  • For Ubiquitous service, there are some method researched. To IT convergence study tourism the convergence of IT and tourism in recent years has emerged as a discipline in the future. Tourist information is information about tourism products as tourists tourism decision-making needed to say. Information presented information anytime, anywhere, using a contact-type media, mobile and efficient tourist information content and generate content using Smart App store to the database is needed. This paper, by taking advantage of the Smart App Places to generate content and Smart Things to query, modify, search, tourism information, tourism policy and tourists can be analyzed, and the average inclination and these efficient tourism information content and that can be utilizedmodels are proposed. This u-Smart is a tourist information system. Build the biggest advantages of the meta-meta-model in real time by utilizing Smart App disposition of existing tourism information and tourist and tourism rating database. Helps to generate patterned by digital tourism policy tourism information content.

  • For tourism, Information Technology (IT) is the one of the most important factors, therefore, tourism has been open to IT. Through internet, the sources of information became extensive. Smartphone and Social Network Service (SNS) make huge changes in tourism. In line with this, Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) is developing the smart tourism system, composed of internet, smartphone, SNS, as representative of Korea tourism. In this research, KTO's main channels, internet, smartphone, SNS, of smart tourism system will be analyzed as well as the connectivity between the channels.

  • Smart tourism and associated topics have been extensively discussed by scholars around the world. The goal of this study is to make available an all-inclusive database-based analysis of the longitude status of research on smart tourism. Three databases, Web of Science (WoS), Science Direct and China Knowledge Network (CNKI), were utilized to gather papers published from 2011 to 2020. The data results were analyzed and results were generated using CiteSpace. The results of Chinese and English papers were evaluated to form the conclusion of this study. The implication formed the prediction of future research trends and development suggestions.

  • Data plays an ever greater part in the tourism industry. While the platform-based sharing of open public data, private-sector intermediary platforms, and the use of social media to understand consumer trends are already well recognized, more potential for innovation exists in sharing private data among organizations in Smart Tourism Destinations. Research into the factors enabling and hindering coopetition in this kind of data sharing platforms is still in the nascent stage of development. Our case study of Sapporo, a major Japanese city endeavouring to create itself as a Smart Tourism Destination, sheds light on the initial approaches to involve organizations to such a data sharing agreement. Founding on seven interviews with ten participants of Sapporo Smart City project organization (SARD), we derived enablers and impediments that promote coopetition in data sharing as part of Smart Tourism Destination development. We also present practical recommendations and future research opportunities for such initiatives.

  • One of the key domains within a smart tourism city, smart mobility, encompasses advanced transportation means and services rooted in Information and Communication Technology (ICT). This includes shared bicycles, scooters, car-sharing services, smart transportation infrastructure, and more, aiming to surpass limitations of conventional transport and improve the movement of people and goods. It also serves tourists as an affordable and convenient mode of transport between attractions while also enhancing the overall travel experience. This study has defined 'smart tourism mobility' as a form of mobility grounded in ICT, exhibiting exceptional connectivity, serving public interest, and serving as a mode of transport for both residents and tourists in a smart tourism city. The research aimed to outline the scope of smart tourism mobility-related industries through expert Delphi surveys and estimate their economic effects within a smart tourism city. Specifically, this study updated 2015 input-output table and made 2020 regional input-output table of Seoul adopting RAS method and location quotient method. The results showed that the about 2.8 billion KRW investment of Seoul in smart tourism mobility may create more than 4.1 billion KRW in production inducement effect which is expected to create more than 1.6 billion KRW of income-inducing effect, 3.6 billion KRW of value-added-inducing effect, and 54 employment across all industries in Seoul in 2022.

  • Commercial space tourism is being developed and this trend is expected to continue and accelerate. Although opportunities and threats of space tourism attracted the interest of academia, literature on potential demand, attitudes and people's motivations for space tourism is scarce. In this context, this paper investigates young generations' interest and motivations towards different forms of space tourism. The cluster analysis on 2,207 respondents highlighted an interest in space tourism although motivated by different reasons, levels of budget and sustainability aspects. Interest in space tourism varies according to how far it is perceived as potential, possible or sustainable, or to people's personal feelings. The paper adds to contributions in the tourism field by investigating the opportunities space can offer this industry.

  • This study is a smart tourism research based on face recognition applied system that manages individual information of foreign tourists to smartphone. It is a way to authenticate by using face recognition, which is biometric information, as a technology applied to identification inquiry, immigration control, etc. and it is designed so that tourism companies can provide customized service to customers by applying algorism to smartphone. The smart tourism system based on face recognition is a system that prepares the reception service by sending the information to smartphone of tourist service company guide in real time after taking faces of foreign tourists who enter Korea for the first time with glasses attached to the camera. The smart tourism based on face recognition is personal information recognition technology, speech recognition technology, sensing technology, artificial intelligence personal information recognition technology, etc. Especially, artificial intelligence personal information recognition technology is a system that enables the tourism service company to implement the self-promotion function to commemorate the visit of foreign tourists and that enables tourists to participate in events and experience them directly. Since the application of smart tourism based on face recognition can utilize unique facial data and image features, it can be beneficially utilized for service companies that require accurate user authentication and service companies that prioritize security. However, in terms of sharing information by government organizations and private companies, preemptive measures such as the introduction of security systems should be taken.
