  • 본 연구에서는 유럽방송연맹 규격의 라디오 데이터 시스템 수신기 개발을 위하여 그의 소수신 구성과 데이터 구조에 대하여 연구하였다. 5가지 기본 기능처리를 위한 프로그램을 개발하여쏘 자동 동조와 lcd 표시부 구성에 관하여 실험하였다. 기존의 FM 차량용 수신기와 완전 양립성을 확보하였으며, 그의 실현을 하드웨어 실험을 통하여 확인하였다.

  • Due to the strength and biocompatibility requirement, the stainless steel SUS 316L is widely used for trauma internal fixation device. SUS 316L can be hardened and strengthened only by cold work. In this work, the material compression test is performed both in laboratory and computer simulation by a FEM analysis software DEFORM to correlate the hardness to strain. This data is then used for preform design and predict the hardness of the finish bone plate forging. Finally, we compared the hardness between the actual forging and computer analysis results. Although the predicted hardness from computer simulation. is 55HV higher than the final forging sample, we can get good compatibility on the hardening tendency of cold forging.

  • The pneumatic vibration isolation systems have been widely used in industry and laboratories, but the full mathematical analysis and nonlinear modeling techniques have not been reported yet, even while the nonlinear features of the pneumatic vibration isolation system decide the main characteristics. For instance, the orifice in a pneumatic vibration isolator has been traditionally considered as a simple viscous damper, which was too much simplified to explain the performance of the isolation system. In this paper, the nonlinear characteristics are considered for the orifice and chamber, etc. The numerical simulation is carried out by the MATLAB/Simulink software. From the analysis result, a clear trend of the nonlinear features is shown: the vibration transmissibility changes not only due to the excitation frequency but also due to the amplitude of the vibration excitation. Therefore various design parameters are optimally chosen for the vibration isolation system. The proposed methods show good compatibility between the analysis results and the experiments.

  • Computer based instruction in the elementary science curriculum will be played an important role through the fifth curriculum reform from the 1989 school year. This is essential for the science instruction because the strategies on the problem-solvings and inquiry approaches can be utilized for the science classroom. Computer education can be thought as the education about the computer and the education using the computer. Of them the education using the computer means the computer assisted instruction(CAI) what is called all the possible activities using the computer in the classroom. Student achievement as the result of CAI depends on the learning activities of students and the instructional techniques and strategies of teachers using the computer. However, computer based education to enhance the student achievement is pointed out the lacks of the standardized Korean alphabet code and the compatibility of qualified software. These problems will be relieved according to the coding for the Korean alphabet of SUPER PILOT program language.

  • In this paper a new framework is presented for developing the personal robot being used in home environments. We mainly focus on the system engineering technology such as the modularization and standardization. Effective ways for interfacing among modules are addressed regarding compatibility in hardware and software, and as a result a personal robot platform named DHR I is built.   • A communication network protocol among programable devices built-i manufacturing field, MAP (Manufacturing Automation Protocol), has to provide the job transfer service carrying out a lot of jobs distributively, and the MMS( manufacturing message specification) defines the above application layer protocol. In this paper user software required in job transfer was implemented. So as to provide each service with compatibility and extension, each module was designed according to the functions. A method is selected in double-assigning their domain and program applicable even in complex process, which loads and proceeds several programs sequentially. In order to confirm the logical validity of the designed protocol, local applying test is accomplished for the application layer of response station. Modelling the job flow process, each serice module is verified with the I/O primitives.

  • One of the important topics concerning the safety of electrical and electronic system is the reliability of the wiring system. The Time-Frequency Domain Reflectometry(TFDR) is a state-of-the-art system for detection and estimation of the fault on a wiring/cable. The purpose of this paper is to implement a Labview based TFDR Real Time system though the instruments of PCI extensions for Instrumentation(PXI). The TFDR Real Time system consists of the five parts: Reference signal design, signal generation, signal acquisition, algorithm execution, results diplay part. In the signal generation and acquisition parts we adopt the Arbitrary Waveform Generator(AWG) and Digital Storage Oscilloscope(DSO) PXI modules which offer commonality, compatibility and easy integration at low cost. And execution of the PXI modules not only is controlled by the Labview programing but also the total system process is executed by the Labview application software.

  • In this paper, we present an implementation of the URC (Ubiquitous Robotics Companion) robot S/W platform which is based on the Qplus/Esto. We applied this platform to the NETTORO which is made by hanwool robotics for URC exhibition services and test the URC services on it. We expect this platform to be used in variable URC robots as standard S/W platform for improving the compatibility and reusing the developed components.

  • The objective of this study was to construct the spring-mass models for the car-to-car frontal impact crash. The SISAME software was utilized to extract the spring-mass models using the data from US-NCAP frontal crash tests. The spring-mass models of a compact car and a midsize car could effectively approximate the crash characteristics for the full frontal barrier impact and the car-to-car frontal impact scenarios. Compared to the barrier crash tests, the dummy injuries of midsize car decreased, while the dummy injuries of compact car increased, under the frontal car-to-car crash circumstances.

  • In the field of electrical industry, embedded computing environment including hardware and software is getting more important as the industry shifts to the knowledge-based one. Java could play a great role as bridging technology in such a transition because it provides a lot of benefits like dynamic application download, compatibility of cross platform, and its own security solution. However, the Java technology has a limitation of real-time problem when it is applied to the embedded computing system of the electrical industry. To solve the problem, a novel java-native combination model has been proposed and designed to a firmware level. This scheme has been employed in four kinds of control boards. The result shows that the proposed model has great potential to implement the real-time processing in control of the devices.
