Consumer citizenship is essential for better market and economy, and social capital plays an important role for raising consumer citizenship. This study explored the types of social capital developed on social media, and investigated the relationship between consumer citizenship of college students and social capital. Using data from 263 undergraduate students currently using social media, K-mean cluster analysis, one-way ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test, chi-squared test, and multiple regression analysis were conducted. The major results were as follows. First, four types of social capital on social media were identified: mediocre social capital, instrumental-centered social capital, weak social capital, and strong social capital. Second, socio-demographic characteristics variables such as gender and work experience showed significant difference by type of social capital through social media. In addition, the most used social media and time for using social media variables showed significant difference by type of social capital through social media. Third, controlling for socio-demographic characteristics and social media usage pattern, the types of social capital had a significant effect on consumer citizenship. Based on the results, the implications for consumer education to develop consumer citizenship were suggested.

Organizational citizenship behaviors are efforts by employees above and beyond what is expected. For the research, burnout was consisted of emotional exhaustion(EE), depersonalization(PA) and diminished personal accomplishment(DP) by Maslach and Jackson's MBI. This study analyzed 342 social workers in private social welfare organizations by survey. The results of this study were summarized as follows: Social Workers had negative correlation to burnout on the organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. Especially, EE, PA and DP had a negative effect on the organizational commitment; PA and DP had a negative effect on the organizational citizenship behavior. This study finally discussed theoretical implications for future study and practical implications for burnout strategies on the results.
The purpose of this study aims to interpretate the dynamics of the Social Citizenship of Marshall, and thereby to search a tool to evaluate the characteristics of social citizenship working at different welfare states and its developmental level. The existing study on the Marshall's Citizenship including the social citizenship mainly used to focus on Citizenship's composition, its basis and justification of rights to social citizenship. This implies to relatively neglect the concretization of social citizenship into social policy and its application to reality. Against this background, this study focuses on the embryological dynamics of Marshall's Social Citizenship and is to justify that social citizenship is historical concept which has been emerged in the complex development of modern capitalism, so called, the hyphenated society composed of Democracy, Capitalism and Welfarism. The study is to provide that complexity and dynamics of Marshall's social citizenship could be classified into some typology along political philosophical issues surrounding relationship between state and market and individual and community, and such typology can match the welfare state regime suggested by Esping-Anderson. Finally, this study is to prove that such typology could be used an analysis tool for current welfare states in the light of the welfare state regime.
The purposes of this study was to examine the relationship between social capital of social welfare workers and organizational citizenship behavior, and investigate mediated effects of job satisfaction. For the research, social capital was consisted of trust, norms and networks. Survey were collected for 278 social workers in social welfare organization located in Kangwon-do. Regression analysis were conducted with SPSS program. Sobel Test was added in 3-stage multiple regression analysis of Baron and Kenny. Social capital made a positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior. In factors of social capital, trust and network made a significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior, but norms didn't show a significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior. As the results of verifying mediator effects of job satisfaction in the relationship between social capital and organizational citizenship behavior, social capital made a direct effect on organizational citizenship behavior of workers and indirect effect on it through the job satisfaction.
The purpose of this study is to explore directions for achieving therapeutic and social well-being effects through intercultural citizenship education in language classrooms. To accomplish this, we first clarified the concepts of education as healing, social well-being, and intercultural citizenship education. Subsequently, through the analysis of reflective journals on the writing and peer review processes written by university students, we discovered manifestations of key concepts of intercultural citizenship, such as empathy, recognition, connection, discovery of new knowledge, and attitude change. Based on these insights, we proposed the perspective that addressing the concept of intercultural citizenship in Korean language education can be beneficial for language education as a form of healing and for social well-being. Furthermore, we suggested that future language education should evolve from instruction focused on the interpretation of symbols and functional proficiency to practices that empower learners as members of global society, allowing them to assign value to their lives and build healthy relationships with others.

The study is to examine the mediating effect of psychological empowerment on the causal relationship between high-performance work system and organizational citizenship behavior. This study collected data from public organizations that are responsible for social welfare provision in Daegu, Gyeongsangbuk-Do, and Pusan in South Korea. This study employs confirmatory factor analysis in Amos 21 to find the discriminant validity of all constructs and regression analysis by Baron and Kenny (1986) to test that psychological empowerment is a mediator of the causal relationship between high-performance work system and organizational citizenship behavior. As the result of the analysis, psychological empowerment has a significant mediating effect on the relationship between high-performance work system and organizational citizenship behavior. The study suggests to the managers in social welfare organizations how they need to enhance organizational citizenship behavior through psychological empowerment themselves.
In line with network technology development and smart device penetration, the social network service (SNS) has expanded its influence. The SNS which is a service based on communication and sharing among people, has grown based on users' voluntary engagement and participation and its influence has appeared beyond the cyberspace into the overall areas of domestic and foreign culture and society. In particular, SNS-based real-time communication during diverse disasters, can help prevent further damage. By sharing information on social donation activities and environmental campaigns, people have used SNS as a tool to change the society in a more positive way. Such series of activities functioning as a power to change the society have been made much faster and wider through the help of a new media called SNS. To better understand such trends, we are required to study about the SNS and its user relationships first. In this context, this study sought to identify the effects of people's desire to build friendships through SNS on the voluntary and society-friendly activities of people. This study considers online pro-social behavior and proposes online citizenship behavior. Citizenship behavior has been examined in organization context. That is, organizational citizenship behavior explains an employee's pro-social behavior in an organization context. Organizational citizenship behavior is characterized by the individual's helping others and promoting the functioning of the organization. By applying organizational citizenship behavior to an online context, we propose online citizenship behavior, an individual's pro-social behavior in an online context. An individual's pro-social behavior, i.e., online citizenship behavior, could be considered as a way for the better management of online community and society. It also needs to examine the development of online citizenship behavior. This study examined online citizenship behavior from the friendship desire. Because online society or community is characterized by online relationships between members, the friendship between members would lead to pro-social behavior, i.e., helping others and promoting the functioning of the online society, in such online context. This study further examines the antecedents of friendship desire in terms of SNS interactivity with its four factors. The findings based on the survey from real SNS users explain that the three factors of SNS interactivity (connectivity, enjoyment, and synchronicity) increases online friendship desire which then increases online citizenship behavior significantly. This study contributes to the literature by examining the key role of online friendship desire in leading to online citizenship behavior and identifying its antecedents in terms of SNS characteristics. The findings in this study also provide guidance on how to manage online society and how to promote the effective functioning of SNS.
This Study analysis two features of social citizenship in the period of rights revolution. Discousive arguments are derived from different reinterpretations of social citizenship of Marshall. Some insist that main idea of welfare state is rights of social citizenship and the other insist that social rights is realized after doing duty. Especially the latter emphasis work obligation in which individual responsibility and duty, these discussion underlie wokrfare policy. This reserch examine two contrary discourses based on Marshall's theory, and make a close inquiry into correct interpretation about Marshall. New rights, the Conservative party and New Labour seek for ground on Marshall's citizenship theory, but these are distortion on it. Marshall insisted that citizenship constituted rights and duties but he claimed that discharge of a duty isn't precondition of the exercise of the right.
This study is to discuss on intrinsic justification of 'citizenship' and 'spaces of citizenship' to inquiry possibility of citizenship education through geography subject. According to Peters' educational view as forms of knowledge and initiation, citizenship was intrinsically justified through examination of forms of geographical knowledge. The analysis of paradigms in geography shows that 'the human' and 'the social' are generally combined in 'space'-centered language and ideologies through post-positivism. That is, it refuses the concept of physical space which is value neutral, and seeks turn to spaces of citizenship which is value-intrinsic through social space theory. Given that changes in the forms of geographical knowledge lead changes in content knowledge of geography subject, citizenship is to be justified intrinsically. Thus, citizenship as content knowledge of geography subject is to be justified not extrinsically through acceptance of social studies' educational aim in itself but intrinsically through forms of geographical knowledge. And geographical education as initiation into value and belief of citizenship based on these spaces of citizenship is not about making students have arrived at a destination, but about them travel with a different view.

Furthermore, this study examines mediating role of customer value on SNS citizenship behavior. Design, data, and methodology - A survey was conducted on customers residing in Korea who had visited the franchised chain hotels in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and other regions, over a period of three months (from October 1, 2016 to December 31, 2016). There were a total of 426 valid samples, and the hypotheses were tested through hierarchical analysis. Results - First, among the social responsibility activities of franchised chain hotels, all four factors of legal, charitable, environmental, and ethical responsibilities had a statistically significant positive effect on customer value. Second, among the social responsibility activities of franchised chain hotels, all four factors had a statistically significant positive effect on SNS citizenship behavior. Third, customer value had a statistically significant positive effect on SNS citizenship behavior. Conclusions - Since social responsibility activities are utilized as a means of direct marketing, for creating and selling images of products and services of franchised chain hotels, it is necessary to become a fixed form of corporate culture.
