연자성 복합체 후막용 슬러리 제조공정의 최적화 (Optimization of Slurry Preparation Process for Soft Magnetic Green Sheet)

  • With high integration of electronic components, power inductors are also miniaturized. Recently, thick film processes for small size power inductors were developed and commercialized. However, the thick film process to prepare soft magnetic green sheets was not reported enough. In this study, we used Fe-Si magnetic and CIP (carbonyl iron powders) as starting materials to lead to a bimodal particle size distribution in the sheet. We proposed a newly developed 'Modified slurry preparation process' to get well dispersed condition even at high solid contents. Using the new process, it was possible to prepare a well dispersed slurry over 70 vol% of solid. BYK-103 was better than BYK-111 as dispersant in this slurry and the optimum amount was 0.6 wt%. The optimized slurry was formed into a sheet by tape casting process and then the sheet was laminated. We conformed that small size powder, large size powder, and epoxy resin were well dispersed in the green sheet.

  • 본 연구에서는 Mg합금의 반응고성형 공정기술을 개발하기 위하여 여러 가지 전단속도와 냉각속도에 따른 Mg합금의 점도와 딕소트러픽 거동을 분석하였으며, 이를 전산모사연구와 비교 검토하였다. 전산모사연구에서는 미세조직과 공정변수를 고려한 반응고 슬러리의 유변학적 거동을 분석하였다. 반응고 온도영역에서의 Mg합금(AZ91D) 슬러리의 점도는 고상율에 따라 지수함수적으로 증가하였으며, 전단속도가 증가하면 감소하는 경향을 나타났다. Mg합금 슬러리의 유변학적 거동을 정확하게 분석하기 위하여 Carreau 모델을 사용하여 ANYCAST 프로그램에서 고압다이캐스팅용 금형으로의 Mg합금 반응고 슬러리의 충진거동을 모사하였다. 전산모사된 결과는 동일한 조건에서의 실제 실험결과와 잘 일치하였다.

고주파용 대용량 단위 유전체 제조공정과 ZrO2 첨가에 따른 전기적 특성 연구 (Study on Condition of Fabrication Processing for R. F. High-power Unit Capacitor and Electrical Characteristics According to Addition of ZrO2)

  • $ZrO_2$ 첨가량 변화에 따른 전기적 특성과 고주파 대용량 세라믹 캐패시터 제조공정 조건을 규명하기 위하여 고주파 대용량 세라믹 캐패시터의 제조 및 전기적 특성에 관하여 연구하였다. 단위 캐패시터는 테이프 캐스팅법으로 제조되었으며, 유전체 및 바인더의 최적조성은 57.5∼60.0: 42.5∼40.0 wt%이다. 슬러리의 점도는 4000∼5000 cps이며, 이 슬러리를 사용하여 제조한 그린 테이프는 뛰어난 캐스팅 상태를 유지하고 있다. 80$^{\circ}C$에서 200 kg/$cm^2$의 성형압으로 성형함으로서 최적의 적층 상태를 얻을 수 있었다. 단위 캐패시터의 전기적 특성, 특히 절연파괴 특성을 증진시키기 위하여 $ZrO_2$를 첨가하였다. $ZrO_2$ 첨가량이 1 wt%에서부터 5 wt%까지 첨가한 경우에는 단위 캐패시터의 유전상수 및 유전손실에 큰 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 또한 유전상수도 10 kHz에서 500 kHz 사이의 주파수 범위에서 큰 변호가 없었다. 내전압은 3 wt%를 첨가한 경우 $CaZrO_3$에 형성 및 입자크기 감소로 인하여 증진됨을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • Bi-2212 HTS tube was fabricated by centrifugal forming process(CFP). As a variation of melt casting process(MCP) or centrifugal casting technique, the centrifugal forming process is a flexible method for manufacturing Bi-2212 bulk tubes and has been optimized to achieve smooth surface and uniform thickness. At this process, the slurry was prepared in the mixing ratio of 10:1 between Bi-2212 powder and binder and initially charged into the rotating mold under the speed of 300~450 rpm Heat-treatment was performed at the temperature ranges of 860 ~ $890^{\circ}C$ in air for partial melting. The HTS tube fabricated by centrifugal forming process at $890^{\circ}C$ under the rotating speed of 450 rpm was highly densified and the plate-like grains with more than 20$\mu$m were well oriented along the rotating axis. The measured Tc and Jc at 10K were around 85K and 3,000A/cm2 respectively.

  • In order to manufacture ceramic capacitors for the industrial electronic parts application using Tape casting method, the dielectric properties as a functions of sintering temperatures and the fabrication conditions of green sheet were investigated to consider the possibility of applications. When the mixing ratio of powder and solvent in slurry was 65:35, the uniform and dense green sheets was obtained. The dielectric constant was increased as the sintering temperature Over 94% of relative density and high were obtained to the specimens sintered at $1000^{\circ}C$. We can find that the device sintered at higher temperature than $1000^{\circ}C$ showed the relative density over 94% and the dielectric constant over 2000.

  • LTCC는 최근의 이동 통신 환경의 급격한 발전 속에 그 응용 및 특성 요구가 증폭되고 있다. 이러한 LTCC 소재는 주로 테이프 캐스팅에 의한 후막 공정으로 제품이 만들어지게 되는데, 캐스팅을 위해 제조되는 슬러리는 일반적으로 유변학적 의사가소성 거동을 하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 그러나, 슬러리 제조 조건에 따라 유변학적 거동이 다르게 나타나는 것이 관찰되었다. 이에, 슬러리 제조 조건을 다양하게 변화시키며, 유변학적 거동을 살며 보고 이렇게 변화된 유변학적 거동과 캐스팅된 시트 특성과의 관계를 검토해 보려 한다. LTCC 재료의 주 구성 요소인 glass와 세라믹 분말의 초기 조건 및 각각의 rheology 특성과 혼합 슬러리에서의 관계성 등을 고찰하려 한다.

냉동 후막 성형에 의한 다공성 Al2O3 필름 제조 (Fabrication of Porous Al2O3 Film by Freeze Tape Casting)

  • Porous thick film of alumina which is fabricated by freeze tape casting using a camphene-camphor-acrylate vehicle. Alumina slurry is mixed above the melting point of the camphene-camphor solvent. Upon cooling, the camphene-camphor crystallizes from the solution as particle-free dendrites, with the $Al_2O_3$ powder and acrylate liquid in the interdendritic spaces. Subsequently, the acrylate liquid is solidified by photopolymerization to offer mechanical properties for handling. The microstructure of the porous alumina film is characterized for systems with different cooling rate around the melting temperature of camphor-camphene. The structure of the dendritic porosity is compared as a function of ratio of camphene-camphor solvent and acrylate content, and $Al_2O_3$ powder volume fraction in acrylate in terms of the dendrite arm width.

Tape Casting법으로 제조한 인산형 연료전지 전해질 매트릭스의 미세구조 및 특성 (Characteristics and Microstructure of Matrix Retaining Electrolyte in Phosphoric Acid Fuel Cell Prepared by Tape Casting)

  • Matrices retaining electrolyte in phosphoric acid fuel cell were prepared with SiC to SiC whisker mixing ratios of 1:0.5, 1:1, 1:1.5, 1:2, 1:3 by tape casting method. When viscosity of the slurry was 5.9 poise and the SiC to SiC whisker mixing ratios were 1:1, 1:1.5, 1:2, the ranges of porosity, acid absorbency and bubble pressure were 80~90%, 2.5~6 and 700~2200 mmH2O, respectively. Those ranges are acceptable for a practical electrolyte-retaining matrix. With increasing the mixing ratio of SiC whisker to SiC, the porosity and the vol.% of large pores in the main pore size distribution which is between 1 and 10 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$, increased rapidly. Impedance spectroscopy was measured to know characteristics of matrix inside and contact region of matrix to catalyst layer. When the SiC to SiC whisker mixing ratio was 1:2, hydrogen ions were transported in the matrix most effectively because of high ionic conductivity and low activation energy due to high acid absorbency in spite of high interfacial resistance. The cell current density of the cell made using the matrix was 220 mA/$\textrm{cm}^2$ at 0.7 V.

반응고 주조법을 활용한 하이브리드 로어암의 개발 (Development of the Hybrid-Lower Arm Using the H-NCM(Hong NanoCast Mehtod) Rheocasting process)

  • The Hybrid-Lower Arm, which has been developed for reducing cost and weight, was produced by three kinds of casting methods such as the high-pressure diecasting(HPDC), the squeeze casting(SC), and the H-NCM rheocasting process. The important factors for development of the Hybrid-Lower Arm are the integral feeding in Al casting for heat treatment and the high joinning ratio between the steel part and the Al part. In this study, effects of these casting processes on the quality of Hybrid-Lower Arm were investigated. Compared with HPDC and squeeze casting, the rheocasitng process using the H-NCM slurry had some advantages in joinning different materials of Al and steel pipe without deforming the steel pipe. X-ray analysis also showed the poreless microstructure in semisolid Hybrid-Lower Arm. In the torsion stress test, semisolid Hybrid-Lower Arm was satisfied with the requirements of automobile standard.
