Information technology advances are allowing conventional surveillance systems to be combined with mobile communication technologies, creating ubiquitous monitoring systems. This paper proposes monitoring system that uses smart camera technology. We discuss the dependence of interior orientation parameters on calibration target sheets and compare the accuracy of a three-dimensional monitoring system with camera location calculated by space resectioning using a Digital Surface Model (DSM) generated from stereo images. A monitoring housing is designed to protect a camera from various weather conditions and to provide the camera for power generated from solar panel. A smart camera is installed in the monitoring housing. The smart camera is operated and controlled through an Android application. At last the accuracy of a three-dimensional monitoring system is evaluated using a DSM. The proposed system was then tested against a DSM created from ground control points determined by Global Positioning Systems (GPSs) and light detection and ranging data. The standard deviation of the differences between DSMs are less than 0.12 m. Therefore the monitoring system is appropriate for extracting the information of objects' position and deformation as well as monitoring them. Through incorporation of components, such as camera housing, a solar power supply, the smart camera the system can be used as a ubiquitous monitoring system.

Due to the fourth industrial revolution, people are excessively exposed to smart devices regardless of age, and the dependence is increasing rapidly. In the same context, various problems on information ethics have emerged to infant teachers and children. Therefore, there is a need to present guidelines for infants on the correct use of smart devices. This study proposes means to promote information ethics education in infant education based on a survey on future teachers attending Department of Early Childhood Education. Also, it suggests development of various teaching materials. The main significance of the research is to provide a balanced information ethics education and to develop interactive teaching materials. It also calls for infant teachers, as wells as infants, to understand the need for information ethics education and to provide desirable media education for infants.

Normal people are not deeply aware of their dependence on sight when eating. However, since the visually impaired do not know what kind of food is on the table, the assistant next to them holds the blind spoon and explains the position of the food in a clockwise direction, front and rear, left and right, etc. In this paper, we describe the development of a meal assistance system that recognizes each food image and announces the name of the food by voice when a visually impaired person looks at their table using a smartphone camera. This system extracts the food on which the spoon is placed through the YOLO model that has learned the image of food and tableware (spoon), recognizes what the food is, and notifies it by voice. Through this system, it is expected that the visually impaired will be able to eat without the help of a meal assistant, thereby increasing their self-reliance and satisfaction.

This study identifies the factors that influence juvenile delinquency, which has increased both offline and online. It is hypothesized that the influence of negative parenting on online and offline juvenile delinquency is mediated through smartphone dependency and personal emotional problems. In addition, the study hypothesizes that participation in cultural activities soothes the influence. Using SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 20.0 programs, we conducted a confirmatory factor analysis, a multi-mediation analysis, and a cross-group comparative analysis. The analyses found the significant mediation effect of smart phone dependence and personal emotional problems on the relationship between negative parenting and juvenile delinquiency. Participation in cultural activities overall weakens the hypothesized effects.

Purpose: This study is an integrated literature review to analyze health problems and social determinants of multicultural adolescents in South Korea. Methods: An integrative review was conducted according to Whittemore & Knafl's guideline. An electronic search that included publications from 2018 to 2020 in the PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, CINAHL, RISS, and KISS databases was conducted. Of a total of 67 records that were identified, 13 finally met full inclusion criteria. Text network analysis was also conducted to identify keywords network trends using NetMiner program. Results: The health problems of multicultural adolescents were classified into mental health (depression, anxiety, suicide and acculturative stress) and health risk behaviors (smoking, risky drinking, smartphone dependence and sexual behavior). As social determinants affecting the health of multicultural adolescents, the biological factors such as gender, age, and visible minority, and the psychological factors such as acculturative stress, self-esteem, family support, and ego-resiliency were identified. The sociocultural factors were identified as family economic status, residential area, parental education level, and parents' country of birth. As a result of text network analysis, a total of 41 words were identified. Conclusion: Based on these results, mental health and health risk behaviors should be considered as interventions for health promotion of multicultural adolescents. Our findings suggest that further research should be conducted to broaden the scope of health determinants to account for the effects of the physical environment and health care system.
