, I will find the problem and its cause about software support policies and relevant laws according to rapid market change, and will suggest the improvement plan about them. So, I intend to minimize the problems associated with the confusion of business operator selection, through the business area clarification(software industry and information communication construction industry) about complex ICT industry.
Recently, concepts of the Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and cloud computing have been introduced and the limits of individual or team development policies are being reviewed. Also, a lot of latest technology source codes have been opened to the public, and related studies are being conducted based on them. Meanwhile, the company is applying the strengths of the open source software development methodology to proprietary software development, and publicly announcing support for open source development methodology. In this paper, we introduced several software development methodology such as open source model, inner source model, and the similar DevOps model, which have been actively discussed recently, and compared their characteristics and components. Rather than claiming the excellence of a specific model, we argue that if the software development policy of an individual or affiliated organization is established according to each benefit, they will be able to achieve software quality improvement while satisfying customer requirements.
Purpose - Open source software has high utilization in most of the server market. The utilization of open source software is a global trend. Particularly, Internet infrastructure and platform software open source software development has increased rapidly. Since 2003, the Korean government has published open source software promotion policies and a supply promotion policy. The dynamism of the open source software market, the lack of relevant expertise, and the market transformation due to reasons such as changes in the relevant technology occur slowly in relation to adoption. Therefore, this study proposes an assessment model of services provided in an open source software service company. In this study, the service level of open source software companies is classified into an enterprise-level assessment area, the service level assessment area, and service area. The assessment model is developed from an on-site driven evaluation index and proposed evaluation framework; the evaluation procedures and evaluation methods are used to achieve the research objective, involving an impartial evaluation model implemented after pilot testing and validation. Research Design, data, and methodology - This study adopted an iteration development model to accommodate various requirements, and presented and validated the assessment model to address the situation of the open source software service company. Phase 1 - Theoretical background and literature review Phase 2 - Research on an evaluation index based on the open source software service company Phase 3 - Index improvement through expert validation Phase 4 - Finalizing an evaluation model reflecting additional requirements Based on the open source software adoption case study and latest technology trends, we developed an open source software service concept definition and classification of public service activities for open source software service companies. We also presented open source software service company service level measures by developing a service level factor analysis assessment. The Behavior-Structure-Evolution Evaluation Model (BSEM) proposed in this study consisted of a rating methodology for calculating the level that can be granted through the assessment and evaluation of an enterprise-level data model. An open source software service company's service comprises the service area and service domain, while the technology acceptance model comprises the service area, technical domain, technical sub-domain, and open source software name. Finally, the evaluation index comprises the evaluation group, category, and items. Results - Utilization of an open source software service level evaluation model For the development of an open source software service level evaluation model, common service providers need to standardize the quality of the service, so that surveys and expert workshops performed in open source software service companies can establish the evaluation criteria according to their qualitative differences. Conclusion - Based on this evaluation model's systematic evaluation process and monitoring, an open source software service adoption company can acquire reliable information for open source software adoption. Inducing the growth of open source software service companies will facilitate the development of the open source software industry.
The convergence of various industries has removed the boundaries of software application fields and reduced the restrictions on convergence fields. Software requirements are diversified and they want to reconfigure software requirements in a fast cycle. Since various changes in requirements have to be accepted technically, research on methodologies and standards to increase the efficiency of software productivity and methods for standardizing and producing software are needed. In this study, we studied how the reusability and complexity of the software asset reconfiguration system appeared according to the developer's characteristics and environment to utilize the assets optimized in previous studies. At this time, we measured how the change in complexity according to the usability and asset composition method that appears according to the developer's characteristics appears, but there is a limit to the collected data, so it is necessary to secure the quality of the measured value through continuous data collection. In addition, an intelligent system application plan is needed to supplement the problem of context classification in the use stage of complex assets.
Today, Software as a Service(SaaS) is being recognized as a key means to enable the innovation of software distribution. Despite the increase in the interest in SaaS, individuals as well as businesses are not yet making an extensive use of it. This research is aimed at identifying and analyzing the antecedents of intentions to use SaaS. We proposed a research model to predict an individual's intention to use SaaS based on the Technology Acceptance Model(TAM). To this end, we conducted a questionnaire survey in which actual software users participated. An empirical analysis has been performed to test the reliability and validity and the hypotheses using SPSS and AMOS software packages. The results of the analysis revealed that functionality, interoperability and economic benefits have positive effects on the intention to use SaaS, while system quality has no significant effect on the behavioral intention. We discussed practical as well as academic implications, and provided research directions.
